Two iconic characters portrayed by Mark Hamill duke it out in this Death Battle.
Intro[]

Wiz: Over the years, many great actors have made their way into the entertainment industry.
Boomstick: But Mark Hamill's got a ton of roles!
Wiz: Like Luke Skywalker, son of Darth Vader.
Boomstick: And Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
The Joker[]
Wiz: Gotham City. The hometown of the famous Batman.
End of BTAS intro plays.
Boomstick: And of course, the Joker, Harlequin of Hate.
BTAS Joker theme begins playing.
Wiz: The Joker is a murderous clown, who has a penchant for laughing. It's unknown what his true origin is, although it was likely he fell into a vat of chemicals and went insane.
Boomstick: He's also got a ton of weapons! A lot of these are weapons based on gag or prank related objects.
Wiz: Joker has also used guns on several occasions, such as a pistol, or a submachine gun. However, his signature gun is a revolver named the Ace of Spades.
Boomstick: He also uses knives on occasion.
Wiz: Of course, one of his favourite weapons is the spear gun. At first, it might seem like a standard joke gun.
Boomstick: But if the trigger is pulled a second time, it becomes a lethal projectile!
Wiz: Another one of his many weapons is the bladed playing card. This is a razor-sharp playing card commonly used as a throwing weapon by the Joker.
Boomstick: Joker also uses explosives like grenades and dynamite! Geez, where does he get all this stuff?!
Wiz: He also has a lighter, which doubles as a flamethrower. There are Mexican jumping beans stored in his hat, which can knock people around.
Boomstick: He's also got a high voltage joy buzzer! Joker can usually use whatever is on hand as a weapon. Sometimes it's a crowbar, sometimes it's a pencil, and sometimes it's a glass of water.
Wiz: Another one of Joker's most prevalent weapons is the flower in his suit. It dispenses chemicals, usually acid or laughing gas.
Boomstick: Speaking of which, they guy's a great chemist too!
Wiz: Joker created the previously mentioned laughing gas, and of course, his signature Joker venom.
Boomstick: When the venom enters the bloodstream, it causes the victim to laugh so hard that they suffocate! Because of this, they die with a smile. Holy shit! That's intense.
Wiz: Joker is a surprisingly good physical combatant. He can take out guards at Arkham Asylum with nothing but his fists.
Boomstick: Of course, he prefers to use his gadgetry to gain the edge on his foes. And there's still a bunch that we haven't mentioned yet!
Wiz: Like the Joker teeth. These are wind-up, walking, explosive teeth. And of course, there's the Jokermobile.
Boomstick: It can create paths of planks, it's got machine guns, and it's bulletproof!
Wiz: Another one of the Joker's ridiculous line of gadgets are the specs.
Boomstick: These are goggles, except he can see through frickin' walls! Where can I get one of those?
Wiz: Of course, as a last resort, Joker can use the TITAN formula.
Boomstick: When he uses these, his strength and durability are greatly enhanced! He's even able to survive an explosion to the face, even after taking considerable amounts of damage!
Wiz: However, the Joker is only human, and he has limited strength and durability. However, his many gadgets make him one clown you shouldn't laugh at.
Joker laughs.
Luke Skywalker[]
Wiz: There was a time, in a galaxy far, far away, where the Jedi were plentiful.
Boomstick: And then it all went to shit when Anakin Skywalker joined the dark side!
Wiz: He has two children, who grew up and wound up in two very different situations. The girl Leia fought with the rebels against the empire, while Luke was a moisture farmer on Tatooine.
Boomstick: Man, imagine your sister is kicking ass on the regular, while you farm water!
Wiz: After Luke found out about the force, and his uncle and aunt were killed, he helped the rebels fight against the Empire.
Boomstick: Luke's signature weapon is his lightsaber!
Wiz: This is a laser blade weapon, which can cut through almost anything.
Boomstick: This weapon has a four-foot-long blade, giving it decent reach.
Wiz: Unless the lightsaber makes physical contact, it will not expend any form of heat or energy. This means that Luke will have to hit his targets if he wishes to damage them using the lightsaber.
Boomstick: Luke also has the shoto saber. It's shorter than the lightsaber, with only a 2-foot-long blade.
Wiz: Luke can use the Form V style of lightsaber combat, or he can use the Jar'Kai method.
Boomstick: Form V uses solid blocks and parries for defense and strong counterattacks for attacking!
Wiz: Form V has proven useful for deflecting blaster shots.
Boomstick: Meanwhile, there's Jar'Kai, which is literally just using two lightsabers in combat.
Wiz: Luke is also an excellent pilot, destroying the Death Star. He also evaded Darth Vader, who was considered one of the greatest pilots in the galaxy. He also tinkered with ships on a few occasions. However, his most powerful weapon is the Force.
Boomstick: The force connects everything in the universe, and you get super cool powers too!
Wiz: Luke's many abilities with the force include force persuasion, increased senses, telekinesis, and the force choke. He could telepathically communicate with others, he could send a life like image of himself, and he can use the force to increase his jump height significantly. He also understood force abilities from the Dark Side relatively well, and he was adept in hand-to-hand combat.
Boomstick: Luke still has a few weaknesses. He's sometimes impulsive, and he can still be caught off guard. Also, using his force abilities for too long could possibly prove fatal.
Wiz: Despite this, Luke's abilities make him one of the greatest jedi.
Luke turns on his lightsaber.
Death Battle[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!!!
Luke was in Gotham City, looking for a clown who had supposedly killed countless amounts of people. He spotted the clown, takes out his lightsaber, and rushes towards him.
Joker: Oh, so that's how it's going to be! Alright then, let's go!
FIGHT!!!!
Luke slashes at Joker with his lightsaber, but Joker dodges and sprays acid at Luke. Luke dodges this, and continues trying to hit Joker with his lightsaber.
Luke: I am a jedi, like my father before me. You won't win!!!
Joker: Blah, blah, blah, enough with the dramatic talk!
Joker takes out a gun, and tries to shoot Luke. However, Luke cuts the gun in half. Joker laughs and kicks Luke in the stomach, before Luke uses the force to telekinetically throw him onto the ground.
Joker: Catch!
Joker throws a bomb at Luke, but he uses the force to throw it away. Joker takes out a cannon and a boxing glove pops out, hitting Luke in the face. Luke attempts to cut Joker with his lightsaber, but Joker dodges and pelts Luke with Mexican jumping beans from his hat.
Luke: Where do you get these things?
Luke cuts Joker's hat in half.
Joker: Do you know how expensive that hat was?!
Joker uses his flower to spray non-lethal laughing gas at Luke. Luke laughs uncontrollably, giving Joker the chance to punch Luke a few times.
Joker: I'm sorry, but I really must be going!
He drives away in the Jokermobile, but Luke uses the force to make it start floating. Machine guns pop out of the Jokermobile and begin firing at Luke. Luke is distracted for a moment, but uses his lightsaber to destroy the machine guns. He telekinetically throws the Jokermobile at a nearby building. Joker crawls out of the destroyed Jokermobile.
Joker: Oh, I'm going to feel that tomorrow...
Joker sends a few joker teeth at Luke, and they all explode. This catches Luke off-guard, and he's knocked back.
Joker: Here's a lesson, kid! Never wreck another man's car.
Joker tries to stab Luke in the head with a knife, but Luke dodges and kicks Joker in the face. Joker shocks Luke using his joy buzzer, but Luke is able to push Joker away using the force. Joker laughs and throws several bladed playing cards at Luke. Luke destroys them all using his lightsaber, and sends a wheel of the Jokermobile at Joker, hitting him in the face.
Joker: You destroy a car, and then send the remains of the car to the owner's face?! NOW, IT'S PERSONAL!
Joker tackles Luke and laughs. Luke kicks Joker off him, and attempts to hit Joker using his lightsaber. Joker dodges the lightsaber, and uses his flamethrower lighter to shoot flames at Luke. Luke leaps out of the way of the fire, and throws his lightsaber at Joker, which Joker dodges. Joker runs away, and Luke runs after him.
Joker: Run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Joker man!
Luke uses the force to slam Joker into a wall. Joker throws another bomb at Luke, and runs towards the roof of a building. Luke dodges the bomb and runs after Joker. Joker chuckles and pulled out a knife as Luke came to the top of the building. Joker attempts to stab Luke, but Luke disarms him. Joker loses his balance and falls towards a nearby river. Joker yells as he falls into the river.

Results[]
Boomstick: I dunno...something tells me that Joker ain't dead...
Wiz: Joker had the advantage when it came to gadgetry and versatility, having a far larger amount of weapons than Luke. He was also a much better chemist than Luke, and Joker venom could easily kill Luke. However, Luke just had far too many advantages.
Boomstick: Luke's lightsaber could easily cut through Joker like butter. That is, assuming that Joker could even get close to Luke!
Wiz: With his force abilities, Luke could keep Joker at a distance for long periods of time. This would narrow down Joker's options. Also, many of Joker's weapons would be ineffective against Luke, due to his lightsaber and force abilities.
Boomstick: Looks like Luke wasn't "clowning" around in this battle!
Wiz: The winner is Luke Skywalker.
