Boomstick: Shaggy, the cowardly scaredy cat of Scooby-Doo.
Wiz: These two green scaredy cats may tend to fear ghosts and monsters but they still try to stand up for themselves to protect their loved ones.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
It's the Year of Luigi in DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: Luigi's Manson Song)
Wiz: Gaming heroes are incredible but even with all the amazing accomplishments the heroes of gaming have done in some cases they wouldn't have done it without their trusty sidekicks.
Boomstick: Take Tails the Fox from the Sonic the Hedgehog series as a major example of this, without him people would've rage quitted in even the first few Sonic the Hedgehog games.
Wiz: Ever since 1983, we’ve witnessed the many adventures of a certain overall-wearing hero in a bizarre world. Saving the day, his brother, and the many inhabitants of this Mushroom Kingdom.
Boomstick: ...and that brother is Luigi, he may have lived in Mario's shadow long enough but he eventually gotten his own respects within 2013 when Nintendo declared that year the "Year of Luigi".
Wiz: People may like to see Luigi as the Green Mario and he technically kinda is when he started off but as time went on he became way more than that, he eventually became a coward and has a lot of advantages over Mario like for example he's smarter and faster.
Boomstick: Infact, he was also trained by the Thunder God himself and he has a lot of weapons to get the job done, I mean the dude has like over 100 powerups.
Wiz: Luigi can clone himself as well as use the Poltergust G-00 which can create Googi which is more than enough to prove how strong he really is.
Boomstick: Luigi is rather timid and introverted. He’s more reserved and less confident than his brother. And of course, he is scared rather easily.
Wiz: ...and unfortunately for him, that trait plays an important role in the games Luigi's most known for, the Luigi’s Mansion series.
Booomstick: Luigi has overall done way too much incredible stuff within the Mario universe, he's one of the 7 star children and those have the ability to take over universes if they want to and even survived the supernova.
Wiz: Also with Luigi being faster than Mario, he's able to dodge meteor attacks from Bowser as well as moving in Matter Splatter Galaxy and Maro was able to build a time machine so Luigi should be pretty smart with that type of scaling.
Boomstick: With all that being said, Luigi is way more than just a Green Mario and he's way more broken than most people expect.
Wiz: Exactly, even if you want to view Luigi as a recolored Mario he just became way more than that in the end of the day.
Shaggy Uses 1% Of His Power in DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cue: Scooby-Doo Where Are You? Theme Song)
Wiz: Starting from 1969, Warner Bros has made Scooby-Doo which is the lovable kids show that a lot of people really enjoy to this day.
Boomstick: Imagine a show your grandparents watches as kids is still relevant to this day, that is mad wild in all honesty. How is this show not forgotten yet?
Wiz: This is simply because the show keeps getting more and more spin-offs due to the success.
Boomstick: Including Scooby and Shaggy Get A Clue and Velma?
Wiz: We do not talk about those abominations. Anyways, Shaggy has been solving mysteries with his pup Scooby since 1969.
Boomstick: He might seem like a coward but don't let that slide. Even if he is a coward, he has some pretty good feats with or without memes.
Wiz: Shaggy actually met Batman once and crazily knocked out the Joker.
Boomstick: Remember when he got hypnotized in the Scooby-Doo: Legend of the Phantosaur movie? Oh gosh, I can not believe how incredible he has when he no diffed the biker gang.
Wiz: Shaggy is a really powerful person even without the memes with being able to take down and entire biker gang, manage to enter a video game fictional version of himself, not being able to take damage in some point, his plot armor really is something.
Boomstick: Man so he doesn't even need memes to be powerful.
Wiz: Yup, Shaggy was also capable to keep up with Scooby-Doo who in which could defeat Professor Pericles in Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated who has infinite power and can destroy the Scooby-Doo universe.
Boomstick: Oh damn, so I guess he is like high universal then huh?
Wiz: Yeah basically, also for the lore of Shaggy, there is no official Scooby-Doo lore but one of the most notable ones would be from the movie Scoob! in which he named Scooby who he was due to the name of the snack "Scooby Snacks".
Boomstick: That probably explains why "Shaggy Snacks" don't exist then. I learn a lot from this. Now why was Shaggy hungry and loves to eat food all the time?
Wiz: Well it's more so because he hasn't eaten anything whenever he's in a mystery which makes him hungry for literally anything and he was forced to run away from all the monsters in mask which can kill off way too much calories for him.
Boomstick: Alright, that explains everything and why Shaggy is always hungry.
Wiz: Overall, Shaggy may look like a coward but he's actually way stronger than most people expect especially with the wacky toon force that Warner Bros cartoons always tends to hold.

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. We've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
(Location: Haunted Mansion)
Luigi and Shaggy were seen exploring a haunted mansion, not knowing where they are. Luigi was in the mansion because Mario was trapped by King Boo in the painting while the Mystery Inc gang was solving a mystery in the same mansion Luigi was in.
Luigi: Mario?... MARIO???
Shaggy: Scooby-Doo, where are you?
Luigi and Shaggy while being scared in the mansion then crashed into each other which made them both scream out of fear.
Luigi: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Shaggy: ZOINKS!!!
They screamed for a few seconds straight only for Luigi to attack Shaggy out of fear launching Shaggy away.
Shaggy: SCOOBY! WHERE ARE YOU?
Luigi then pulls out the Poltergust 5000 to suck and trap Shaggy into it which pulls Shaggy into the machine as he shouts "ZOINKS" and tries to resist the pull which sucks Shaggy into the vaccum.
Luigi: Phew, mama-mia!
Shaggy: LET ME OUT OF HERE!
Shaggy screams inside Luigi's vacuum as he suddenly broke out and runned off outside the vacuum escaping the mansion in distance., Luigi was shocked to see that Shaggy was successfully able to broke out of his ghostbusting vaccum, he sighed and just gave up as he walked to the rest of the mansion only to counter a ghost.
Luigi: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
As Luigi runs away from the ghosts, he suddenly founds Shaggy when running away with Shaggy being confused on how he finds him.
Shaggy: ZOINKS! LIKE, WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME AND WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME???
Luigi: TELL ME WHERE MY BROTHER IS, YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHERE HE IS AS YOU ARE IN THAT SAME MANSHION!
Shaggy: BROTHER? I'M SORRY MAN BUT I HAVE NO CLUE WHO THAT BROTHER OF YOURS IS, I'M JUST A DUDE TRYING TO RUN FOR MY LIFE!
Luigi and Shaggy then stopped with Luigi not trusting Shaggy knowing he doesn't recognize anyone within the mansion besides Mario, him, and Professor E. Gadd.
Luigi: Stop lying, I know exactly that you took him.
Luigi then got mad that Mario is gone that he punched Shaggy out of anger which knocks Shaggy away.
Luigi: Huh, guess this was a pretty BAD moment for you huh?
The moment Shaggy heard the word "Bad" he got hypnotized and became brave into fighting Luigi, he stood back up with a more serious face now.
Shaggy: This can go two ways punk. One, you walk away... two, I walk on your face...
Luigi: Huh?
Shaggy then grabs Luigi in the back with Luigi being shocked about all of this and throws him away, hurting Luigi.
Shaggy: Say "Hi" to your "brother" punk.
Luigi then got back up from the fact Shaggy injured him with a tired face, he then looked at Shaggy and got angry as he soon eventually grabbed a fire flower and throws it at Shaggy thinking it will burn him but Shaggy can sense it coming right at him and dodges it very easily.
Luigi: WAH!
Shaggy: Your choice...
Luigi: Ok this is BAD, what can I do now?
Shaggy then heard the word "bad" again and reverts back into a coward.
Shaggy: Like, what just happened? Are you ok?
Luigi: Huh?
Luigi then got confused on why Shaggy just turned back into a coward after threatening him but he didn't bothered as Shaggy runned away from the scene again.
Luigi: GET BACK HERE!
Luigi then chases Shaggy as he wants more information to where Mario is at just as he was chasing Shaggy we get a classic Scooby-Doo chasing him with Luigi following Shaggy, after the chase scene was done the camera then cuts to Luigi being confused to where Shaggy is at as Shaggy was hiding inside a barrel, with Luigi not looking Shaggy sprayed hot sauce inside Luigi's eyes.
Luigi: MY EYES!!!
Shaggy: That should do the trick, haha.
Shaggy then looks back and sees a lever that he was curious about, he believes it could be a trick from Luigi in order to trick him but he still got curious to see the outcome if he pulls it so he took a risk and did it.
Shaggy: Hm, I wonder what this does.
After Shaggy pulled the lever a bunch of barrels then fell from the roof and hits the running Luigi with his eyes burned which crushes Luigi flat like a pancake, Shaggy then saw that and walks up to the barriers.
Shaggy: Damn, I really injured the guy. Oh well, he asked for it.
Shaggy then walks away from the screen not knowing a powerup was inside on of the barriers and got on Luigi, a Rainbow Star Powerup got on Luigi as he got out of the barriers yelling "Let's-a-Go!"
Shaggy: ZOINKS!!!
Luigi now with the rainbow powerup then dashes up to Shaggy knowing he has a massive advantage over him now, Shaggy tries to fight back as he threw a punch to the Rainbow Luigi but Luigi was too durable for him now and as he runned to Shaggy, it hurted Shaggy and he eventually fell into the ground because of that hit.
Shaggy: MAYDAY! MAYDAY! GOING DOWNNNNNNN!
Luigi then reverts back to normal knowing Shaggy was hit because of that as he laughed.
Luigi: Haha, too BAD!
Accidentally saying the word "Bad" again, Shaggy's mind triggered and he eventually turned brave again and Shaggy got back from the hole he fell into.
Shaggy: Alright punk, it seems like you've done it.
Shaggy then grabs Luigi and punches him, Luigi tries to attack him back but Shaggy kicked him when trying to do so. Luigi was then paroid and hit by the barriers again but as he nearly gave up, he remembers Mario is still in the mansion somewhere and he can't die and let Mario be trapped in that painting forever, Luigi then got up and shouts "Lets-a-go" while Shaggy shouts "Ready".
Luigi then grabs the invincibility transforming into his White Tanooki form while Shaggy ate his Scooby snacks as Luigi then flies up while Shaggy runs, Luigi tries to distract Shaggy by creating Googi without Shaggy seeing and Shaggy punches the fake Luigi.
Shaggy: Huh, guess I won.
Luigi: No you didn't
Luigi says to Shaggy, as he dashes to Shaggy and punches him rapidly. Shaggy then got knocked out and flies into the mansion, with that being said Shaggy got up and talks to Luigi.
Shaggy: Man, you're not so BAD of a rival.
Shaggy has accidentally triggered himself back to his coward state being confused on what's going on and realizing Luigi got stronger now.
Shaggy: Huh, like what just happened?
Luigi: Your end is what just happened.
Luigi as he realized Shaggy is now a coward again took this as advantage and dashes up to him as Shaggy is now in a weakened state, punching him multiple times and knocking him out, he knew Shaggy is going to come back again however so he took out the Wonder Flower leaving Shaggy extremely confused, the entire mansion transformed and Luigi has access to everything now.
Shaggy: ZOINKS, SCOOBY? SCOOBY????
Luigi: Bye bye.
Those were Shaggy's final words as Luigi then dashes up to him and finally knocks him out in the White Tanooki powerup. He then reverts back to normal as the Wonder effects finally reverts back.
Luigi: Wa-hoo! I'm number one.
Luigi then picks up his vacuum and continues exploring the mansion with Shaggy's dead body just laying there.
Aftermath[]

Luigi was then seen with Professor E. Gadd exploring the rest of the mansion as they eventually found the painting Mario was in, they then free'd Mario from the painting with Mario being happy to see Luigi being back, Luigi and Mario then hugged each other as brothers as Mario is finally saved.

Scooby was running around the mansion looking for Shaggy, he eventually found Shaggy's dead body and realized he's dead leaving him Shaggy.
Scooby: RAGGY???
Scooby was crying for a few minutes as his owner passed away but then he saw a transparent figure popping up soon which is Shaggy's ghost, trying to tell him he's still here.
Shaggy: Scooby, it's fine... I'm stil-
But before Shaggy could finished what he said, Scooby then starts freaking out.
Scooby: GHOST!!!!!!
Scooby after seeing Shaggy's ghost got so scared that he eventually runned off as Shaggy sighed.

Boomstick: Well look at that, this time meme force really did not saved Shaggy this time.
Wiz: Shaggy is a great combatant and has some pretty solid powerscaling being able to scale to universal quite easily thanks to surviving the Evil Entity destroying the Scooby-Doo universe back in Mystery Incorporated, but still it's not like Luigi has survived some stuff that are pretty equal to that such as surviving the supernova.
Boomstick: With that being said, durability in this case should be basically even thanks to Shaggy's type 2 and 3 immortality but it's not like Luigi has done way worse than him overtime.
Wiz: It's also safe to say Luigi is definitely faster than Shaggy as he was able be faster than Mario who at the very least survived the time clock feat and even move in Matter Splatter Galaxy which is a superspace while Shaggy's speed is mainly Subsonic+ to FTL being able to dodge lightning with Stamina being pretty close,.
Boomstick: In Mario+Rabbids, Luigi has been stated to have infinite stamina and we both have seen that neither Luigi or Shaggy have been tired out like at all.
Wiz: As for hax, that feat most likely goes to Shaggy, Luigi may have a lot of haxes too but it was mainly relied on a powerup mushroom.
Boomstick: Being a toon force user Shaggy has a lot of impressive hax feats like immortality and teleportation so hax should go to Shaggy because of that.
Wiz: Power and weapons also goes to Luigi quite easily as he is a star child which are stated to take over universes while Shaggy is quite frankly a normal human with a bunch of wacky universal toon force, also Luigi also has the experience advantage as his battles last way longer than anything Shaggy dealt with and whenever Shaggy does fight, he has the Scooby gang with him and he never fought alone besides the Phantsour movie. It's also safe to say, Luigi is smarter than Shaggy as Shaggy tends to rely on Mystery Inc including Velma to outsmart the monsters while Luigi is smarter than Mario who built a time machine.
Boomstick: So wait, because of Shaggy's immortality how was Luigi able to kill him?
Wiz: It's simple, Luigi has defeated multiple entities that are meant to be unkillable in the past. Take Dreamy Bowser for example as well as the fact the Wonder Bowser should easily give Shaggy a huge massive disadvantage.
Boomstick: Looks like Shaggy didn't have a ghost of a chance to use 1% of his power and Luigi once again wins by doing absolutely nothing.
Wiz: The winner is Luigi.

- The connections between Luigi and Shaggy are that are they are both cartoonish, lanky, green-clad, scaredy cat deuteragonists known for cowering in spooky situations, especially when facing ghosts and other supernatural beings. While not the first in line for an adventure, they’ve been known to push past obstacles despite their fear, showing hidden bravery and potential.
