Trivia[]
- He is inspired by many animatronic characters, from Showbiz, Terminator, and Chuck E Cheese.
- In addition, fans have mentioned Lucky has a resemblance to the character Spring Bonnie (From Five Nights at Freddy's) due to his purple bow-tie and yellow color, though he was created before Five Nights at Freddy's 3 was released.
- Additionally, his design looks similar to Glitchtrap, an enemy character from Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, with similarities to Spring Bonnie.
- In addition, fans have mentioned Lucky has a resemblance to the character Spring Bonnie (From Five Nights at Freddy's) due to his purple bow-tie and yellow color, though he was created before Five Nights at Freddy's 3 was released.
- His overall appearance and design may be based on Cuddles from Happy Tree Friends web series due to the fact they are both yellow rabbits wearing slippers on their feet.
- He may also be inspired on Robbie the Rabbit from Silent Hill 3, as shown by the comparison of these two characters here.
- His name may be based on Oswald's "The Lucky Rabbit" title.
- Currently, he is the only animatronic whose frenzy mode appearance doesn't give him a mechanically damaged look.
- He, along with Hangry and Penny, likely represents automatonophobia, the fear of humanoids and/or animatronics. The same goes for the Gold Watchers and Mannequins. He may also represent technophobia, the fear of technology, or leporiphobia, the fear of rabbits.
- He is the only monster that actually has noticeable pupils in his soundtrack thumbnail and the main menu screen image, with Mama Bear being the second to have this feature. All other monsters currently in the game that appear in both the soundtrack thumbnail and the main menu screen image have empty, dark sockets.
- In the fourth Q&A Vince mentions that Lucky will be the fastest animatronic in the Joy Joy Gang. However, in the eighth Q&A, he mentions that he is not the fastest member at his standard running speed, meaning the original information was either outdated or applied to Lucky's speed boost.
- Vince Livings confirmed in the fifth Q&A, that Lucky's personality was inspired by characters portrayed by Jack Nicholson and Jim Carrey, as well as Roger Rabbit from the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" film.
- The Joy Joy Gang's location was officially confirmed by Vince Livings in the third Q&A to be a theme park.
- As shown in the "Bad Rabbit" music video, the names for both the Zone 2 and 3's locations were officially revealed through that video. Zone 2 will take place in Research + Development: Zone 2, while Zone 3 will take place in Production Factory: Zone 3.
- As shown in the Bad Rabbit song, Lucky's eyes are always trained on the player.
- In the sixth Q&A, it was confirmed that most of Lucky’s lines in the "Bad Rabbit" rap, are heard in "Mascot Mayhem".
- As shown in the Bad Rabbit music video, there is a clip of multiple Lucky the Rabbit clones. It is also worth noting that in the song, he mentions relying on these clones. Therefore, it can be assumed that there will be multiple clones of Lucky, and all the other animatronics, at some point in "Mascot Mayhem".
- In the Sixth Q&A, it was confirmed that all the Joy Joy Gang members have clones in "Mascot Mayhem".
- In the trailer, one of the Lucky the Rabbit clones can be seen standing at a tower, presumably spying the player throughout Zone 1, all while holding a balloon.
- In the fifth Q&A, Vince confirmed that the clones of the Joy Joy Gang will be enemies.
- In the sixth Q&A, Vince confirmed that their Nightmare forms are the animatronic, terminator-like forms of them.
- In a tweet, Vince stated that the bow tie on Lucky is actually a variation of pink (magenta), despite many seeing it as purple.
- With Lucky's Speed Boost ability found within the Bad Rabbit song, he seems to be able to outrun the player using their Speed Boost power.
- Lucky is the only enemy so far to have his portal icon depict his Nightmare mode rather than his normal form.
- Lucky the Rabbit is one of the only enemies in the game to be able to turn into their Nightmare Mode before collecting all of the soul shards. This can be seen happening in the Zone 3, though this is primarily because he was electrocuted by Doug Houser.
- The other enemies that can turn into their Nightmare Mode forms before collecting all of the soul shards are the Clown Gremlins, Reaper Nurses, Hangry the Pig, Penny the Chicken, and the Trigger Teddies.
- Lucky is confirmed to be Nikson’s favorite Joy Joy Gang member.
- In Thumbnail OST, Lucky's jaw clips through his bow tie.
- Lucky and Penny were both confirmed to be able to open doors, in the 11th Q&A.
- If Lucky or any of the JJG members spot Doug, they will alert all other members similar to Clown Gremlins, in the 11th QNA. The member spotting Doug will shout out his location to the rest of the JJG.
- They will also be alerted to his location if he is spotted through the cameras.
