Death Battle Info[]

History[]

Redstick is a member of a society of stickfigures who, while rational, act like animals in terms of leadership and rulers. The way nature intended: Survival of the strongest. Or in this case, the Alpha ruling. Once every year, a tournament takes place to determine who's the strongest and if the leader still has it. Whoever makes it past the Finals must face the Ruler, and if they win, they become the new one.

Now, the Redstick Family doesn't have a good name thanks to Louiston's Father, Hal Redstick. After becoming the ruler, Hal became a tyrant. Using the population as slaves for himself, making them work for him and do everything for him while he kept everything under his control. He just loved the feeling of power, and those who fought back were executed. This lasted for years until eventually, a young man named Marc Indigo managed to beat him at the Ruling Tournaments and overthrow him. His first action was to kick Redstick, his followers and his family out of the civilization, who at the time was only his son who was only a few days old, not more than a week.

For the following years, however, Redstick and his followers remained silent. Secretly, they were plotting a way back. But first, they needed someone stronger. Stronger than both Hal and Marc. His son was chosen. For years and years, they would forcefully and strictly train the poor child, with them not even having a minute of rest in a whole week every week. They would also often send out spies to spot Indigo's weaknesses so they could train the child to use them to his advantage.

Since everyone in the tournament could bring a non-lethal weapon to the brawls, they gave Redstick a Grappling Hook. It wasn't very practical, but it was the best they could use. Despite it's flaws, it didn't took long for the child to get used to the weapon and master it. Eventually, he was ready. It took 22 years, but he was finally ready. Confident of his son, Hal named him Louiston. An anagram for Solution.

And so, under a false identity, Louiston signed up for the tournament... And while it was difficult, he managed to make his way to the Finals, and eventually, the champion. On his way, he met tons of opponents, all with different ideologies and ways to lead a society, but it didn't matter to him. He trained for all of those years. What mattered to him was victory and finally fulfilling his purpose. As he defeated every opponent, he decided to take the loser's weapon so he could use them later. It wasn't against the rules for some reason.

Soon enough, he stood before Marc Indigo. While the two of them had never met before, both of them knew exactly who the other one was, just with a simple look. So the both of them holded nothing back. It was the most difficult fight in both of the fighters' lives, with both of them being much stronger than the other expected. But soon enough, Redstick emerged victorious. After the win, Louiston took over the society... But not for long, as his first action was to give his role back to his father, Hal Redstick.

And so, Hal immediately regained control over the civilization, striking fear into everyone. Now protected by a group of followers with as much training as Louiston himself, he started ruling with an iron fist again, forgetting about Louiston's existence and leaving him on his own.

As he helplessly wondered around the streets, he saw nothing but misery. People living in fear and sadness, Hal's Forces being too brutal on anyone, pain and suffering... While he wasn't taught what the concepts good or evil are, he will felt like all of this wasn't good. His fights with the other people at the tournament opened his eyes to human emotions and minds, and his conscience was striked by all of those things at once, giving him a sense of empathy. Seeing everything around him crumble, he gave himself a new objective. Stop it, and stop his father.

Gathering all of his collected weapons, he went rogue and turned against his father. He started by infiltrating the building he was at. He was careful enough to take on only a guard at once, as they were as skilled as him. While managed to win every solo fight, he was beaten when three guards took on him at once, and he was locked up in a dungeon.

Locked up and with no hopes of escaping, he met an insane prisoner as his cellmate, Kyle Pine, locked up decades ago for going on a rampage and killing hundreds with some weird powers he somehow found. Said prisoner mentioned how he could easily get Redstick out of the cell so he could continue his mission. Louiston didn't believe at first, but when Kyle showed off his powers, he realized he wasn't bluffing. Even though he wondered why was a Reality Warper still locked up.

Kyle agreed to help out Redstick, under one condition. He would fight him, and if Louiston won, he could leave. Kyle wanted to see Louiston's potential and he missed the adrenaline of fighting.

Kyle proved himself to be stronger than everyone Redstick had faced so far, with his freaky powers, one wrong move and he could get seriously injured. Stones were morphed, lighting was struck, blood dripped... But in the end, Redstick got the upper hand and won, having used all of his weapons. And so, Kyle followed the deal and morphed the cell bars to make a hole to go through. Redstick asked why Kyle never tried to leave if he could always do that, to which Pine answered by saying he loved the silence in the cell.

And so, after recovering from the fight, Louiston continued onwards. Compared to the previous brawl, every guard was a cakewalk, so he easily wiped the floor with every guard and follower, as he got used to having to move fast to avoid deadly blows. Every major follower he faced was thought, but not much. The difficulty of those fights were more or less the tournament participant fights'.

Soon enough, he broke into his dad's current room. Hal tried to convince his son to join his side one again, to which Louiston refused. Hal then mentions how his son is a disappointment and that he never should have had him, but was interrupted by a punch to the face. Before the both of them knew it, they were already fighting. While Hal had the advantage in weapons, having access to all the weapons in the country next room, Louiston was way more skilled. All he had to do was dodge the projectiles from several weapons, and after 3 long minutes, he won.

As his father fell to the ground, Louiston picked up his father's pistol. Hal begged for mercy, but just like how his father had done to him, Louiston didn't give him a choice, and killed him on the spot.

Since he had killed the ruler, and due to how that society worked, Louiston became the ruler again, only to turn it down. He says that he was not built to be a ruler, as he's not mentally prepared or trained for that. He didn't even know what good and bad even were. He didn't have what it takes to lead a nation. So, he just left, also due to his reputation was the one who caused all of this in the first place. While everyone had forgiven him and considered Louiston redeemed, he was not redeemed in his own eyes.

As the years went by, Louiston travelled the world. He remained hidden from every other civilization, while making sure to challenge other lone wolf warriors. But it was not all fighting. As he travelled and watched from the shadows, he started learning more about morality and what's right and wrong. Nowadays, he finally knows all of this. Now, he's focusing on trying to redeem himself and become stronger by keeping on challenging powerful warriors from all across the planet. Also he legally changed his name to Louis.
