Renamon: Gaming, one of the most popular genres with many characters spear-heading their franchises throughout the years of their longevity of existence.
Flowey: These 2 are no exception to that statement being Link, the Hero of Time and wielder of the Master Sword.
Renamon: And Issac, the Venus Adept and a master psynergy user.
Flowey: These 2 will meet in a circumstance of a showdown with there being only one winner walking out alive and one loser dying after this fight to the death.
Renamon: I'm Renamon and he's Flowey and it is our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to see who would win in a...
Flowey: DEATH BATTLE!!!

Renamon: In the ancient land of Hyrule long before practically anything, there was a wise goddess named Hylia. Since the beginning, Hylia was a courageous, wise, and powerful goddess bestowing her land with peace from evil.
Flowey: Those aspects would be used to make the Tri-Force, an ancient artifact that is a golden triangle, capable of granting any wish that anyone wanted and making those wishes become a reality kind of like my wish of being an all powerful god where no one can stop me!
Renamon: Except that very goal is similar to that of the main villain of the first Legend of Zelda game in the timeline.
Flowey: No way! That's always been my goal! There's no way some guy has the same goal as me! Next thing you're going to tell me this guy wanted to kill everyone including a heroic figure that rises up and get's killed by him!
Renamon: That's exactly what happened to Demise, but let's talk a bit more about Demise other than the fact that Flowey seems to have a cliche goal of any practical antagonist. Anyways, Demise, the evil incarnate, was greedy and sought to use the Tri-Force for his own evil intentions and attempted to overtake the land of Hyrule.
Flowey: Fearing Demise's oncoming assault, Hylia chose a hero of legend to rise up and take on Demise's army. The hero ended up, as you know already, slaying Demise which resulted in the Tri-Force becoming 3 individual pieces. Before Demise had been slayed though (again), he had cursed Hylia's human form, the hero, and himself to forever be stuck in a loop of reincarnation where the hero and Demise would always fight.
Renamon: Enter the Hero of Time, Ocarina of Time Link, one of the reincarnated versions of the hero from legend whom slayed Demise all of those years ago. Being a young boy raised by the Kokiri in Kokiri Forest, this version of Link would leave accompanied by his fairy friend, Navi, on a quest that would lead him on many difficult adventures.
Flowey: Link didn't run from these challenges though as he wielded the Tri-Force of Courage giving him the strength to persevere through all of the hardships he encountered. I mean, I myself wouldn't run from such easy tasks, but it is rather impressive to do for someone like Link.
Renamon: Link, over the time of his adventures, collected many weapons and items to help fend off foes in combat. One of the signature items in combat Link always has is his Hylian Shield which happens to be indestructible. When it comes to Link's preferable swords, Link wields the Master Sword which is a sword passed down from each hero.
Flowey: Link's Master Sword which is known as The Blade of Evil's Bane and sometimes even called the Sword of Time has many special qualities to it. The sword has abilities such as being a very efficient weapon for specifically smiting demons, granting immunity to certain types of dark magic, etc. Link can use it for the ability to charge up a powerful spin attack and summon skyward strikes from the sky.
Renamon: Link also has ranged weapons in the forms of bombs and his bow. Link's bombs can be used as normal bombs, Bombchus which run on a set track, and bomb arrows which are fired off from Link's bow as it fires off an arrow that explodes on impact. The arrows that Link wields for his bow consist of magic-infused fire arrows, ice arrows, and even light arrows.
Flowey: Link also has the ocarina which is one of the most effective items Link has in his arsenal. He can use the ocarina for weather manipulation with the Song of Storms, slowing down the flow of time with the Song of Inverted Time, time travelling with the Song of Time, etc. Link's ocarina also has other songs capable of allowing him to teleport, but that is still not all this hero has to offer.
Renamon: Link also has a huge hammer called the Megaton Hammer which has enough strength to break even boulders which is used to deal some heavy damage to its receivers. Though the hammer is a really good one, it does have its downside being that it is really hard to move around meaning the striking force will be devastating but can be avoided if you have quick enough reaction.
Flowey: Link also has the Golden Gaunlets to help him out. Being quite the upgrade from the Silver Gauntlets, the Golden Gaunlets can allow Link to toss around huge stone pillars with relative ease. Link also does seem to carry some more child-like weapons like a boomerang that forms a tornado around it when thrown and a slingshot, but they have proven their use in certain situations.
Renamon: Link also has 3 sets of boots being the Kokiri Boots which are his standard boot pair he usually wears, the Iron Boots which weight him down so that he can reach certain areas underwater, and the Hover Boots which give Link temporal flight for a short period of time. He also has the hookshot which is an item that Link can use to shoot into foes and bring them in closer for a nice beating.
Flowey: Link also has other types of magic other than what we talked about earlier being Farore's Wind which allows Link to teleport between locations, Nayru's Love which acts as a defensive barrier against enemy attacks, and Din's Fire which makes a dome of fire surround Link's body which will pretty much scorch anything that gets in its radius while it's active.
Renamon: While Link's Ocarina of Time incarnate version get's these weapons from the game, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link also get's more items from, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Those items being the masks that you obtain throughout the weird and mystical land of Termina which just so happens to have a moon about to crash into its land.
Flowey: The Deku Mask is a mask that allows Link to transform into a Deku Scrub and gives him the ability of to spit out bubbles at his enemies but a downside is that this state is really vulnerable to fire-based attacks. The Goron Mask transforms Link into a Goron which gives him the physical strength to shatter boulders with ease but the downside is Link can't swim in this state. The Zora Mask transforms Link into a Zora and he can use his fins as boomerangs and make electric barrier shields. While these masks are cool and all, there is one we have yet to discuss which also just so happens to be the most powerful one.
Renamon: That mask is the Fierce Deity mask also known as the mask that is the most powerful in Link's arsenal. The Fierce Deity Mask turns Link into a mysterious warrior giving off the appearance of a Hylian warrior. The transformation allows Link to shoot sword beams and get a wider range in attacks, it also has the downside being that Link can't really use his shield for defense meaning this transformation is just mainly used for pure offensive purposes.
Flowey: Link's experience against opponents like Volvagia, Dark Link, Phantom Ganon, Twinrova, Ganon, Majora, etc. means that he has dealt with many foes that differ in practically everything giving him a wide range of knowledge of how to deal with foes like them and has shown that Link can adapt to his opponent's fighting style pretty well in mid-combat.
Renamon: While Link's arsenal is an upside, it can also be a downside somewhat as not all of it meant directly for combat which could be problematic at times. Also, switching between such an arsenal means Link will have periods where he will have to get the weapon he needs just to keep staying in the battle against his foes.
Flowey: Despite the flaws and weaknesses that Link might have, you still don't want to be the one the receiving end of his attacks or wrath in general because he's one tough cookie.

Renamon: Vale, a secluded town that is located at the base of a dormant volcano that housed special people who wielded a sacred and treasured power. This power was used by Vale's inhabitants by manipulating the elements around them only for the greater good and such power was strictly prohibited from being used in the wrong hands.
Flowey: Vale just so happened to be the very place that the main protagonist of Golden Sun, Isaac, was born and raised. Throughout the 14 years of his life, Isaac lived his life very comfortably befriending characters that would later help him on his journey like Garet, Jenna, etc. until one day.... DISASTER STRUCK!
Renamon: One day, the village of Vale had a boulder coming down to strike it. Isaac's parents, Kyle and Dora, went off to help people in the village while Isaac was told to go down to the plaza for safety. During the time of the disaster, Isaac's friend, Felix, had fallen into a river and was at risk of drowning. While Isaac attempted to save him and almost succeeded, his efforts were in vain for what would happen.
Flowey: A huge boulder randomly came out of nowhere and ended up landing on Felix, Kyle (Isaac's Dad), and Felix's parents and Isaac watched this happen right in front of his eyes. You've got to feel bad for Isaac because he was put in a Bruce Wayne type situation at a very young and impressionable age. The ending result would be that Jenna ended up losing her family and Isaac was fatherless.
Renamon: But then we get a time skip of three years where, in between that time, Isaac was studying alchemy along with Garet and Jenna. He had pretty much mastered and learned how to harness the power of psynergy to make sure that something like what had happened 3 years ago to him would never happen to anyone or anything again.
Flowey: Sooner or later, Isaac decided to go to Mt. Aleph with his friends Garet and Jenna with his mentor being Kraden. After exploring the Sol Sanctum, they came across the Elemental Stars which control the elements and alchemy as a whole. While there, Isaac and Garet would be blackmailed into handing 3 of the Elemental Stars over to the thought to be dead Felix, Satorus, Menardi, and a powerful Venus Adept named Alex.
Renamon: After Jenna and Kraden were kidnapped by Alex and his 'team', this would set up the plot for Isaac's adventure of going to lighthouses to make sure that the threat of alchemy was not exposed to the world. Needless to say, it's rather obvious that along the way because this is an RPG, Isaac got some ridiculously powerful psynergy abilities and weapons.
Flowey: Since Isaac is a Venus Adept, that means he has the ability to pretty much to command plants and the Earth at will. Through this, his attacks are pretty devastating and can have the literal battlefield turn you against you at any moment. It's like having Toph but on literal steroids and amplify that by like a lot to get Isaac's mastery of Earth manipulation.
Renamon: One of Isaac's attacks, Quake, causes the Earth to shake in which a bunch of stone pillars arise to hit an opponent. Isaac can also cast Spire, which as the name implies, has a gigantic stalactite falling down on an opponent. Isaac also has yet another cast called Growth which causes thorny vines to uproot from the ground to also damage opponents.
Flowey: With the cast called Gaia, Isaac can open the Earth so that it engulfs the entire area with a reverse shower of enormous boulders and Venus Energy. Isaac also has the ability to cast Cure which can heal himself and revive allies that have fallen in battle. While these attacks are the more basic of Issac's, we have yet to cover his strongest psynergy attacks.
Renamon: Perhaps 2 of the most popular psynergy based attacks and Isaac's most powerful ones being Ragnarok and Odyssey. Ragnarok is an attack that has a huge sword made out of Venus Energy come down to strike an opponent with a powerful force of energy. Odyssey is like Ragnarok, but it has 2 dual swords when it lands with it being even more devastating than Ragnarok previously was.
Flowey: Seeing how swords seem to be a prominent part of Isaac's arsenal, let's talk about the one Isaac can use for physical combat. Isaac wields the Sol Blade which is the most powerful sword in his arsenal that can be devastating when actually being hit by it. The Sol Blade also has a special gimmick to it being it having 2 unleashes.
Renamon: One of those unleashes is called Purgatory. Purgatory is basically an attack that has a column of fire arise from the ground and it engulfs foes into its fiery grasp. Although this attacks also has a weird after effect of potentially putting an enemy to sleep. Yeah, I don't exactly understand how an attack that practically incinerates you can put you to sleep, so I suggest you ask the developers that question.
Flowey: I guess you can say the Purgatory attack is very lit! It has a very scorching after effect! The audience just can't stand the heat of my awesome puns!

Renamon: You realize that our job is to make an analysis right? This isn't the time to make puns that would make even Buzzfeed's puns look holy.
Flowey: You don't have to be such a critic sheesh. Anyways, the other unleash is called Meggido. Meggido has the user jump in the air to.... throw the sun? Since when did Golden Sun characters have the ability to throw around stars like this?
Renamon: That isn't an actual sun Flowey, but that is what the attack is supposed to resemble. Anyways, Meggido basically has the Sol Blade start glowing as it generates a sphere of energy which unleashed upon the foe as it ends up causing an explosion of burning plasma. The attack is pretty much like Armaggedon as it's like the end of you as a whole if you get hit by it.
Flowey: Let's just get back to some psynergy-based attacks before I get the audience hounding on me. Anyways, Isaac can use a gigantic hand to do tasks such as moving objects from a far distance with the cast Move, lifting large boulders with ease with the cast Lift, and hitting things with said gigantic hand with a hard striking force with Force.
Renamon: Isaac also has Cloak which can make him invisible in shadowy areas. He also has Halt which can stop any approaching foes right in their tracks. The last utility psynergy Isaac has is Retreat which allows him to teleport away as the name implies. Isaac has also used some sort of telekinesis before when he was lifting items to repair his mother's roof could be another form of psynergy that Isaac can utilize.
Flowey: Isaac wouldn't be anywhere without his armor either. Isaac's signature armor is the Storm Gear helps him resist other elemental-based attacks and status ailments. He also has the Cosmos Shield which is very similar to the Storm Gear although it also resists earth-based attacks now. Isaac carries around the Warrior's Helm also as it raises the power of his psynergy attacks.
Renamon: That's not all that Isaac has though because he also these little creatures called Venus Djinns that boost Isaac's apitude and can grant some effects that are useful. Flint boosts the power of Isaac's sword slashes for a limited amount of time and Flash ensures that damage taken from foes is decreased for a temporal amount of time.
Flowey: The other 2 most useful Venus Djinn are Sap which attacks an opponent and in return grants some recovery to Isaac from the stolen energy and Ground summons energy spheres to stun an opponent so that they can't move. While these Djinn are pretty cool separately, when they come altogether into one, Isaac can unleash his most powerful move that use the Djinn.
Renamon: This attack is called Judgement which resembles an angelic knight in the sky charging up power in its lion shield unleashing a giant laser beam that consumes the entire overworld no matter what it is only to expand in its white explosion. After this really devastating attack though, Isaac has to wait before he can use the Djinn for combat purposes.
Flowey: Throughout his journey, Isaac did things like defeating the ancient ghost pirate named Deadbeard, single-handedly winning in Colosso which is an annual event where the strongest warriors gather to fight, defeating Satorus and Menardi in their base forms and their dragon forms, and beating Dullahan who is literally a set of headless armor.
Renamon: He even had to fight his own dad when Kyle was fused in the Doom Dragon with Jenna's parents. That's pretty dark that Isaac almost killed his own dad after seeing he was still alive after those three years of thinking he was dead. Regardless, it shows that Isaac knows that he can't do things just for his own wants and needs.
Flowey: He also can travel entire continents in a matter of minutes without showing any real signs of exhaustion. Also, a portion of the power of the Golden Sun is given to Isaac by the Wise One. Did I mention that Isaac is pretty intelligent as well because he can solve many puzzles and can utilize psynergy to help him through these endeavors.
Renamon: Despite the fact that Isaac is a very versatile fighter, he also does has the disadvantage of his psynergy draining after constant uses of it, but he does have a psy crystal with him which allows him to recover his psynergy back to maximum use. Even without psynergy, there's nothing saying Isaac isn't pretty damn skilled with just his Sol Blade.
Flowey: Well he got a pretty good ending after putting his life on the line when saving the world. He married Jenna and had a kid named Matthew after settling down in a small residence shared with Garet. The conclusion of this analysis should be that Isaac is no slouch in terms of how he deals with his opponents.

Mid-Day
The day was very peaceful with a slight breeze in the area. It was a normal day in Hyrule Field as it appeared on the vast, clear horizon as always.
A young, blonde boy with green clothing was riding on his stead across the lush, green terrain and was accompanied by a fairy. On his way to Hyrule Castle to see what the world was like since Ganon had been defeated. This young hero's name was Link. Suddenly however, the young Hylian had spotted a conflict abroad involving a spiky-haired blonde wielding a sword in armor being confronted by a group of Hylian soldiers.

"Look, I'm not here for any conflict. I was just trying to catch the thief who stole an Elemental Star who just so happened to come this way. My name is Isaac and I don't want to fight," Isaac stated. Despite his attempts at trying to resolve the problem, the soldiers continued to approach him with a clear hostile intent. Isaac drew his sword and prepared for combat.
"You were intruding in an area you shouldn't have. You are a considerable threat to the princess and must leave this area at once or we'll force you!" a Hylian soldier from the group responded. Isaac gave a sigh and put his sword right in front of him.
"I didn't want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice!" Isaac replied. The three Hylian Soldiers charged at Isaac thinking he would be a really easy opponent to take down. Isaac ran up to the group for a head on assault. He jumped in the air with his Sol Blade and then dived down to take a slash at the group. As Isaac put his sword back away, he looked over at the group to see how they had handled the attack. Two of them had collapsed after taking near fatal damage and one of them had barely stayed conscious after the brutal attack.

After this event had happened, Link entered with his stead, Epona, to see the fallen soldiers. Link jumped off the horse and went over to the scene to figure out the situation. Link stood next to the soldier who barely stayed conscious after the attack he had endured from Isaac.
"That boy there... Don't let him get to the princess... Please hero... Help us... We need your help or otherwise he might put Hyrule at risk," the soldier stated as he stumbled puking up blood. Link nodded at the request and drew his sword as he looked at Isaac. The slightly conscious soldier had now fainted which only intensified the stare that Link was giving Isaac.
"So you are trying to attack me for no reason now? It wasn't my intent to fight anyone, but you people have a problem with randomly attacking people. I guess I'll have to take care of you also because nothing is going to stop me from getting back the Elemental Star," Isaac commented as he redrew his sword in a battle ready stance that was similar to that of Link's.

Link went charging ahead with great speeds to Isaac's position. As he had gotten successfully behind him, Link used the Master Sword to slash at Isaac which sent him flying several meters. Isaac had recovered very quickly and used the Sol Blade to match Link's next strike with the Master Sword. As both blades struck, a fierce shockwave was shaking the environment.
It's going to take more than just some simple sword strikes to take down this guy, but I need some distance between before I can do anything... Isaac thought to himself. Isaac then used Retreat to get out of close range of Link. Isaac had teleported a couple hundred meters or so from Link to a new position. This, however, did not stop Link at his attempts of trying to defeat the swordsman with a head on clash once again.
"Sorry pal, but I'm not going for that same approach to things!" Isaac shouted to his oncoming foe in a fierce tone. Isaac's raised his hand to prepare an attack for Link. Link kept running right at Isaac despite him saying this to him.
Isaac casts Gaia!
Suddenly, a hole was widening in the Earth. The hole spewed out large boulders and what looked to be magma which rained down on Link. As he pulled out the Hylian Shield, Link slashed at several boulders and used the shield to cover down some other debris and magma. Since Link had been very distracted, Isaac took advantage of the moment to use Force which summoned a magical hand rushing towards Link who had just gotten done fending off the attack.
Swoosh!
The hand hit Link with a very hard striking force and it sent him back tens of meters as he tumbled along like a tumbleweed. He came to a halt and knew that this battle wasn't just going to be an ordinary battle as his foe was much more versatile and stronger than he had originally anticipated. Isaac readied to see what his opponent would attempt now as he had scene a head on assault wouldn't exactly work.

"I guess that means you can't do much against my attacks huh," Isaac stated boldly as he glared at his pursuer. He raised his hand for another attack to finish off Link, but Link then equipped a mask of a Goron on his face. As he stared up at the sky, a white light surrounded the transformation until a brownish, plump, human-like creature appeared out of the blind light. Isaac wasted no time as he casted his next attack.
Isaac casts Quake!
The Goron went into a curled up ball and started rolling towards Isaac. Although Isaac had summoned these stone pillars to stop the Goron Link, he smashed all of the pillars into small debris. As the curled ball figure kept approaching Isaac he avoided the the ball which came around for another chance to hit Isaac. Isaac used Halt to stop the Goron which made Link stop in motion. Now's my chance to end this! Isaac thought to himself.
Isaac stood in the field as he charged an attack up to take down the hero. The Goron went back into his original state as Link with the mask being put away. Isaac then unleashed the attack in hopes of finishing the battle once and for all.
Isaac casts Ragnarok!
A giant sword made of Venus Energy formed in the sky and came down at a high velocity. Link looked up and prepared for the oncoming strike as he casted a spell of his own. The sword then struck the ground which led into a burst of Venus Energy. Isaac then approached the area where smoke had been formulating due to the impact his attack had made. But then...
"Nargh!" Isaac screeched as an arrow of light pierced him. A shadowy figure appeared in the smoke of the explosion. He took one swipe with his sword and he revealed himself as Link. Isaac was surprised on how he had managed to escape the attack unscathed, but Link had used Nayru's Love which acted as a barrier in which the attack had done nothing to him. The barrier had faded after he revealed himself.
"So you're tougher than I thought. I will give you that, but I will also say that nobody is going to stop me from protecting Vale!" Isaac commented in a very loud tone. Isaac charged back at Link trying for a close combat fight once more. Link also charged ahead to fight Isaac which led to both swords making sparks fly. The Master Sword and Sol Blade were clashing once again. Isaac tried to jab at Link, but Link avoided the attack by rolling away from it. Link then used his spin attack to strike Isaac.
After this strike, Isaac was sent plummeting into the water head first. Link put on another mask transforming into an aquatic, human-like fish creature to dive in the water swimming up to Isaac. Zora Link tried using his fins as boomerangs, but Isaac was deflecting each attack with his Sol Blade. Zora Link then used his excellent swimming skills to sneak up behind Isaac for a surprise attack. Before Isaac could respond, Zora Link unleashed a barrier that sent Isaac flying out of the water back on land.
Isaac got back up after seeing a slice from one of the Zora fins on his armor. Zora Link hopped out of the water back on land transforming back into his Hylian form with his sword drawn back out for combat. It's time I start taking things up a notch or I might just be done in by my own hand... Isaac thought to himself as he drew his sword out again.

Isaac unleashes Flint!
Since Isaac's sword became more powerful due to the Venus Djinn's help, he took a slash at Link which overpowered that of the Master Sword knocking Link back. Isaac delivered more blows with his Sol Blade which was severely outmatching Link's attempted defense. Isaac then did a deciding slash at Link which would lead him into his next move.
Isaac casts Growth!
A bunch of thorny vines were uprooting from the ground as they tangled around Link and damaging him. As much as Link could struggle he couldn't seem to get out of the vines in which he was entrapped in. Isaac pointed his Sol Blade right in front of the hero believing this attack would put down the green elf boy for sure.
Isaac's Sol Blade let's out a howl! Purgatory!
As Link looked down, the Earth around him had begun to explode as a fiery vortex of destruction engulfed Link. Isaac watched the scene and moved backward so that he wouldn't be caught in the aftermath of the attack. As the flames began to disperse, Link was on the ground with his green clad outfit torn and some areas of his skin were somewhat scorched from the attack. Isaac was amazed however that Link had even survived that move. Link rose up still looking ready for a fight once more.
"You fought well friend, but your time ends here!" Isaac exclaimed as he try to come in for one final swipe to finish off the ragged hero. Link pulled out the Ocarina of Time and played the Song of Inverted Time. Suddenly, the time flow to Link was slowed down as Isaac's motions were barely being made while the effects of the song were in play. Link then brought out his Megaton Hammer.
When the flow of time was restored, Isaac was still running, but Link had prepared for this and hit Isaac with the Megaton Hammer before he could strike Link. Isaac had felt a tremendous blow bestowed upon him and went soaring into the air at terminal velocity. Link then launched his hookshot into Isaac's armor which brought him back in. As Isaac prepared to deliver a slash as he reached Link, this didn't work as Link had planted a bomb which was close to detonation and released Isaac from the hookshot's grasp as he took cover behind a bush.
Boom!
Link rose from the bush to see an injured Isaac who could barely stand and was losing his breath. Isaac had almost suffered a fatal blow as he had taken a blow from the epicenter of the explosion and taken quite the beating from Link earlier. Understanding he needed to get back up to compete with the green hero's stamina, he casted a spell to help get himself a second win.
Isaac casts Cure!
Isaac tried to heal himself for recovery, but his attempt wasn't all that successful. During the healing process, Link turned into a Deku Scrub with the Deku Mask in which he blew explosive bubbles at Isaac. As the bubbles exploded, Isaac took some recoil due to his efforts from earlier, but he had healed himself to the point where he was able to be battle ready again with his withering psynergy now being fully restored.
Deku Link charged at Isaac with a spin attack, but Isaac avoided his attack by shifting to his left. Deku Link then stopped after getting a dizzy feeling from the what seemed like incessant spinning. Issac then unleashed another attack for a follow up pursuit.
Isaac casts Spire!
A gigantic stalactite formed and fell from the area above Deku Link. Deku Link transformed back into his normal Hylian form and pulled out the Golden Gauntlets. As the rocky formation fell down, Link caught it with the Golden Gaunlets and chucked it towards Isaac. Isaac then used his telekinesis halt the object as well as using the assistance of a magical hand to destroy the formation into debris. Isaac then launched the debris to Link.
Link used Farore's Wind to teleport from his location to another unknown location. Confused, Isaac looked around to find Link, but he didn't find the green hero. Link was on a ledge of a cliff where he put a bomb on his normal arrow as well as putting it right next to a fire arrow and ice arrow. Link shot the arrows only for Isaac to get hit by the magic-infused arrows as well as the explosion of the bomb arrow.
With no hesitation, Link jumped from the ledge of the cliff in an effort to use the Master Sword to slay Isaac. Instead of being down like Link intended, Isaac rose up from the attack and jumped in the air to avoid the hero's attack. Link then landed his sword in the ground as it became stuck. Isaac was directly above Link and charged up an attack as his Sol Blade started glowing.
Isaac's Sol Blade lets out a howl! Megiddo!
Isaac looked up as a huge burning ball of Venus Energy in the form of a star was above him. He tossed the star back into Hyrule Field back at Link to finish him off. Link looked up at the attack in horror as it was about to crash into him. Link then used his last ditch effort in which a white light started surrounding him, but the burning star struck the field completely obliterating every boulder, tree, etc. in the area leaving Hyrule Field in the look of a barren wasteland.
"It's all over now...," Isaac let out a sigh as he landed back on the ground. Suddenly, a figure appeared before Isaac that looked like the boy he had been facing previously, but he had a greater height and wielded a two-handed sword. Little did Isaac know that Link had transformed into the ancient god, the Fierce Deity right before the blast could end Link. The true power of Link was now being unleashed upon Isaac in this form.

"Wh.... What?! How did you survive that attack? That attack was a full power Meggido from my Sol Blade! There is no way you should be standing right now!" Isaac exclaimed shocked at the site of Link still standing there. Fierce Deity Link put his sword in front of him knowing that this was the final stage. This battle would determine which of these two valiant heroes would win. Isaac held out his hand for an attack.
Isaac unleashes Ground!
Yellow spheres of energy rose from the ground and targeted the Fiercy Deity. In one super spin, all of these spheres were eliminated except one which managed to hit Fierce Deity Link and stunned him. Isaac took advantage of the moment and prepared for another attack to take down Link.
Isaac unleashes Sap!
After the Fierce Deity had broken free from the paralysis, Isaac took a powerful slash at Link which knocked him back a bit. Isaac's physical wounds had now been cured and he was more ready than ever to finally end off his battle with his foe. Isaac then used the Venus Djinn to hope to stand a chance against a close quarters fight with the Fierce Deity.
Isaac unleashes Flint!
Isaac's Sol Blade had become enhanced in strength once again. Isaac jumped to slash at the Fierce Deity but he used his sword to stop the attack in it's tracks. Isaac tried to pull off several jabs at the figure but the Fierce Deity deflected all of the attempts and then did a super spin when sent Isaac flying. While he was in the air as well, Isaac got struck by several sword beams launched from Link's sword.
Isaac landed back on the ground as the Fierce Deity approached Isaac slowly, but it was almost threatening just being in its presence. Isaac knew that he couldn't beat the Fierce Deity unless he pulled off a last ditch effort to strike down the almighty Link. Isaac then used his ultimate attack for a last hope against the Fierce Deity.
Isaac summons Judgement!
As Link looked up, a white angelic knight with wings and a lion shield look down upon the area that was the once abundant Hyrule Field. It wielded a sword and symbolized the true wrath of the apocalypse, Judgement. Isaac was on the angelic knight's back so that he could avoid being caught in the crossfire. The lion shield's jaw opened and the white knight began charging up a blast. Once it was charged, the blast spat out of the lion's mouth and struck the ground with a blinding explosion that decimated anything in the proximity that hadn't been destroyed by Isaac's Meggido.
As the blast had hit near Link, he had gotten caught in the epicenter as the blast was expanding beyond the horizon. Isaac landed down from the sky as he looked at the damage he had caused to Hyrule Field. He put the Sol Blade away and started to leave the area. He believed there was no way that even someone like Link could have withstood that blast. Until...
A pile of rubble blew up in the sky as the heavily damaged Fierce Deity looked at Isaac. Isaac couldn't believe that the figure had survived that attack and was awestruck. The Fierce Deity took one last charge at Isaac and Isaac did the same at the Fierce Deity. Both swords collided as both had been struck by the piercing blades. The Fierce Deity knelt, but Isaac had been sliced in two by the resulting blow and was separated from his torso.
K.O.![]
Link transformed from his Fierce Deity form back to his normal form and arrived at Hyrule Castle where he was greeted by Princess Zelda.
"Oh Link, what happened to you? It looks like you got into a rough fight. Is that what happened?" Princess Zelda questioned the green clad hero. He nodded at her as the two headed off into the castle as Isaac laid dead with blood everywhere in the wasteland that was now Hyrule Field.

Flowey: Holy crap! That was one heck of a battle! And Link won which is always a good thing!
Renamon: Let's try to not seem biased here with our picking here Flowey, okay?
Flowey: Fine, but I was rooting for Link regardless of what Isaac had.
Renamon: While both of these two characters were pretty close in power and durability, that's really all they were close in when in comparison to each other. Isaac definitely held more versatility in terms of attacks and had some good range to help cancel out Link's superior speed.
Flowey: Link's arsenal allowed him to withstand most of the tricks and attacks that Isaac would've thrown at Link to begin with such as him using Nayru's Love to make a defensive barrier, Farore's Wind to teleport away from ranged attacks, etc. There is also the fact we have to take experience into account when deciding the victor.
Renamon: While it is true Isaac has held his own against other strong people by himself, he often finds himself relying on his friends in most scenarios. Link on the other hand has done pretty much everything by himself when it comes to his adventures and doesn't really need to rely on others to back him up. There is also the fact that Link has faced a variety of magic-based foes with ranged attacks somewhat like Isaac.
Flowey: Link honestly just had this wrapped up the second he pulled out the Fierce Deity mask to take on Isaac. The winner of this Death Battle is Link.
The Next Time...[]
Goku looks up exhausted and gives up after having a rough fight in his Super Saiyan form. A human-like android that is covered with light green and darker green spots looks down with a grin.
A golden figure looks down at his former master. He tells him that he will become one with Bidoof and that it is his turn to perish. The figure prepares to destroy his father.

- This was PlozAlcachaz's debut battle/series premiere and it has over 5,000 words when counting every section of the page.
- This battle was originally supposed to have an alternate ending and was going to be in Season 2, but it got moved due to a personal request from a friend.
- This is the first battle made by PlozAlcachaz featuring a Legend of Zelda and Golden Sun character.
- Link's original opponent was not going to be Isaac and instead Lion-O, but the idea came to me when I was trying to find an opponent for Isaac which just so happened to be Link in my eyes.
- Originally Composite Link was going to be used, but Ocarina of Time Link was chosen due to making the battle more fair in the long run.
