Leafy VS Anna is a what-if Death Battle created by Psychomaster35. It features Leafy from the Battle for Dream Island series and Anna from the Epic Battle Fantasy series in a battle between selfless and egotistical nature girls.
Summary[]
Battle for Dream Island VS Epic Battle Fantasy! While nature can be a beautiful aspect of the world, these two selfless and egotistical nature girls in green want to do anything it takes to get attention from others. Will the nicest competitor be able to eliminate the ranger from this challenge, or will the cutest huntress be able to slay the leaf in battle?
Interlude[]
Wiz: Leafy, Battle for Dream Island’s self-proclaimed nicest competitor from Goiky.
Boomstick: Anna, Epic Battle Fantasy’s adorably proud childish huntress from Greenwood.
Popup: To make this battle fair and to bring out its maximum potential, both Leafy and Anna will be composited in this fight, in which Leafy gets access to both canon and non-canon jacknjellify media while Anna gets access to Epic Battle Fantasy 4 & 5 as well as Bullet Heaven 1 & 2. They will also be given all of their equipment, regardless if they have been used only once or destroyed.
Also, major spoilers for the entirety of BFDI and EBF.
Wiz: Nature is, with no doubt, a beautiful aspect of the world. There exist people who have a love for nature such as its plants and creatures.
Boomstick: And today, these 2 selfless and egotistical nature girls in green are about to get messy in this fight... a catfight! He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick!
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle!
Leafy Takes The Plunge Into DEATH BATTLE![]
Leafy: Well, I love you. I love all of you! You guys are so amazing, I can't wait to get to meet all of you-
Fries: Be quiet, Leafy, you're not helping.
Leafy: Oh, I see how it is. Maybe then I don't wanna be friends.
Leafy then turns to Cloudy and Nickel.
Leafy: What about YOU guys? Do you wanna be friends? I bet you do, cause you're awesome!
Nickel: Yeah!
Cloudy: Of course, it’s good to collect as many friends as possible.
Anna Takes A Stroll Through Nostalgia Into DEATH BATTLE![]
Anna: Guys, shut up! I’ve found the entrance to the Crystal Caverns! We need to go through here.
Lance: Why is she telling us what to do now? (Did she threaten you? Are you afraid of her?!)
Anna: I’m the main character! Get used to it!
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, and we’ve run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: IT’S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!

Trivia[]
- The connections between Leafy and Anna are that they are 2 selfless, cheerful, and egotistical nature girls in green who hail from lighthearted metafictional parody series with the word “Battle” in it that started on Flash, with both characters making their first public appearances in the early 2010’s. Both of their egotistical natures often encourage them to want to draw others’ attention for the sake of trying to get themselves to become more attractive and popular (Leafy believes herself to be the nicest person to the point where she willingly does kind acts to others and Anna comments many times about how cute she is to the point where she wants to improve on her looks). Both of their plots during the 4th parts of their series involve them trying to obtain stolen objects (The BFDI and the Sacred Jewels respectively). Both of them have been the leaders of their teams during their first canon installment appearances (Leafy was the leader of the Squashy Grapes in Season 1 and Anna was the leader of her party in EBF4 due to her being the main protagonist of that game), are implied to have large appetites (Shown with Leafy’s reaction to the Grand Cake and Anna’s reaction to killing large animals [Notably mammoths]), have 2 evil counterparts of themselves (Evil Leafy/Giant Pink Evil Leafy and Dark Anna/Annabelle respectively), are weak to fire in some way (Leafy is regularly killed by fire and other hot substances due to her body’s physiology and Anna can become weak to fire if you equip the Breastplate, Leaf Clip, or Pink Flower on her), and have infamously stolen things from others which lead others into hating them, although they stole for opposite moral reasons (Leafy intentionally stole Dream Island from Firey as revenge for him not letting her on it and Anna stole various loot from chests due to the player controlling her as well as Matt constantly doing it despite her knowing how wrong it is to steal). Both of them once mistook their own ally with yellow body features and a 4-letter name to be working for their enemies in 2018 reboot-era releases of their series (Leafy incorrectly accused Eggy for being the Imposter working for another team during the Imposter challenge and Anna mistook Matt for being a fascist working for Lance). Both of them have contributed to the defeat of a plot-manipulating overarching surprise antagonist in “reboot” installments of their series who was responsible for starting their series from the beginning and was going to destroy their universe had they succeeded (The Announcer and the Devourer respectively [In contrast, the Announcer had been around since the first episode of the series while the Devourer was never revealed until the final fight in EBF5 despite stating to be responsible for starting the EBF series altogether. Also, while Leafy attempted to help in stopping the Announcer’s plan, she failed to do it by herself whereas Anna managed to succeed in defeating the Devourer]). In terms of relationships, they are known to have befriended various inhuman lifeforms (Leafy befriended various living inanimate objects and Anna befriended various nature-based creatures, notably wooden idols and bushes), have mixed relationships with a strategic girl in red who usually motivates their team (Pin and Natalie respectively) who has romantic feelings for a yellow-shaded caring team leader who both nature girls are also friends with (Coiny and Matt respectively), were once enemies with reckless redheads who like killing others before eventually becoming friends with them (Blocky and Lance respectively), and in terms of their series’ fanbases, they have been constantly shipped with a socially awkward and sometimes dimwitted ally (Firey and Lance respectively) who contrast their nature theme in a way that they harm it (Firey is a literal ball of fire who sets anything he touches on fire and Lance is obsessed with machinery which has been known to cause pollution across the environment).
- As a little bonus connection that isn’t much, both are associated with the number 4 somehow (Leafy placed 4th in BFB which is the 4th season of BFDI [Where the host is a literal 4] and Anna’s first overall game appearance was in Bullet Heaven 1 which is the 4th game in the EBF series while her first canonical appearance was in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 where she was introduced as the 4th playable party member).
- Also, remember those moments when they mistook their allies to be working for their enemies in those 2018 releases of their series? At the time it happened, it involved those strategic girls in red in their teams that they have mixed relationships with not being present at the time as an important plot point (The Pin in the Losers turned out to be the imposter while the real Pin was out sabotaging Bleh while disguised as Taco and Natalie was kidnapped by Lance and locked up inside the Iron Fortress where she needed to be rescued)
- Coincidentally, both of the areas they were being contained in only contained females (Everyone on Bleh is female and Natalie was placed in the women’s holding cell)
- The track for this fight would be called Leaves That Blossom. It would utilize a mix violins, pianos, and potentially metal guitars to represent EBF's battle themes while having some techno instruments to represent many of BFDI's tracks, alongside various leitmotifs of songs from both BFDI and EBF.
- The name in itself is a reference to both characters being associated with leaves in some way (Leafy being a literal leaf and some of Anna’s attacks being leaves), as well as the fact that both of their personalities involve them trying to become more attractive. It is also a reference to the Epic Battle Fantasy 5 track, Those of Us Who Blossom!, a theme heavily associated with Anna.
