The Last Dragonborn vs Guts is a What-If? Death Battle by RandomnessLord1999. It features The Last Dragonborn from the game Skyrim against Guts from Berserk.

Skyrim Vs Berserk! Will Gut's Dragonslayer slay the slayer of Dragons or will the Dragonborn spill his Guts?

Interlude

There are many ways to define badass and many fictional characters who define badass. Especially warriors.

These two lone warriors of great strength and seemingly unmatched skill live in medieval lands plagued with war and filled with monsters. They have ended the war and traveled throughout the lands slaying many of the monsters earning themselves reputations as totally badasses.

The Dragonborn the Hero and Dragon slayer of Skyrim.

and Guts the Brutal Black Swordsman of Midland.

I'm Randomnesslord and it's my job to analyze their weapons armor's and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

The Dragonborn

Wiz: Skyrim, the first province of the continent of Tamriel in which Nords, or any humans for that matter, inhabited after leaving Atmora.

Boomstick: Which apparently makes it theirs, according to every Nord in the game. Sounds like a certain real life country...

Wiz: Skyrim is the location of many notable events in history, such as the killing of High King Torygg, the Imperial vs Stormcloak civil war, the assassination of the emperor, but most importantly, the home of Dovahkiin, the Last Dragonborn.

Boomstick: Who the hell was brave enough to stick it in a dragon?

Wiz: That's... not what his name means. The Dragonborn is a mortal human with the soul of a dragon.

Boomstick: And he's the last one? Damnit, I want the soul of a dragon.

Wiz: Nothing much is known of Dovahkiin's backstory prior to the beginning of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. What we do know is that he got caught at the southern border of Skyrim (the northern border of Cyrodiil) by the Imperials and was taken to the town of Helgen for public execution, despite not even being on the list of criminals to begin with.

Boomstick: I'm sure he did something illegal.

Wiz: Dovahkiin is the main character of an RPG, and one of the choices for the character is their gender and race. For simplicity sake, we'll stick with the default male Nord look.

Boomstick: Hey, he looks like Thor! Every race has their own powers, such as night vision for the cat-like Khajiits or water breathing for the reptilian Argonians.

Wiz: The Nords are incredible resistant to the cold, having come from the continent of Atmora which is even further north than Skyrim.

Boomstick: Nords are some of the toughest sons of bitches to ever walk Nirn. They're soldiers, mercenaries, blacksmiths, and merchants across the entire province.

Wiz: Nords are known for their value of honor, and will never turn down a fight to defend it, which acts as a strong motivator.

Boomstick: They can also use a power called the Battle Cry, which sends their enemies fleeing for a short amount of time.

Wiz: With race-specifics out of the way, let's talk about Dovahkiin. He can easily become a master in a number of skills: Both one-handed and two-handed weapons, heavy and light armor, archery, blocking, stealth, pickpocketing, lockpicking, speech, alchemy, enchanting, smithing, illusions, alteration, destruction, conjuration, and restoration.

Boomstick: He has flames, a destruction spell, and healing, a restoration spell, and shocks. He can make fire balls, ice spikes, chained lightning, conjure ghostly weapons, give himself durable magic armor, telekinetically throw people and things like he's got the Force, make enemies either run away or come at him will full force, reanimate the dead, turn invisible, and much more.

Wiz: He's taken on some of the fiercest creatures of Skyrim: bears, trolls, sabre cats, mammoths, giants, and most notoriously, dragons. His birthright as Dragonborn allows him to permanently kill a dragon by absorbing its soul, which he can then use for his Shouts.

Wiz: In relation to the Dragonborn, Shouts refer to the Thu'um, a power of the dragons bestowed upon the races of man, mer, and beast by the Aedra known as Kynareth.

Boomstick: During the Dragon War, the rebellious Nords were taught how to use this power by, ironically, a dragon, Paarthurnax, and then used it to defeat the world eater Alduin.

Wiz: Well, actually, they just rendered him weak enough to defeat him with an Elder Scroll, which didn't really defeat him, but sent him to the future, somehow. Anyway, the Thu'um can be taught to anyone, but Dovahkiin can instantly learn how to use his Words of Power by using the dragon souls he absorbs.

Boomstick: He can use Unrelenting Force to fling his enemies through the air, Whirlwind Sprint to move fast, Slow Time to, well, slow time, Storm Call to make a giant storm, Dragonrend to make dragons fall to the ground, and even make people do what he wants through Bend Will!

Wiz: He can drain people's soul and stamina with Soul Tear and Drain Vitality, and call upon his dragon soul with Dragon Aspect. The power of the Thu'um has helped him battle several enemies beyond the mindless beasts of the wild, such as Alduin the World-Eater, Lord Harkon of the Volkihar Vampires, Karstaag the Frost Giant, the Ebony Warrior, and even Miraak the First Dragonborn.

Wiz: Dovahkiin also has the ability to access some of the most deadly weapons in existence. He can use Auriel's Bow, which can catch enemies on fire or shoot down rays from the sun using Elven Arrows covered in the blood of a Snow Elf, or completely block out the sun with the blood of a Daughter of Coldharbour, such as Harkon's daughter, Serana.

Boomstick: The Bloodskal Blade sends a wave of energy out when Dovahkiin uses it with a power attack.

Wiz: The Staff of Magnus aborbs the magic energy of his enemies, and Ysgramor's axe, Wuuthrad, which does extra damage to elves.

Boomstick: He's even used the weapons of the powerful Daedric Princes, god-like beings who didn't help to create the world. He's used the Mace of Molag Bal to absorb the souls of mortal enemies, Sanguine Rose to summon a demonic Dremora to do his bidding, the Ebony Mail which poisons enemies in combat, the Skeleton Key which unlocks anything, and the Wabbajack... which does whatever the hell it wants!

Wiz: The Wabbajack is the Daedric artifact of Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness. A blast from it can turn the mightiest troll into a cute bunny for a short amount of time.

Boomstick: Even without all this crazy shit, Dovahkiin can do a lot with regular weapons.

Wiz: His time with the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild allows him to have much higher stealth, which gives him a higher amount of damage given when striking enemies, especially with a bow, which leads to the notorious Stealth Archer build.

Boomstick: With enough smithing, Dovahkiin can make powerful armor and deadly weapons from ebony, glass, dragon bones, the highly durable substance Stalhrim, and even Daedra hearts!

Wiz: Not only that, but he can enchant all of these as well, such as giving him a boost in health, magic, or stamina, or just boosting any specific ability of his.

Wiz: Dovahkiin can summon several beings to help him, such as the ghostly canine Familiar, a Flame, Frost, or Storm Atronach, a Spectral Assassin, an undead dragon, and an invincible magic ghost.

Boomstick: After defeating Alduin, he can also summon a regular dragon. Oh, and did we mention he can transform?! If he joins the Companions, he'll become one of the leaders of them and get a werewolf form, or if he joins the Volkihar Vampires, he'll gain a Vampire Lord form!

Wiz: The werewolf form is ultimately the fastest mode of transportation, bar fast travelling. It also comes with enhanced strength, powerfully unrivaled claws and teeth, and a lust for blood.

Wiz: Even with all of this at his disposal, Dovahkiin isn't invincible. He's still a mortal, physically. Even with the most durable armor with the best enchantments, he can still be killed if he doesn't kill first.

Boomstick: If Dovahkiin is holding too much shit, he won't be able to move at all, and must resort to walking speed, and he can't even fast travel. It's gotta suck holding a ton of riches to sell, and then you pick up a flower for alchemy and find out you can't run anymore. And don't even get me started on how attracted arrows are to knees.

Wiz: When his health is too low, Dovahkiin must sometimes retreat in order to use restoration to heal himself. However, his fast travel ability is unable to be used when enemies are too close, so sometimes he has to just run away a bit.

Boomstick: Let's be honest, though, Wiz, he's still pretty powerful.

Wiz: That's right. Even with his weaknesses, Dovahkiin is a force to be reckoned with.

Boomstick: I think you mean Fus to be reckoned with!

Dovahkiin: FUS... RO DAH!

Guts

Wiz: In the world of Midland, the warrior named Guts was born from the corpse of his hanged mother...

Boomstick: DAMN…talk about a cheery story opening!

Wiz: …He was then adopted by a women from a band of mercenaries, however she died of plague when Guts was only 3 years old. Afterwards he was raised by the mercenary leader Gambino who taught Guts how to fight at the age of 6.

Boomstick: By the age of 9 he had killed his first man but because his adoptive father constantly abused him he soon killed him as well, becoming a lone mercenary.

Wiz: Soon after this Guts was recruited into the Band of the Hawk, which was led by the warrior Griffith. With the group Guts ended a 100 year war and befriended many of it’s members. However after his relationship with Griffith soured, things went downhill...

Boomstick: Griffith then transformed into an evil monster and summoned a horde of demons which killed most of the Band’s members before raping Gut’s girlfriend and taking ownership of Gut’s soul by branding his neck, while he was pinned down and having his eye gouged out before having cut his own arm off.

Wiz: Filled with rage Guts then took the title of the Black Swordsman and became a Demon Hunter, dedicating his life to destroying monsters like Griffith.

Boomstick: Guts is incredibly fast being able to casually dodge arrow fire, run past people without being noticed, move faster than the eye can see, dodge sword strikes from solders surrounding him and managed to react and catch the warrior Serpico’s sword with his bare hands.

Wiz: He’s also extremely tough being able to survive being stabbed by Griffith and having his shoulder dislocated by him, shrugged off being whipped with enough force to leave scars on his chest, and has survived being struck by lightning, crashing into a bridge, being flung into pillars, being punched a thousand times by Mozgus who was able to destroy human sized bricks with his blows and has taken hits from Zodd.

Boomstick: Wait he’s taken hits from Zod the Kryptonian General? The same guy who had his neck snapped by Superman and then got turned into a crappy Doomsday ripoff?!

Wiz: No Boomstick...not from General Zod, Zodd the Demon...Ugh!

Boomstick: Oh...I see.

Wiz: Anyway Guts possesses a tremendous amount of strength being able to easily lift around 2-6 tonnes, can lift and throw monsters far heavier than him, was able to rip off a Demon’s horn from it’s head with his bare hands, has managed to punch through walls with his fists while injured, can push aside the massive Grundbeld and is able swing around his 400 pound sword Dragonslayer with one arm and even hold it in his mouth!

Boomstick: Speaking of Dragonslayer, it was forged by a hermit called Godo to slay dragons but because it weighed so much it was said that no one could wield it, expect the old Blackswordman himself.

Wiz: The sword is over six and half feet long, making it good at cutting through opponents several metres away from Gut’s location and because it’s been covered with so much Demonic blood it now exists in the physical and astral planes of existence allowing it to affect a variety of Supernatural threats. But Demons aren’t the only things this sword has been used against, it’s been able to cut through a tornado, heavily armoured soldiers and even a being composed of electricity.

Boomstick: Guts also has a prosethic arm that was built to replace the arm he previously cut off, this arm has incredible strength, along with a powerful arm cannon and a rapid fire crossbow.

Wiz: He also carries several throwing knives and can throw them with extreme accuracy along with spiked grenades capable of blasting through thick Demon hide. He’s a master swordsman having been wielding them for practically all his life his skill only being matched by the likes of Griffith and Zodd.

Boomstick: He’s also a brilliant tactian being able to spot weak points in an opponent and take advantage of them even if he has to be stabbed, shot, impaled or has to jump through fire to finish off an opponent. He is also extremely ruthless not holding back against armoured soldiers or demons and prefers to finish opponents by cleaving them in half.

Wiz: Guts can also done the Berserker armour in battle, which shuts off Guts’s nervous system allowing him to be unaffected by any injuries he receives in battle and thus allows him to fight unhindered against his opponents. The armour also greatly enhances Gut’s physical stats enabling him to lift a 30 tonne mast, run fast enough to dodge lightning and run up to a tornado and has allowed him to continue fighting even when he had 3 broken ribs.

Boomstick: Guts has accomplished some pretty insane feats having survived against and between the powerful demon Nonferatu Zodd, has killed an army of men in a single night while badly injured, fought off wolves after falling off a cliff, killed the Sea God from within, has slain over a 1000 demons and survived living in the brutal world of Midland.

Wiz: However he is still human and can killed with enough force, his tendency of allowing himself to be injured to gain an advantage is incredibly risky, he requires time to reload his longer ranged weapons and while his Berserker armour does allow him to take a LOT of punishment it does not heal him instead merely forcing broken bones back into place to allow him to continue fighting. The armour also causes Guts to lose any sense of self restraint and control causing him to fight with extreme ferocity but at the cost of causing temporary insanity.

Boomstick: But with his badass sword and fighting skill, Guts is one warrior who you would not want to cross paths with!

Guts: I'll let you live so you can take a message to your master for me. Tell him the black swordsman has come.

Intermission

Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all it's time for a Death Battle.

Death Battle

Pre-Fight

In Midland during a dark stormy night a man on a horse travels through the rain. He is a tall muscular Nord with long black hair, a black beard, a scar on his face, and blue eyes dressed in iron armor with an iron axe and iron shield sheathed as well as a quiver of arrows on his back. He halts his horse when they approach a bar. He dismounts the horse who then takes cover in a dryer spot outside of the rain while it's owner enters the bar.

When he enters he witness's a gruesome scene. A group of men likely mercenaries dismembered with their bloody parts scattered on the floor and the floor as well as the walls are painted in their blood. Standing at the sides off the inn are bystanders cowering in fear and in the middle is the infamous Black Swordsman Guts wielding his Dragonslayer coated with the blood of the mercenaries he dismembered.

Guts raises his head and looks at the Nord warrior staring at him emotionless with his one eye. When the Dragonborn starts walking close to him the black swordsman raises his gigantic sword ready to strike it at his new foe. But instead the Dragonborn walks pass him and towards the bartender.

Dragonborn: Got any ale or mead?

The bartender quickly puts 3 bottles of his request infront of him and ducks in cover too scared from the scene to ask him to pay. The Dragonborn takes his seat and starts chugging down one of his bottles. Guts walks to him and looms over him.

Guts: I never seen you around here before. A new soldier or mercenary traveling here from another land perhaps?

Dragonborn: Who wants to know?

Guts: Your definitely not from around here otherwise you would've recognized me as the Black Swordsman.

Dragonborn: The Black Swordsman? I heard of you and the things you have done from some of the locals in this land.

Guts: I see my reputation proceeds me.

Dragonborn: Yes your reputation as a mass murderer feared by many who kills anyone who gets in his way.

Guts: That's how the public see me as. But I am no murderer and no monster. I have helped rid this land of many demons and apostles and therefore the public should see me as a hero.

Dragonborn: I'm not criticizing as I am a murderer myself an assassin in fact. But unlike you I have a reputation back home in Skyrim as a great hero. My heroic deeds are praised throughout the land and sung in the halls of Sovngarde by my nord brethren. The Jarl's of Skyrim have made me their thane and even the Daedrea Prince's themselves have made me their champion.

Guts: Just what have you done that's so great exactly?

Dragonborn: So much. I have slayed many dragons and the World Eater Alduin himself saving all of Tamriel. And I have killed the vampire lord Harkon once again saving Tamriel.

Guts: So you can kill monsters like that huh?

Dragonborn: Indeed.

Guts: You must be a very strong and capable warrior then. How about me and you throw down?

Dragonborn: Sorry but you'll have to find some other way to stroke your ego.

Guts: I wont take no for an answer.

When the Dragonborn ignores him and takes another sip from his bottle Guts slams down his Dragonslayer destroying the table and the bottles showing to him that he's not gonna take no for an answer. The Dragonborn gets up from his seat and wipes the mead that was splashed onto his face by the impact off before facing Guts.

Dragonborn: Very well. Outside. A true Nord never misses a chance to test his worth anyway.

The Dragonborn exits the bar with Guts behind him. The two warriors stand about 5-10 feet away from each other while facing each other. Guts smiles as he holds his Dragonslayer over his shoulder with just one arm. He chuckles mockingly as the Dragonborn reaches for his Iron war axe.

Guts: Try fighting me with an actual weapon why dont you.

The Dragonborn obliges by equipping a Steel Greatsword instead.

Guts: Better. But it's just a butter-knife compared to my blade. I don't think it will last longer than you will.

Dragonborn: Pray to Stendarr while you can swordsman. I will smite you.

The two warriors get into a battle phase with their swords as it rains harder.

FIGHT! 

Guts rushes to the Dragonborn and swings his Dragonslayer at him which the Dragonborn blocks with his own sword. The two warriors engage in clashing their blades. Their blades spark with every clash. After a dozen clashes they get into a blade lock and stare into each others eyes while pushing against the other trying to knock them off balance. Guts breaks off the lock and kicks the Dragonborn back before swinging his sword at him but he slides behind Guts and then backs away. Guts turns around and rushes to him again and tries slashing him but the Dragonborn anticipates and dodges the sword strikes while continuing to move back.

Guts then jumps in the air and comes down to deliver a powerful strike with his Dragon slayer. The Dragonborn tries to counter only for his greatsword to be shatter into pieces. He quickly improvises by taking out a steel shield which gets sliced in half by a single strike from his opponents sword. Guts smiles and prepares to deliver another strike when...

"Fus Ro Dah!!!"

The Dragonborn unleashes the power of his Unrelenting Force shout which sends Guts flying.

Guts: What the hell was that?

As Guts starts to get up the Dragonborn equips a Hunting Bow and shots a steel arrow at Guts that pierces his shoulder. With his extreme tolerance to pain and great endurance plus his armor Guts doesn't feel a thing even as the Dragonborn fire several more that pierce through him as well. When Guts stands back up he walks towards the Dragonborn who keeps firing arrows at him. Guts ignores them and keeps walking so the Dragonborn changes his steel arrows for dwarven ones that are much stronger and starts shooting them at his opponent. But Guts uses his Dragonslayer to cut in half every arrow. When the Dragonborn runs out of his dwarven arrows Guts rushes to him.

"Wuld Nah Kest!"

The Dragonborn uses his Whirlwind Sprint shout to dash rapidly forward and knock Guts to the ground. He equips a warhammer and slams it down at Guts many times who shrugs off the blows and kicks him away. Guts gets up and the Dragonborns slams his warhammer at him while Guts blocks the hammer blows with Dragonslayer. The Dragonborn stops and backs up equipping a new weapon. His Steel Battleaxe he rush's back to Guts and swings his Battle Axe at him but Guts dodges by moving to the side and slashes his opponent's back with Dragonslayer. It cuts through the Dragonborn's Iron armor like butter and gives him a big bloody cut on his back. When he turns around to face his opponents Guts swings the Dragonslayer at his torso. He backs up but didnt move fast enough to prevent his torso from getting slashed giving him another big bad bloody cut. He unequips his battleaxe and heals his wounds with a healing spell.

Guts: *Scoffs* Cant take the pain?

Dragonborn: Can you?

He uses his shocks spell with both of his hands and electrocutes Guts who stands there taking it like it's nothing. He keeps electrocuting him while moving back before he stops and takes out an aversion potion which coats an arrow with that he then shots at Guts who cuts in half with his Dragonslayer. The Dragonborn equips Auriel's Bow and another potion and quickly coats another arrow before shooting it at Guts. It fires to fast for the Black Swordsman to react and goes nearly all the way through him. The Dragonborn electrocutes Guts once again with his Shocks and he feels pain due to the aversion's effect. Guts grits his teeth in pain and anger and fires 2 arrows from his crossbow's into the Dragonborn's knees hitting tendons making him stop his shocks and get down in pain.

Dragonborn: I took arrows to the knee!

Guts headbutts and knocks him to the ground. He raises his Dragonslayer and strikes it down. The Dragonborn rolls to the side dodging it and its hits the ground. He gets up and backs away and fires 3 arrows using Auriel's bow into Guts's back before he can turn around.

When Gut's turns around he points and rapidly fires his crossbow at the Dragonborn. A few miss but 2 pierces his chest and one pierces his shoulder. The Dragonborn ignores his pain and continues shooting arrows while Guts continues firing from his crossbow. Soon Guts charges to the Dragonborn to strike him with Dragonslayer but he uses another Whirlwind Sprint to give him enough distance away from Guts to charge up his Lightning Storm. Guts rushes to his opponent who blasts him with a electrical energy wave that causes him to scream in agony. When the blast clears up Guts in on his knees in pain and his armor is smoking.

Dragonborn: Such as shame. I expected more of a challenge. "YOL TOOR SHUL"!

The Dragonborn uses his fire shout on Guts and it engulf him in fire. Guts rises to his feet and turns around to face his opponent who is a bit surprised that Guts is standing while on fire.

The rain puts out the flames and Guts raises his Dragonslayer up in the air ready to strike. The Dragonborn uses his frost shout on Guts but it doesnt slow him down at all. Guts brings down his Dragonslayer and slices through the Dragonborn's iron cuirass and his torso giving him a red vertical slash which blood sprays out from. He then swiftly slashes the Dragonborn's arms and his right hip and then hits his head with his sword's handle knocking him down to the ground. He raises his Dragonslayer in the air again and brings down the handle multiple times onto the Dragonborn's face. After a bad beating Guts raises his Dragonslayer and looks to his opponents face which is a bloody mess. He chuckles as the Dragonborn coughs out blood while laying in a small pool of his own blood.

Guts: Was that enough of a challenge for you?

Guts backs away and let's the Dragonborn get back up. He rises to his feet and faces his opponent again.

Dragonborn: "ZUN HAAL VIIK!"

The Dragonborn uses his disarm shout on Guts which knocks the Dragonslayer out of his hands and flies to the air before before landing halfway through the ground away from the 2 warriors. The Dragonborn than equips a mace and hits Guts's face multiple times with it pushing him back while he lose some of his own stamina with every hit. He delivers a strong blow to his forehead which knocks Guts down to the ground and delivers many more strong blows to his face until his own stamina runs out. When he stops the 2 of them have matching bruised and bloody faces.

Dragonborn: "Ven Gar Nos!"

The Dragonborn uses his Cyclone shout which sends Guts in an upwards motion while dealing him damage before letting him fall back down to the ground. Guts looks up to the Dragonborn. Instead of trying to finish him off the Dragonborn sheaths his weapon and offers him a hand to help him up. Guts seemingly excepts the gesture when he gives him his mechanical hand. But as the Dragonborn helps Guts up he pulls a cord attached to his hand which activates the hidden canon and it blasts the Dragonborn's torso sending him flying. The Dragonborn gets up with his Iron cuirass damaged so much it falls off revealing his torso. Guts then quickly grabs a few throwing knives from his pouch and throws them towards the Dragonborn but he quickly takes out a shield and blocks them.

Guts turns his head towards his Dragonslayer and rushes towards it. The Dragonborn surrounds the sword with a small wall of fire but to his surprise Guts just walks through the fire and retrieves his blade. Guts pulls the sword from the ground and rushes again towards the Dragonborn.

Dragonborn: "Faas Ru Maar!"

He uses his Dismay shout which would make most opponents flee in terror but Guts resisted the attack and contiue running to his enemy. The Dragonborn backs away fast trying to make a good distance till he could charge his new shout. Guts swings the Dragonslayer and the Dragonborn dodges the attacks by backing away and moving the side.

Dragonborn: "Tiid Klo Ul!"

He uses the Slow Time shout and takes advantage by taking out a Greatsword and slashes Guts multiple times. He stops swinging his sword and drinks a health and stamina potion and moves away from his opponent. When the shout times out Guts stops swinging his Dragonslayer as the Dragonborn who was infront of him disappears from sight and he notices his new wounds.

Guts: What the hell?! Where are you bastard?!

Dragonborn: Right here!

Guts turns around to see the Dragonborn and once again rushes to him.

Dragonborn: "Wuld Nah Kest!"

He uses his Whirlwind Sprint shout again and rushes forward and impales Guts with his Iron Greatsword. Guts gets on his knees his pain and coughs out a bit of blood.

Dragonborn: You fought well swordsman and you were a worthy adversary. Sovngarde awaits you.

As he starts to pull his greatsword out of Guts he looks up to him with another evil smile as he once again pulls the cord of his mechanical arm and fires from his cannon at him again. The Dragonborn is sent flying and gets up putting his hands around his bloody torso trying to prevent bleeding. Guts rises to his feet and takes out the greatsword from him before throwing it down to the ground before stomping on it breaking it in half. The Dragonborn then calls to his horse which he mounts and rides off with.

Guts: Oh no you dont!

Guts chases after them as they head into a forest

Guts: Come back here you coward!

The Dragonborn and his horse run deep into the forest soon the Horse stops needing a break. The Dragonborn turns his head to the sides not seeing the Black Swordsman thinking he lost him. But he was wrong as Guts jumps out of nowhere into the air and comes down towards them with his Dragonslayer ready to strike. He slices through the Horse like butter and cuts it in half. The Dragonborn falls into a mud puddle and looks to see the 2 halves of his horse then he looks up too see the murderer of his horse.

Guts: Your next!

Dragonborn: "Fus Ro Dah"!

He shouts another thuum sending Guts flying through 2 trees which break in half on impact. He then runs and hides in the tree using his stealth. Guts gets up and searches for him.

Guts: Come on out and fight coward!

The Dragonborn hides behind a tree using his healing spell on himself. Then he slips into Daedric Armor and equips a Daedric Greatsword. Guts cuts in half the tree he was hiding behind and barely misses him by the head.

Guts: There you are!

The two engage in clashing their blades while moving around the forest as it rains harder. They get into a bladelock which the Dragonborn breaks it off and slashes his sword to Guts's neck to decapitate him but he dodges the attack by ducking then he slashes the Dragonborn's torso with a swing from his Dragonslayer but it glances off the Daedric Cuirass. They swing their blades at each other multiple times and either counter or dodge the other's attacks. After a while of sword clashing the Dragonborn knocks Guts to the ground and swings his sword at him which he counters with his Dragonslayer. Guts kicks the Dragonborn away and gets up and runs to him but the Dragonborn quickly gets up and swings his Daedric Greatsword only to have it disarmed by a full swing from Dragonslayer. He quickly takes out a Daedric Longsword and Shield. Guts swings his Dragonslayer at the Dragonborn but he holds it in place with his shield. He swings his sword to Guts's face but Guts grabs it with his teeth and breaks it in half by chomping it. The Dragonborn tries holding the Dragonslayer with his shield but Gut's superior strength pushes him back. Soon the shield gets shattered and Dragonslayer is driven through the Dragonborn's shoulder.

The Dragonborn grits his teeth both in pain and anger before grabbing a hold of the Dragonslayer with both of his hands and removes it from his shoulder. This surprises Guts who backs away a bit while the Dragonborn equips Volendrung. He brings down the gigantic Warhammer at Guts using his stamina in every attack while Guts counters it with his blade. Soon the Dragonslayer is disarmed and Guts is knocked to the ground. The Dragonborn delivers many powerful blows with Volendrung to Guts. After the beating Guts is in a small crater in the ground. The Dragonborn sheathes the Warhammer and takes a stamina potion before walking away. He turns to see Guts coming out of the hole and getting up with his Dragonslayer.

Dragonborn: By the Nine! Why wont you stay down?

Guts: I'm not a weakling like you.

The Dragonborn takes out the Sanguine Rose and summons a Dremora to fight at his side.

Guts: You can summon demons? I should have known you were working for the Godhand.

Dremora: I honor my lord by destroying you!

Guts engages in sword clashing with the Dremora. They soon get into a bladelock which Guts breaks off and cuts off the hands of the Dremora making him drop his Daedric weapon leaving him defenseless. Then he decapitates him and he disappears. The Dragonborn summons another one which rushes to Guts. Guts dodges the sword swing by ducking then slices him clean in half.

The Dragonborn does another shout that fills the sky with thunder clouds. Lightning strikes comes down towards Guts and electrocutes him making him scream in pain and another lightning strike comes down electrocuting him as well making him go to his knees in pain. The third lightning strike makes him fall to the ground. Soon the shout times out and the sky returns to normal and it stops raining. The Dragonborn walks towards Guts who grabs a few smoke bombs and throws them at the Dragonborn. They form a cloud of smoke around the Dragonborn making it hard for him to see his surrounding. But...

Dragonborn: "Lok Vah Koor"!

He uses the Clear Skies shout to clear away the smoke cloud and see's is opponent rushing toward him. Guts swings his Dragonslayer at the Dragonborn's torso. The swing cracks and damages his daedric armor. The Dragonborn backs away and the two stare down at each other. The Dragonborn looks up to the full moon then back to his opponent.

The Dragonborn's eyes went from blue to glowing red. His arms grew longer and his legs as well while his muscles grew bigger and he grew a tail. Black fur started to grow all over his body and his teeth grew as sharp as fangs.

Guts: What the hell?

The Dragonborn takes the form of a Werewolf and growls viciously at his opponent.

Gut: You really think that this mangy mutt form of yours scares me?

He points his crossbow and it and fires arrows that pierce the beast's torso but the arrows dont faze it as it walks close to Guts. When it is infront of him Guts reaches from his Dragonslayer but before he can pull it out the werewolf strikes him with a claw swipe that sends Guts flying. He sprints towards him before he gets up and repeadtly claws his face giving him more scars then drives his teeth into Gut's neck causing him to scream in pain. Guts tries reaching for his Dragonslayer but the Werewolf pins down his right arm with his. Guts then uses his other arm to take out his dagger and stabs it through one of the Werewolf's eyes causing it to get of him and roar in pain. Guts grabs his Dragonslayer and tries to swing it at the beast but it disarms him by hitting the sword out of his arms with a strike then strikes Guts again and sends him flying. Guts slowly gets up but gets back down on all fours to wounded to continue fighting as the Werewolf slowly walks towards him.

Guts makes it too his feet and The Berserker armor starts enveloping Gut's limbs, then began creeping over Gut's chest. The wolf shaped helmet and its jaw soon swallowed Gut's head as two red eyes stared back at the Werewolfs red eyes.

The Werewolf sprints to Guts and Guts charges to him. Guts jumps on top of the beast. He then grabs the dagger still lodged in the beasts eye and pulls it out and stabs the beast's chest repeatedly with it. He tosses the knife aside gets off the beast and picks it up and throws him before running to his Dragonslayer and retrieving it. He runs back to the beast who tries to strike him only to lose 4 claws by a strike with Dragonslayer. Guts then slashes it's torso spraying blood out and delivers more slashes to various parts of it's body spraying more blood out that paints the Berserker armor. He then drives the Dragonslayer deep through it's chest and pulls it out letting the beast fall down to the ground in a pool of it's own blood. The beast returns to the human form of the Dragonborn who is only in trousers and laying down on the bloody ground severly wounded.

Guts drives his Dragonslayer to the ground and picks up the Dragonborn by his neck. He delivers many punches to his gut making him cough out more blood then too his face. He then runs through the forest using the Dragonborn as a shield as they go through many tree's that break in half through the Dragonborn's body. He reaches a mountain and tosses the Dragonborn to it. The impact makes a few boulders at the top of the mountain fall down on top of the Dragonborn burying him in rocks. Guts walks away to where his Dragonslayer is.

The Dragonborn emerges from the pile of rubble and uses all his magic to heal himself enough to rise to his feet. Refusing to accept defeat he goes to where Guts is at. Guts takes his Dragonslayer from the ground and walks towards the Dragonborn intending to finish him off by cleaving him in half. But just then the Dragonborn decides to use and unleash the full might of his Thuum.

Dragonborn: "Naal/Voth faal suleyk do Akatosh zu'u fen al hi los hi kriist ahrk send hi wah Oblivion!!!"

The powerful thumm makes the entire forest shake. Many tree's fall down and the mountains shake before shattering into rubble. The Dragonborn continues to use this shout as it gets more strong and powerful with every word. The entire land of Midland starts shaking and the people believe there's an earthquake. Guts is unable to withstand the full power of the Thuum and his indestructible Berserker armor starts cracking. The Dragonborn see's the damage his shout is doing to his opponent so he continues it. Pieces of the Berserker armor slowly start to fall off and light shines from the holes of every piece falled off. Soon the entire Berserker armor shatters and falls off Guts. The Dragonborn stops his mighty thuum and takes a moment to catch his breath. He see's his dizzy opponent too damaged to continue fighting and decides to finish him off.

He takes out the daedric artifact of Sheogorath known as Wabbajack and points it at Guts before firing a spell at him. When it hits it's target, he glows in a red aurora before POOF turning into some gold coins.

The Dragonborn later visits a healer's shop where he askes for a strong healing potion. He pays with some gold coins and after he takes his leave from the shop, while drinking the potion, we zoom in on the coins that the healer is examining and see Gut's face printed on them that confuses her.

Results

From what we seen in gameplay it's reasonable why people would think the Dragonborn would lose to Guts due to him not having a very unique combat style or impressive agility, from fighting with mostly normal weapons and armors, and not being able to handle large or multiple enemies the same way as Guts does. It would seem that the Dragonborn isnt much of a superhuman rather an average human warrior who makes up for it with his magicial abilities and powerful shouts. But things arent always what they seem.

The Dragonborn was superior to Guts in terms of speed and durablilty.

Guts top speed feat is dodging lightning while in his berserker armor and The Dragonborn is also capable of dodging lightning as he has shown through the game that he can dodge lightning based spells such as lighting bolts and blasts. So he is faster than Guts in his base and equal in speed to him in his Berserker armor. And with his time stop and whirlwind shouts he could make himself more faster and Guts slower for a limited time though.

The Dragonborn has trained and fought his way into becoming legendary and one of the greatest warriors in all of Tamriel. With that being said we can compare him to other warriors in the Elder Scrolls Lore.

He should be faster and more skilled than Ansei warriors who can react and swing their swords in microseconds. Maybe Guts can swing around his gigantic sword so much it appears as blurs but if the Dragonborn can swing and react his in microseconds then he could easily counter and anticipate most of Gut's attacks.

Guts has very impressive endurance and has survive countless wounds but the Dragonborn was far more durable than him. 

He was unscathed by the full might of the Greybeards thuum and during the long shouting ceremony he stood on his feet the entire time and only suffered minor hearing loss.

According to the Pocket Guide of the Empire, 1st Edition when Tiber Septim went to train with the Greybeards they greeted him with a voice powerful enough to shake the world.

Of course it could have been refering to the Throat of the World rather than the whole world but a mere whisper from the Greybeards is enough to shake the Throat of the World from what we seen in the game meaning its far more likely they were referring to the entire world or maybe Tamriel which is the main continent of Nirn.

If a mere whisper of their voice is powerful enough to shake the largest mountain in all of Tamriel and a greeting can shake Tamriel then the full might of their thuum would be at least Continent level.

If the Dragonborn can endure this as well as Miraak and Alduin strongest attacks then he was far more durable then Guts even with his berserker armor on.

Throughout the game the Dragonborn hasnt shown a lot of strength feats but Guts has in the show's and manga from tossing large demons around to lifting a 30 ton ship but strength alone isnt enough to give you a victory.

Guts did have a few more advantages over Db. Such as his experience, willpower, greater stamina, and Berserker armor. 

Like for one most of the dragonborn's weapons and armor's are made from material's that Dragonslayer should easily be able to cut through considering it was strong enough to damage Grunbeld's corundum skin. Corundum is second only to diamonds in hardness. But the Dragonborn strongest armor set's such as Daedric armor and Dragonplate armor can take a lot of damage. Also his daedric artifacts as well as the Bow of Auriel gives him the better arsenal.

This bow's arrows can reach the sun in 3 seconds and can damage even deities no way Guts could dodge them nor take them like a champ. The daedric artifacts were made by the Daedric princes and made to be able to affect any mortal Guts is no exception. A blast from the Wabbajack can even affect Giants and Dragons. Guts cant win if he's turned into a bunny, mudcarb, sweetroll, or a pile of septims can he? 

Other the Dragonslayer the rest of Gut's arsenal are useless against the Dragonborn. Gut's crossbow arm? Oh please the Dragonborn isnt a guard who cant take arrows to the knee he has took dozens if not hundreds of arrows throughout all his adventures and is still an adventurer. His dagger and throwing knives? The DB has been stabbed and slash by dagger and sword wielding enemies many times before and it barely ever slows him down. His mini bombs? The Dragonborn can take these mini bombs like nothing with his durability and he cant be blinded easily. His canon arm? Sure that could work but like I said with the Dragonborn's durability at best they can just push him back. They definitly cant knock him off his feat if a world shaking shout cant. His mechanical arm? Well if it was a hand to hand combat battle Guts would have won but the Dragonborn doesnt fight with his bare hands outside of brawls he uses his weapons and shouts. 

Gut's trump card was his berserker armor and the Dragonborn's are his shouts. 

With his Berserker armor Guts strength, speed, durability is greatly increased and will be far stronger than the Dragonborn and will not stop fighting him until he wins or his last drop of blood is spilled.

There are some shouts that Guts can prove resistant too due to his willpower, determination, and mind set such as the Bend Will Shout and Dismay. The Fire Shout wouldn't do much since Guts should be use to going through fires without harm by now.

But Gut's cant power through all the Dragonborn's shouts. The Dragonborn thuum is just too powerful. Want to know how powerful?

When Miraak battled the dragon priest Vahlok his shouts separated the island Solstheim and forced it out to sea. So Miraak's shouts are island level and the Dragonborn should be as well since he defeated him. But since the Dragonborn absorbed his power as well his shouts attack potency and destructive caapacity are over island level.

Guts berserker armor is said to be indestructible but that is only because it has never faced something as powerful as the full might of the Thuum. Believe me when I say he was lucky to be in one piece after that shout.

The Dragonborn can call and summon 2 dragon allies with his Call Dragon and Summon Durnehviir to fight at his side but Guts should be able to handle them well since their no reason to assume that these dragons should be superior the demons in the Berserk world that Guts faces on a daily basis. Plus his Dragonslayer was made for the very purpose of slaying dragons.

When the Dragonborn fights tough opponents he's smart to keep a good distance from them and uses his shouts, magical abilities, and arrows to damage and weaken them greatly before finishing them off up close. Guts tactics are allowing himself to be severely injured in battle and attacking enemies who believe him to be too injured to continue fighting with surprise attacks before finishing them off with his Dragonslayer. The Dragonborn tactics were more capable of besting Guts then Guts tactics were of besting the Dragonborn. 

Guts is known for being able to defeat opponents superior to him due to his luck and willpower but Gut's hasnt ever faced an enemy near country or island level.

Guts and his Dragonslayer couldnt slay the dragon slayer and the Dragonborn had his taste of sweet victory

• The connection between the Dragonborn and Guts is that they are both lone warriors (Though Guts has his party and the Dragonborn can recruit followers) living in medieval lands filled with death and violence. They both wear armor and fight with arrows, daggers, and swords. They have fought in a war and ended that war (Guts hundred year war and Dragonborn the civil war). They have travelled throughout their lands fighting many enemies and slaying evil creatures. They both seemed to be unmatched by other warriors in their lands. They are both anti heroes and have an inner evil being that influences them both into evil behavior (Guts beast of darkness and the Dragonborn dragon soul gives him the same urges as dragons which is why he robs and kills people and is willing to become an assassin or thief)
