Lady Nagant vs Widowmaker is an episode in BeautifulDuwanged's Season 2, starring Lady Nagant from My Hero Academia fighting Widowmaker from Overwatch to see who's the thickest better sniper.

Introduction[]

ROB: Snipers; The deadliest types of killers within the world, able to kill you from a distance that's essentially impossible to counter.

Game and Watch: Hell yeah! Snipers are pretty badass, too, especially when they're one of the best killers ever!

ROB: Of course, that includes Widowmaker, the quiet and deadly assassin from Overwatch.

Game and Watch: And Tsutsumi Kaina, the Pro Hero-turned-villain from My Hero Academia!

Lady Nagant entrance

ROB: We'll be researching their weapons, armor, and skills, to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE.

Lady Nagant[]

ROB: Hero society; Everyone in the world was associated with it at one point. Whether this included villains, heroes, or even the neutral characters.

Game and Watch: 'Course, once everyone in the world looks up to you as a savior... Well, society is bound to be corrupted, and negatively effect those within it.

ROB: The best case of this in My Hero Academia is Lady Nagant. A pro-hero turned villain after the faults of corrupted heroes, she'd become a criminal, and once she was able to leave prison, she was tasked to do one thing. Kill this one little kid, which, of course, failed miserably.

Game and Watch: Hey, hey, hey. Let's at least step back a bit!

Background

Name: Kaina Tsutsumi

Age: 30s

Gender: Female

Quirk: Rifle, Air Walk

Pro Hero, but also not.

ROB: Right... Kaina Tsutsumi was a regular Pro Hero, solving and beating crime with her highly proficient rifle quirk, when, of course, she was told to dispose of some heroes.

Game and Watch: Obviously, this secret work had caused a massive issue with her mental state-- And then one day she just snapped!

Lady Nagant card 1

ROB: Yeah, she literally saw the blood on her hands, and she... Well, didn't like it at all.

Game and Watch: Once she was tasked to kill another hero by the President of the Safety Commission, she just went and shot him in the face! Pretty badass, yeah, but also got her into deep trouble.

ROB: This basically landed Lady Nagant into prison permanently, while society merely brushed it off as her shooting another Pro Hero instead of, you know, the president.

Game and Watch: Pretty dark, even for me! And I'm completely black--

ROB: Yeah. You're the funniest guy I know.

Game and Watch: Fine, no more joking around. Anyways, as Lady Nagant was put in prison, she'd seemingly stop her deeds; Until she didn't! Yeah, as it turns out, once some massive villain decides to break you out of prison, you've got to work with him to put an end to an aspiring hero.

ROB: That's true. Lady Nagant was then sent after Izuku Midoriya, and to make sure she only did this, she was granted a quirk that would cause her to self-destruct if she disobeyed All For One, but in return, she was granted a very useful quirk known as Air Walk.

Game and Watch: Speaking of abilities...

Quirks

Rifle

Lady Nagant's quirk allows her to extend a rifle from her right elbow, which she has high proficiency and skill with.

Air Walk

Lady Nagant's second quirk allows her to hover and walk in air, giving her a degree of acrobatics and an edge in some situations.

Self-Destruction

Lady Nagant's third, although unnamed, quirk will cause her to explode if she has second-thoughts on being with One For All.

Game and Watch: If this wasn't already obvious, Lady Nagant's first quirk was known as Rifle. This gun extends from her elbow, making her entire arm form as one, something she's one of the most skilled users of. Not only does her arm work as a sniper rifle, though, but it can extend a long tendril to create a scope, or create ammo by using her hair, twisting her colored locks to create bullets.

ROB: Of course, not only is she extremely skilled with this, but she also unlocked another quirk... Er, granted to her by All For One, actually. This was known as "Air Walk", a quirk that allows Lady Nagant to seemingly walk on air, allowing her to take advantage of her range and skill, which she can also use for a bit more acrobatic movement, in the case that she needed it.

Game and Watch: Not only this, but she also has this funny quirk, called... Well, it doesn't really have a name.

DEATH BATTLE![]

Pre-Fight[]

9:00 PM

It was raining heavily under the night sky, clouds formed all throughout the sky above. Crouched upon a building sat a woman, who's pale blue skin was being hit by each raindrop that landed. She didn't mind this at all, though, her rifle raised as she kept an eye closed, looking for where her target were to be.

The woman, of course, was known as Widowmaker, who wore a purple suit, that was rather tight against her skin. It didn't help that she was being soaked in water, but, she could care less. Sighing, her infra-sight goggles would begin to illuminate with a red shine, glowing a bit more from raindrops that landed on it, and allowed her to look for each individual within the area.

As she identified the figures around the buildings, she would see the red outline of another figure, which was—— right in front of her? Well, of course, by right in front of her, the other figure was across from her. With a somewhat mutated arm, she stood on one knee, looking forward towards the Talon agent.

Groaning a bit, Widowmaker aimed towards the hourglass figure; She could barely identify the figure, with the fog in the way, so she had to roll to the side. If she was going to get closer, she'd need to pay attention. Widowmaker knew that the person wasn't looking for her, but she was no doubt who she was supposed to kill.

In moments, Widowmaker dived off of the building, before a grappling hook was fired from out of her hand, gripping onto a streetlight, and allowed the woman to swing through, before launching upwards, sent crashing right through a window with a roll. It wasn't the best thing she could've done, but it was no doubt the fastest thing she'd be able to.

Looking around, she examined the room she crashed into, identifying a staircase that lead upwards. She only needed a singular shot to end this, and detected this to be the perfect route to do so. Hopping forward, she began to walk quickly up the flight of stairs, faster, and faster. She didn't want to be out of breathe, so by the time she got to the roof level, she paused for only a few moments. Readying her rifle, she snuck outside of the doors and back into the rain, allowing her to aim her rifle forward.

Suddenly, as Widowmaker went for a shot, the other figure made a flip upwards, aiming her "mutated" arm towards the other. Now that Widowmaker got a closer look, it seemed as if the arm wasn't directly mutated—— at least, not to the degree she was thinking. Instead, it formed exactly like a standard rifle, and as Widowmaker studied them, the figure raised their hand to their hair, loading something into the rifle.

This stand-off was getting too long, so it was clear Widowmaker had to take the first shot. That much was obvious, anyways.

Advantages and Disadvantages[]

Trivia[]

  • The connections between the two is that they were previously very good people, who were broken by society in a way (Lady Nagant had questioned about her will and being a cog to society, which caused her to hit a breaking point. Alternatively, Widowmaker was kidnapped by Talon, a large terrorist organization focused upon society, and their own hierarchy at the time) which had driven them mad, resulting in them killing someone (Forcing her to her breaking point, Lady Nagant was told to kill two corrupt heroes, which forced her to instead shoot the then-President of the Public Safety Commission. On the other hand, Talon had essentially broken Widowmaker's mind, driving her mad and suppressed her personality, resulting in her killing her husband weeks later due to it). They work as living weaponry that come from change in their bodies (Lady Nagant's quirk makes her arm an entire rifle, whilst Widowmaker was, once taken back in by Talon, formed into a "living weapon", completely changing her body) with notably very serious personalities when it comes to their work (Both are shown to be rather calm when doing so) despite being previously very cheerful people. Despite this, though, while Widowmaker's emotions are nearly completely suppressed, and shows no remorse or empathy for those she kills, whilst Lady Nagant merely hides and keeps back her emotions, due to her previous murder. Notably, with their high skill, they're also very acrobatic, and can use their abilities (Widowmaker's acrobatics, along with her grappling hook, and Lady Nagant's Air Walk, which she can use to levitate in the air) to this advantage, even using their weapons in tandem with it.
