Description[]
Two Rage filled characters with a tragic past of pain and betrayal, using their strong savage tactics to overwhelm the other, but who will do it better? Will Kylo make the cut, or will he get sliced up?
Intro[]
Skunk: Rage is a weapon that most people should be weary of, as it is a tool for disaster most of the time.
Skel: But sometimes it comes in useful when used in the right way.
Skunk: Kylo Ren, Son Of Han Solo & Leader of the First Order.
Skel: And Wolverine, Indestructible Weapon-X From Marvel's X-Men. He's Skunk and I'm Skel!
Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapon, armor and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!
Kylo Ren Goes Solo In Death Battle![]
(Cue Star Wars Main Theme)
Skunk: A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
Skel: Cut that out man, let's just get to it, stop being fancy.
Skunk: Fine, *Sigh* Darth Vader was the servant to Emperor Palatine, ruler of the galactic empire, and did his bidding, no matter what. He started his journey.
Skel: Then when his son was in danger, he decided to betray his master, and throw him off a bridge thing down to another thing where he exploded. This quickly prompted his death and they had some celebratory funeral, the works of star wars.
Skunk: But the story was far from over... 3 movies far in fact...
Skel: The next baddie was a deadly foe known as... "Kylo Ren"
Kylo is shown in various shots
Skunk: Ren was, unknown to most, the son of Han Solo, originally named Ben Solo, until one day, Luke Skywalker, his master, saw the darkness inside Ben, so he decided that to stop that, he would kill Ben, but this didn't work, and Young Ben Solo escaped, and because of this, decided to join the dark side.
Skel: You see I bet if Luke hadn't done that, everything would have been fine.
Skunk: He had became servant to Supreme Leader Snoke, who highly disliked Kylo, but used him anyways, likely to kill Ren after he was no longer needed.
Skel: This tho resulted in a whole song and dance of Ben and Rey, the hero of the last 3 films, fighting for Luke's Light-saber. Kylo had lost to Rey in their last fight of the 1st of the last 3 films, and had to retreat.
Skunk: Kylo returned to Snoke, being a disappointment, being called a child, a poor copy of Vader. Eventually, he had Rey help him kill Snoke, then offered to have her by his side to rule the galaxy.
Skel: She obviously declined and it all went down hill. Then the next Movie Kylo was the new leader, so then he searched all over the galaxy for Rey. After he found Emperor Palps who didn't really die, and we really don't like talking about the last film so let's skip this now, OK?
Skunk: Agreed... Anyways, Kylo is a rather unique force user, trained in both light and dark force powers.
Kylo's Force Powers[]
- Force Freeze
- Can freeze people and items entirely
- Telepathy
- Can read minds
- This causes pain to who he does it to
- Force Healing
- Can heal minor wounds, possibly also reviving a person
- This has only be used on other people from the healer
- Force Bond
- Bound to Rey, and can interact with items in her area when they see each other
- Tutaminis
- Can Channel away energy or dissipate it
- Telekinesis
- Can move objects with his mind
Skel: The force is a massive and super awesome thing that is connected to all in the star wars universe, it allows people strong with it to preform stuff like mind reading, moving stuff with your mind, and even healing others.
Skunk: Now while Kylo has only used a limited amount of these, he likely can do the same as other dark side and light side users of the force.
Skel: He obviously can increase his physical stats with the force, including speed and strength!
Skunk: His powers are great, but his light-saber is rather unique.
Kylo's Light-saber[]
- Red Blade
- Doesn't Expend heat until physical contact with the blade
- Can cut through most things
- Has a cross guard on it
- Has a ragged blade rather than a straight one
Skel: His saber can cut through nearly anything, metal, humans, armor, the works.
Skunk: His one has a cracked kyber crystal, so the blade is ragged and the cross guard is a necessity, as the cracked crystal makes it unstable.
Skel: But still, it won't expend heat unless coming into contact with something, so don't worry about getting hot with it constantly on around you, just worry about accidentally cutting your arm off, or... more important areas... *Shudder*
Skunk: I actually made one of these myself, because it is so interesting *Takes out a saber*
Skel: Oh, I wanna try! *Snatches saber*
Skunk: No be ca-*Robotic leg is cut off by accident*
Skel: Oh... uh... sorry...
Skunk: Ugh, well this all is impressive, Kylo's feats make him far more impressive.
Kylo's Feats[]
- Power is claimed to be immense
- Reacted fast enough to freeze a blaster bolt mid air, as well as Poe
- Survived Chewbacca's bow-caster hitting him
- Killed a Zillo Beast
- Darth Vader couldn't do this
- Killed Han Solo & Supreme Leader Snoke
- Overpowered Rey and could have killed her in their last fight
- With Rey's help, he beat Snoke's guards
- Claimed to be the ideal embodiment of light and dark by Snoke
- Beat The Knights of Ren
- This required Rey to give him her light-saber
Skel: He is fast enough to freeze a blaster bolt mid air, skilled enough to best the Knights of Ren, and according to Snoke, is the ideal embodiment of Light and Dark.
Skunk: He beat Rey in their last fight, which is when she was best trained. His power is claimed to be immense, possibly equal to Vader's, and likely higher. He killed a Zillo Beast, which not even Vader could achieve.
Skel: He's a mean killing machine, but just as we keep saying, he's got downsides.
Kylo's Flaws[]
- Short Temper
- Had a tantrum when told BB-8 escaped
- Lost to Rey in their first fight
- Fights with rage rather than instinct
- This could actually be helpful, as the dark side relies on negative emotions
- Suffers conflict in his mind between light and darkness
Skunk: He has a short temper, lashing out in rage and slashing at whatever is around to do so to.
Skel: He's lost to Rey, while she was still weak with the force, and also is constantly conflicting with the light and dark side.
Skunk: Kylo Ren may be a child in a mask, but he'll do what he must to achieve victory.
Kylo Ren: I know what I must do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it...
Wolverine Let's Out His Inner Animal In Death Battle![]

Skunk: Animal Instinct is something we all have, be it we decide how to survive, or decide what to do when it doesn't matter, but in the end, we always have a choice.
Skel: Most of us... this is not the case for Logan, as he was not given the choice to be made into a weapon or not.
Skunk: Logan was simply a child, but nobody knew this was wrong, as he secretly, was a mutant...
Skel: Yeah, mutant with badass claws!
Logan is shown with bone claws.
Skel: Wait, those aren't the claws we know!
Skunk: Yeah, sadly Logan was caught and experimented on, with a project known as Weapon-X.
Skel: This gave him a badass adamantium skeleton upgrade, including his iconic adamantium claws!
Wolverine is shown cutting people with his claws.
Wolverine's Skeleton & Claws[]
- Coated in Adamantium
- Nearly unbreakable
- Neither Thor or Hulk could put a dent in it
- Survived nukes
- Is magnetic
- Gives increased strength and speed
- Gives stronger hits to impacts
- Claws are 12 Inches long
- Claws are also coated in Adamantium
Skunk: His claws are extremely tough, just like his skeleton, able to survived hits from Hulk and Thor.
Skel: His metal skeleton gives increased strength and speed, not to mention the durability! He's survived nukes with just the skeleton left, and regenerated from that!
Skunk: His overall physic really is connected to his skeleton, as it gives more weight on him, thus more power when hitting something.
Wolverine's Healing Factor[]
- Heals most damage to his body
- Slows his aging
- Gives immunity to various poisons
- Can't become fatigued
Skel: He also has a healing factor, so when his body gets damaged, he heals from it at a fast rate, like in seconds.
Skunk: This also makes him unaffected by poison, and various other illnesses, as well as fatigue, making sure he can fight for days without end.
Skel: It isn't like he needs that tho, cos the skeleton really is the bread, butter, and everything else.
Skunk: Don't focus on that, he has achieved far more than you would know about.
Wolverine's Feats[]
- Survived battling Hulk and other strong characters
- Survived Nukes
- Fought in 5 Wars
- Can survive planet level attacks
- Can also harm people who have survived similar
- Won various battles and stopped countless villains
Skel: He has fought big boys like Hulk and Thanos, who can survived and destroy planets, like damn!
Skunk: He fought in 5 wars, and achieved victory over villains with far more power than him.
Skel: Wolverine is badass, awesome and a killer, but isn't the best, sadly...
Wolverine's Weaknesses[]
- Only his skeleton is covered in adamantium
- Via certain methods, his healing factor can be stopped or cancelled out
- Healing Factor cannot re-grow limbs, but can be re-attached
- Claws cannot cut through everything
- Not entirely unkillable
- Has been beaten by various villains, most notably Magneto, who could manipulate Logan's skeleton
- Old Age has had an effect on his body
- If his brain is removed, he cannot regenerate at all
- In addition, brain damage will leave him with lost memory and is unfix-able (Mostly)
Skunk: His skeleton is not unbreakable, and he has been killed multiple times.
Skel: His win-loss record isn't as intimidating as you would think too, and his skeleton has been manipulated before, leaving him vunrable.
Skunk: He also is vulnerable to drowning or suffocation, but consider the competition he goes against, and you would think twice before fighting his monster of a man.
Wolverine: Don't mess with me bub...
Intermission[]
Skunk: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all!
Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!!!
Fight[]
Location: X-Men Mansion
Kylo Ren is seen landing in a ship with some troopers, exiting and looking at the mansion before him.
Kylo: How poorly made that is... but no matter, this world will be the First Order's...
???: I don't think so bub...
Kylo looks to his side to see Wolverine. He puts his hand to his side.
Kylo: What is it you want?
Wolverine: You're trespassing, and not a student here, so you're gonna leave here before I get angry...
Kylo: You cannot tell me what to do, I will rule this planet soon, you will bow to me!
Wolverine extends his claws out, making Kylo pulls his saber out too, and ignites it in front of him. Both get to fighting positions.
FIGHT!!!
Wolverine dashes forward, but Kylo side steps and slashes his back. Wolverine lunges back, but is then lashed in his chest 3 times, making him fly back and land on his feet. The cut marks heal. Kylo spins his saber around while walking to the side.
Kylo: How interesting, never seen that before...
Wolverine: That's cos I'm special... you're gonna learn that the hard way...
Wolverine lunges and swipes, but Kylo blocks the claws with his saber, and steps back a bit. Kylo force pushes Wolverine backwards, and then grabs him, tossing him into the mansion. Wolverine grunts and adjusts his neck, cracking it into place.
Wolverine: Dammit!
Kylo walks in slowly.
Kylo: This is pointless, give up now and I'll grant a quick death...
Wolverine leaps at Kylo, and slashes his shoulder. Kylo stumbles back but is able to slash at his foe's gut, making intestines spill out. Kylo uses the force to wrap the guts around Wolverine's neck, and makes him hang on a chandler. Wolverine easily cuts his guts and falls down, and quickly heals.
Wolverine: You're gonna regret this fight!
Kylo uses the force to toss 2 doors at Wolverine, but they are cut in half and Kylo is punches hard enough to send him through a wall to the library area. Kylo angrily slams his hand down, making a loud thud. Wolverine jumps in and tosses a table at Kylo, but he quickly gets up and cuts it in half, then tosses the 2 parts back to send Logan flying up. Wolverine then lunges up and dashes past Kylo, cutting his side.
Kylo: You are angering me now you pitiful worm, you won't enjoy this!
Kylo uses the force to pick up Wolverine, then makes him stab himself in the chest. Kylo drops Logan down and looks at the body. Suddenly, Wolverine gets up and has healed. Kylo grunts in frustration.
Kylo: Why do you insist in this? Do you wish for a painful death?
Wolverine: Shut up and fight!
Wolverine dashes and slices at Kylo, but his claws are blocked by Kylo's saber. Kylo then force pushes Wolverine back and makes a chunk of the roof fall on him. Wolverine just breaks the rubble and grits his teeth in anger, having had enough of this.
Wolverine: Ok Emo Lord, now I'm mad!
Wolverine goes into his rage and dashes, rapidly slashing at Kylo. Wolverine finishes, but notices Kylo is still standing.
Wolverine: What is this?
Kylo then jumps from above and slashes Wolverine's body various times, then kicks Wolverine back, making Wolverine feel heavy pain, and is covered in cuts. Kylo then notices a deep cut exposing the skeleton.
Kylo: So, that's what you are...
Kylo then walks up and rapidly slashes, and after a barrage of them, Wolverine is entirely skinned to a skeleton. Kylo then lifts the skeleton up, and then a crack is heard. After a moment, Wolverine's skeleton is entirely torn apart, leaving every single bone separated. Kylo then tosses each bone to different places, scattered around the mansion, to make sure the body is too far away to heal together.
Kylo: I was just getting started... how sad...
Conclusion[]
Skel: Wow, how tear-iffying for Wolverine.
Skunk: This battle was a difficult one, due to how hard it was for Kylo to harm Wolverine, but his powers gave him the edge.
Skel: Remember how both had blades? Kylo's was certainly longer, but Wolverine had more, so Kylo had Quality, while Wolverine had Quantity, in a sense. But Kylo's saber couldn't be destroyed, nor could it destroy Wolverine's Skeleton, as both could cut NEARLY anything, but Kylo's blade is plasma, so cannot be broken, while Wolverine's has harmed people with planet level durability.
Skunk: While Wolverine's healing factor was certainly a strong point Kylo didn't have, it wasn't enough to stop a light-saber strike, but the skeleton is a different story.
Skel: Yeah, the skeleton was coated in planet level surviving metal, so how could Kylo have chance to cause damage when he never has done that?
Skunk: You're forgetting, Wolverine's skeleton is extremely strong, but has been manipulated by the likes of Magneto with the magnetism, which is really similar to Kylo's force powers, allowing telekinesis over things, which means Kylo could do the same, able to manipulate the bones and simply tear apart Wolverine, leaving the healing factor to be useless when his head and rest of his body is separated.
Skel: While Wolverine was fast, lasers are something he's not shown to dodge, and Kylo has stopped those types of things mid-air. Another strong point was rage. While both did have anger bursts, Kylo uses the dark-side, which is powered by negative emotion and feelings, so his powers would increase.
Skunk: The force also gave Kylo the ability to sense Wolverine, meaning they both countered each other, as Wolverine also could sense Kylo. This fight really came down to this question, Did Kylo have means to kill Wolverine, and the answer is yes.
Skel: Kylo's force powers could let him choke Wolverine, electrocute him and entirely pause him, allowing time to think up a strategy, and Wolverine has no counters to a power like this, leaving his fate clear and cut.
Skunk: While Wolverine held a healing factor and an upper-hand in strength and durability, Kylo Ren's Speed, Leadership, better rage control, and perfect counter in the force gave him this victory.
Skel: How a Skele-ton of fun!
Skunk: The winner is Kylo Ren!
