Interlude[]

Mortician: Being immature and selfish is not a way of being a hero.

Redshock: With the weight of the world falling on your shoulders it’s better to be the hero the people not want but the one they need.

Mortician: Like Korra, Republic City's Avatar of Legend

Redshock: And Delsin Rowe, the InFAMOUS Second Son conduit.

Korra[]

Mortician: After the death of Avatar Aang, a new Avatar was born to bring balance to the world. And it came in the form of a young Water Tribe girl named Korra

Redshock: When Korra was 4, she could already use Firebending, Waterbending and Earthbending, just Four Years Old! I’d hate to piss off that toddler.

Mortician: Korra would train with the Order of the White Lotus, it was here that she was declared the newest Avatar.

Redshock: Unfortunately, being an Avatar also meant that enemies were aware and were trying to capture Korra. To keep her safe Tonraq and Tenzin isolated Korra from the public and into the Southern Water Tribe so she can master all four elements without having to worry about being attacked.

Mortician: But Korra was stubborn and so fled the Water Tribe and traveled to Republic City, but it didn't go exactly as planned, being arrested by Lin Beifong on her first day and the Mayor blaming every problem on her.

Redshock: Is being the Avatar also getting blamed for everyone’s problems cause that seems stressful enough. Anyway being the badass Avatar, Korra could wield the four primary elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air.

Mortician: With Waterbending Korra can conjure up water whips, heal people, summon giant waves and create walls of ice.

Redshock: With Earthbending, Korra can make giant walls of stone and earth, throw huge chunks of rock as projectiles and after her training from Suyin Beifong, she learned an advanced Earthbending technique called Metalbending, which allows her to control metal with ease.

Mortician: With Firebending, Korra can launch massive fireballs, propel herself into the air, breath fire and so many more which goes perfect with her hot headed temper.

Redshock: And lastly her toughest Element to Master Airbending.

Mortician: Korra wasn't able to properly use Airbending due to her stubborn clashing with its innate nature. But after fighting the Bloodbending menace Amon, Korra is able to create blasts of air with punch and kick movements that are strong enough to send people yards away, create an air ball to ride on, and glide like her previous incarnation Aang.

Redshock: Along with being skilled in hand to hand combat, Korra has learned one more bending: Energybending. With it, Korra has the ability to deflect energy based projectiles and can restore people's bending as well as removing them which is awesome dibs on Firebending!

Mortician: Being the Avatar she can tap into the Avatar State where Korra's strength and bending abilities increase dramatically and is able to use the abilities of other Avatars in the past.

Redshock: Korra has proven time and time again why she's worthy of being an Avatar. She's able to beat the Bloodbender Amon with her bending being taken, defeated UnaVaatu and reunited with Raava, and has blocked Spirit energy Cannon from the Colossus in the Avatar State.

Mortician: And being a reincarnation of the Avatar, Korra should be comparable to other previous Avatars like Kiyoshi who once broke a continent off which would've required 21 Gigatons of TNT. She also scales to Aang who raised +35 Million Metric Tons of Water.

Redshock: Korra sounds unstoppable but that being said Korra isn’t perfect. She had suffered a lot of PTSD from Amon, Unalaaq and the Red Lotus.

Mortician: Korra is also hot headed which causes her to take action without formulating a plan. Also, unlike Firebending and Airbending which she can use whenever she wants, Korra needs a nearby source to be able to use the other elements like a pond or ocean for Water, and rocks and dirt for Earth.

Redshock: Still, you can always count on Avatar Korra to step up and protect the people no matter who she’s fighting.

Korra: “Even Though We Should Learn From Those Who Came Before Us, We Must Also Forge Our Own Path”.

Delsin Rowe[]

Mortician: Born to the Akomish Tribe, Delsin Rowe occupied his free time as a street artist, and his uncontainable penchant for free expression was the perfect combination of his rebellious attitude and favors anti-authoritarian street art.

Redshock: Unfortunately, Delsin's tendency to tag buildings with graffiti irritates and embarrasses his brother, Reggie who is a police officer. And is often forced to arrest his little brother constantly.

Mortician: But everything changed when Delsin witnessed a military truck crash, in which three conduits, Hank Daughtry, Abigail Walker and Eugene Sims were held.

Redshock: While trying to stop one of the conduits, Hank, Delsin accidentally absorbed some of his powers which was then Delsin realized he too was a conduit.

Mortician: So to help stop the runaway Conduits, Delsin and Reggie set out to find the other conduits while finding a cure for the concrete daggers that Brooke Augustine injured the Akomish Tribe with.

Redshock: Conduits are like real life superheroes whose genes give them enhanced physical abilities such as speed, strength and durability. It also grants them a healing factor and superhuman powers ranging from manipulating energy, flight, electricity, and so many more.

Mortician: But in Delsin’s case he hit the conduit jackpot he can use four elements of his world; Smoke, Video, and Neon and Concrete which he absorbed from other Conduits.

Redshock: Smoke allows Delsin to use fire and air based abilities. He can turn into clouds of smoke that makes him intangible, glide through the air and go through into tight surfaces. Orbital Drop, the Smoke Karma Bomb, is where he flies into near orbit.

Mortician: Video allows Delsin to use digital projectiles and needs to travel fast. He can also turn invisible to sneak up on enemies and convert them into energy. The Video Karma Bomb, Hellfire Swarm, allows Delsin to summon thousand of angels or demons at his will like an army and bring them down on his opponents

Redshock: Neon is where Delsin can deliver powerful attacks as it specializes in speed and power. Delsin can move at faster than light speed with this ability and can fire immensely powerful shots at a distance. He can also convert people into energy and vaporize them. Radiant Sweep, Karma Bomb of Neon, allows Delsin to explode into a neon vortex until a large supply of the gas swirls to reform Delsin and makes him as light as the substance. When enemies are raised into Stasis Bubbles, he releases the Karma-empowered Neon into twin gatling gun-like shots which will either subdue or obliterate his enemies.

Mortician: Last is Concrete.. He can fire concrete shards, levitate for the ground, encase himself in concrete to bash enemies with it and reduce damage taken by 20% with Strength of Granite.

Redshock: For a small town delinquent, Delsin has accomplished a lot for a newbie Conduit. He's able to defeat skilled and more experienced DUP soldiers and conduits, who are specially trained to take down powerful Conduits.

Mortician: During his big fight with Augustine, Delsin destroyed her fortress with a single Orbital Drop. And beat her with her own power which makes this impressive is that he only just got his Concrete in the final battle whereas Augustine had 7 years of experience with it. And Delsin only had Concrete for a few minutes.

Redshock: Deslin may seem strong but he isn’t flawless, he lacks any defensive capabilities preferring to go on the more offensive route. And he has been known to get cocky which leads him to underestimating his opponents a lot.

Mortician: He also can't use any power he got right off the bat, he needs time to adjust and adapt to said power. But his biggest weakness is ironically his copying power. He can only use one power at a time and must absorb another if he wants to use it.

Redshock: But Deslin is not to be underestimated and this badass conduit catcher proves that he can take on anyone who disrupts the peace in his hometown.

Deslin: “Okay, I got this whole thing figured out. We hit the town, then maybe swing by the Space Needle - always wanted to see it - and then we're back home to save some lives”.

DEATH BATTLE![]

During the day in Republic City, Avatar Korra rides her polar bear dog Naga on the road looking for someone to punch.

But her patrolling is stopped when a large explosion of a nearby building’s roof explodes. She gets off of Naga and says “go get help I’ll check this out”. As Naga ran away Korra used her Airbending to fly to the building.

She sees Delsin spray painting on another building across from the destroyed one, while spraying his graffiti Korra yells “Hey punk, did you do this?!”. Delsin saw Korra “maybe, maybe not who's asking?”. Korra puts her hands on her hips to get serious and says “The Avatar duh, if you did then you're under arrest either you come with me peacefully…”, cracks her knuckles “or we do this the hard way”.

Delsin dropped his spray can and said “you know I’ve been getting bored of this city, time for some excitement”.

Fight!

Korra Earthbends a large rock across Delsin, Delsin whips out his chain breaking the rock but Korra Airbend herself behind the rock and Delsin meets Korra’s fist.

Delsin falls to the ground a few feet from Korra and gets back up and absorbs nearby Concrete and starts shooting concrete shards at Korra. But she Earthbends a large stone pillar blocking all the Concrete Daggers.

Korra then shoots a fireball towards Delsin but he jumps over it and Korra uses the Air around Delsin to slam him to the ground and through the building. Korra watches as Delsin runs out of the building brushing off the debris and says “What kind of Conduit are you?”. Korra says “The Avatar kind”. And summons a water whip from a nearby puddle and wraps it around Delsin and flings him to a wall where one of his graffiti was sprayed.

Delsins gets up and sees Korra’s water had washed away his art “are you serious?!”. Korra jumps to the ground and fights Hand to Hand with Delsin. She starts by hitting him with a left hook, kicks his right leg from under him and pushes him away with her Airbending. But Delsin catches himself and uses Smoke to become intangible and rushes at Korra.

Korra goes to another punch but her fist phases through Delsin’s Smoke, and Delsin turns back to his human form and brings out his chain again and begins whipping it at the Avatar, after a couple hits, Korra then used another air blast and Delsin’s Smoke was gone. She used Waterbending to project a stream of water through a fire hydrant and freezes Delsin.

But Delsin breaks free from it as he turns his body to Smoke and rushes at Korra, he manages to catch her and throw her into a wall. As she gets up, Delsin absorbs digital video from a television shop nearby and creates digital wings and flies in the air.

Delsin flies towards Korra picking her up and slamming her through several buildings, and through her in the air. Korra then fires another fireball at Delsin who he dodges as Korra flies to a nearby building to break her fall. She gets back up and fires several fireballs from her mouth at Delsin when his wings disappear, she misses most of them but the last two hit Delsin square in the chest.

Thinking she won she dropped down as Delsin’s healing factor was healing his burns. Korra runs at Delsin with a flying kick but she misses as Delsin flies in the air to do an Orbital Drop. Delsin slams into the ground creating a huge explosion that shattered windows and with rock, smoke and fire spread everywhere.

Delsin got up and smiled at his victory but saw Korra through the smoke and her eyes glowed blue as she entered the Avatar State. As the smoke clears Korra sends a huge beam of all four elements straight into Delsin. Delsin flew backwards into another building that was unharmed by Delsin’s Orbital Drop.

But Delsin survived her attack, Delsin jumped out of the building covering his body in a pink aura as his almost fatal wound healed itself. “Time to stop playing around”. Korra grins “agreed”. The two clashed with their forearms, Korra threw several punches and a kick but Delsin dodged them all as he counterattacked with a side kick and an uppercut.

Delsin’s attack had stunned Korra enough to fire a Neon Beam from his hands. Korra was getting worn down as his last attack had left a large bruise on her stomach that began to bleed. She summons another large Earth pillar but after another attack with a Neon Beam it proved nothing as Korra dropped to the floor in pain and exhaustion.

Korra stood back up not standing down, she fired two airblasts and a kick that sent a whip of flames. He dodged all 3 attacks and unleashes the Neon Karma Bomb; Radiant Sweep. He released twin gatling-gun shots as they struck Korra with energy bullets. She screamed in pain as she could not take too much.

After the Radiant Sweep, Korra’s body was entirely bloody and bruised as she still stood. So Delsin quickly ended the fight by wrapping his chain around her throat and using his Neon to transfer it through his chain and as it wrapped around Korra’s throat, eyes, and mouth and her head exploded.

Delsin said to Korra’s headless corpse “I’m sorry it had to be this way, if things were different I’d ask for your number”. Delsin turned his body into Smoke and escaped the absolute wreckage he caused to several Republic City’s property through one of the air vents.

KO!

Conclusion[]

Redshock: Damn! That’s a bad way to go

Mortician: This fight was one of the closest we’ve researched, Korra had the advantage in hand-to-hand combat thanks to her years of training and she could simultaneously use all four powers at once, whereas Delsin is forced to switch one his element’s at a time.

Redshock: And between their Bending and Conduit Powers they both have their one flaws and advantages. Delsin can't absorb any of Korra's powers while Korra is unable to take away Delsin's Conduit Abilities with Energybending.

Mortician: While Korra spent most of her time training and hiding in secret, Delsin has fought and defeated Conduits who had more years of experience with their respective powers such as Abigail Walker and Brook Augustine.

Redshock: While both elemental masters are very strong in their own rights, Korra definitely had advantages over Delsin. But in the end, Delsin's Speed, Haxes and Power are enough to stop the Avatar.

Mortician: Looks like Delsin proved that the Avatar isn’t so InFamous as she seemed to be, the winner is Delsin Rowe.
