Godzilla millenium vs voltron, both these fighters have taken on and defeated the megazord but which one will emerge the victor in this clash of unstoppable metal mech's, its time for strategy to face brute force and see which one has enough to put the other one down.

Wiz: robots, the future of enhanced cybernetics, destined to lead the charge with humanity into the future, designed with the purpose to usher in peace, production...
Boomstick: and beating the everloving crap out of other giant robots for the pleasure and fun of the people watching it, thats my favorite reason, like with kiryu, the japanse engineered metal behemoth that brought down the king of the monsters.
Wiz: and voltron, the defender of the universe piloted by the five paladins.
Boomstick: he's wiz and i'm boomstick:
Wiz: and its our job to analyze their weapons armour and skills to find out who would win a death battle.
Kiryu aka Mechagodzilla []
Wiz: godzilla, you know who he is the unstoppable radioactive monster and destroyer of japan, for over 60 years godzilla ravaged and crushed his way through the country, unstoppable. killing thousands of innocent people with his only seeming goal being total destruction
Boomstick: until japan made this handy dandy thing called the oxygen destroyer, a nuke capable of taking out even the mighty godzilla, and it worked!
Wiz: japan reveled in their success and victory over the giant monster, the public began rebuilding, godzilla's body was disposed of and everything was perfect, except for the fact that after godzilla several other giant monsters began attacking japan because they were looking for godzilla. and than another godzilla showed up, killed those monsters and continued with the original's plan of just flattening everything in sight.
Boomstick: maybe should have thought about the other giant monsters in the world that only godzilla could kill before you kill him.
Wiz: after several years of attempting to repel attacks from these monstrous beasts to no avail japan had had enough and wanted these things dead, so the country and the Japanese government turned to the JXSDF for idea's, and they found one.
Boomstick: wait the what?
Wiz: the JXSDF stands for Japanese xenomorph self defense system, a special branch of the Japanese government dedicated to protecting both japan and the world from otherworldly threats.
Boomstick: oh i get it they're like the people who made the robots in pacific rim only they make robot monsters and they're all Japanese.
Wiz: pretty much.
Boomstick: after being tasked with creating something powerful enough to take down a creature like godzilla, they took all the years of study, research and experience from prior wars and battles, and dumped it all into the trash, then they got to work building a machine so powerful and downright awesome, no monster would ever be able to take it down. MechaGodzilla!!!
Wiz: well technically kiryu, which is his real name isn't a complete machine, he's a cyborg made using the skeleton of the original godzilla killed by the oxygen destroyer after the original godzilla remains were retrieved from the bottom of the Japanese bay.
Boomstick: wait I thought you said that the dead body of godzilla was disposed of, as in destroyed.
Wiz: they lied.
Boomstick: what are you talking about the government never lies,
Wiz: you have a lot to learn.
Boomstick: well cyborg or not mechagodzilla is still a badass through and through, he's one of the most deadly fighters in the godzilla universe. after all that's why he's named kiryu, because it means badass metal monster.
Wiz: technically kiryu translates from Japanese to metal dragon not monster.
Boomstick: wait why would he be called that? he's not a dragon.
Wiz: i guess japan didn't have a word for metal giant radioactive lizard.
Boomstick: fair enough, kiryu stands 60 meters stall and weighs 40,000 tons, surprisingly he's actually a lot less heavier than the real godzilla, what's up with that, i thought they used the real godzilla to make him didn't they?
Wiz: well they did but not much of godzilla was left after that, only the skeleton and synthetic organs made by the JSXDF to keep him alive.
Boomstick: well aside from his lack of weight kiryu is reinforced with the toughest metal on earth, let me guess gundanium? godzillaium?!
Wiz: actually surprisingly it has never been speculated what kiryu is exactly made of, in theory it could be anything from something found on earth to something found in space and simply adopted onto kiryu to toughen in more so than earth metal would.
Boomstick: well whatever it is, it is hella strong, kiryu's armour is by far the toughest in the godzilla universe, he's taken hits from king gidorah, rodan and even managed to tank blasts from godzilla's atomic breath.
Wiz: even when godzilla powers the atomic breath to its fullest extent, the red spiral ray it's barely maneged to penetrate kiryu's armour.
Boomstick: while armour is all fun and games what really makes a giant robot is the size of his guns, and kiryu has a shitload of them. he's got twin laser cannons located on each arm which are useful for penetrating tough armor with no problem, he has two shoulder mounted rocket launchers which can fire up to 6 rockets in the front and then 8 heat seekers from the back, and each rocket launcher doubles as a rocket as powerful as an atomic warhead. and he can shoot wires out from port's on his neck, perfect for when an enemy's in close and you don't want them punching you in the face.
Wiz: kiryu also has large wrist mounted blades on his arm's that can conduct electricity so powerful it can harm godzilla who can normally absorb electric shocks, and just like the rocket launchers the blades can be shot out at attackers far away.
Boomstick: what's with all his weapon holders being weapons themselves, can he like take his tail off and use it as a whip or something?
Wiz: well he can't detach it but his tail does double as a weapon, with a mere swing of it kiryu can knock any opponent flat on the ground even if they weight several thousand tons, he's even managed to knock rodan out of the sky with it, who can fly at hypersonic speeds.
Boomstick: not only was kiryu uploaded with enough weapons, armour and tech to decimate whole armies, the JXSDF also outfitted metal man with some awesome software, kiryu's systems are some of the most advanced in the world, which shouldn't be surprising because he came from japan, and they've got all the fancy shit.
Wiz: Kiryu's advanced security systems come with the standard set of tech that any superior computer system has, the system is protected by thousands of layers of firewall to prevent hacking, it can scan terrain and danger in an area, but the real beauty is the targeting system. not only can Kiryu's targeting system lock onto objects moving at blinding speeds it can also instantly scan an opponent to reveal everything about them, who the combatant is, who made it, weapons destructive capability and weakness's, kiryu's targeting system can analyze any tiny flaw in an opponent or weak spot, like when he found out one of godzilla's dorsal fins increases swimming speed and tore it straight off him.
Boomstick: Japan also uploaded some awesome fighting styles into his systems, while he normally goes with godzilla's standard thrash and bash fighting style, he somehow has experince in boxing, judo, tatojutsu, kenpo, aikido, jujitsu, Iaido, and kyokushin.
Wiz: seriously did they even think about what they were uploading into his systems, i mean for one Iaido is japanese sword fighting, he doesn't even have a sword .
Boomstick: Maybe they did it so if he's ever fighting an opponent who has a sword he could get it from them and would know how to use it.
Wiz: are you serious? that is so, actually that's a fairly smart idea, i rest my case japan, moving on in the years that followed after Kiryu was completed, japan prospered and rejoiced once more, every time a massive monster showed up off the coast, which seems to happen every week in japan, kiryu was sent into action and successfully warded off every attack.
Boomstick: things were really starting to look up for japan, until big G showed up and kinda screwed everything over.
Wiz: After being sent into action kiryu and his pilot were determined to take down godzilla, this is what they had been built and trained for, after a while of fighting kiryu had nearly overpowered godzilla and was set to take the win, until godzilla screamed out in pain. see as it turns out when they rebuilt kiryu using the skeleton of the original godzilla, the soul of godzilla had survived which merged into the machine, when godzilla roars out in pain, kiryu recalls all his memories before he was killed and becomes enraged.
Boomstick: normal kiryu cares about the people around him and makes sure not to hurt anyone because its in his programming, but when the original takes over, he goes into form of anger only described as berserker rage, where all he cares about is destroying anything he can get his hands on, including godzilla, and everything around him.
Wiz: while originally seen as a downside, after some re-programming with the JXSDF, they added enhanced control while in this mode, in this state while its true kiryu overrides any manual controls, it allows him to fight to the best of his abilities going beyond the limits of what his robotic body can do.
Boomstick: the berserker rage isn't the only thing that makes Kiryu even tougher, if he's mid fight and needs an extra power boost, kiryu can summon the Garuda, a handy spaceship that orbits around the earth if ever needed, with his little beaut Kiryu can attach it to his back which transforms him into super kiryu.
Wiz: super kiryu allows the Garuda to enhance Kiryu's speed and strength, it can boost kiryu's speed to mach 5 and he gains the duel shoulder mounted laser cannons, these two massive cannons can fire laser blasts so powerful they can slice through virtually anything, and the Garuda also functions as a battery for kiryu, which brings us to his greatest downside, his power source.
Boomstick: Kiryu's got a lot of weapons, too many in fact, with all his weapons comes a lot of power use so Kiryu has to rely on remaining as power saving as possible while mid fight, his power only lasts for several hours and once he's depleted he powers down for good and is basically helpless.
Wiz: and it doesn't help that his ultimate weapon uses 40% of his overall power, when building him japan knew they needed to make a weapon that could win a fight in an instant, a weapon that could completely eradicate any opponent, the absolute zero cannon.
Boomstick: just look at that thing, its beautiful, the cannon fires off a gigantic blast of ice energy that upon impact, freezes a target lowering their temperature to absolute zero, after getting hit the opponent is then so cold that they collapse upon their own weight.
Wiz: Absolute zero is the lowest possible temperature where nothing could be colder and no heat energy remains in a substance. ... By international agreement, Absolute is defined as precisely 0 K on the Kelvin scale, which is a thermodynamic Absolute temperature scale; and –273.15 degrees Celsius on the Celsius scale. at this temperature any living thing within kiryus sight would be pulverized, no skin, mechanics or robotics could survive this.
Boomstick: after this little skirmish with the soul of the old godzilla and some good old fashioned mayhem and destruction, Kiryu was fully prepared and ready to take the new godzilla out for a spin.
Wiz: the two colossal behemoths fought for hours and their fight destroyed miles upon miles of land, in the end kiryu was triumphant and stood over the beaten and broken godzilla, preparing to end the king of the monsters life once and for all, until his power ran out. with his energy drained kiryu was unable to land the fatal blow and godzilla retreated back into the ocean to heal.
Boomstick: still any robot that can kick the shit out of godzilla and live to see another day is a goddamn beast, kiryu's taken on more than a dozen threats to the earth and every single time he's kicked some serious ass. he's managed to knock rodan on his ass with a swing of his tail, kill planet busters like space godzilla and destroyah. he's curbstomped baragon and even fought on par with king ghidorah and gigan, monsters that require at least three or four other giant monsters to put them down.
Wiz: and he's no slouch when it comes to brute strength too, in his fight with the king of the monsters kiryu picked godzilla up by his tail and threw him around like a ragdoll, keep in mind that godzilla weighs 90,000 tons and he was able to lift him with no effort whatsoever.
Boomstick: just goes to show if you need any problem solved, don't call 911, call goddamn Mechagodzilla!!
Voltron[]
Wiz: 1200 years ago far off in the distance reaches of the universe a great evil rose up to conquer the universe.
Boomstick: why are you trying to make it so dramatic? this happens in like every single sci fi story ever made.
Wiz: the Drul empire, one of the most powerful and merciless empire in the known universe sought to become the rulers everything.
Boomstick: and they were well equipped to do it, the Drul empire had one of the largest and most powerful armies ever created, everything from tanks and foot soldiers to giant space cruisers and orbiting satellite guns powerful enough to decimate entire worlds with one shot.
Wiz: after several decades of fighting, the rest of the universe realized that they simply didn't have the might or power necessary to stop the onslaught of Drul and to stop them.
Boomstick: so after they figured out numbers couldn't stop these things they turned to a group of scientists and magical priests to find a way to stop them, and eventually they did.
Wiz: after finding a way to combine technology and magic, they got to work building a new fighting machine that would put all other creations of science to shame, the result was a 300 foot massive robot knight with the power to stop the Drul empire and return the universe to peace, Voltron.
Boomstick: and boy oh boy did this thing come through, in just a small amount of time Voltron's skills and firepower were enough to nearly wipe out the entire Drul army, and he probably would have. if not for a little complication along the way.
Wiz: realizing he was on the brink of defeat the king of the Drul empire ordered one of his chief soldiers, who also happened to have magic powers, to destroy Voltron with an ancient spell.
Boomstick: well, not really, i mean he did manage to take Voltron down but the spell didn't actually kill him. rather it split his limbs and body into 5 separate pieces that then formed 5 lion robots that could be piloted from the inside, huh pretty convenient.
Wiz: and these 5 lion robots then crash landed on a remote planet and remained there for several thousand years.
Boomstick: hey Wiz what the hell happened to the Drul empire after that, i mean since Voltron wasn't around to completely eradicate them for good what happened to them.
Wiz: i don't really know, most likely after Voltron took out the majority of their troops and ships and decimated the frontline, they were in too much disarray and the rest of the universe's combined army managed to take them out for good.
Boomstick: well whatever happened to them we can be sure to say that their mission failed, and after a those several thousand years were up the lions were discovered by five humans known as paladins, after meeting up with a the space princess Alurra she showed them where to locate the lions and revealed to them that they were destined to protect the universe by forming Voltron.
Wiz: Keith is the leader of the team, a graduate from a space colony used to protect the earth from threats,regarded as the best pilot in the alliance he is a natural born leader and a well trained fighter, he pilots the black lion, which forms the literal head of Voltron, which controls the majority of it's weaponry.
Boomstick: then there's Lance, hot headed and with one hell of a temper, this guy is like the Raphael of Voltron, constantly butting heads with Keith over every single battle plan and idea, hell he was nearly expelled from the space academy for his temper alone, he pilots the red lion, the most temperamental and unstable of the bunch, this thing will just as soon help you as it'll dump you out and leave you if you insult it, and it forms the right arm of Voltron.
Wiz: Piloting the yellow lion, as the left leg of Voltron is Tsuyoshi Garret, better known as Hunk,as the muscle of the group Hunk's lion specializes in strength and durability allowing it to take an insane amount of abuse from laser fire and missiles at the expense of being the slowest of the lions, even without his lion Hunk on his own is a world class demoliton expert and is strong enough to bend steel prison bars with his bare hands.
Boomstick: and the blue lion is piloted by Sven Holgersson, until he got stabbed to death in a one on one duel with a scimatar, with the original pilot now dead the princess Alurra stepped up to become the blue lion's pilot, despite the fact that she hadn't been trained, and she can somehow telepathically talk to mice, ok this is just getting weird now.
Wiz: Last but not last is Darrel stoker, otherwise known as Pidge, as the youngest member of the team he is by far one of the smartest and his understanding of advanced weapons and technology far surpass his fellow teammates, he pilots the green lion which forms Voltrons left arm and has been slightly upgraded via Pidge's own design.
Boomstick: hang on wiz, I'm starting to see a pattern here, fearless leader who always does what's right and struggles to keep the others in line, red cocky as hell and temperamental teammate always second guessing the leader, total cyber genius and tinkerer who also is a bit crazy and lacks social skills, yellow always hungry and really dumb teammate. forget the bigger anime style ripoff of transformers, this is a giant robot version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Wiz: ok that's a bit far out there but back to the Team, once all five lions and pilots join together, they can form once again the most powerful warrior to ever roam the universe. Voltron.
Boomstick: Voltron's got a huge arsenal of weapons and powers to keep back the forces of evil in the universe, mostly centered around long range fighting since fighting in really close quarters like punching and kicking would probably make everyone inside the heads of Voltron puke constantly, hey Wiz, you ever notice how Voltron doesn't actually have fingers, he just clamps onto stuff in the lion's mouths.
Wiz:huh, never noticed that before, i thought the fingers came out once the lions formed, but besides his fingers Voltron's arsenal is perfect for dispatching monsters of all sizes.
Boomstick: it can shoot out homing missiles, laser blasts and even pillars of flame from the lion's mouths, and can even shoot out the heads from which can be used like a giant flying battering ram. it can fire ion dart's to stun and disorient targets and fire the electro force cross attack straight from it's chest.
Wiz: and when long range isn't quite cutting it Voltron can summon some of it's most powerful weapons out of thin air from it's palms, these include spinning laser blades which can be hurled from long range, Javelins strong enough to pierce through almost any metal or Armour and even nun-chucks, which can knock over monsters weighing several thousand tons.
Boomstick: but when big V wants to get really serious it busts out the ultimate solution to any giant monster in it's path, the Blazing Sword. this giant ass sword can cut through pretty much everything, be used as a battery by touching it to keep Voltron's energy up and dish out the star fire attack, which fires off a giant star slice beam that can tear through any foe like wet paper and even creates a goddamn tornado.
Wiz: Voltron is insanely powerful and destructive, with one slice it can cut through a massive satellite much bigger than itself and tank explosions and destructive forces enough to obliterate entire countries.
Boomstick: it even survived landing on the Omega Comet, a giant rock body out in space so frigging dense it has the gravitational force of a black hole, you know those things that not even light can escape from.
Wiz: i should also note that according to Steven Hawking's own calculations on the power of Black holes that on average they can output destructive energy equivalent to 765 Billion Megatons of TNT, that's about 46,510,214 times more powerful than the combined might of every nuclear bomb ever detonated on earth.
Boomstick: and Voltron was able to power right through it, sure it got a bit messed up doing it but when you can survive something so powerful even Stephen Hawking has confirmed is pretty fucking dangerous you know you have what it takes to survive.
Wiz: Physically Voltron is capable of flying between entire galaxies in a matter of hours, moving at speeds faster than light itself, over 670,000,000 mph.
Boomstick: Voltron is strong enough to lift and kick a mutated bulldozer weighing 3,900 tons, straight into outer space, and it's just as capable of duking it out with monsters and robots as overpowered as itself.
Wiz: unfortunately for all it's amazing and incredible powers Voltron has it's limits, it's combat record may mostly be in it's favor but it has had it's fair share of defeats, like when it was taken down by several smaller robots at once and getting it's chest piece cut open by a giant alien mech's axe, also there's a good reason Voltron keeps his distance in a fight. not only does it possess almost no martial art or fighting hand to hand skills, but if the release joints plates on it's joints are struck in combat, it will lose entire limbs from it's body.
Boomstick: but even with it's downsides Voltron and it's pilots have more than earned their titles as the true defenders of the universe, and whenever there's evil to be fought you can count on them.
Interlude []
Wiz: alright the combatants are set let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a death battle!!!!
Death Battle[]
the Voltron lions flew through the air and down into a large opening in a canyon, Keith's black lion headed up the rest and walked forward.
Keith: alright team, spread out and start to look for trouble, all reports from this sector have had monster and giant robot sightings.
Hunk: uhh, hey Keith, I'm picking up a strange signal a few klicks away, coming fast.
Keith: what is it, one of Zarkons?
Hunk: i don't know, but it's big, like as big as us.
farther away from the canyon Kiryu was flying through the air and landed inside the canyon, Kiryu's pilot looked over the sensors inside the cockpit.
Kiryu pilot: this is Kiryu pilot 32# reporting in, no sign of any immediate threats, boosting power to the sensors.
Kiryu's pilot tapped a button on the center control console, power began to be sent to the Sensors, suddenly a sensor went off inside and a red light flashed.
Kiryu pilot: hold on, picking something up, 5 vehicles approaching.
Kiryu began to walk towards the source of the signal, as it turned around a massive rock formation it came face to face with the lions, the two behemoths stood confused looking at each other.
Pidge: Keith look, a giant robot, this must be one of those monsters we picked up earlier.
Kiryu pilot: what in the hell are those things? some kind of robot cats.
Keith: Form Voltron!!!
the five lions took to the skies and began to form Voltron.
Keith: Form feet and legs, form arms and body, and i'll form the head.
Voltron came back to the ground making a large burst of wind, Voltron assumed a combat pose.
Kiryu pilot: whatever that thing is, it's not friendly, all right big guy it's time to bag our first kill for the day.
Kiryu roared out and got into position to fight.
FIGHT!!!
Voltron charged it's boosters and charged in fast at Kiryu, going in too fast for Kiryu to react Voltron landed a blow with it's fists straight into Kiryu's chest plate but it had no effect, Voltron continued pummeling Kiryu with it's fists but it wasn't denting his Armour, Voltron brought it's feet boosters up and attempted to get away, but Kiryu reacted quick enough to grab Voltron's right leg, he started rotating his top half at high speed and threw Voltron straight into the canyon's wall making a massive impact.
Kiryu activated his feet boosters and charged at Voltron but it managed to get up into the air thanks to it's flight.
Keith: alright guys time to get serious, form spinning laser blades.
Voltron began to form it's laser blades and sent them flying towards Kiryu, Kiryu's pilot saw this coming.
Kiryu pilot: engage defense protocols.
Kiryu began to attempt to knock the laser blades out of their path before reaching it, Kiryu dodged the majority of the blades but several of them hit and did considerable damage to it.
Kiryu pilot: Engage weapons systems, arm maser cannons.
Kiryu's maser cannons came out of his arms and began to warm up. he began firing at Voltron who attempted to dodge the shots by flying through the air, Voltron dodged most of the shots but was hit by a few. Kiryu fired several rapid bursts and flew into the air to fight Voltron.
Voltron fired it's head lasers at Kiryu who absorbed the shots and whipped out it's electro gauntlets.going in close he grabbed onto Voltron and activated the claws, Voltron was electrocuted extremely and fell down into the earth making a massive crater.
Voltron stood back up as Kiryu came back down to the ground and shot it's electric claws at Voltron, Voltron got out of the way of the claws and stood ready to fight again.
Keith: alright team, let's try this, form Blazing Sword!
Voltron clasped it's hands together and formed the blazing sword, Kiryu saw the sword and looked up at the rock formation, using his laser cannons Kiryu cut a massive portion out of the rock and pulled a massive boulder out of the rocks holding it over his head.
Hunk: this can't be good.
Kiryu pilot: Heave Ho!!!
Kiryu threw the boulder over his head at Voltron who used the blazing sword to cut it clean in half, the two halves of the boulder tumbled to the ground, Voltron used it's blinding speed to charge at Kiryu and cut it several times with the blazing sword, it continued pummeling it with the sword, Kiryu's pilot looked over his control console and pressed a button, Kiryu's hand grabbed hold of the Blazing sword and stopped Voltron in it's tracks, it raised it's other hand and morphed it into a drill, Kiryu attempted to drill through Voltron but it managed to break free just in time.
Kiryu pilot: Computer, what's the damage report.
Kiryu Computer: 15% of damage to the internal systems, electric gauntlets and maser cannons offline, Kiryu operating at 83% of full power, recommend a fallback plan.
Kiryu: reroute 25% of power to all other weapons systems, bring in the Garuda.
up in space the Garuda began to fly towards the group, it flew through the air and zoomed past Voltron, landing on Kiryus back, the shoulder mounted laser cannons came out and kiryu roared at Voltron.
Keith: Form Energy Lance!
Voltron summoned it's twin energy lances and hurled them at Kiryu, the Javelins struck Kiryu inflicting more damage on him, Kiryu lowered it's Shoulder cannons and fired at Voltron landing several shots on it, Voltron fired it's stun darts at Kiryu, the darts collided with Kiryu's armour and locked it in place.
Kiryu pilot: what the hell, we're stuck, I can't move us.
Voltron grabbed it's Blazing sword again and held it tight, flying behind Kiryu it moved in and cut the Shoulder cannons off before slicing the Garuda clean in half, the remains of the ship tumbled to the ground and Kiryu stopped receiving power from it.
Kiryu pilot: they cut off the Garuda, we can't last much longer.
Voltron flew back down in front of the frozen metal monster and primed it's weapons.
Keith: Alright team, time to wrap this one up.
Hunk: how? none of our weapons are penetrating it' Armour.
Keith: then give it everything we've got!
Voltron began firing every single one of it's weapons at Kiryu, it slowly walked towards kiryu while still firing, Kiryu's computer systems began to overload from the incoming barrage of attacks.
Kiryu computer: Pilot, enemy scan complete, possible weakness identified.
Kiryu pilot: what weakness, bring up data.
Kiryu computer: Target's limbs have a structural inconvenience, if the joints are struck hard enough, the entire limb will go with it.
Kiryu Pilot: alright time to get out of this frozen mode.
Kiryu strained it's parts and after some struggling finally managed to break free up the stun darts, as Voltron continued to get closer Kiryu readied it's tail at the back and waited, a few feet later it swung it's tail around and whacked Voltron's Right leg with tremendous force, Voltron stumbled backwards and raised it's leg up looking at it, suddenly with a loud creak the leg dislodged and tumbled to the ground.
Keith: Alurra quick get her out of the-!
before Keith could react Kiryu swung around again and slammed Voltron with it's chest sending the mech flying backwards into the cliff. Kiryu picked up Voltron's right leg and started to tear it apart, seeing what he was doing Voltron rushed towards Kiryu to stop him, Kiryu looked up to see Voltron heading towards it so he stopped pulling and threw the battered leg of Voltron into orbit.
Kiryu pilot: ok this is it, computer reroute all remaining power to the Absolute Zero Cannon and prepare to fire!
Kiryu's chest panels opened up and revealed the Absolute Zero Cannon which began to charge up, Voltron continued flying threw the air pummeling Kiryu with it's attacks too fast fore Kiryu to react to.
Kiryu pilot: Computer lock onto the Target!
Kiryu's targeting system began to track Voltron, soon an image came up and an indicator showed where Voltron would be in a few seconds.
Kiryu pilot: Fire!
Kiryu fired the Cannon and the freeze ball flew through the air, Voltron came right into it's path was struck by it, ice began to spread fast and soon Voltron was completely incased in it unable to move. Kiryu stepped forward and swung it's tail down, but nothing happened, Voltron's own durability was too strong and was preventing it from collapsing upon it's own weight.
Lance: we can't move, we're stuck!
Kiryu pilot: computer arm every cannon, laser and missile we have and fire when ready.
Kiryu brought out it's entire remaining arsenal and aimed for thr frozen body of Voltron, suddenly it fired all of it's missiles and launched them at it's target, the missiles collided with Voltron who's structure was already too damaged to hold up against the attack, in a massive explosion Voltron was blown apart by the missiles killing the Pilot's.
Kiryu stood in triumph and roared out through the canyon.

Boomstick: Well i geuss Alurra's gonna need some new pilots and Lion's after this, granted she figures out how to get out of that broken leg.
Wiz: Voltron may have been powerful enough to be the defender of the universe but it wasn't enough to go up against the sheer power and strength of Kiryu.
Boomstick: don't be fooled, they might be the same height but Voltron was built for speed and agility and weighs about 772 tons, Kiryu was built to wrestle and put down threats like Godzilla and King Ghidorah, at 40,000 tons, that's 51 times heavier than Voltron.
Wiz:not to mention that with the exception of the Blazing Sword Kiryu's arsenal was far more destructive and overall powerful than any weapon the pilots could generate.
Boomstick: and when it came down to their physique the numbers don't lie, Voltron might have picked up and kicked that mutated bulldozer into orbit but that's nothing on Kiryu's strength, he was strong enough to lift and throw the 90,000 ton king of the monsters like he was a ragdoll, the bulldozer only weighed 3,900 tons, even though Voltron threw it or rather kicked it farther that still makes Kiryu 23 times stronger than him.
Wiz: but Voltron wasn't completely outclassed, Kiryu might have been able to travel at mach 5 with the Garuda but both Voltron and the lion's could move between entire galaxies in hours, making them even faster than light speed, unfortunately Kiryu's main advantage was his onboard computer and advanced software, not only did he decimate Voltron in hand to hand combat with his knowledge of martial arts but his targeting computer was more than capable of locking onto Voltron even when he was moving faster than light speed.
Boomstick: we can prove it too, in his battle with Godzilla's space clone his targeting computer was able to lock onto SpaceGodzilla while in flight, on SpaceGodzilla's first trip to earth he was already confirmed to be moving at light speed, hell he was moving so fast that he destroyed entire planets in his flight path just by ramming into them with his head, and he wasn't even moving at top speed, just his average travel speed.
Wiz: and as for durability there was just no way around it, none of Voltron's weapons could get through or even penetrate Kiryu's Armour. the Blazing sword might have been powerful enough to destroy that satellite but throughout all the years of his protrayl in the Godzilla verse Kiryu's Armour has never been broken through, it was strong enough to tank dead on hits from Godzilla's red spiral ray, an attack so deadly it was able to kill Spacegodzilla in 3 shots, Destroyah in a matter of shot's and was the killing blow to King Ghidorah. and in comparison the atomic breath on it's own has a far deadlier affect then the Blazing sword, even more so when it's amped up to the red spiral ray.
Boomstick: Voltron might have been tough enough to land on the Omega Comet with it's black hole level gravity but Kiryu was solely built to kill Godzilla who took an asteroid to the face without even flinching and survived a point blank black hole with hardly any damage, and not only was he built for it but he did defeat big G and would have ended him completely had he not run out of power at the end.
Wiz: and with Kiryu's scanners he was able to find out Voltron's greatest weakness, and with his own speed and reflexes was enough to put that information to good use.
Boomstick: Kiryu's biggest challenge was the threat of running out of power and being defenseless, Voltron's Blazing Sword was able to recharge just by pointing at the sky while Kiryu needed the Garuda. wait Wiz, if Voltron regain's energy with electricity wouldn't Kiryu's wrist gauntlets have powered Voltron instead of hurting him?
Wiz: no for two reasons, one Voltron could only conduct electricity through it's Blazing sword, and two Kiryu's wrist blades conduct an electrical current so extreme it was able to fry Godzilla who is normally able to absorb electricity and lightning.
Boomstick: and while Kiryu did have limited power he was able to make it last, Kiryu's pilots have been trained for years and have first hand experience for keeping the big metal guy powered through hours and even days of fighting. Voltron might have had the durability to survive the initial blast from the Absolute Zero Cannon, but it's not like he was getting back up after a hit from that thing, and with his internal structure weakened and fragile all Kiryu had to do was hit him hard enough to shatter everything inside.
Wiz: Voltron and his pilots were coordinated and adaptable but were ultimately no match for Kiryu's superior physique, power and experience.
Boomstick: looks like Voltron just couldn't defend itself this time.
Wiz: the winner is Kiryu.
