Wiz - Some people aren't just born for war, they were made for it. And these two swordsmen are among the most feared of their worlds.
Boomstick - But now, it is time to see which master swordsman is the best warrior in the world. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz - And it is our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win... A DEATH BATTLE!
King Bradley Is Furious At Death Battle[]
Wiz - The Kingdom of Amestris. Home of many marvelous feats of engineering, masters of the art of Alchemy
Boomstick - And perhaps the most dangerous military the world has ever seen. I mean, they were responsible for a multitude of massacres just to please the devil himself.
Wiz - Hoping to create a Philosopher Stone big enough to allow him to swallow God Himself, Father had persuaded the military to help him create a Transmutation Circle big enough to cover the entire Kingdom so he could absorb all the souls of Amestris. In order to make sure they had an effective enough of a leader, he helped them create the perfect warrior.
Boomstick - Basically, they indoctrinated several young students and taught them everything they needed to learn about the art of war. When the time came, they were each given a Philosopher's Stone in the hopes of turning them into a Homunculus. One man survived and became the leader of Amestris. And you know there is going to be trouble when a guy has the same title as Adolf Hitler!
Wiz - He is known by the Homunculus as Wrath the Furious, but to the people of Amestris, he is simply known as King Bradley.

Boomstick - Hang on, Wiz. I thought King Bradley was Pride.
Wiz - Well, in the 2003 anime, he is. But in the manga, he is known as Wrath.
Boomstick - Well, either way, he is definetally a force to be reckoned with. As the King of Amestris, Bradley had access to many things a man would want - a wife, endless supply of food, and his own personal castle. However, he was only interested in making his dad proud by killing all opposition.
Wiz - And he could do it to. Being a homunculus, Bradley possessed an impressive amount of strength, speed and durability, capable of fighting and overpowering a tank, even cutting through it's cannon. Considering most tanks are made of steel, this means bradley could strike with a force of about 25000 psi!
Boomstick - He is also a very talented swordsman, able to take on some of the most skilled fighters in his world with ease. His preferred weapon of choice is a sword, and he can even dual wield them. However, he is also proficient with knives, guns, grenades and a bunch of other stuff.

Wiz - But his most deadliest weapon is the Ultimate Eye. Usually concealed within an eye patch, this eye grants him not only an extrasensory awareness of his surroundings, but also a precognitive ability that enables him to see any strengths and weaknesses an enemy may have. Not only has this eye made him a deadly opponent, but it also enabled him to survive multiple near-death situations.
Boomstick - For example, one time he was on a train when the bridge it was on was blown up and caused him to fall from a rough. Solution? He found a path on some debris, jumped on each piece, and got to the other end before he could get hurt. And that only made his back sore.
Wiz - As Wrath incarnate, Bradley was one of the deadlliest opponents for any person who opposed him. He could take down opponents like Greed, Fu, Roy Mustang and Buccaneer without breaking a sweat. He survived being shot with a musket, and could swing his sword so fast that no one could see it - meaning that he could move at speeds over 17500 meters per second.

Wiz - He isn't. Unlike most of the Homunculus, he had to overpower the Philosopher Stone and reduce it to only one soul. This means that he lacks some of the abilities that the other Homunculus possess, such as reduced aging, regeneration and other abilities.
Boomstick - Yet he was still a force to be reckoned with! In fact, it took an act of God Himself to take down this near-perfect warrior!
Wiz - Yet despite his treachery and ruthless nature, Bradley was still held as a hero by the people of Amestris. Forever seen as a man willing to defend his home to his last breath.
Alexander Anderson Praises The Lord For Death Battle[]
Wiz - In the dark of the night, the world is haunted by demons. However, there are some who are brave enough to battle these monsters in their own turf. The Roman Catholic Church, for example, has an organization dedicated to hunting demons - the Iscariot Organization.
Boomstick - Why did they name them after the guy who betrayed Jesus? Isn't that kind of a bad omen?
Wiz - Maybe, but they were still an effective monster killing force and keeping the name of Jesus holy. So, when their rival, the Hellsing Organization, sent Alucard to handle a vampire in Ireland, they knew they had to send over the big guns.
Boomstick - And what bigger guns can you send a guy who charges into battle with a pair of bayonets as the 'Gun of God'? He has been known by many names - Saint Guillotine, Dust to Dust, the Paladin, The Purifier - all of which he had earned very well. He is Alexander Anderson!

Wiz - Little is known about Alexander Anderson, except his aliases and his reputation as one of the best monster killers alive.
Boomstick - Still, I think he should probably get better weapons. I mean, why fight with bayonets?! Those are supposed to go on a gun!
Wiz - Those are not any ordinary blades. Those are holy blades, made specifically to kill monsters. And he uses them to great effect, creating things like barriers to make sure monsters don't escape, or send an entire chain of them that would explode instantly.
Boomstick - Now, wouldn't cornering a monster make them even more dangerous? Well, Anderson doesn't care, especially since he can regenerate thanks to some experiments done to him. His Regenenerator abilities are so effective that Alucard needed a specific gun designed to actually deal lasting damage!
Wiz - He also has his magic holy bible, which enables him to travel to different locations.

Boomstick - These weapons were very effective in his many battles against both Alucard and Millenium. In his first fight with Alucard, he killed him with one blow, and Alucard is fast enough to catch magic bullets with his teeth that travels at least 1500 times faster than sound, and survive a plane crash. In fact, Anderson held his own against Alucard multiple times.
Wiz - He done more than that. He killed a number of vampire assassin sent to kill him, pierced through a tektite glass box and fought an entire horde of vampires to save his bosses rival, Sir Integra. This suggests that his hatred for heathens is not as deep as it appears. He is still a priest dedicated to preaching about peace, and him killing monsters is a way to do it. That is why he sees himself as God's Blade. And also why he went after Alucard when he released Level Zero.
Boomstick - Yet he knew that his skill wasn't enough to kill Alucard, so he took the Nail of Saint Helen with him. And that enhanced his healing and gave him power over plants and fire.

Wiz - Alright the combatants are set! Let's end the debate once and for all!
Boomstick - It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!
Battle[]
Alexander Anderson walked through Labratory 5, his blades red from the soldiers he killed.
His superiors at Rome have told him about how there was a demon in the kingdom of Amestris. Knowing his reputation, they sent Anderson to deal with the monster that went by the name of Father. He had to kill multiple guards, and many more high members of the military to find out where he lived and where to find him. They were barely any fun.
As he walked through the building, he came to a large room with a marble floor and a metal case of armor on the ground. Right next to a corpse. As he knelt down and closed the eyes of the corpse, he looked at the doors before him.
Anderson - So, this is where I can find this so called 'Father' demon. Well, I shall see that this unholy being will be sent to hell where he belongs!
??? - I don't think you will be doing that, human.
Anderson looked back and stared at King Bradley. He smiled sadistically.
Anderson - The great Furher King Bradley! I have heard a lot about you!
King Bradley - So, Iscariot sends it's trump card to kill Father? Typical humans. So what shall it be, priest? you going to make the smart decision?
Bradley draws his swords and points them at Anderson.
King Bradley - Or are you going to die like a good human?
Anderson drew his bayonets and took a fighting stance.
Anderson - If you do not love the Lord, Jesus Christ, let him stand accused.
He charges at Bradley, a mad smile on his face.
Anderson - AMEN!
Bradley smirked and charged forward.
FIGHT!
Anderson struck first, slashing at Bradley while hissing like a serpent. Blocking the attack, the Furher thrusted with his sword, but Anderson quickly defended himself with his weapons. As the priest prepared to make a strike, King Bradley thrusted his sword into Anderson's skull, piercing it, before kicking him to the ground. He looked at Anderson, and smirked.
King Bradley - Only human.
He turned to leave.
Suddenly, he felt a chill on his back as Anderson breathed down his neck. Moving quickly, Bradley dodged the attack and turned towards Anderson. He watched as Anderson's sword wound healed.
King Bradley - What are you?
Anderson smiled, and pulled out three knives from his sleeves.
Anderson - I am a soldier of Iscariot! And it is our sacred duty to rid the world of monsters and heretics! Monsters like your Father, and heretics like you.
Bradley nodded, then began removing his eye. Anderson threw his blades at Bradley, but, much to his surprise, Bradley dodged each attack and closed the distance between him and Anderson. He then thrusted his blade into the man's stomach and pierced it, then slashed his legs. Much to his irritaton, this did nothing against the priest. Anderson quickly grabbed him by the face and, laughing maniacally, slammed him to the ground and dragged him across the floor. Bradley pulled out a knife and stabbed Anderson in the eye, causing him to let go. As he rolled aside, Anderson shook off the pain of his eye and turned to Bradley, and saw that the man's eye had an Ouroborus on it.
King Bradley - You can't hurt me, Iscariot. I am the Ultimate Eye.
Anderson smiled.
Anderson - Well, now this is getting interesting!
Bradley and Anderson clashed blades again, striking with equal tenacity and brutality. However, Bradley was starting to become exhausted. Needing to find some sort of way to weaken the priest, he began yelling at him insulting him.
King Bradley - Do you think of yourself as a true warrior of God? What sort of God would allow evil to exist? To allow beings like me, Wrath, to exist? Can such a God even be considered sane?!
Anderson jumped back, pulled out a chain of bayonets and threw them in King Bradley's position. Bradley quickly drew his sword, and slashed off the tops of every single Exploding Bayonet, stopping the explosion. Then, pulling a grenade of his own out, he closed the distance between himself and Anderson, pulled the pin, stabbed Anderson with one of his swords, placed the grenade on the weapon's hilt and retreated back before he could get struck.
BOOM!
King Bradley smiled as the grenade exploded, possibly killing Anderson. Much to his surprise, Anderson wasn't even fazed by the grenade, and charged again, preparing to cut off Bradley's head. The Ultimate Eye pulled out his own weapon and then struck at Anderson. The two blades clashed, and Anderson managed to cut off not one but both of Bradley's arms. Bradley screamed in pain, then grabbed the blade with his teeth and thrusted it into Anderson's neck. Anderson responded by pushing the Furher off, pulling out multiple bayonets, and throwing them at the Furher.
The force he threw the blades with was enough to knock Wrath into the door. Bradley screamed in pain as more knives were thrown into his body. He glared at Anderson, who smiled as he advanced towards the Furher.
Anderson - Any last words?
King Bradley - None.
Anderson nodded, then swung his blade.

Father sat on his throne, reading a book, when Anderson approached him. The Dwarf in the Flask looked at the priest, who then tossed King Bradley's head to him. As he looked at the Furher pensively, he remained stone faced.
Anderson - Praise the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the son lest He be angry and ye persish on the Way, when His Wrath be kindled but a little.
Anderson took a fighting stance in front of Father, who stared at him in confusion and bewilderment. Standing up, he stared at him, ready to kill the priest.
Comparison[]
Boomstick - Oh, man! Anderson going on a mission to kill Father?! Now that is a crossover I would love to see!
Wiz - Bradley was definetally a trick opponent for Anderson. The Ultimate Eye could allow Wrath to see Anderson's weaknesses and predict his movements, and he also had a lot more experience.
Boomstick - However, Anderson's regeneration pretty much meant that, even if Bradley did injre him, he could get back up with ease and continue fighting.
Wiz - And without anything to put Anderson down for good, Bradley was simply going to run out of stamina in a prolonged fight. Even with all the benefits that the Ultimate Eye gave him, such as heightened awareness, and precognition, Anderson had all he needed.
Boomstick But it wasn't just strength. Scaling Anderson to Alucard meant he was faster than any speed the eye could see, even the ultimate eye. And his paraphenelia was far superior. Heck, he could have ended the fight with the Nail of Helen. In the end, Anderson ultimately, Homuncu-lated Bradley!
Wiz - The winner is Anderson.
Trivia[]
- The connections between King Bradley and Alexander Anderson is that both are swordsman who were given powers as a result of experimentation. Both are considered trump cards for the organizations they are apart of (Bradley was made to lead the Amestris Military for Father's plans, while Anderson was made to be the Trump Card for the Iscariot Organization.) Both have a sort of father-son relationship to another member of their team (Pride and Maxwell) as well as a sort of rivalry with a glove wearing enemy (Roy Mustang and Alucard). Both have appeared to be on one side, but were actually on the opposite side (Bradley was thought to be protecting his kingdom, but was really working to destroy Amestris, while Anderson was once allied with Maxwell until he betrayed him). Both also possess a sort of 'trump card' (Ultimate Eye and Nail of Helena) and were killed by an enemy they had irked with their actions (Scar because of the Ishvalan Massacre, and Alucard because Anderson became the Monster of God).
