Boomstick: And in the case of today's combatants, it's not just any enemy they're up against- it's aliens.
Wiz: Like Kevin Levin, the Osmosian former enemy turned trusted partner to Ben 10.
Boomstick: And Satsuki Kiryuin, Honnouji Academy's own ice queen and Ryuko Matoi's sworn rival from Kill la Kill. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!

The connections between Kevin Levin and Satsuki Kiryuin are that they are both cynical yet intelligent former enemies to a cocky teenaged hero with a highly adaptable alien weapon (Ben Tennyson and Ryuko Matoi respectively) who would soon join their cause after reconciling with them and finding a common foe in a villain that had abused their talents in the past (Vilgax and Ragyo respectively). They specialise in highly adaptable alien powers (Kevin's absorption powers and Junketsu respectively) that run the risk of causing them to become unstable (Kevin becoming more unhinged if he absorbs too much and certain absorptions resulting in mutations while Junketsu's feral mind runs the risk of whoever wears it losing control). Both also had a father figure (or literal father in Satsuki's case) in their life that influenced them into fighting for good (Kwarrel and Soichiro respectively).
This is also a battle of opposites, as Kevin for much of his life was a delinquent that frequently found himself in trouble with the law, while Satsuki is an authority figure that maintains total order within Honnouji Academy.
