Kenny "Kick" Dermot is a character from the videogame series Dead Rising. He is a psychopath embodying the deadly sin of pride who is also a huge fan of Nick Ramos.

History[]
Kenny Dermot is a nerdy man who believed he was a weakling and a failure after being unable to save a group of people from a horde of zombies. However, Nick Ramos arrived to the Big Buck construction site in South Almuda and found Kenny all alone, crying. Nick tried to cheer up Kenny but the latter insists that he is useless. Kenny then asks Nick to show him his abilities by killing several zombies with his bare hands. Nick then tells Kenny on how to create a combo weapon and he created one just for Kenny. Impressed by Nick’s ability to create a combo weapon, Kenny became confident again.
However, Kenny became envious of Nick and strived to be just like him. He captured a young woman named Regina Thompson and brought her on a yacht in Central City as he was planning to rescue her in an attempt to play hero. Nick came along and stopped a zombie from trying to attack Regina, making Kenny upset that Nick ruined his "stunt".
Kenny begins explaining to Nick that he had changed his appearance by wearing the exact same uniform as Nick’s, and giving himself a nickname, Kick. Nick tries to argue with Kenny but the latter mentions that he can create his own combo weapons. He claims that he is "better" than Nick and that he’s been preparing and training in his mother's basement for a zombie infestation. This resulted in Kenny and Nick to engage in a fight, resulting in Kenny being defeated. Soon, zombies arrived to the yacht and a frightened Kenny begins to apologize to Nick for his behavior and begs for him to save him.
At this point, Nick has the option of either saving Kenny and have him as an ally or leave him to the zombies.
