History[]

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance[]

The grandson of Simon Belmont, Juste Belmont was destined to be a Vampire Killer. With his grandfather nearing the age of 80, Juste took over the reigns of vampire hunter in his village, and inherited the whip of House Belmont, the Vampire Killer. Juste was best friends with Maxim Kischine, who was also an aspiring vampire hunter, and thus rivaled Juste in many ways.

Juste and Maxim had another childhood friend, a woman known as Lydie Erlanger. Lydie had become smitten with Juste, although she suddenly disappeared from the village one day. Maxim returned from a quest he was on, telling Juste that he knew where Lydie could be, and brought him to Dracula's Castle. Juste traveled through Dracula's Castle, and came to the realization that Maxim was the one who captured Lydie, due to being possessed by Count Dracula.

Juste lived up the legacy of his grandfather and the rest of his ancestors, by taking out Dracula upon his return. Juste was able to rescue Maxim by rescuing his soul from within Dracula, and the two brought Lydie out of the crumbling castle together. Juste would go on to get married to Lydie and have a child with her. It is unknown whether his son or grandson grows up to be the renowned vampire hunter, Richter Belmont.
