Description[]
Volume 1 Chapter 3! Steel Ball Run vs My Hero Academia! The Spin and One for All are abilities that have been passed down from generation to generation, Granting each user almost infinite power. But when it came time for Gyro Zeppeli and All Might to choose who to teach this ability to, These two young and determined shonen heroes just had to be the ones to take over. But in a battle to the death which legacy based protagonist will walk out of this alive!
Rules: Tusk Act 4 will be included for Johnny while Deku will get stuff from the movies and the One's Justice games. The manga will be taking presedence for both however.
Intro[]
Irish: It's very common that at the start of the story the main protagonist is fairly weak not only in spirit but also in just physical strength. See Luke Skywalker as an example.
Sean: But over the course of the story does the protagonist not only learn from the events they experienced during their adventure. Sort of like the combatants of tonight's episode but these guys' stories really didn't start off great since, in the beginning, their spirits were in complete darkness thanks to a disadvantage they had.
Irish: But thanks to a kind man passing down their abilities onto them both of our combatants began to become a lot more confident in themselves and their abilities eventually escaping their depression. But in a battle between the newest users of the Spin and One for All who comes out on top?
Sean: Johnny Joestar - The Genius Jockey who mastered the Spin from Steel Ball Run!
Irish: And Izuku Midoriya - The Disciple of All Might and the latest user of One for All!
Sean: Now every match-up needs rules and this ain't any different. Johnny Joestar will have access to Tusk Act 4 while Deku will be allowed the Full Gauntlet along with feats from the movies and the video games since they don't contradict the main canon.
Irish: So don't expect anything from Eyes of Heaven because it heavily contradicts the main canon (the manga) so it wouldn't really make sense to include it.
Sean: Other than that. I'm Sean and he's Irish and we're here to look over the fighting style, weapons and feats of two fictional characters and use that information to figure out who would win a battle to the death...
Irish: Or as we like to call them...A Death Battle!
Johnny Joestar[]
Irish: Many centuries ago there lived a saint by the name of Jesus Christ...well he's never really explicitly stated to be Jesus but it's very heavily implied.
Sean: Well, to be honest, you don't really need to be a religious scholar to realise that's probably Jesus. He even got resurrected. But this saint was different as he decided to go east, Only telling Joseph of Arimathea of his expedition and just like that he had disappeared.
Irish: This saint travelled across the continent, learning different languages and cultures along the way until he made it to the coast and travelled to a new land where he lived out the rest of his life until he died. Not long after this saint had died a great earthquake ravished the continent. This earthquake had such amazing power that it tore through the land and created raging storms.
Sean: These natural disasters had torn the saints' body into 9 pieces and spread them across the land. The pieces of the saints' corpse were also known to give anyone who comes across them, abilities that some would consider supernatural. That was when the president of the United States, Funny Valentine came up with an idea to find them.
Irish: And that was to basically change the Steel Ball Run Race into a glorified treasure hunt. With the prize of 60,000,000 USD many racers from different walks of life like the British Celebrity Racer, Diego Brando and even a descendant of Genghis Kahn!
Sean: But one of the most unique racers in this event was a veteran jockey who unlike everyone else was in a wheelchair. This man was the former prodigy, Johnny Joestar.
Irish: Or you may know him as Joe-Kid or maybe Jojo but if you were a part of Johnny's family you may call him by his real name, Jonathan Joestar.
Sean: Jonathan...actually I'm gonna call him Johnny from now on just so I don't confuse him with the English Hulk. (Cough) Anyway, Johnny was born and raised in Danville Kentucky with his noble family. At the age of 5, Johnny's life had changed forever.
Irish: And that was when he rode a horse for the first time. Even as a child he knew that he just loved horse racing. To him, The movement of the horse's muscles was the most beautiful thing in the world.
Sean: It totally makes sense that he would be really into horse-racing since nearly everyone in his family was participating in it. His father who had the triple clown a total of 7 times which apparently is a really top-notch race but to be honest I couldn't tell ya.
Irish: Yeah we're not exactly Equestrians but anyway: Another person in his family who was talented in horse-racing was his older brother, Nicholas Joestar. Nicholas was a prodigy for his age (even more than Johnny) and his sheer skill made him an inspiration to Johnny.
Sean: But despite his luxurious upbringing, Life really wasn't all sunshine and rainbows for pool old Johnny Joestar and that raining cloud was his father.
Irish: Yeah~ George Joestar...wasn't as "nice" as the one in the original Jojo Universe. For example, when Johnny was younger he adopted a mouse named Danny and made him his pet. But when George saw that Johnny was bringing his mouse to the dinner table, He had one solution...
George: Dinner is over. Jonathan go to your room immediately. But first...you must drown that thing in the lake...Understand?
Sean: Yeah quite the rational response there. Father of the year right there. "Son, are you feeding your pet mouse on the dinner table? Well, you better drown that little fucker by tomorrow!"
Irish: Well Johnny didn't have to drown that small little mouse thankfully due to his brother's quick thinking. All ends well right? Well not exactly since while Nicholas was practising he suddenly got into an accident which unfortunately proved fatal for the young man.
Sean: Now you'd think it couldn't get worse from there for Johnny than seeing his own brother dying right in front of him? Well according to Diego Brando the main reason of the crash was a small mouse scuttling in front of the horse, startling it. But knowing Diego's reputation it wouldn't surprise me if Diego had something to do with that crash!
Irish: Heresy aside. Despite the guilt of his brothers' death and the relationship with his father going even more downhill, Johnny's career skyrocketed to a point where he would be friends with politicians and royalty. Hell, One time Johnny visited the home of a millionaire. When he got there the millionaire's daughter and her friend started taking off their clothes...you can tell what happened afterwards.
Sean: But like everything good in Johnny's life, It didn't last that long. You see, one of Johnny's "ladies" wanted to watch a new play but the problem was that the queue for the show was around the corner! Well...it wasn't exactly a problem because with Johnny's influence he could just skip the queue.
Irish: And that's what he did. But what he didn't know was that there was a poor kid who was waiting in line for the whole day and he wasn't the happiest camper. He certainly became even less of a happy camper and the way he showed off his anger, Changed Johnny's forever...for a second time...
Sean: That gunshot pierced Johnny's spine which had made him paralyzed from the waist down. Ironic that he caused his own fall from grace. Not only was his career basically down the drain but he lost all of his friends and his "ladies" that would always surround him.
Irish: Johnny had basically lost hope in life as you would expect. That was until just before the Steel Ball Run race, He saw a man throwing a Steel Ball and making a robber shoot himself in the head. And when Johnny touched this Ball...and he stood up!
Sean: Ehhh not really. Do your fucking research, Irish!
Irish: I was getting to that. Eh hem. This man, Who's name was Gyro Zeppelli had given him hope with an ability called "The Spin!" and so he joined him on the race. Johnny and Gyro defeated many foes during their fight which makes sense since Johnny had gained quite an arsenal during this journey but the greatest thing he gained during the race was a friendship with Gyro Zeppeli.
Sean: Stop being so sappy!
Irish: Well I guess the Spin is pretty cool I guess...why not go over it?
Sean: Yeah well that is our job. Well anyway, The spin is as we mentioned an ancient technique which originated from the middle ages and was commonly used by the Zeppeli Family.
Irish: You see, The Zeppeli's weren't only just doctors but the males in their family were executioners. And they would use the spin to effectively make the execution methods a lot less painful for the...executee? Is that what you would call them?
Sean: Yeah...I think you call them that...
Irish: I'll have to look that up. Anyway, Gyro was the newest member of the Zeppeli Family to learn the Spin and he decided to teach the spin to Johnny.
Sean: Johnny started off slow with his use of the Spin. First, he would mainly use it to get back onto his horse because of the whole being paralyzed thing. But over time he had learnt how to do more and more even being able to do the same things as Gyro. Like the Zeppeli Secret Technique of squeezing through sewers.
Irish: ...Well...I mean yeah the Spin does allow Johnny to squeeze through surfaces as small as sewer holes. He even did this after he had been shot by...Diego, Wekapipo and Funny Valentine.
Sean: Wait what?
Irish: Jojo. That's the reason Sean, Jojo. Well anyway, While Johnny doesn't really do this during the race but Gyro was able to use the spin to make a young woman look older by giving her wrinkles.
Sean: Yeah that might help with Lucy Ste-
Irish: NO! BAD SEAN! BAD! (Cough) Well, Johnny doesn't really use the spin the same way as Gyro. Instead, He uses it to power his stand, Tusk. Similar to how Hermit Purple is like an amplifier of Hamon.
Sean: Okay fine no need to be a dick. Well anyway, remember those Corpse Parts of Jesus that are known to give people supernatural abilities? Well, the supernatural ability is, in fact, called a stand and Johnny gained this stand when he came in contact with one of these parts.
Irish: Much like Echoes in Part 4, Tusk has 4 acts which are wildly different with each evolution. But the main ability of Act 1 is that Johnny can shoot his nails like bullets.
Sean: And when we say shoot his nails like bullets we truly mean it, They can move at the same speed as bullets from around that time (1890) but these things are deadly and you definitely don't want to be in front of one of these shots, since they're strong enough to blow apart a boulder like it was nothing.
Irish: You probably don't want to be anywhere near Johnny. Since when Johnny fired off a shot against the ground it created a shockwave strong enough to cut a man in half.
Sean: And when these shots have a range of 10 meters it could be pretty hard to escape.
Irish: Especially since Johnny can spin his nails to a point where he basically becomes a human roller-blade. No, I'm not joking...I'm very serious...
Sean: God Dammit Araki...
Irish: Well anyway, yeah. Johnny's bullets are hella strong as we mentioned they can cut people in half and blow apart boulders but they are also able to blow through Diego's body even when he was mostly transformed into a dinosaur.
Pop-Up: Which is impressive as dinosaur skin is known to be quite tough.
Sean: It's not just his fingers that Johnny can shoot his nails from. He can "shoot his shots" from his toes. But he generally decides not to use his toes. Which I sorta understand since if I had an ability like Johnny I wouldn't want to buy new shoes each time I use it.
Irish: Especially since this was 1890. Anyway, These bullets are comparable in speed to regular bullets which we saw in many "draw scenes" throughout the part. Johnny is shown to be quite creative with his nails like how he carved a dead tree into the shape of himself in a few seconds.
Sean: Huh Johnny should become an artist. He could give that Rohan Kishibe a run for his money!
Irish: Eh~ I would say he should stay in the shooting range since we know he's great at that. And Act 1 would be pretty OP over there thanks to the mix between his gold-like aim and infinite ammo.
Sean: So basically he's like those bots on TF2? OP...well anyway, His stand does gain quite an evolution with Act 2. He gained this evolution of his stand thanks to mastering the Golden Rectangle.
Irish: So what is the advancement of this stand? Well, one of these is that his bullets are waaay stronger. Like strong enough to create a typhoon with just one shot. But what makes this Act a full package is that he can move the bullet holes.
Sean: Uhhh what do you mean by that?
Irish: Well if he shoots the wall behind a guy he can move the bullet hole and still land a shot on his target. Basically, He can never miss a shot.
Sean: Ahh yeah I totally know that. Well anyway, Johnny's favorite usage of this "moving bullet hole" is that he moves the bullet hole up his opponent's head up to their heart/head and Bang! End of the battle right there. So basically if Johnny we're in Red Dead he would be king.
Irish: If he doesn't get cornered by griefers then yeah. Anyway, These bullet holes will follow the opponent automatically for 7 to 8 seconds max. The main flaw of this Act is that his ammo is limited: He only has 10 nail-bullets (One for each nail) and he needs to wait for his nails to regrow before he can use them again. But don't worry he can grow them back quicker by drinking Herbal Tea.
Pop-Up: After drinking Herbal Tea, His nails will grow back in about a minute.
Sean: But the greatest skill Johnny gains from this Act...is that he can grate cheese with his finger, Eat spaghetti with it and he can even brush his teeth with it. He is like a human version of one of those products you see in those scammy ads. LIKE KITCHEN GUN!
Irish: Eh~ I sorta get where you're coming from...anyway, the real greatest skill this Act gives to Johnny is that it allows him to involuntarily move his opponent's hands. Which he can use to make his foe's shoot themselves in the face. The Gyro Zeppeli special.
Sean: Well anyway, Johnny's stand is not done advancing because during the battle against Axl Ro (Not the singer) he gained another act. Act 3. He activates this by...shooting himself in the head...
Irish: Eh~ I wouldn't think of it too much because it might make your head hurt (Probably not as much as Johnny's) but put simply when Johnny shoots himself he gains the ability to travel through the bullet holes he creates which helps since his bullet can fuck up the human body a lot more.
Sean: But yeah with this Act, Johnny becomes the ultimate defense as he can basically hide inside of these holes and surprise attack his foes. Don't even try to reach into these holes otherwise you'll lose that hand. He could probably just one shot his foes by like grabbing them and pulling them into the holes as well.
Irish: And don't think because you have an ability to send objects to other dimensions that you will be safe. Because as Funny Valentine learned, they can't be teleported to different worlds.
Sean: He can even use this Act to squeeze his body through tight spaces. Like Gyro did.
Irish: But even with all of these perks of the other Acts it really shows just how badass the final evolution of Tusk is. And that would be Act 4.
(Johnny Joestar Fan-Made Theme)
Sean: Tusk Act 4 is an absolute monster in combat and can beat down fellow punchy ghosts like D4C as if they were nothing and could probably contend with THE WORLD which should be as strong as the one in Part 3 right?
Irish: ...Well...not exactly since there really isn't any evidence of the two stands being anyway comparable in physicality. Hell, there is more evidence that The World in Part 3 is stronger than THE WORLD. We even proved that The World was stronger than THE WORLD two episodes ago.
Sean: Eh fair enough. But to be honest he doesn't really need scaling to get into the Building Level range but we'll go over how strong this stand is later on.
Irish: Sure Act 4's Physicality trumps that of the previous forms but that doesn't mean that's all Johnny gains. Instead, he gains one of the most overpowered abilities in all of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure (Which is really saying something) and that's the Infinite Rotation.
(Irish is seen standing beside Sean)
Sean: Oh yeah I heard about this. I know it fucked up Valentine but how does it work?
Irish: It's pretty simple. You see when Act 4 makes contact with his opponent it basically forces all of the victim's cells in their bodies violently until eventually they are disintegrated. Just to show...
(Suddenly Tusk Act 4 appears beside Irish)
Sean: Uh~ two questions. 1) How the hell did you get Tusk? and 2) What are you doing with it?
Irish: Well good question. 1) I stole an alternate universe Johnny's corpse part and 2) I'm just going to use it so I can show the audience how the Infinite Rotation works.
(Sean suddenly steps back)
Sean: Like hell, you a-
(Suddenly before he could protest, Sean is suddenly touched by Act 4 causing his body to spin violently)
Sean: AGGGGHHHHHHHH!
Irish: Don't think that if you travel to a different dimension that it will save you from that brutal attack because as Valentine discovered it will follow you forever. Well unless Johnny feels very merciful and decides to reverse this buy shooting the victim again. Oh, that reminds me.
(Act 4 touches Sean once again stopping the Rotation. Sean stood up angrily)
Sean: Arsehole...
Irish: Well I was not really honest here since there is another way that the Infinite Rotation can be beaten and that is if he is touched by the victim, Johnny will have the effects of the Rotation reflected back onto him but we will talk about that down the line.
Sean: Another ability that Act 4 has is some form of Gravity Manipulation. Now it's nothing like Ururaka or C-Moon but it's potent enough that it allowed him to move through DIEGO'S Time Stop.
Pop-Up: Which is the same reason why Pucci could somewhat move in Jotaro's Time Stop during the final battle of Part 6 in the airport.
Irish: So yeah it wasn't Act 4 moving at Immeasurable speeds like what we used to believe. Anyway, while Johnny does need Slow Dancer to activate Act 4 but he doesn't need every time he "turns on" this Act. The damage it brings onto his foes has been described as "Likely Infinite".
Sean: Honestly while Tusk may be great and all but Slow Dancer is pretty close to as being as good as Tusk....well if you ask me anyway. We'll tell you why.
Pop-Up: Slow Dancer gets its name from the song of the same name by Boz Scaggs.
Irish: Slow Dancer is an 11-year-old Appaloosa Horse. Now the Appaloosa Horse is commonly used in endurance riding competitions, as well as in casual trail riding and they are bred for Horse Racing.
Sean: Which makes sense since it's in a Horse Race. Anyway, Slow Dancer is an 11-year-old and its age is one of its biggest strengths during the Steel Ball Run Race since it is more experienced and wouldn't make the same mistake as younger houses. For example, it won't charge into dangerous areas territories on impulse and sprain their legs which may not be very helpful.
Irish: During the start of Steel Ball Run it was stated to be "an untamable horse with a twisted personality" and yet Johnny managed to tame him and Johnny is pretty good at riding Slow Dancer since with a simple move he was able to cause a collision.
Sean: Makes sense since as we stated before he won the Kentucky Darby at the age of 16 and that he has been described as a genius jockey...and yet he couldn't get papa's love.
Irish: Jesus Christ mate that's dark (Although it is true) Regardless, Slow Dancer is very useful to Johnny as not only did he kind of become a pair of legs for the crippled Johnny but also that Jojo can use the Golden Rectangle by focusing on his Slow Dancer's mane.
Sean: And the fact that he can basically activate the strongest stand using him, Kind of puts Slow Dancer on a level above most horses in fiction in usefulness.
Irish: And Johnny saw this since even after the Steel Ball Run Race, He decided to bring Slow Dancer with him to Japan and he would still ride him...honestly that's kind of adorable.
Sean: See? He lasted longer than Gyro.
Irish: Too soon mate...too soon...
Sean: Well I guess it's around that time where we talk about the accomplishments of the combatant and well Johnny definitely has some feats on his side. Which makes sense since he is the third most popular Jojo.
Irish: He has done quite a lot of things during the 4 months of the Steel Ball Run. He has survived many different situations and faced so many dangerous stand users that even other Jojo's like Jonathan and Joseph probably wouldn't survive it.
Sean: Johnny is pretty strong despite being paralyzed for most of the part even without his stand. For example, Gyro complimented Johnny about his upper body muscles...and that's it.
Irish: Look while Johnny may not have the flashiest strength feats on his own but with Tusk he can cause some serious damage to the human body. For example with Act 1 as we mentioned, By shooting the floor he can create a shockwave strong enough to slice a man clean in half and blow up boulders.
Sean: Act 2 definitely adds to the flashiness of the first Act's bullets since with one shot he can create powerful typhoons and more importantly blew a hole in the side of a hill!
Pop-Up: This was the first time he has used Act 2 so it's possible they could be slightly stronger.
Irish: Which we discovered would require 1,606,987 joules of energy. Or enough to break the strongest bone in the human body, The femur. About 400 times over.
Sean: With Act 3 he becomes very much like Jonathan and can blow chunks out of zombies but Act 4 is really where his strength feats get insane. Because remember how he pummeled D4C like it was McGregor vs Khabib? Well during this he punched D4C so hard it created a big ass crater!
Irish: Now comparing the size of the crater to Tusk's height we were able to figure out the width and height of the crater. With this info, we deduced that Tusk must have been punching at 0.012274374761000000217 Tons of TNT. Which may not sound like a lot but is enough to bust a building.
Sean: Hot damn! Well anyway, Johnny is pretty quick. Now because this a westerner you can expect that Johnny dodges bullets and you are pretty correct since he does it quite a lot.
Irish: Which makes sense since he was able to catch a bottle-cap in his hand when it was imbued with the spin by Gyro but more impressively he was able to dodge shots from Stroheim's bullets gun-hand thing and before you ask yes he is still a German cyborg in this universe.
Sean: ...why did you even mention him catching a bottle cap? Well anyway, yeah while he isn't exactly MFTL like we used to think but I think Bullet-Timing is good enough for Johnny.
Irish: But Johnny's greatest physical trait is his durability. No, seriously this guy can take a lot of damage, He's survived being lit on fire and kept going. He's tanked having a hole blown through his side and kept going and had his arm slashed open by Diego Brando (The dino one) to a point where the corpse part nearly fell out and guess what? He kept on trucking.
Sean: He's survived being stabbed in the face by a fishhook as if it were nothing. He's survived being stabbed by pricks from a cactus into his neck and face and was fine. Don't forget how he survived being dragged around by Slow Dancer (Before it was a good boy to Johnny) for an entire day and night.
Irish: We don't even know how many times, Johnny was smashed against the fence around him throughout that time-span. But his most impressive feat was when he survived being hit by one of Oyecomova's bombs. Why is this impressive? Well because these bombs were just shown to be able to destroy most of a small hotel. Which we figured out would take 132,800,000 Joules of energy.
Sean: Ehh I dunno about that man. Because Johnny was sort of far away from that explosion and Gyro was the one who took the brunt of the explosion and so shouldn't really be able to survive an explosion like that to his face.
Irish: Uhhh I was definitely gonna say that...
Sean: Just like my dumbass co-host, Johnny still has his flaws. For one, he is still human despite his amazing abilities and he can die from injuries that would take you and me out. For example, a boulder.
Joseph: CAEEEESAAAAAAAARRRRR!
Irish: Wrong guy. And don't get cocky you dope. Well anyway, Johnny is shown to be quite reckless throughout the part which doesn't mesh well with how he can panic quite easily when things go wrong for him which even Gyro has criticized him about.
Sean: As for emotional weaknesses, Johnny still has some hang-ups about his big brother's death. So basically if you put him against Mysterio he would deffo lose.
Irish: Besides daddy issues that is his biggest hang-up. Well anyway, Johnny's greatest ability, The Infinite Rotation can be reflected back onto him if his opponent can just manage to touch him back. Which we saw when DIEGO did this very thing with his amputated leg.
Sean: Sorta like the cheese touch.
Irish: ...oddly yeah...Oh, and if you manage to take the Corpse Part out of Johnny's body you will basically take away Tusk basically making him helpless.
Sean: But anyway, Johnny after the events of Part 7 finally decided to settle down with a Japanese woman he met by the name of Rina Higashikata. But when things really went downhill for Johnny he decided to do something that he wouldn't have done at the start of SBR and that's sacrificing himself.
Irish: And that's why Johnny definitely deserves to be a legend in Morioh-Cho. He is the perfect example of self-improvement which is sort of inspiring to somebody like me and many other people who read and heavily enjoyed Johnny Joestar's story.
Johnny: Wouldn't it be wonderful if I could believe that you were a good person?
Izuku Midoriya[]
DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS CREATED WHEN THE LATEST CHAPTER OF THE MANGA WAS 281. THIS BIO ALSO CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE MHA MANGA AND MOVIES. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Irish: Imagine if you will. A world filled to the brim with people that have superhuman abilities. What would it be like, How would our world change because of it?
Sean: Well you don't need to because that question was answered in My Hero Academia. It all began many generations ago when a young girl was born with her skin glowing like a lightbulb. It wasn't long before 80% of the population had these abilities which were soon named Quirks.
Irish: As you can expect the world soon fell to shit because of this massive change. Persecution of people with Quirks became commonplace and crime got more serious. Basically, everything that has been happening in the X-Men comics for the past 60 years.
Sean: But while villains did rise up. So did heroes and it wasn't long before these Superheroes that you would only see in comic books were like celebrities.
Irish: Some of these heroes included the stylish Best Jeanist. The scary looking, Endeavor and even Kamui Woods a guy whose abilities make Giorno and Poison Ivy proud.
Sean: But the greatest hero in this world by far was All Might. Whether it be inhuman strength and his large smile, He not only caused Japan's crime rate to plummet but also inspired nearly every young person in this world to take up heroics. One of these youngsters was, Izuku Midoriya.
Irish: Like most superheroes, Izuku was down one parent. You see his father worked abroad and Izuku didn't really see him much (sounds like Jotaro) and such his mother raised him on her own.
Sean: At an early age young Izuku saw All Might for the first time and he was immediately obsessed. His room was filled with All Might posters and figures but this one man was the reason why Izuku wanted to be a hero more than anything in the world. What could possibly...
Doctor: It's best you give up!
Irish: Yeah~ you remember how 80% of the population had these Quirks. Well unluckily for Izuku he was in that 20% who had no Quirk whatsoever.
Sean: Oh that's...kinda sad...
Irish: Well it gets worse. Izuku never gave up on his dreams always taking notes on any hero which resulted in him being severely bullied by his classmates. Worst of all by one boy, Katsuki Bakugo. Who was a childhood friend of Deku who had the Quirk to make his sweat explode. He was the reason why Midoriya got his now-iconic nickname "Deku".
Pop-Up: The word Deku means a useless person in Japanese. But in the English Dub, it is confirmed that this nickname's origin was Bakugo combining defenseless and Izuku.
Sean: Well one-day Bakugo went too far and not only destroyed Izuku's precious notebook but he also threw it out of the window. Oh and don't forget how he told Midoriya to kill himself. God this is reminding me too much of Spider-Man's origin story.
Irish: This day couldn't get any worse right? Wrong. Because he was attacked by a slime villain who tried to take his body (not in that way you pervert) well at least All Might saved him. Is this where Izuku's day got any better? Course not. Because Midoriya decided to ask All Might if he could become a hero and All Might responded that no he couldn't due to being Quirkless.
Sean: God I really feel bad for this kid. Seriously he's like an even unluckier Spider-Man. But hey at least his bully was kidnapped by that very villain and the first responding heroes including All Might couldn't intervene. I would watch that fucker get killed and if he looks at me I'd smile.
Irish: Uhhh...well thankfully Izuku wasn't that much of a fucking psycho like my colleague and he decided to jump in and try to save Bakugo himself. This action was enough to inspire All Might enough to push past his weakness and save both him and Bakugo with one punch.
Sean: Well turns that All Might was given his Quirk, One for All was given to him and because of Izuku's bravery he decided that he was the perfect person to inherit this ability.
Irish: But Izuku couldn't just take this ability right away. Instead, he would need to train up his body so it could handle this unyielding power. Otherwise, he would explode.
Sean: Oh come now he's probably exa...
Irish: See All Might doesn't lie. Anyway, That's exactly what Izuku did. For 10 months straight he would help move the rubbish that built up over a nearby beach. Which after a while got him fucking ripped.
Sean: Ripped enough for his body to be strong enough to take this power. Now, what was the way to take in such an amazing power? Well...he had to eat All Might's hair. Well since he needed to take in any form of All Might's DNA it could have been worse. It could have been his spit, piss or c...
Irish: DON'T. FUCKING. FINISH. THAT. SENTENCE. (ahem) Well, Izuku gained this ability right on time before the UA entrance exam. Which he only passed because of rescue points.
Sean: Which he did in a flashy manner.
Irish: While yes he did break his arm throwing that punch. It was the beginning of his journey and over his year and a bit in UA, he has learnt quite a bit and keeps growing in power. He's even tangled with a couple of villains a few times. He couldn't have even got into UA without One For All...
Sean: So let's talk about it.
Irish: Before we do that some history is in order. You see when Quirks first began to manifest the main villain of the series transferred a powerful ability onto his Quirkless brother.
Sean: And this ability was called One for All. The same one you see today. Ever since then it has been passed down from generation to generation each time becoming stronger than before. Which basically means that Deku's version of this quirk is the strongest so far.
Irish: While thanks to One for All he gained super strength, speed as you would probably know but what you might not know is that Deku will eventually inherit the Quirks of all the previous users. Which means that Deku in the near future will gain 6 more Quirks.
Sean: Lucky kid. He's going from one power to fucking nine!
Irish: But so far he has only gained two abilities so far. His Superhuman physical stats which rival the might of...well All Might but he also gained the Black Whip.
Sean: Sounds kinky.
Irish: No you perv it's essentially Spider-Man's webs but bigger.
Sean: Yeah~ sure...
Irish: Ugh. Well anyway, One for All can only be transferred onto people with the consent of the previous user which basically means that any person who can take Superpowers would be fucked.
Sean: Well except for users of All for One like Shigaraki who can take it whenever they please.
Irish: It also has shown to help Deku resist against mind control. Which it does by almost egging on Deku so he can force himself to move. Like we saw in the UA Sports Festival. A good thing too because that would have essentially ruined that entire arc.
Sean: The biggest problem with this immense power is that it can backfire onto poor Izuku and break his bones from the force...and this tended to happen to him a lot.
Irish: Luckily he's since learnt how to go as high as 20% without breaking his bones. Well, he can go higher but we will go over that big thing later on.
Sean: But don't get it twisted just because Deku has all this power don't think that he's like Superman and doesn't pack any heat. Hell, he's like Batman with the equipment he has.
Irish: Great transition there mate. Well anyway, yeah Deku has an impressive arsenal for a slugger. For one we have his first costume. Costume Gamma which is an upgrade of his Saitama-Esque first costume to more suit his new fighting style, Shoot Style.
Sean: These improvements included new arm braces that protect them from further damage. (Due to the whole if he breaks his arms any more times he's fucked, thing)
Irish: On his boots, he has Iron Soles. Yes, he jumps around the place with fucking iron on his feet. Well instead of just breaking his ankles each time he lands, These iron soles are made to not only strengthen his kicks but also to bounce him off surfaces so he can get an extra kick in.
Sean: And an extra kick from an Iron sole won't feel nice. Trust me I would know.
Irish: Wait...how do you know how that feels?
Sean: Well...I owed some people money in Vegas...
Irish: Say no more friend because I would rather not get killed by the mob. Well on Deku's hands are his ever so useful Air Force Gloves. While they appear to just be regular gloves don't underestimate them because they allow Deku to shoot off his Delaware Smash without too much injury.
Sean: And it also allows him to fire off these air blasts like a shotgun blast.
Irish: But Izuku's greatest weapon wasn't created by Hatsume, instead it was created by Melissa Shield and this weapon is called the Full Gauntlet. Inspired by All Might's brute strength, Melissa decided to create a support item that could withstand his power.
Sean: Instead of getting into the comically oversized hands of All Might it was worn by his disciple. And oh boy he really needed this thing more than Toshinori did.
Irish: The Full Gauntlet is basically a support item which allows Deku to go full power without injuring himself during a battle. And this baby is tough. Really god damn tough. Melissa stated that it can take 3 full-powered punches from All Might before breaking.
Sean: Thankfully cause Izuku...never figured out how to take it off...
Irish: There are worse pieces of clothing to get stuck on you.
Sean: But where Deku shines is his Super Moves. One of these being the Delaware Smash. This move involves Deku flicking his fingers to create a powerful gust of wind strong enough to blow up Todorki's ice.
Irish: Back when Deku first used this technique it would originally break his fingers after each usage. However, thanks to his aforementioned Air Force gloves he can use this technique a lot more effectively with less risk on his fingers. Hell, he can even use it to catapult himself at his foes.
Sean: He's even shown to be able to fire off a blast with each finger. Well, fuck one of those blasts would have been hard enough but imagine having to face against 4 of them at once.
Pop-Up: It does require 20% to use effectively
Irish: Anyway, Deku's next super move was his Detroit Smash. Which is basically a supercharged punch like All Might, instead with an uppercut.
Sean: By supercharged, he really does mean it since with one Detroit Smash he was able to create a powerful gust of wind strong enough to blow the top off a building.
Irish: His next move actually isn't used for combat. Instead, it is used for improved movements. This move is called the Wall Jump and as you can tell by this name it allows Deku to jump between walls as if he were Spider-Man. Fun fact this move was based off the game Megaman X.
Sean: Lotta references to video games in My Hero now that I think about it...
Irish: During the start of Deku's career as a hero most of his attacks would cause intense damage to his body. Sure he initially came up with the idea to focus all of his power on one point but that isn't really that handy in battle. But when he trained with All Might's mentor, Gran Torino he came up with the ultimate technique to stop himself from injury and that's Full Cowling.
Sean: He came up with the idea of this ability by...looking at a cracker in a microwave...like I mean if it works it works but this kid doesn't really seem to have a great imagination does he?
Irish: Yeah he isn't writing fiction novels that's for sure. Anyway back onto Full Cowling. To explain how it works, Think of One for All as a car if you go full speed all the time you'll fuck up the car. But if you slowly raise the speed of the car it becomes more manageable
Sean: Swap out MPH to percents and that's basically how it works. Anyway, with this, he becomes a lot more agile in combat and it increases his strength and speed without the risk of breaking his bones. Initially, he could only use 5% but over time he increased it to 8% and finally his limit now, 20%.
Irish: Full Cowling's increased agility meshes pretty well with his new fighting style called Shoot Style. Inspired by Tenya Iida's fighting style, Shoot Style involves only kicks in battles.
Pop-Up: This was created so Deku wouldn't injure his arms in combat.
Sean: What's pretty cool about the Shoot Style is that he can cause more damage than with his arms due to legs having more muscles than arms. It's easy to see why he then created two kick based attacks. One of them is called St. Louis Smash which is where he leaps into the air and roundhouse's his foes head in.
Irish: Another kick attack that he has in his arsenal is the Manchester Smash which is effectively a fully powered kick to the back of a foe's head. Which if used right could be fatal.
Sean: Well yeah any attack from him would be fatal dumbass.
Irish: Cocky dick. Well anyway, let's go over the Black Whip which no is not anything sexual for any of you perverts. Instead, it is very much like tendrils that are good for grappling. He inherited this quirk from its original user named Daigoro Banjo.
Sean: Wait Banjo in My Hero!?
Irish: No his name is just Banjo. (cough) Well, it can also be used for swinging around the place like the Anime Spider-Man that he is. They're strong enough to hold up cars, bus' and a handful of people without too much trouble. But in the near future, he will inherit the Quirk of All Might's master, Nana Shimura: Float. Which is where he could basically fly. However, this will not be taken into account due to the fact that he has not even inherited that Quirk yet.
Sean: Yeah yeah. All those moves are fucking child's play compared to his greatest move. 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash! If 100% can smash open villains like they are rodents imagine what he can do with 1,000,000%!! It must be like some Continent Busting...
Irish: Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not how it worked. Kohei Horikoshi confirmed himself that it was more of a battle cry than Deku actually going 1,000,000%.
Sean: See this is why you don't have a girlfriend. You ruin everyone's fun!
Irish: Alright dick why don't we go over his actual strongest form. Full Cowling 100%!
Sean: *mumble angrily*
Irish: I think what my rude co-host meant to say was that Full Cowling 100% is easily Izuku's strongest form which you could probably tell because of the name.
Sean: I called you a dickhead. Well anyway, yeah you are right that it's his strongest form by far. It increases his already insane speed and strength to a point where he can bat around Overhaul even when he was bigger than a building. He can even use air pressure to fly in the sky like Superman.
Irish: He sorta looks like a Super Sayain doesn't he?
Sean: Yeah my boy is truly looking like a real Shonen Hero!
Irish: Now you may be saying that Deku can only access this form thanks to Eri. While yes he did in that one scene but in the movie Heroes Rising he can use it just fine.
Sean: So he's pretty much powering through the pain.
Irish: Which is pretty impressive. To show just how impressive this is before the filming of this episode I injected my co-host with a bit of All Might's DNA.
Sean: YOU WHAT!?
(As he says this his body suddenly glows green while his hair stands up straight)
Irish: Awesome that you are already able to get to this level after such a short amount of t-
Sean: Oh don't try and kiss my arse cause I'm gonna give you a little payback for that little Infinite Rotation deal you did to me. I'm gonna whoop you so hard!
(Sean reels his fist back as he smiles an evil grin)
Irish: Are you sure you want to do that? It's gonna hurt you more than me.
Sean: Oh yeah? Midoriya is a kid. I'm a god damn man. That must mean that my bones won't break from that pressure. It makes total sense.
Irish: Well be my guest...
(Sean shouts as he throws a punch at Irish which was intercepted by a forcefield. The force of the attack broke Sean's arm in half making him jump back in pain changing him back to his base form.)
Sean: YOU MOTHER FUCKER YOU KNEW THAT WOULD HAPPEN!
Irish: I did Sean and you fell right for my trap. Don't worry I'll heal you up in a minute.
Sean: I'll get you someday.
Irish: Yeah sure you will. Now it is entirely possible that Deku was only able to move around all willy nilly because he had just transferred One for All to Bakugo.
Sean: *Wincing* I doubt it though since it takes a lot longer than that for All Might to lose One for All. Nearly a year after he had transferred One for All to Deku so it's not possible that Deku's strength would deplete that much after only handing Bakugo that power a few minutes previous.
Irish: Plus it's even stated at the end of the film that it didn't fully transfer to Bakugo due to the fact that he was knocked unconscious before it could take effect.
Sean: But whether weakened or full-powered Deku is a fucking beast. Hell without his Quirk he was strong enough to tear through a Victory Bot with just a piece of armor. And that's pretty fucking impressive since immediately afterwards a piece of armor from these bots could tank 0.18 tons of TNT without a scratch.
Irish: But obviously with his Quirk, he's even stronger. How strong will he is casually able to hold open an Orca's bite. Orcas have a bite force of 19,000 PSI and that's one of his less impressive feats. On the higher end, he's strong enough to create a 632 Foot tall vortex with just a kick. Judging by the height and radius of this vortex it would take Deku 48 tons to create something of that size.
Sean: In these lower levels of Full Cowling he can kick rocks in half with ease and he was able to harm Bakugo with his kicks. The same Bakugo who survived his own 1.28 Tons of TNT explosion straight to the face without a scratch. And when he was thrown by Bakugo at Nine he kicked him so hard he created a shockwave.
Irish: But things really get serious when he goes 100% because he rivals the strength of All Might. This is backed up with how it took 3 full powered punches to destroy the Full Gauntlet which was created to tank 3 punches from All Might. If that isn't enough evidence it's already been stated by Endeavor. And since Endeavor has been trying to match All Might for years it's very likely he would know.
Sean: Remember that's the same guy who can send a villain made of slime into the stratosphere and change the fucking weather with his punches.
Irish: But Izuku's greatest feat was when he and Bakugo were able to completely disperse Nine's storm which was shown to completely encompass the island they were on.
Pop-Up: This level of power is backed up by the fact that he scales to All for One who is considered as a master by Gigantomachia, a guy the size of a mountain.
Sean: Now I know what your thinking. That can't be too impressive right? Well, I thought that too but apparently it takes a fucking hydrogen bombs!
Irish: But Deku can back this strength up with his speed. See he's fast enough to dodge point-blank machine-gun fire with ease and he scales to Mirio who was able to dodge bullets with ease. So as you can tell he can dodge bullets like any other Superhero.
Sean: Well at 8% he can move so fast that Bakugo stated that he "Couldn't dodge in time" and he could even keep up with Endeavor who was able to move before sound could reach Deku and his colleagues and he could dodge...all of this...what was even happening here?
Irish: Honestly no clue just that he dodged a lotta shit. Anyway, at 100% he gets even faster. He can completely blitz Overhaul and hit him before he could even react and in the video game: One's Justice 2 he was faster than Kaminari's electricity.
Sean: While electricity moving through the air isn't as fast as lightning or lightspeed it still is pretty fast. Like we are talking speeds of Mach 11 or 8,415 MPH!
Irish: Now it's very unlikely that he even needs to go 100% to be able to dodge Kaminari's electricity due to the fact that his classmate, Tokoyami was able to block this electricity with his Dark Shadow. And since Bakugo was faster than Tokoyami and Deku at 8% was faster than Bakugo, Our theory stays strong.
Sean: But at 100% Deku scales to All Might who makes that Mach 11 look like a snail. Since he can jump from the Might Tower to the Tokyo Sky Egg at speeds of Mach 26 and later on he was able to blitz multiple villains at speeds of over Mach 30. That's 30 times faster than the fastest planes on Earth.
Irish: Deku is famously durable though. He is known for breaking his bones constantly but this doesn't stop him from fighting. Hell during his fight against Todoroki he continued using the Delaware Smash despite the fact he broke all of his fingers.
Sean: He's survived being stabbed by Overhaul's spikes without too much trouble oh and remember that explosion Bakugo survived. Well, that explosion was meant for Deku and he was completely fine afterwards.
Irish: He has also survived being stabbed in the head by Bakugo which went in so deep that his grey matter was oozing out. Although this is very likely a gag feat.
Sean: Still that looked like it fucking hurt. Oh and he's tanked punches from All Might without too much injury. Sure he was holding back at the time and was being weighed down by the arm bracelets he was wearing but that's pretty impressive since just before he did this.
Irish: But a person who wasn't holding back was Shigaraki when he was using All for One and this punch was strong enough to make him spew blood.
Sean: You know the way how it's very likely for you to be struck by lightning? Well, Deku has been struck by lightning from a villain named Nine not once...but twice! And although he was pretty injured after the first time it's pretty impressive that he even survived in the first place.
Irish: But even with all these feats and strengths. Deku has his flaws.
Sean: Yeah see he is still a human and despite being stabbed in the head before he still can be killed by regular injuries that would take me or you out.
Irish: While his strength is great for battle it can very much be a double-edged sword. Since if he puts too much power into his punches or kicks it will break his bones. Which is made even worse that if he breaks his arms three more times he won't be able to use them for the rest of his life.
Sean: While the Shoot Style is a great fighting style it still has its limits. As Bakugo says it has too much of a wind-up for each attack not only making his moves more predictable but also making it not great in a slugfest.
Irish: But his worst weakness is that he can't dance...oh and that people keep calling him a simp.
Sean: I'm sad that we even have to mention this.
Irish: But despite this Izuku is truly on the path to becoming a great hero. While he has a long way to go before he can call himself the symbol of peace and he still has to defeat the League of Villains. And I know that Izuku will face these problems without fear and say "Plus Ultra!"
Deku: If I can't even save a little girl standing right before my eyes... then how can I possibly become a Hero that saves everyone?!!!
Intermission[]
Irish: Alright after 4 months of research it's finally time to get onto the show!
Sean: Will Johnny's Spin be enough to give him the win or will Deku be able to smash the Joestar. Well enough talk let's finally find out how this passion fight will end.
Irish: It's time for a Death Battle!

Location: New York City (Steel Ball Run)
Night soon fell upon the most popular city on earth. While the usual chatter and sounds of footsteps of hundreds of people had retired many hours earlier, The sounds of beeping horns still echoed across the almost empty streets. The silence lasted for a very short amount of time as the gap between sounds was filled with dog's barking. What they were barking at is completely unknown and it ultimately doesn't matter.
But one thing that matters to the story was a large metal truck that came to a stop. Suddenly, the back of the truck opened allowing a ramp to fall to the floor creating a path for its occupants. The first to leave the truck was a young man with blonde spiky hair that wore giant gauntlets that looked akin to grenades. The young man sneered at his surroundings and proceeded to walk down the steps allowing the rest of his colleagues to walk out.
The sounds of metal tapping echoed across the streets caused by the exiting occupants. The last three students to leave were close friends all chatting to each other. One was a tall man that wore armor that made him look like a knight with engines on his calves, The other was a younger girl with brown hair and rosy cheeks but the most important to this story was a short teenage boy with long unkempt green hair which matched his green costume which was decorated with long-sleeved gloves colored white, a red belt that was tied around his waist and his legs were concealed by kneepads that go all the way up to his thighs.
Beneath this armor on his legs were his iconic red runners that were held closed by black shoelaces. While his plain appearance may give you the impression that he was some youngster dressing up for Halloween but you would be completely wrong. Instead, He was the disciple of the former greatest hero in history called All Might and inheritor of his all-powerful quirk named One for All. This boy's name is Izuku Midoriya AKA "Deku".
Since all of the students of Class 1A came from Japan its reasonable to ask why they were here in their hero uniforms. Well, the reason was simple:
Flashback - A few days previous!
Instead of wearing their costumes, The students of Class 1A were wearing their school uniforms and sitting on their desks looking forward towards their teacher...who didn't look the part of either a teacher or a hero. His long and unkempt black hair along with his stubble of a beard and the bags in his eyes made it look like he had woken up just a few minutes prior. (Which is probably accurate).
Eraserhead shuffled through the pages on his desk groggily further giving evidence of the theory that he had just woken up. "Morning class. So the department has recommended that you guys do more hero work in America..." seconds after Aizawa said this the class erupted in cheers of excitement at the thought of doing more missions and in America no less. But this outburst was enough to annoy Aizawa to a point where his eyes glowed red while his scarf and hair stood upwards. "Listen before you start celebrating!"
That celebration immediately ceased as the class fell silent. With that Aizawa coughed and continued. "Anyway, We will be going to America to protect an artefact while it's being moved to a more secure location!" Aizawa began immediately catching the class' attention. "I feel like you guys must know but this artefact is the corpse of a saint that we believe to be Jesus Christ!"
This statement was enough to cause some members of the class to gasp in shock while Bakugo just stood up. "So we're just protecting the body of some asshole from 2000 years ago?!" Bakugo snarled aggressively. Normally a teacher would scold his student for saying this...but Eraserhead didn't really care. "Ever since this corpse has been discovered it has been performing miracles. Healing wounds and illness' and giving people Quirks and as you can tell many villains would love something like that!"
With this Bakugo sat down an evil smirk grew on his face. "Right so does everyone have any more questions? Good." Aizawa said as he started off the first lesson of the day.
Present Day!
All of the students stood together, No one saying a word as they waited for orders from their teacher who had just stepped out of the truck accompanied by a group of police officers. "Okay. So you guys are going to be separated into groups just so we can guard more ground!" Eraserhead began as he looked towards his students. "Kaminari, Mineta. You will be guarding that street over there!" Aizawa said as he pointed north.
"Tokoyami, Ojiro, Shoji. You will be guarding the street over there..." Aizawa stated once again as he pointed south. Aizawa made his way through the list of students ordering them to go to many different streets that surrounded the route that the truck holding the corpse would take. "And finally. Midoriya, Ururaka, Todoroki and Iida you will be waiting outside the building." Aizawa finished his rollcall as he pulled down his goggles. "Alright with all that said. If any of you see anything suspicious report it to me!"
"Right!" The class shouted in sync as they all separated to go their routes. Leaving only Deku, Ururaka, Todorki and Iida standing beside each other while Aizawa made his way inside the building containing the corpse with a group of police officers beside him. "This Jesus Christ guy must be pretty important..." Todoroki said without any tone in his voice despite the confused looks that he received because of his statement.
Literally down the road, Kaminari and Mineta were walking forward looking for anything suspicious. Kaminari strode confidently down the road with a smile on his face while Mineta followed behind with his arms crossed. "I swear dude I got scammed. The only reason I came here is cause I wanted to see some hot American babes!" Mineta pouted as Kaminari continued his confident walk. "Don't worry man the night is young. We might see some ladies along the way and we get to do some hero work. It's a win-win m..." Before Kaminari could even finish his sentence he heard the sound of a glass bottle shattering from around the corner.
Mineta and Kaminari jumped with shock as their widened eyes met. Without saying a word, Kaminari nervously ran forward towards where he heard the sound while Mineta tore a ball from his head. Denki was the first to arrive to the scene as he turned the corner and stared into the pitch-black alleyway. Kaminari almost didn't see anything in the seemingly infinite blackness of the alleyway until that was when he saw it...or rather him. A darkened silhouette standing about 20-feet-away from him.
While Kaminari couldn't see any of the features of this person he knew immediately that he was bad news. In a flash, Kaminari pointed his fingers towards the foe in a manner similar to a gun hand. Electricity crackled from the tips of his fingers as he gritted his teeth in fear. "H-Hey buddy...where the hell do you think you're going?!" Kaminari whimpered, trying to sound confident...and failing miserably. "Y-Yeah you better get outta here!" Mineta said failing, even more, to be threatening than Kaminari. His cracking voice completely ruined that plan. The man didn't say a thing, instead, he walked towards the two heroes in training.
"H-hey d-don't come any closer!" Kaminari commanded panic rising in his voice as the figure took closer steps towards them. It soon became visible to Kaminari and Mineta that the man was wearing a black cloak that billowed behind him. He appeared to be keeping his hands on the hood, trying to make sure it wouldn't fall down thanks to the wind. "I'm warning you..." Kaminari bellowed once again as he tried to keep his trembling hand steady. Suddenly the man whistled making the students jump. But before they could question what was happening...
CRASH!
Both Kaminari and Mineta were effectively mowed down by an Appaloosa horse running at top speeds. The large creature neighed as it smashed into the two students sending them bouncing against the concrete, Only stopping in front of the mysterious figure. The silhouette put his hand on the horse's forehead and patted it as a sign of appreciation before he then walked past it.
Denki was immediately knocked out as he took the brunt of the collision while Mineta was still conscious although just barely. The Ball Throwing Hero tried to crawl away from the scene but he was interrupted when he was grabbed by his cape. Mineta cringed as he was smashed against a brick wall, At that moment he almost wished that he had never put a cape on his costume. "Answer my questions and you will live...but if you try to hesitate I'll shoot you in the head!" The mysterious figure threatened.
As Mineta heard this he felt something pressed against his chin. Mineta looked down only to see two fingers decorated by pink stars with blue nails pointing at his chin. Grape Juice laughed nervously as he looked at the darkened face of his attacker. "Y-you don't actually think that's a real gun do y---?"
Before Mineta could finish his nervous taunt he suddenly heard the sound of a gunshot blasting the pavement. The cause? Was the mysterious man's smoking pointer finger. Sweat drilled down from Grape Juice's face as he felt the two fingers pressed against his jaw once again. "Now if you want to live another day kid you will answer this one question..." The mysterious man began as he stuck his fingers deeper into Mineta's jaw threatening.
"Where is that 'corpse' going?"
Back down the road, Izuku walked around the perimeter of the building. Iida was nearly jogging around the street until he stopped. What he saw was the previous mysterious figure trotting towards him on the back of a horse. Now a person just walking down the street would have been cause for concern but this was screaming danger for Iida as he turned to his colleagues. "Uh, guys..."
Todoroki was the first to turn around and looked at the distant figure with a look of confusion on his face as the horseman came slowly closer and closer. "Creepy" Ururaka mumbled as she and Midoriya looked at this approaching figure. "Excuse me, sir. You should turn around and leave otherwise we will have to make you leave!" Shoto threatened coldly as a cold mist formed around his right side.
But Shoto's threats were seemingly ignored as the figure came closer and closer, his black cloak becoming more visible with each passing second. Todoroki knew that this was bad news without further interrogating this intruder so he swiped his hand upwards creating a large wall of ice that covered the entire street. Silence fell between the group of young heroes as they awaited for any noise, any noise at all. After a few seconds, this silence was interrupted by the sounds of hooves clopping against the concrete.
The source was a horse that ran to the left side of the ice wall. This took the heroes attention away long enough for the figure to seemingly appear right in front of Todoroki. Shoto eyes narrowed with determination as he swung his left hand creating a large flame and firing it towards the criminal. But the figure was too quick and managed to jump away from the blast. Leaving his cloak to be incinerated.
This mysterious figure finally revealed his appearance as he jumped across the street. His long blonde hair was covered by a blue knit cap which was dotted with multiple stars and a large gold horseshoe imprinted on the front. The rest of the man's clothes were a similar shade of blue with stars lining the entire outfit. But what was the most distinguishing feature of this man was his deep blue eyes which had a look of murderous determination. This man's name was very popular in the equestrian scene. This man was the legendary Johnny "Joe-Kid" Joestar.
"Iida warn Mr Aizawa!" Todoroki yelled making sure to keep his eyes on Johnny at all times. "Right!" Iida responded as he bolted into the building. "What are you with the League of Villains?!" Todoroki growled as he swung his flame imbued arm. But mid-swing Johnny pointed out his finger and shot his nail towards Todoroki. "What the hell!?" Immediately after Shoto said this to himself, He suddenly felt the nail burrowing into his wrist.
Todoroki gritted his teeth as he attempted to keep the motion of his hand going...only to realise that his arm wasn't moving. Suddenly, Shoto's arm twisted unnaturally to a point where his hand was pointing towards his face. Before Todoroki could stop his previous attack his entire head was soon engulfed by flame. Todoroki yelled in agony as he fell backwards, knocked out as soon as he hit the floor.
"TODOROKI!" Midoriya yelled as he charged towards Johnny at top speed with Ochako following behind. Thinking fast, Johnny grabbed hold of the unconscious Todoroki's collar and with his own strength mixed with the spin, he flung him towards the two heroes. With the sounds of Midoriya and Ururaka's yells and the crashing afterwards, Johnny was confident that he was safe so he ran to the building at top speed.
Johnny breathed heavily as he made his way down the cobblestone steps that made its way through to the bunker holding the corpse. Jojo stopped as he heard the sound of rapidly approaching steps. The Joestar was quick to aim his finger at the ground and fire three shots. Now, this would usually be a pretty stupid move but within a second the bullet hole suddenly began to move down the stairs. Johnny stood still as he listened for any noise and after a few seconds he heard the screams of multiple men accompanied by a group of gunshots.
The Joestar finished this trip down the stairs and was met by the sight of many police officers rolling around the floor with blood oozing from the wounds in their legs, arms etc. The Jojo ran towards the safe and pulled a suitcase from behind him. Johnny was soon interrupted by a powerful kick to the temple sending him skidding against the floor. "What the hell do you want with this corpse!?" Aizawa growled as he activated his quirk.
"It's none of your concern!" Johnny yelled as he fired off some of his nails, Using Act 1 so he doesn't waste any ammo. "So that isn't a quirk..." Aizawa acknowledged to himself as he used his scarf to grab hold of Johnny's wrist. The Jojo suddenly imbued the spin into his fist and with all his might he punched Aizawa in the face. Eraserhead's cheek began to spin inwards like a flushing toilet which caused his jaw to crack. Aizawa groaned in pain and within a second he was sent flying into the roof, defeated.
Johnny spat blood onto the floor as he walked towards the safe once again and picked up a suitcase that was lying on the floor a few feet away from him. Jojo picked up this corpse and packed into the suitcase and attempted to walk away only to be interrupted by footsteps. Johnny huffed as he turned around and saw Ururaka standing a few feet away from him, almost shaking with fear.
"I-I have to stop you..." Ururaka mumbled with fear as she took on a combat stance. "Look, kid. I don't want to kill you but if you get in the way of helping somebody I care about. I won't hesitate to kill you!" Johnny's threat was enough to make Ururaka vomit from fear. Johnny walked confidently passed the quivering heroine and prepared his escape only to be stopped by a powerful kick to the face. Blood spurt from Jojo's lips as he was sent flying to the ground. Looking up he saw Midoriya, coated in green lightning landing a few feet away.
"Ururaka, Get everybody else. I'll hold him off!" Midoriya yelled which Ochako responded with a nod as she ran up the stairs. Johnny wiped his bloodied mouth as he stood back up. "You little shit...I will get past you by any means necessary!" Johnny threatened as his fingers began to spin like a fan. Izuku gritted his teeth as he activated Full Cowling: "And I will stop you by any means necessary!" Deku responded through gritted teeth as he charged towards Johnny leaving a cloud of dust where he stood.
With one growl, Deku raised his leg up for one second in mid-air before he brought it back down like a sledgehammer. Johnny's eyes widened as the electrified leg came closer and closer towards his face, The seventh Jojo was quick to react as he rolled away. Half a second later Deku's foot smashed against the pavement causing shards of rock to blast across the room like an explosion. The Joestar raised his hand into the air and pointed his finger once again as he activated Act 1. With the speed of an outlaw in a western, Johnny fired his nail bullets at Midoriya.
The speeding nails spun across the air with the speed of a tornado towards Deku. All Might's disciple jumped into the air almost by instinct, Allowing the bullets to embed themselves in the ground. But Johnny didn't let this bother him as he continued firing shots at Midoriya with such velocity that he appeared to be like a machine gun. Deku flipped through each shot just barely avoiding being hit.
Between each movement, Deku flicked his fingers causing a concussive wave of air to blast in Johnny's direction. "Shit!" Johnny cursed as he used the spin to force himself to backflip into the air, allowing him to just barely avoid this wave of destruction. Johnny sighed with relief as he came closer and closer to the ground but this relief soon turned to shock as he felt his back being grabbed. With Johnny literally in his hands, Deku wasn't going to let this chance fly by as he reeled his fist back.
"DETROIT SMASH!" Midoriya yelled as he slammed his fist against Johnny's spine at full force. The seventh Jojo yelped in agony as he felt his skin being burnt by Full Cowling's electricity. Before he could even process just how much pain he was in, Johnny was suddenly sent flying backwards with such speed that a trail of air followed his flying body. Luckily, Johnny wasn't flying for too long...but the landing wasn't really nice as he soon bounced against the brick wall on the other side of the room.
Johnny winced as he fell on his fours on the floor. "That kid's got a punch on him...I'll give him that but strength seems to be all he's got...I need to get him in a situation where he can't use his strength..." The Joestar deduced in his head as he saw Midoriya charging towards him, Not letting his guard down. Johnny once again imbued the spin around his right arm and proceeded to touch the floor. Midoriya obviously looked down and within a second he was soon forced into the air, spinning like a fan throughout his trip to the other side of the room.
Izuku regained his composure in the air as he landed on the floor a few feet away from Johnny electricity still bursting from his body. Midoriya locked eyes with the Joestar as he prepared to pounce on his foe. Johnny stood tall as he pointed his "handgun" at Izuku, breathing heavily. Johnny signified that he was ready for battle by spitting on the floor and firing a shot towards Deku. The Young Hero acted quickly as once again he jumped into the air managing to avoid the shot...or did he?
Midoriya had the feeling in his stomach that he should turn his head and when he did he saw the bullet hole created by Johnny's nail slowly crawling up onto the wall. Deku's eyes widened as he suddenly saw the bullet hole firing a nail towards him. "How!?" Deku pondered aloud as he turned around in the air, He didn't have time to question this as the nail blitzed through the air towards him at speeds even faster than before. Just by instinct, Midoriya put his leg up effectively allowing his foot to basically cover his face...
BANG!
Just in time to block the bullet. Thankfully his Iron Soles cushioned the force of the nail causing it to bounce off. But the Iron Sole wasn't undamaged as a small dent remained from the attempted assassination. But Deku didn't let this catch him off guard as he landed on the floor only to see three more of those bullet holes rapidly approaching him at top speeds. Thinking fast, Deku suddenly kicked the floor causing a chunk of concrete to basically pop out. Midoriya picked this rock up and slammed it down towards the bullet holes.
Within that second, The bullet holes spewed out the nails at top speed towards Midoriya's head. Deku's quick thinking effectively allowed him to plug up the bullets saving him from being turned into a pincushion. The force of the nails slamming against the rock caused the concrete to smash into tiny pieces in Midoriya's hands. Izuku grabbed hold of a chunk of rock and with all of his might he flung it at "Joe-Kid".
Johnny grunted in pain as the slab of concrete smashed against his head causing it to smash into even smaller pieces. The Jojo stumbled backwards in pain as his left eye was soon covered by his crimson blood. When Johnny's vision finally returned back to normal he soon saw Deku rocketing towards him reeling his leg back so he could nail him in the head with a kick. Johnny jumped with shock as he put his hands up like a boxer. But this didn't help him when Deku's foot diverted course and smashed against his torso.
The force of the attack seemingly rippled across Johnny's skin like waves in an ocean. Johnny's eyes nearly bulged out of his skull as he practically fell off of Midoriya's foot. But Deku wasn't done as his next attack was aimed straight towards Johnny's jaw. This kick felt even worse for Johnny as he felt his opponent's foot basically burrow itself into his jaw. A soft groan of pain escaped Johnny's lips as he tried to keep standing up.
Next up on Deku's list was Johnny's attacks. All Might's disciple squatted down so low he was staring at Johnny's knee. With all the strength he could muster, Deku kicked the stumbling Johnny's leg causing him to finally lose balance. Midoriya decided to finish this combo by throwing a powerful uppercut which soon found itself home in Johnny's back. "SMASH!" Deku growled through gritted teeth as he used his fist to effectively send Johnny flying upwards with such force...
CRASH!
That he completely smashed through the roof of the bunker causing small pebbles of the roof to fall onto Deku as he looked up. But soon the once Johnny sized hole began to expand as a web of cracks began to cover the roof but thankfully it still stood tall. Not wanting to lose Johnny, Deku knelt down and with all the strength he could muster in his legs he jumped into the air. Midoriya easily cleared through the hole and landed onto the road and looked around the entire street, trying to find Johnny.
But before he could find Johnny, Johnny found him as he soon felt Slow Dancers' hooves smashing against his cheek. Izuku felt his entire head rattle before he landed a couple of feet away from Johnny and his steed. Midoriya pushed himself up and wiped the blood from his lips and looked up. What he saw was Johnny atop Slow Dancer charging towards him at top speed with the intent of running him over.
Not wanting to you know get run over, Deku growled as he leapt forward towards Johnny like a bullet. Midoriya then outstretched his left foot with the intent of hitting Johnny like a spear. Joe-Kid didn't let this bother him as he increased Slow Dancer's speed. "No matter how tough he is. He isn't tough enough to survive getting trampled..." Johnny thought to himself as he glared towards his adolescent rival.
Green electricity soon enveloped Izuku's leg as he came closer and closer towards Johnny's head. Despite this the Joestar kept his cool, His eyes narrowed as the distance between the two began to close. But at the last second, Johnny directed his horse to move to the right. Within the second, Slow Dancer nearly leapt to the left narrowly avoiding the now wide open Deku. Before Midoriya could react he soon felt his leg getting grabbed by the Jojo. "Got you!" Johnny announced as he slammed Deku against the concrete.
Midoriya yelped as he bounced off the road but before he could recover or even say anything he soon felt that he was being dragged across the floor at speeds of 41 Miles Per Hour. A trail of dust and cracked rock followed behind Slow Dancer as Johnny dragged Deku along effectively keeping him from escaping. With all the strength he could muster, Johnny flung Izuku's limp form into the air.
Johnny pointed his finger once again and activated Act 2. While Izuku was in mid-air Johnny fired 2 shots directed into the young hero's stomach. It took a second before these bullets made themselves home in Midoriya's stomach causing blood to explode from his wounds. Midoriya gritted his teeth in pain as gravity soon took effect as he smashed against the road. This didn't stop there as the momentum effectively bounced Young Midoriya across the street like a ball until he finally stopped 20 feet away from Johnny and his steed.
Jojo soon stopped his horse and turned towards the heavily bleeding Superhero. "I'm sorry kid. I didn't want to kill you...but you forced my hand..." Johnny said solemnly as he proceeded to trot towards the direction of the bunker, If he was quick enough he could maybe outrun Izuku's classmates...well he might have...if he wasn't hit by a blast of air straight in the side of the head.
The force of this attack nearly knocked Jojo off his horse but thankfully he was able to hold on just slightly. Johnny gritted his teeth in anger as he turned to look at his foe who just previously was on the floor dying. But now he was just standing up with two dark holes in his stomach with crimson liquid pouring out of it only barely being covered by his palm. Midoriya began to breathe heavily as he looked towards the angered Joestar. "It's...going to take...a lot more than that to take me out!" Izuku growled through deep breaths.
Johnny spat a blob of blood out from his mouth as he then charged towards Midoriya at top speed once again. Midoriya stood his ground as he watched the horse coming closer towards him, almost like he was daring him to hit him. Johnny activated Act 2 once again as he fired shots towards the floor which soon blitzed towards Midoriya like miniature black holes. Deku stood tall as he then with all the might he could muster he smashed his foot against the concrete causing it to crack like glass.
Soon the road began to break apart and rise upwards basically creating a wall of concrete. Johnny's eyes widened as he forced Slow Dancer to halt so it wouldn't break its ankles. The sudden stop caused Slow Dancer to yell out and nearly bucked the Joestar. "What sorta st---" Before Johnny could question this he soon felt his collar being grappled which soon caused him to be dragged across the air.
The Joestar yelped in fear as he soon realized that he was flying across the air thanks to Deku who was now completely engulfed by green lightning once again. Johnny had no time to react before he was then slammed against the floor with all the strength he could muster. The result of Deku's chokeslam was a large wall of smoke which covered Johnny's bruised body lying above a crater. Johnny finally managed to regain his composure and managed to escape from Izuku's grasp with a panicked elbow to the cheek.
Deku let go for just a second out of nature, This was enough time for Johnny to scramble away peppering bullets towards the Superhero. While Midoriya may have been dazed but he still managed to dodge the shots just in time. But when Izuku landed he soon felt his cheek being cut open by a stray shot. This distracted him long enough to be smacked once again by a Spin Imbued slap which sent him...well spinning.
Johnny decided to take his chance and fired off a shot towards Deku. But Midoriya was quick enough to deflect the bullet once again with his sole sending it burrowing into a wall. "It's time I take it up a notch. Full Cowling 8%!" Deku yelled as his lightning aura began to grow larger. "I'll end this!" Johnny growled as he aimed his finger once again but he soon realized that he had run out of nails. "Shit!" Johnny cursed as he looked at his fingers for just a second, When he looked back at Midoriya he soon saw him charging towards him, Heel first.
Johnny gritted his teeth in preparation for the pain he was going to feel...
Deku brought his foot down on Johnn like an anvil, Clipping the jockey in the skull. The sheer force of the attack nearly sent Jojo toppling to the ground. But Deku decided to stop this process by kicking Johnny in the side and before his body could be sent flying like a paper bag in the wind he was stopped by a powerful spinning heel kick to the hip. Midoriya began to pick up his speed as he continually dashed around the Joestar smashing him with brutal kicks, It became a point where he was moving so fast he was an emerald blur.
This brutal combo was finally finished by a brutal uppercut which sent him spiraling into the side of a building, Creating a wall of smoke. Not wanting to make the same mistake that Johnny had just made, Midoriya ran towards the point of impact to finish off the Joestar. But what he didn't know was that Johnny was running through the streets trying to buy enough time for his nails to grow back.
Jojo looked down at his nails. While they may be growing slowly, They still were growing to a point where they were about 1/3 the normal size for a nail. Johnny cursed himself as he continued running down the road until he soon saw a man with a long brown beard wearing glasses walking down the street with a cup of herb tea in his hand. Perfect. Johnny didn't bother explaining as he grabbed the cup straight from the citizen's hands. Within a second, Johnny had gulped down the tea healing back his nails within a second.
"Hey what the h---?" But before the man could protest he was punched in the face by the disgraced Jockey, sending him tumbling on his back completely knocked out. "Sorry I don't have time to explain." Johnny apologized as he turned around only to see Deku only 5 meters away from him. Johnny cracked his neck as he glared at Deku who was now walking towards him. "Give up. You're cornered!" Izuku demanded.
"That's what you think..." Johnny said cockily putting emphasize on that third word. Deku's eyes narrowed in confusion as he saw Johnny putting his finger to his head. Johnny smirked as he fired one of his nail bullets straight into his temple. Deku watched with horror as the black hole wound in Johnny's temple soon began to expand to a point where it swallowed his upper torso with ease as his lower half fell to the floor. "Oh no, no, no no!" Midoriya muttered to himself as he ran towards Johnny in a panic.
While Deku was focused on Johnny who he believed to have committed suicide he didn't notice a figure rising from a spiraling hole in the ground. Midoriya yelped in pain as he felt his shoulder being clipped by a familiar bullet, He turned around and saw Johnny aiming towards him. Jojo decided to take a chance and fire another shot towards Izuku. The Superhero's eyes widened as he just barely managed to dodge the bullet with a flip, He then proceeded to jump onto a nearby wall of a building.
The Joestar tracked Midoriya despite his almost untrackable movements. Midoriya managed to dodge those shots and countered with Air Force. Jojo sunk himself into the black hole allowing it to close up just in time before the blast of air could even land. "Wait where did he go?" Izuku questioned aloud as he saw Johnny's lower half also sinking into a hole to a point where nothing was left of the Jockey.
The feeling of constriction soon enveloped Izuku's wrist forcing him to look down for the cause. What he saw was Johnny Joestar's hand poking out from this black hole grasping onto his wrist. Johnny's grip was so strong that Izuku felt that like his wrist was going to snap, Suddenly he soon felt the hand trying to him into this hole. Izuku yelped in fear as he stopped this momentum by slamming his foot against the wall while trying to pull himself free. The two strained as they both pulled with all the strength they could muster.
Izuku gritted his teeth as with his free-hand he pointed his curled finger towards the hole. With one yell of anger, Izuku then snapped his finger causing a blast of wind to smash into the hole causing the hole to crack to pieces and allowing him to break free from this tug-of-war. Midoriya flew across the air as projectiles of brick cascaded onto the empty street with smoke coating the eruption.
(Kill la Kill - Don't Lose your Way)
Through the smoke, the silhouette of Johnny Joestar became easily visible to Deku as he fell through the air. Before Johnny could fire his shot Deku decided to shoot a preemptive attack as he flicked his finger again sending the Air Force attack barreling through the air. Deku could see Johnny sinking back into the hole before the blast could practically smash him to pieces. But this was Midoriya's plan as he looked around the area, His attention soon caught by Johnny once again crawling from his own personal black hole.
"Got You!" Midoriya whispered to himself as he jumped towards Johnny with such speed that he left a trail of green blur behind him. Jojo's eyes widened as he soon realized that Deku had effectively teleported behind him, Johnny frantically turned around trying to shoot Deku in the head but he was caught mid-action by a brutal downward kick to the scalp. "St Louis Smash!"
As Deku's yell burrowed into Johnny's ear he soon felt this foot pushing into his scalp until suddenly the rock underneath the Joestar smashed to pieces. Johnny yelled in pain as was sent flying downwards with his head bleeding from the strike. Deku followed after the stunned Jojo and battered down on him with a flurry of stomps to the torso and face before he was soon grabbed by his head. Izuku yelled as he slammed the back of Johnny's head against the concrete causing a crater to form underneath him.
The Superhero held Johnny's head to the ground as he tried to wait for his colleagues to arrive. But Johnny was prepared for this situation as his hand appeared from a black hole a few feet away from Deku. Midoriya turned around at the last second and jumped away...but no shot actually fired. Instead, to save ammo, Johnny had basically tricked Midoriya into letting him go.
Johnny stood back up as he backflipped through the air. While he was in the air, Johnny grabbed hold of a rock and flung it at Izuku with all his strength along with a bit of the Spin imbued on it. Midoriya gritted his teeth as he batted away the rock which he soon realized was probably the worst idea. Suddenly, Deku's arm began to twist unnaturally effectively twisting the joints making Midoriya shout in pain as he fell to his knees. Meanwhile, Johnny landed a few feet away and aimed his finger at the agonised Hero in Training. Without saying a word, Johnny fired another shot towards Midoriya as a form of mercy.
Midoriya's head reeled backwards as the bullet made impact but Johnny soon realized that...Deku hadn't fallen over yet and was in fact not bleeding from his skull unlike most victims of headshots. Johnny's suspicion was soon answered when he saw Midoriya moving his head forward revealing that he had stopped the bullet between his teeth, Deku smiled as he spat the bullet out of his mouth.
"He...caught it in his mouth?" Johnny said in his head as he saw Deku standing up clutching his arm. Johnny's eyes widened as he saw Midoriya twisting his arm back into place with the disgusting sounds of bones being moved accompanying this. While this may have hurt like hell, Deku could still move his arm which he demonstrated by closing his fist. "No matter what it takes I will make sure to take you in because that's what a Hero would do!" Midoriya shouted to the now shaking Johnny.
Surprisingly it wasn't Midoriya twisting his arm like it was nothing wasn't actually the reason for this fear, Instead, What got Johnny shaking in his boots was the look in the boys' eyes...that look of determination reminded him of an old foe that had died many years ago, He was certain that this boy had the eyes of Diego Brando. But that didn't matter, Johnny knew that he had to fight with everything he had otherwise he would lose.
The two young men stared at each other as they awaited their opponent's next move.
Johnny was the first to respond but instead of attacking he...whistled. Deku was confused for just a second as to why his opponent just whistled at him. But soon his answer was revealed when he heard the sound of horse's hooves trotting against the concrete which became louder and louder with each second. At the last second, Midoriya jumped into the air allowing him to just barely dodge Slow Dancer's charge.
It only took a second for Slow Dancer to meet with Johnny but instead of stopping his steed, The Joestar basically swung himself onto Slow Dancer's back and charged away from Midoriya. Deku looked towards where he saw Johnny fleeing and gritted his teeth in anger. All Might's disciple bent down as he activated Full Cowling at the same level as before allowing him the strength and speed to jump towards Johnny with such force that the ground beneath him nearly cracked to pieces.
"You can't run forever!" Deku yelled as he gave chase towards Johnny. But this wasn't the Joestar's plan. Instead with one smirk he and his horse were suddenly bordered by golden rectangles. Each golden rectangle fit perfectly with its body part. Suddenly a purple figure began to form from behind Johnny Joestar's back as he skidded Slow Dancer to a halt, A small puff of smoke built up underneath Slow Dancer's hooves.
This figure was large and imposing with its broad shoulders and gigantic height. Its body was colored pink with half of it's dressed in vertical strings with vertical ellipses that swayed from side to side like a quilt. The inside of this curtain-like body is a pair of legs which appeared to be wearing Cowboy Trousers. The entire spirit was decorated with stars just like Johnny Joestar itself. But the most domineering feature was the face, It looked like it was wearing an Iron Man helmet with a horseshoe imprinted on it.
This was Johnny Joestar's final evolution of his stand, Tusk Act 4!
As Johnny came to a halt, Act 4 clutched its fists in anger as it charged towards Midoriya. Deku stopped himself with a skid as he failed to notice the spirit ready to give him a wallop. Before he can react, Midoriya soon feels a powerful left hook smashing against his jaw with such force that it nearly knocked him off his feet. Blood spurted from his bruised lips as he tried to stop himself from tipping over from the pain.
Act 4 reeled its fists back preparing for a bigger beatdown, During this break Deku decided to cross his forearms over his chest so he could protect himself. But while he couldn't see Act 4, Deku could hear what sounded like a whisper crawling into his ears like spiders with blades for legs. "Chumimi..." This almost acted as a warning for what was to come. Suddenly, Act 4 began to beat down on Deku's guard. Throwing punches towards the defending Hero like a machine gun, causing him to skid slightly with each passing second.
Deku gritted his teeth as he dug his heels into the ground to try and stop him from being sent flying by the onslaught of punches. Act 4's merciless attacks battered down on Izuku's shield-like arms with all it's might until it stops and throws an uppercut straight into Deku's elbows. Midoriya yelled as his guard was immediately shattered causing him to stumble backwards as Act 4 followed after All Might's disciple.
"ORA!" The spirit yelled as it flung a punch straight towards Deku's jaw, Which soon landed sending Midoriya slightly into the air. Midoriya tried to hold his guard but it was soon broken once again by a haymaker right in the abdomen making him cough up blood from the force. Act 4 grabbed hold of Deku's collar and with all the strength it could muster it flung the Hero against the pavement. Midoriya hadn't enough time to even feel pain before he soon felt the now familiar feeling of an almost unending number of punches.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!" The Spirit yelled with each strike, These aforementioned strikes were soon strong enough to crack the road underneath the knocked down Deku. "What...is hitting me? It feels like I'm getting pummeled but I can't see by what..." Izuku pondered in his head before he soon felt himself getting beat down by what felt like 20 people at once...and he couldn't even see "them".
The sound of footsteps alerted Deku to Johnny Joestar walking towards him, He turned his head to see the Genuis Jockey staring down at him. Much like how Johnny saw Diego in Deku's eyes, Midoriya saw the eyes of an old foe. The blue flame in Johnny's cold and murderous eyes reminded him of the stare of Hero Killer Stain. Sweat rolled down Midoriya's face as he tried to keep up his defense. Suddenly he felt the ground beneath him completely caving to a point where a 10-foot deep crater formed beneath him.
But that was the least of his worries as he soon felt himself being pulled into the air. "So you can't see Act 4..." Johnny said casually as he stared at Deku with murderous intent. "...That's pretty handy knowledge right there!" Johnny finished as only he could see Act 4 basically throwing Midoriya at the wall of a building about 20-feet away from him. An explosion of smoke erupted from Deku as he smashed against the wall which caused all the windows to explode into hundreds of shards of glass which rained onto the road.
Midoriya flopped to the floor, Twitching from the pain he was experiencing all over his body. Johnny looked down on the seemingly defeated Midoriya and walked towards him, Act 4 by his side. "It's time to end this!" Johnny growled aggressively as he stepped towards the knocked down Deku. Almost as if it were told to, Act 4 reeled it's fist back and charged towards Deku intending to finish him off with a final blow...
But Johnny's confident attack was interrupted by black talons crawling from the small golden holes in Deku's gloves located on his knuckles. "What!?" Johnny yelled as the black claws soon leaked out from the glove to a point where it grew large enough to eclipse the height of Johnny and his stand. Jojo's eyes grew frantic as he soon felt his leg being entangled by the dark claws and soon within a second his whole torso and his legs were completely wrapped up by the mysterious talons which slightly cut into his flesh.
Johnny winced as he soon felt himself being held in the air. Deku stood up and with one casual sway of his hand, he sent Johnny smashing into the curb nearly breaking the Joestar's skull open. Johnny struggled to push himself as he felt blood dripping from his head, He looked up and saw Midoriya holding two cars with these tendrils that he had dubbed "The Blackwhip" with his head titled downwards towards the floor.
Midoriya slowly tilted his head up and stared at Johnny with a similar smile to All Might on his face, "Full Cowling 20%!" Midoriya said in a confident voice. Suddenly, The green electricity around Deku's body began to become much larger and moved all the way up the Blackwhip's tendril. A green aura burst from his body as Johnny watched in awe. But he didn't let this stop him as he reactivated Tusk Act 4.
By swiping both of his hand in opposite directions, Deku relinquished the cars sending them flying towards Johnny at the speed of a bullet. Act 4's response was quick as it blocked the oncoming vehicle with a punch causing it to completely cave in on itself and stop in its tracks. But the spirit wasn't done as it swatted away the proceeding car sending it crashing onto the ground in pieces. Knowing that the treats were neutralized Johnny looked back towards Deku only to find a tendril flying towards him.
While he may have jumped in shock he still managed to command Act 4 to grab hold of the tendril with both of its hands before he could have been impaled. But while Johnny was distracted he failed to notice Deku swinging to his side about 10 feet away from him. He only realized that this was a trick to drop his defenses when he had the feeling to look to his side and saw another tendril charging towards him.
But unlike last time he had no time to react and plus Act 4 had its hands full at the moment. Less than a second later he was basically whipped by the tendril causing him to be sent skidding across the pavement with Izuku charging towards him. "What the hell is this!?" Johnny shouted with panic as he soon came face to face with the Young Hero. Midoriya growled "St. Louis Smash!" as he proceeded to smash his heel against Johnny's jaw, The sheer force of the attack sending the Genius Jockey flying with blood leaking from his forehead.
But the Joestar persisted as he opened his bruised eyes and activated Act 2. He aimed his finger towards the charging Deku and fired. But the shot missed once again the bang reflected off the surfaces of each building in the street. Izuku blitzed behind Johnny and before he could turn around he caught him with a slamming kick to the top of Jojo's skull making his eyes bulge out cartoonishly.
"Manchester Smash!" Deku announced his move as he pressed his heel further into Johnny's head causing him to bounce off the road. But before the seventh Jojo could even land he was soon grappled by his neck. In a manner similar to what Jojo did to Deku earlier, Midoriya basically slammed Johnny against the ground creating a crater and then dragged him across the road. With all the strength he could muster, Izuku flung Johnny Joestar causing him to roll across the road weakly.
After a few seconds, Johnny finally stopped and pushed himself up. JJ stood tall despite his injuries his murderous glare nearly caused Izuku to jump from fear. Johnny activated Act 4 once again as he clutched his fist in anger. "I guess I have to use this..." Izuku said to himself as he took off his right glove, Placing it in his pocket. Izuku's hand was suddenly covered by a crimson band like metal that wrapped all the way up to his wrist.
Electricity coursed through Izuku's covered hand as he activated 100%, Red lines appeared on his body for just a second before they disappeared. "I'll end this!" Midoriya threatened as he got into a combat stance. Johnny looked at Midoriya in confusion "How is...that gonna help?" a large drop of sweat dripped down the back of his head like in an anime as he asked this question. But soon he got the answer to this question when Midoriya leapt towards him, His fist reeled while he yelled a battle cry.
Johnny commanded Act 4 to protect him and the stand did just that, With all the strength it could muster it threw a haymaker towards Deku's way. Whether it be by coincidence or luck, Deku's fist slammed against Act 4's knuckle. The clash seemed to be even for just a second. Suddenly, a large shockwave occurred sending both combatant's flying backwards from the attack.
The Joestar's hat flew across the air for two seconds before it was grabbed and put back on by its owner. Izuku managed to stop himself and swatted away the smoke in front of him. Soon Deku was met by a strike to the cheek by the invisible Act 4 which made him reel back in pain. Johnny deactivated Act 4 and switched to Act 2. The Joestar ran around Izuku, Blasting him with 3 shots as if he were in a spy film. Izuku gritted his teeth as he brought his left arm up. The density of the Full Gauntlet allowed the bullets to be bounced away like nothing.
Johnny didn't let this panic him as he activated Act 4 once again, Commanding the stand to charge towards Izuku. With all the strength it could muster, Act 4 kicked Izuku in the leg nearly knocking the Superhero onto his back. But he was stopped from falling when Tusk grappled onto Izuku's collar using his other hand to clatter Midoriya in the chin. Stunned, Deku could not defend himself from the oncoming flurry of punches that he soon became accustomed to. "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA" It yelled with each strike.
Tusk finished this combo with a left hook which sent Midoriya spinning across the air, Blood leaked from his broken nose as he slammed against the ground. The time between Midoriya pushing himself up and firing an Air Force blast at Johnny's feet was probably less than a second. Naturally, Johnny had no time to react before he was launched into the air as if he had jumped onto a Trampoline.
"DETROIT SMASH!" Deku yelled once more as he punched Johnny in the face with all he had sent the Joestar crashing into a wall. But that wasn't the end of the effects from that punch, Instead, a shockwave spread across a couple of city blocks, Windows cracked and even shattered in that 2-mile radius. Johnny twitched in agony as he pushed himself off the crater in the wall, Stumbling weakly sure but he was still standing. Both began to breathe heavily as they stared at each other.
"I only have 1 punch left with the Full Gauntlet...gotta make it count..."
"Seems like he gets injured if he uses his powers too much...I could use that!"
Were the thoughts that raced through Johnny and Izuku's minds. Both stared at each other trying to come up with strategies to defeat the other. Johnny was the first to strike as he ran towards Izuku with Act 4 by his side, Its fist reeled backwards. Izuku yelled as he went in for a lunging punch. But Johnny prepared for this as he commanded for his stand to block the attack with its wrist.
A shockwave occurred once more but unlike last time, The Full Gauntlet completely shattered into pieces like glass. Izuku winced in pain as his now unprotected hand was not only cut open by the shards of metal but also Act 4 grappling hold of his hand with all its strength. Midoriya yelled in agony as he fell to his knees. But that was the least of Midoriya's worries as he soon felt his body...spinning. But unlike last time it felt as if all the cells inside Deku's body began to spin around like propellers.
(Stop Music)
Soon his whole body began to look like a towel being wrapped up. Midoriya's screams of agony intensified as his cells began to spin more and more. "This is the Infinite Rotation. It causes all the cells in your body to spin infinitely until you turn to dust. I'm sorry I had to do this but...you got in my way..." Johnny said solemnly as he called Slow Dancer over to him, After a second he climbed onto the horse.
Tears rolled down Izuku's face as he watched Johnny riding away from sight. "No! NO!" Midoriya yelled as he slammed his disfigured hand against the ground. "This is it. This is how I'm going to die...All Might...Mom...I'm sorry I failed you!" Midoriya cried as he lied his face down to the ground, Almost accepting his fate. "Young Midoriya I thought you were going to become the Number 1 Hero?"
The familiar voice rang in Deku's ears as he looked up and saw All Might, His hero standing before him. "I'm sorry...I..." but before Midoriya could say anything he was interrupted by this vision of All Might. "How many times have you been placed in a situation where you felt like you couldn't win?" Midoriya's eyes began to dry as he realized this fact. "Yeah, now you're getting it! I didn't even have to psyche you up that much!" All Might said in a joking manner as Deku slowly pushed himself up.
"Now get out there and defeat this villain!" All Might finished as his spirit transformed back into his skinny form. "Yes sir!" Deku yelled as he used Air Force to send himself flying towards Johnny's general direction. The Joestar raced across the streets trying to get back to the building before those other heroes could return. But the sound of shouting alerted him to Deku flying towards him a couple hundred feet away.
"How the hell?!" Johnny yelled in confusion as he saw Deku coming towards him, His body being completely covered by the Infinite Rotation. Hell, he was probably minutes away from death. Johnny had no time to react before Izuku had slightly touched his back. Within a second the Infinite Rotation moved straight back at Johnny making him yell in agony as he got a taste of his own medicine. Midoriya stood back up now completely back to normal, Still injured but that's better than being basically erased from existence.
Luckily, Johnny was on his horse and so he then shot himself in the shoulder neutralizing the Infinite Rotation entirely. Jojo stopped his horse, Dust bellowed up from Slow Dancer's hooves as Johnny jumped off his horse. "Okay kid you may have nearly got me there but this time I'm gonna beat you!" Johnny threatened. Izuku smirked as his body was completely engulfed by a neon aura, His hair becoming a lighter tinge of green as it spiked upwards. "Full Cowling 100%!" Midoriya growled as he literally dug his heels into the concrete.
In the words of Dio Brando. This was the final round...
The first to "draw his gun" in this Mexican standoff was Deku, His feet which were dug into the concrete burst out of it as he charged towards Johnny. The lightning around Deku's body could've blinded a normal person but Johnny wasn't a normal person as he commanded Act 4 to defend himself. The stand blitzed towards the hero and readied to attack. But Deku was thinking this exact thing as he reeled his fist back to strike Johnny with a haymaker. Act 4 decided to meet this strike with his own left hook.
BOOM!
Suddenly a shockwave occurred from both Midoriya and Tusk's fists. Both dug their feet into the ground so deep that this shockwave only made them slightly move. Deku gritted his teeth in pain as he looked at his arm only to find that it was completely covered in dark bruises and deep cuts. But he could still move his arm so he decided that he would keep up the fight. Hell, a broken arm probably wouldn't stop him.
"I knew it! He gets injured if he uses his power too much!" Johnny concluded in his head as he saw Deku readying to throw a flurry of punches. Johnny then commanded to throw another flurry of punches towards his younger foe. "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA" "RAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!" The two yelled as they battered each other with flurries of punches with such strength that it could have taken out the entire city block around them. Bursts of air exploded outwards with each collision.
Midoriya had enough of this battle as he leapt backwards and with all the strength he could muster dragged his leg all the way to the left causing a powerful burst of air to blast towards Johnny and his stand. "Shit, Gotta Defend!" Johnny shouted in panic as he projected Act 4 to stand before him with its arms crossed in an x-shape. Like a shield, Act 4 effectively blocked the blast of air allowing it to pass over Johnny harmlessly. Although Johnny gritted his teeth from the strain which he felt from his stand.
Finally, this attack ended allowing Johnny to take a break and breath heavily in exhaustion and from the numerous injuries he suffered during this hard battle. But this honestly wasn't the best time as he was soon smashed in the chin by a full-powered uppercut from the aggravated Deku. The force of the attack suddenly sent Johnny flying into the air, He groaned in pain as he felt the bottom of his jaw cracking.
Tears dripped down Johnny's face from the pain, But he didn't let this stop him as he commanded Act 4 to strike towards the Superhero. Deku once again couldn't even see Tusk and was decked in the face by the close-ranged stand making his whole head reel backwards. Midoriya kept up the fight as he fired an Air Force blast towards Johnny sending the Jockey crashing to the floor in a heap. Smoke stirred from Johnny's chest as he pushed himself back up, Breathing heavily at this point as he saw Deku coming towards him once again.
Johnny weakly stood up and pointed his finger not only firing another shot but also sending Act 4 to throw another flurry of punches to defend himself. Izuku dodged the bullet with ease and as soon as he felt the pain of these punches he put his hands up like a boxer. Act 4's strikes were relentless as they continued firing towards Deku's closed arms like a machine gun but Deku kept up strong. Not faltering from despite Tusk's might as he slowly came closer and closer to the Joestar.
In a panic, Jojo discharged Act 4 allowing Deku to lean forward slightly. Johnny ran behind Izuku and basically slapped the young hero in the back of the head causing him to spin across the floor once again. In a flash, Deku stood back, The electricity pulsating around his body becoming much more dominant. "I'm going to need everything I have to defeat this guy...Even if it means me breaking all the bones in my body I must defeat him!" Deku surmised in his head as he walked slowly towards Johnny Joestar.
As if he knew what Deku was thinking, Johnny slowly stepped towards Midoriya staring into the Young Man's eyes with the fiery stare that so many people had seen before they died. Deku clenched his fist and growled in anger as he came closer to the Jojo. Before he could react he suddenly...
BANG!
Izuku's eyes widened as he felt a sting in his calf, When he looked down he saw a hole in his left boot. Blood oozed from the wound underneath his boot. What he didn't see was that Tusk had kicked him in the leg which resulted in the hole in his costume. Midoriya looked at Johnny, Unaffected by this brutal strike which would've crippled you or me. Johnny tilted his head as the fire in his eyes burned brighter while Act 4 came to add some offence.
Tusk grasped Deku's throat and raised him into the air, His legs kicking as he was raised into the air. The stand made sure there was no opposition as he slammed his fist into Deku's liver effectively stopping him from moving. Act 4 wasn't done as it then headbutt Midoriya in the face breaking the nose of the Young Hero. Act 4 ended this aggressive and uncharacteristic beatdown with a one-handed Ora Barrage aimed towards Midoriya's face and torso causing the hero's arms and legs to flop around as if he were having a seizure.
"ORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Johnny yelled his voice almost cracking due to the strain of the many battle cries as Act 4 throw one last right hook which sent Midoriya flying weakly across the air. Deku's flight finally ended when he crashed into the road a couple of hundred feet away. Johnny huffed in exhaustion as he deactivated Act 4 once again but as he did this he coughed up...no vomited a puddle of blood onto the ground.
"Shit...my lung...got pierced..." Johnny said through deep breaths as he fell on all fours, His hands becoming dirty by the crimson puddle beneath him. Johnny's eyes began to waver as his vision became less clear almost as if he had taken drugs. But even despite his distorted vision and the rapidly approaching darkness he could still see Izuku charging back towards him, His neon aura becoming more clear to the Joestar than the sun itself. Johnny leaned upwards as he weakly activated Act 4 and commanded to throw one last Ora Barrage.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!"
The desperate strikes rained down onto Midoriya's body with all the strength that Johnny had left. But unlike last time, Deku wasn't stopping, in fact, he seemed to be going faster as he was continuously struck. Despite this Act 4 floated backwards trying to protect its user at all costs. Deku gritted his teeth in pain as he bruises and cuts began to take form all across his face, forehead and chin.
But Midoriya pushed past this pain as he closed the gap between him and Johnny. "I will beat you!" Midoriya said with determination in his now hoarse voice. Johnny's eyes widened as he soon saw Act 4's back directly in front of him, The shockwaves from each punch were enough to nearly knock Johnny's hat off again and made his hair blow backwards. All it took was one second...where Johnny had coughed up blood causing Act 4 to completely disappear. With no opposition, Deku was finally face to face with the weakened Johnny Joestar.
"100% Detroit...." Deku roared once more as he winded his fist back for an uppercut. Johnny's eyes widened as he saw the young man's knuckle coming towards him. "SMAAASSSH!" Izuku finished as he slammed his fist into Jojo's jaw not only sending him hundreds of feet into the air but also creating a small tornado which made Johnny spin across the air. Deku's newfound strength allowed him to jump those hundred feet with no issue with such speed that he looked like he was flying, While leaving a house-sized crater where he last stood.
It didn't take long before Deku had reached where Johnny was essentially floating limply in the air, He had run out of fight as soon as he was hit by that punch. Deku didn't think for a second as he used Air Pressure to fly towards the weak Joestar and prepared for one last punch. Johnny opened his eyes weakly as he saw Deku moving slowly towards him as if time had slowed down. Suddenly he heard the sound of a familiar voice...the voice of a friend long dead whispering in his ear...
"Johnny..."
Before Johnny could realise what happened he was soon punched square in the temple once again. Izuku yelled a battle cry as he pressed his knuckles into Johnny's face. His biceps flexed as he continued pressing, This was easily the strongest punch that Izuku had ever thrown in his entire life. The force of the attack was enough to cause Johnny's ears to ring as his vision began to blur.
As a result of this all-powerful strike, Johnny was sent flying at speeds faster than any plane on the Earth. The direction he was going...was a nearby building...this was going to hurt...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
And oh boy did it. Like a missile, Johnny's body smashed clean through the building without too much effort. But that was the least of it as the building cracked like glass. Soon this crack spread around the building and within a second the top half of this building completely tipped over like Jenga. Dust and broken glass rained down onto the empty streets as the discarded piece began to tip backwards. Thankfully that was just a building nearly finished construction so no civilians would have died thanks to this.
Johnny's bloodied body fell limply through the air as his hair swished over his eyes, He soon opened them and saw the spirit of Gyro Zeppeli standing before him. "G-Gyro..." Johnny said weakly as he looked at his long-passed best friend. "It's been a long time Johnny...come with me!" Gyro said reaching his hand out. Gyro's voice soothed the Joestar as tears began to form in his eyes.
Suddenly, The Jojo reached his hand out and touched the ghost of Gyro's hand. Seconds after, Johnny bounced against the road basically destroying all of his remaining bones making blood gush from his open wounds. But that was the least of his problems as the top of the building crashed directly onto the Joestar. The real-life Jenga brick completely crumbled into tiny pieces as it crushed the Jojo, Ending the life of the seventh Joestar.
Izuku landed a couple of feet away from the wreck, But the landing wasn't graceful instead his legs buckled causing him to fall onto his knee. Deku gritted his teeth as he looked at the remains of this battle until he saw something that would traumatize him for the rest of his life. Johnny Joestar's hand poking out from the rubble, While the arm stood tall the hand flopped downward while Johnny's blood surrounded this limb. "Oh god, no..." Deku mourned as tears dripped down his face.
He didn't mean to kill the Joestar but...he did just that. Despite the pain in his legs, Deku stood back up his arms raised to his sides and screamed into the sky as he cried for his deceased foe.
JOHNNY JOESTAR: RETIRED!
Results[]
Sean: (Sighs Loudly)
Irish: What's wrong I thought you would be happy with that fight?
Sean: I thought it was badass and I'm happy that Deku won and all but I'm sort of conflicted because I like Johnny as well but also because I could have sworn that he had this battle in the bag.
Irish: Well I don't blame you for thinking that, Hell, I used to believe that this was a stomp in Johnny's favor (which was why we originally did that whole composite Deku thing) But after doing more research I was pretty surprised to figure that it was the other way around. Deku had this fight in the bag.
Sean: How though? I thought Johnny had that Universal feat.
Irish: Well on paper that feat makes sense but after looking through the manga. It sorts of falls apart. For one the main reason, this feat is considered Universal level is because of one statement that said Love Train was "Layers of Dimensions" while that may seem rock solid for Johnny to be Universal for breaking it open there is a problem with this. Because...well he doesn't exactly break it, In fact, he more just pry it open.
Sean: So basically instead of saying that Act 4 could physically destroy a Universe it makes more sense to say that he can pierce a Universe. "What's the difference?" I hear you saying in the back. Well, for example, Let's say you have a knife and you stab through a wall. Does that make you Wall Level? No of course not.
Irish: That's basically the same as Act 4's feat but on a bigger scale. So with that out of the way why don't we compare their greatest feats to figure out which was stronger starting off with Johnny. During the final battle against Funny Valentine. Not only does Tusk smash through D4C's defenses but he also punches the stand so hard that it created a large crater in the ground. Judging by the size of the hole and factoring the pulverization of the rock we figured out that to create a crater this big, Tusk would need to punch with a force of 0.012274374761000000217 Tons of TNT!
Sean: We'll just round it up to 1 Ton of TNT. You'll see why later.
Irish: On the other side of the pond we have Deku. Now Deku has many strength feats under his belt but we will talk about his strongest feat. In the movie: Heroes Rising, Izuku and Bakugo together were able to disperse a large storm which was covering most of the island they were on. By comparing the size of the island to the storm and with how it took 16 seconds for the storm to disappear we deduced that Deku was punching with a force of 438 Megatons of TNT. That makes Izuku 438,000,000 times stronger than Tusk Act 4.
Sean: You know you should probably half that result because Bakugo was there...
Irish: That's the funny thing, I already did. And it's possible that Izuku could be even stronger than that because he used air currents instead of a direct punch. Which means that gap could become even wider.
Sean: Oh my god...well anyway, While this may have been Deku at his 100% power that doesn't really help Johnny in this situation because even when Deku was using 8% of his power he was over 3 times stronger than Act 4's greatest feat. Don't forget that we were deliberately overestimating Act 4's feat due to the fact that it took him 9 punches to do that.
Irish: Which again, Deku did with just air pressure. Sure it's not unheard of to beat somebody stronger than you but when your foe is over 400,000,000 times stronger than you...yeah I dunno about that one chief.
Sean: But striking strength isn't the only category in the strength department. You also have to take lifting strength into account. Which...Johnny doesn't even compare to. Sure Gyro said that Johnny had strong muscles and he lifted Lucy Steel onto his horse without effort but Deku's on a whole other level man.
Irish: During his battle with the Gentle Criminal he was able to lift a steel frame from a building site. These very steel frames usually would weigh around 32 tons. Remember this wasn't when he was at 100% so the idea of him being able to lift a lot more when he goes all out isn't all too ridiculous. So yeah in both departments of strength Johnny folds but I hear you thinking "Johnny must blitz. He's a Jojo character after all"
Pop-Up: Deku did struggle to lift this steel frame but the fact he even managed to pick it up puts him way above Johnny.
Sean: While Johnny may not be MFTL as we explained earlier he has multiple instances of dodging bullets. But his most impressive speed feat was when he reacted to gunshots from Stroheim's arm gun...thingie. Well anyway, Johnny did this while on horseback and scaling Stroheim's arm gun to an IRL gun of similar design, the M1879 Reichsrevolver we found that he can react to attacks moving at speeds of 205 meters per second or 458 MPH.
Irish: That is impressive. However, there is a problem. Deku can do way better. Why? Well, he scales to All Might who was casually able to blitz multiple villains at once from a great distance. Specifically 47.59 meters away. Since the trained human's max FPS is 220 it turns out that All Might was moving at speeds of Mach 30. Which if you want to know puts Izuku about 50 times faster than Johnny's greatest speed feat.
Sean: But Deku didn't even need to go 100% for him to be faster than Johnny. Since he scales to his classmate Tokiyami whose Dark Shadow could react to Kaminari's Mach 11 Electricity.
Irish: Durability may have looked like a pretty close category since both combatants have pretty high pain tolerances and similar feats like how they both survived being burnt by intense fires and have survived pretty similar head injuries (Johnny was shot in the head while Deku was stabbed in the head) However with closer inspection Johnny just couldn't keep up.
Sean: Well I mean the fire that Johnny survived wasn't even close to as hot as the ones that Deku did. See fires started by gasoline like the one that DIEGO threw at him at most go at 1,026 °C while the flames that Deku had survived came from Todoroki who nearly melted Tetsutetsu whose bodies are made of steel.
Irish: Steel has a melting point of 1,370°C. More than 300°C hotter than Johnny's feat. While that may not sound like much of a difference but when it comes to heat any gap above 20°C is pretty fucking big. But that doesn't matter because we will go over their best durability feats. For argument's sake let's just say that Johnny took Oyecomova's bomb straight to the face (which didn't happen) which would mean he could survive 132,800,000 Joules of energy.
Sean: That's cute and all but Deku is just way tougher. Remember that 438 Megatons of TNT feat? Well, Izuku survived the force of that attack onto himself which resulted in his arms breaking. Which basically means that he can survive Mountain Level attacks. Which is backed up since he tanked hits from Nine.
Irish: So can you see why Johnny didn't stand much of a chance here? Not only does his greatest defense not have the strength to protect him. But also he doesn't have the speed to avoid these attacks or the durability to survive these strikes. Poor Johnny wouldn't even be able to survive a casual kick from a held back Deku since in that state he can create tornadoes with just kicks.
Sean: Like I mean Johnny doesn't have the physical strength to keep up with Deku. That's fine and all. But does that really matter since Deku wouldn't be able to see Tusk at all, With Tusk's range couldn't he just snipe Midoriya from a few meters away?
Irish: Well short answer no. The long answer is also no. While stands like Crazy Diamond and Star Platinum are invisible to the human eye it has been stated before that stands that are attached to its user or victim can. For example stands like Yellow Temperance, Strength, White Album and Wheel of Fortune. And since Johnny's nails are obviously attached to his fingers then non-stand users can see these nails.
Pop-Up: Deku may not be able to see the full body of Act 4 he could certainly see when it's a bullet. Which Deku can dodge and while Act 4 is taking form he could kill Johnny.
Sean: So yeah Tusk's bullets can be seen by Deku. Now when it came down to if Deku had the pure speed to dodge these shots it's pretty simple. Yes, he does. Tusk's bullets have consistently shown to move at the same speeds of regular bullets. Specifically the bullets from Ringo Roadagain's gun. Ringo wields an 1874 Colt which has a muzzle velocity of 503 MPH which means that Johnny's bullets can move just a bit slower than sound. Which we established that Deku can move faster a few times over casually.
Irish: It doesn't exactly help that Deku's Olympic level agility and acrobatics would throw Johnny's aim off considerably. Sure Act 2's moving bullet holes could surprise Deku but not enough to where he would be immediately taken out. Remember the bullet holes will only follow its target for 8 seconds so basically Midoriya would need to avoid this hole (don't be immature) for that short amount of time.
Sean: Considering Deku's agility and speed that would be a piece of cake.
Irish: Also with Air Force, those nail bullets basically become paper nails in the middle of a tornado. Effectively making Johnny waste his already limited ammunition. Sure he can drink herbal tea to speed up the process of his nails regeneration but that takes 1 minute for it to grow back.
Sean: Sure that may not sound like a lot of time but when your against a guy who's way faster and stronger than you that 1 minute will feel like an hour and even then it would basically be wasted again because of the winds that Deku can create either with his Airforce or by just kicking when he is at 100%. This could even lead to Johnny being hit by his own shots!
Pop-Up: While Act 3 could be tricky for Izuku to handle and he may get some cheeky shots in but there's not really much he can do since Deku can avoid all of his bullets. He could try and drag Deku into the hole but that would ultimately be pretty risky since he is much weaker than Deku
Irish: Want to know something funny? Well, Johnny's greatest advantage in a fight. Range is something that he gets beaten by in this fight and that's thanks to the Black Whip.
Sean: Sure Johnny's nails have a range of 10 meters or 30 feet...but the Black Whip can grow hundreds of feet tall to a point where each tentacle could rival the height of building-sized structures. Which basically means that Deku could just use the Black Whip to grab Johnny and tear him to shreds of feet away. In that situation, Johnny has no way to defend himself since the nails wouldn't be able to reach Deku.
Irish: While this happened when Deku had no control over the Black Whip it has been shown during the latest arc that he can control the Black Whip to pick up cars and bus' without too much trouble or strong enough to pop the Genius Jockey as if he were a grape...or he could tear him limb from limb...or...
Sean: Alright we get the point. Jeesh. Anyway, The closest category in this battle was intelligence. Both Johnny and Deku are incredibly intelligent and are smart enough to come up with strategies to defeat their foes.
Irish: Johnny may have a knack for figuring out the abilities of his foes like with D4C and THE WORLD but in the end, Deku was just that little bit smarter. "Why tho?" I hear you yelling. First of all, Calm down. Second of all, Johnny may be intelligent but when things go wrong he has shown to crack under pressure.
Sean: Johnny has a bad habit of panicking when he was on the losing end of fights. Hell, Gyro even criticised him for this. While Deku has shown to keep a cooler head in battle even when things go wrong for him. So basically both were as smart as each other but only Izuku would be able to use his intelligence to the fullest in this fight.
Irish: Johnny may have been a skilled Jockey but in CQC it was no contest that Deku would completely overwhelm Joe Kid. Not only with his better physicals but also with his Shoot Style.
Sean: Now you may be shocked to hear that Johnny wouldn't have the experience edge in this battle. Sure he is older than Deku by a couple of years but during his 29 years of life, he only had 4 months of combat experience while Deku has been continuously fighting for the past year but he hasn't just been fighting some goons.
Irish: Midoriya has constantly battled against some of the most threatening villains in his verse like Hero Killer Stain, Overhaul and Shigaraki. Even then, During the 4 months of the Steel Ball Run Race mostly had to be saved by Gyro. Sure he has more life experience than Deku but that ain't gonna help him in a fight.
Sean: But wait when Deku goes 100% doesn't that just injure him and didn't he need Eri to access that form?
Irish: Yes Deku does get injured by his full powers attacks but he doesn't actually need Eri since in the Movie Heroes Rising he was able to use this form without too much trouble. Plus he could just wear the Full Gauntlet so he could throw 3 full powered punches at Johnny. But that would honestly be overkill...
Sean: But let's go over the elephant in the room named the Infinite Rotation.
Irish: The Infinite Rotation is truly one of the strongest abilities in Jojo history and was able to fuck over Funny Valentine. However, it has one fatal flaw which drags it and Johnny down. The fact that if the victim touches Johnny whether it be the regular way or by dismemberment. He's done for.
Sean: We saw this in his battle against DIEGO and we also saw that when he was hit by his own attack he basically crumbled immediately. If it weren't for Stephen Steel he would have been screwed and in a Death Battle, there's no outside help.
Irish: Deku would very likely figure out this weakness and exploit it but we're also assuming that he would even get hit in the first place. Because of how much faster and stronger he is, Deku could just blitz Johnny and kill him before he can even activate Act 4 let alone hit him with the Infinite Rotation.
Sean: So while Johnny may be a powerful foe and has one of the haxxiest abilities in all of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure but thanks to his superior brains, brawns, range and equipment Deku just had to pull the rug on us in this battle. Looks like Johnny really shot himself in the foot here fighting against Deku and so his dreams of victory were immediately crushed!
Irish: The winner is Izuku "Deku" Midoriya!

Connections:
- Both Izuku and Johnny inherited powerful abilities that were passed down from generation to generation. The Spin for Johnny and One for All for Deku. Both also had become so effective with their abilities to the point where they could match evenly with their masters
- Thanks to receiving these amazing abilities Johnny and Deku also began to have a lot more confident in themselves and began to become happier overall.
- Johnny and Deku don't really have a great relationship with their fathers (Deku's dad wasn't around much in his childhood while Johnny's relationship with his father is...just a trainwreck)
- This is a weird connection I know but both Johnny and Deku have attacks that involve their fingers. Izuku with the Deleware Smash and Johnny through Act 1-3.
- Izuku and Johnny also grew up idolising a person which inspired them to follow in their footsteps. Johnny looked up to his brother and when he died he decided to become a jockey while Deku watched videos of All Might which made him want to become a hero.
- Both also saved a young girl (Lucy Steel and Eri) from a villain who believed that his evil actions were justified for the greater good of the world (Funny Valentine and Overhaul)
- This is more of a difference between the two but Izuku doesn't usually want to kill his foes which is the exact opposite of Johnny who will kill anyone who comes in his way.
- Johnny and Deku are very intelligent. Midoriya is usually known for breaking down his opponent's fighting styles and finding ways to defeat them. While Johnny has a knack for discovering the stand abilities of his foes (Like with D4C and The World)
- Plus both of them are nearly at the top of my list of favorite protagonists.
- Coincidentally, both Johnny and Deku have rivals who are blonde and very prideful (Katsuki Bakugo and Diego Brando)
- Funnily enough, Johnny shares the same Japanese voice actor as Todoroki (Yūki Kaji) who is one of Midoriya's greatest allies. Fun fact for ya there!
- They are both known for crying quite a lot (for good reason though)
- Spoilers for the recent arc of My Hero Academia and Jojolion: Eventually later on they both went off on their own to protect people close to them (Johnny went off on his own to get the corpse part back so that he can save his wife while Izuku left so that he can defeat All for One on his own so that his friends don’t get attacked.)
