History[]
John Wraith, code name Kestrel, was a member of Team X, a U.S. black ops team composed of mutants, and it was during that time that he became a friend of Logan. Eventually, Kestrel left Team X, and became a Christian preacher. Eventually, Kestrel faced Hellverine, a demon-possessed Wolverine, who killed him. In the movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Kestrel left Team X to run a boxing gym, and he was killed by Sabretooth.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Anti-aging - Due to the process used in turning John into a mutant, he ages at a much slower rate. He is not immortal, but will live a very long time indeed,
- Teleportation - He can instantly teleport from one place to another, at will. He seems to have a nearly infinite range.
Weaponry[]
- Heckler & Koch G36K - An assault rifle that fires 5.56mm bullets that it holds in a 30-round magazine. It shoots 750 rounds per minute and has an effective firing range of 600 meters (660 yds).
