Introduction[]
Mortician: John Rambo, Green Beret and Vietnam War Veteran.
Redshock: John Matrix, American special forces soldier of Commando.
Mortician: Survival of the Fittest is one of the most important phrases that was etched into the books of the past. This statement particularly means to adapt to immediate local environments or situations that will be difficult.
Redshock: Even if it means spilling blood and a good whole lot of it if you want to survive. And these two survivors know everything about spilling blood. Which one man survivor will win in this Battle Of The John’s Death Battle Part 2!!!!
John Rambo[]
Mortician: John Rambo was born in December on the 5th to his parents, Helga and Reevis Rambo in Bowie, Arizona. He had a rough childhood considering his father had a close obsession with alcohol and becoming an alcoholic thus making him abusive while his mother had died. John actually spent life as a child just learning about the Navajo pride elders on the reservation about how to sing in and efficiently their traditional weaponry.
Redshock: John’s child life was rough for sure but things got worse the more he got older to an appropriate age. John’s father tried to kill him with a knife but he retaliated by shooting a bow and arrow that nearly had the chance of killing him. John did make his escape and leave all that physical abuse behind thus starting a new life. When he did graduate high school, John was then picked to be drafted into the United States Army at the age of 18 in the first month of January in 1966 for the Vietnam War
Mortician: Rambo earned his Airborne Ranger Silver Wings in the month of May of 1966 and was deployed to South Vietnam in the month of September with the 101st Airborne in which he would complete two duties with. However, right after returning to the U.S in December, 1967. John began training in the special forces at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he was trained in a plethora of skills.
Redshock: These skills consists of learning multiple southeast Asian languages like Vietnamese, Burmese, Thai, Chinese, Lao and Khmer in order to operate advanced static and firearm weaponry including tanks, helicopters, guerilla warfares, demolitions, paratrooping, marksmanship and overall survival skills. John would go on to receive extensive survival and combat training later becoming a green beret in September of 1969. However John was then re-deployed in South Vietnam where he did serve in the baker team which was a special forces unit team consisting of 8 expert men.
Mortician: And ever since then, John Rambo has been a force to be reckoned with. John’s arsenal and weapon collection is truly state of the art. He has knives, bows, pistols, sub-machine guns, rifles, shotguns, explosive grenades, rocket launchers and even has vehicles like the Yamaha XT 250. However what’s most impressive is John’s sheer performance in Intellectual strategy due to his self-made booby traps. Every trap he’s ever made has been unique on its own and some of them are what soldiers these days wouldn’t even think of creating on field. John Rambo does plan ahead of time but his strategies also come in handy in the very first encounters throughout his campaign.
Redshock: John is also ruthless against his opponents and possibly one of the most dangerous military veterans out there due to the combative nature he does represent. He’s an expert in various fighting techniques and fighting styles such as Cambodian Bloodsport, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jujitsu, Karate, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, Combat Sambo, Muay Thai, Marine Corps Martial arts, Krav Maga and Japanese Jujitsu all while being the best formidable hand to hand combatant in his unit. Rambo knows so many styles that even I wouldn’t want to provoke him on a bad day.
Mortician: John has the stamina and endurance intact that grants him the strength to defeat and incapacitate other people effortlessly. John can knock out another man with just one to two hits, slam someone head into a wall that is enough to kill them and can wrestle with another person within a moving helicopter all while being able to toss them out in the end.
Redshock: That isn’t even remotely crazy compared to the amount of damage that he’s dealt using gruesome actions. He can snap necks with ease, ripped out a man’s throat and once tore out someone’s collar bone with his bare hands. John even broke the bone with enough pressure so he did apply 7 pounds of force to achieve this feat. This isn’t even the worst because John knows how to do some fatalities when he chooses and what I’m talking about is ripping out someone’s heart. This applies to around 1,500 LBS of maximum force and capacity to get this done all while maintaining it with pure strength. So he’s not only ruthless but when he’s provoked you better apologize or else you’ll be on the deep end with pain.
Mortician: John isn’t just an elite veteran but the way he thinks has led him to be even more tactical. He’s killed several people with nothing but utilizing a hammer and has near perfect precise timing in accuracy with deadly armaments. John has thrown knives so hard that they’ve been embedded into concrete, tossed machetes into skulls killing the victims in the process and has cut steel wiring several times on end. He’s also so incredibly ruthless that he’s beaten a man with a wooden pole to death without giving any mercy whatsoever. I guess you can say the hatred for kidnapping or annihilating the ones he loves truly comes with a vengeance.
Redshock: Aside from his cunning thinking and incredible layers of strength. John has survived some of the most over the top ridiculous scenarios that should have killed him on the spot but survived due to his will to keep going. He was just fine right after being in a helicopter crash on direct impact and not to mention hung upward from his neck while parachuting out of a plane but that’s not even the worst part. When John was captured and kidnapped by two soviets, they both subjected him with intense electrical torture of bolts coursing through his entire body from the chest down. You’d have to be extremely tough to take all of It.
Mortician: John’s even tanked being shot through the shoulder with a machine gun that forced him back with propelling potency and still got up to continue to fight and let’s just add this durability feat while we’re at it shall we? Rambo was fine right from a tank clear collision and keep in mind he was inside of it. This caused an explosion within seconds that wrecked other vehicles and we did add calculation for this and it came out 54.97 Kilotons of TNT. So not only John has state of the art pain tolerance but this veteran can surely take a lot of punishment especially just for being a regular human being in the end.
Redshock: Rambo is that soldier you don’t want to mess with but even with his skills and experience, John isn’t perfect whatsoever. We all have to remember that he’s a regular human being like any other soldier and has two flaws. He’s still haunted from his past life and suffers from PTSD. He enjoys killing his opponents gruesomely with an over killing nature which can lead him to stop whatever he’s doing and go for the kill.
Mortician: Even so, John Rambo is still one veteran in the military that is different from the others. You better make sure you’re not in his sights or an enemy of his because if you are then you’re already dead in silence.
John Rambo: “Don’t Push It, Or I’ll Give You A War You Won’t Believe”
John Matrix[]
Mortician: John Matrix was born and raised in East Germany but at some point throughout his entire life. He decided to move to the United States in order to join the military but had the opportunity to be part of the Elite secret delta force squad.
Redshock: John’s incredible career was so notorious that it was like one fast rollercoaster but soon he had to retire in order to take care and raise his daughter, Jenny. Think John was led to live a happy life afterward his difficult profession? It did seem like that at first but after some years has gone by in the blink of an eye
Mortician: John would be informed by his former superior about something unprecedented. Franklin Kirby told John that multiple units were killed by mercenaries who were hired by a ruthless warlord. John at first thought this was all fun and games, thinking it’s nothing but a joke before shrugging it off but then he got badly attacked by the same group of mercenaries.
Redshock: Unfortunately his daughter was kidnapped during this period of events and this triggers one mission in order to retrieve Jenny back. But they had no idea how badass John Matrix really is.
Mortician: John is an expert in all forms of firearms with his standard equipment and happens to be highly versatile in the field of artillery. He carries combat knives for near stealth purposes and truly has a multitude of machine guns like the Desert Eagle, Beretta, Remington 870, M18 Claymore, Heckler and Koch HK9, Franchi SPAS-12, Valmet M78 that happens to be a sniper rifle and M2O2 FLASH. John is a soldier of many quirks and just for good and stillness, he also requires hand grenades to be unpredictable when the situation counts
Redshock: John has come out of different numerous circumstances thanks to being an expert in precision, accuracy and vigilance. He can down multiple gourds with a single throwing knife right after being detected on the spot and had the experience of gunning down a total of 81 soldiers in total without any issue due to this being part of his own military training. This training was so intense that it allowed him to have the courage, will and capability to mow down 50 soldiers all at once with minimal cover. This means he was within a conglomerate group of people blasting bullets at him and yet he was still able to take down these many troops shortly.
Mortician: Aside from being able to adapt throughout the field in which he’s competing against violence or life and death situations, John’s senses are incredibly useful in the stealth department generally. This veteran infiltrated a a high security military base that was guarded by at least a hundred soldiers. He was so silent when doing this that he sabotaged the entire base operation building with traps without being noticed once and can stealth kill several enemies in quiet footsteps with no detection
Redshock: John’s acute hearing is near to perfect. He heard a helicopter 5 to 6 miles away. And mixed with his stealth skills and accurate precision in weapons is what also makes him fantastic in hand to hand combat. John has taken down a multitude of police officers that assaulted him from different angles, fought off five different gunmen right after being in a horrendous car crash and while his right arm was disabled, John not only took down but defeated Bennet in a knife fight with one arm and Bennet just happens to be one of the most experienced soldiers to clear an outpost without any assistance or support. John isn’t all about these attributes but it’s his absurd strength that makes him so viable and persistent in the base lineup.
Mortician: John can carry large logs that happen to be bigger than himself with no issues, pull steel pipes out of walls, rip car seats out with only a single hand and push trucks down hills. Trucks can weigh up to 3 to 40 tons as limit from class 3 and this means that these cars can be as heavy as 8,000 to 16,000 LBS. That’s no surprise when he can also lift up a phone booth over his head that is 720 kilograms but John’s strikes can also be painful. He can kick people through walls and punch someone so hard off his feet that he landed into sharp spikes.
Redshock: He can run past gunfire without an issue from several people at once, catch up to moving vehicles like cars and other moveable cycles and can tank some of the worst hits that could have killed him but didn’t. John survived direct car crashes, grenade explosions, was beaten head on continuously with an iron pipe and was unharmed after being hit with a car.
Mortician: Let’s keep in mind that there’s nothing like good leadership and intelligence who can strategize to take out an entire group of soldiers. John Matrix is that veteran and remember, stepping up to him can be a big mistake because he’ll always beat anyone to a pulp who hurts his loved ones.
Redshock: Don’t even bother running or hiding, you could already be dead by time you show up because there’s never knowing when or how John Matrix will be right behind you.
John Matrix: “You're a funny guy, Sully. I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last”.
Death Battle![]
Prologue[]
In the middle of the island of Vale Verde, John Matrix was hiking through the thick jungle. Until an arrow was shot in his direction. Matrix caught the arrow in time but before he could do anything he heard a gunshot and jumped out of the way as he barely got shot. Matrix got up and realized that John Rambo was now after him. Both of them sized each other up as they then both pulled out their smallest guns and shot them at each other. Both bullets collided with each other and ricocheted off of each other.
FIGHT![]
Both men then began to shoot at each other again as they backed up each time they pulled the trigger until finally they both ran out of ammo. Matrix went to hide and quickly pulled out another gun but he noticed how quickly Rambo vanished into the jungle-like environment. Matrix got out of his hiding spot as he chucked a rock at the bushes where he last saw Rambo head into but nothing happened or so he thought at first because out of nowhere bullets began to rain from up above as Matrix began to run to a safer place. More bullets began to rain down but this time from where he was now. Matrix quickly realized what this meant and began to shoot up at the trees that were to the center of both sides. Matrix heard a stick snap as two guns that were perfectly set up on a tree to be hidden fell to the ground.
Matrix began to walk slowly to where the bushes, from out of nowhere Rambo would have swung from a tree and jumped onto Matrix dropping both to the ground. Rambo would have tried to apply a choke hold on Matrix but had gotten up with Rambo still on his back and run into a tree back first. The impact of the collision forced Rambo to get off of Matrix’s back, which would caused him to fall on to the ground as Matrix would have tried to capitalize on the moment, but Rambo quickly stabbed his arm with one of his arrows as he then punched Matrix straight in the gut causing him to drop to a knee as Rambo then pulled out his knife and went to finish Matrix off. Until Matrix pulled out his own knife and blocked Rambo’s attack with it
Both Rambo and Matrix sized each other up again as they then got into a back and forth knife fight, they both were blocking each deadly slash while ignoring every minor cut they received. Rambo tried to pull a fast one and pulled out one of his guns and went to shoot Matrix, but Matrix saw this coming and elbowed Rambo in the face and then kicked him back into the bush he was in and pulled out his Uzi and just started shooting but to his surprise he didn’t hit nothing as when he got close to the bushes he got arrows shot at him. Rambo was on a tree as he continued to shoot arrows as Matrix, but Matrix knew better this time and chucked a grenade up at where the trees were forcing Rambo to go on the defensive as when he landed onto the other tree.
Matrix kept shooting in that direction as Rambo kept hopping. Matrix then threw another grenade as at the same time Rambo threw one too, both grenades colliding and exploded at the same time resulting in a shockwave to blast the both of them deeper in the area they were in. Matrix crashed hard into a tree as Rambo landed onto the ground but his fall was softened by branches so he was the first one to get up and walk to where the other one landed. Until Rambo pulled out his RPG-7 as he was walking to where Matrix was as he was barely getting up from the shockwave that caught them both.
Matrix got up and as he did. He saw how Rambo got ready to shoot him with his RPG-7 so in a ditch effort Matrix attempted to punch Rambo, but his punch was dodged. Although Rambo's surprise, Matrix caught him off guard while he dodged his punch and got one of his hands on the RPG-7. Rambo pulled the trigger but to surprise again, Matrix pointed the RPG-7 at a tall tree nearby. The blast let out a loud sound as the tree fell down right in the center of where both Matrix and Rambo were falling hard as both jumped out of the way to avoid getting hurt by it.
Matrix took advantage of how the tree was on the floor and used it to where Rambo stood and delivered a powerful punch on him as Rambo stumbled back but before he could retreat to the bushes, Matrix pulled on his shirt and punched him again. Matrix wasn’t done as he continued to swing at him. Rambo noticing how the arrow from earlier was still stuck in Matrix’s arm now only snapped in half. He grabbed at it started stunning Matrix for a bit thus allowing Rambo to unleash his moves on to Matrix. Matrix blocked most of Rambo’s attacks but he then started to block them and throw his own punches at him too. Both men were now landing multiple blows on each other more with each blow nonstop. They attempted to block from one another. It was beautiful as both men known for their mastery over the battlefield and weapons are now resulting in their natural weapons.
Both men then proceeded to land devastating right hooks on each other's faces, both men stumbled from each cause a good form of distance from each other as they both spat blood. Matrix completely removed the stuck arrow from his arm as both he and Rambo pulled out their knives and chucked them at one another as they began running at each other as both their knives clashed and ricocheted off of one another and straight at the ones that threw them. Both men caught them as they then went for a knife attack. Rambo with a sideway knife attacks and Matrix with a vertical knife attack. Both knives violently clashed as Matrix’s knife broke in half as Rambo’s attack continued. Matrix managed to dodge the throat slit in time but just barely as the side of his neck was cut. Matrix ignored the cut as he elbowed Rambo and roundhouse kicked and punched him deep into the woods as he followed suit.
Matrix saw Rambo struggling to get up as from out of nowhere, Rambo threw a grenade at Matrix but Matrix jumped as the resulting explosion caused a smaller shockwave compared to the one from earlier to cause some vines from the trees to fall down. Matrix got up and was quickly met with a right hand in which stood his ground and delivered one of his own dropping Rambo to the ground. Matrix then went another punch but Rambo avoided on time and chucked his knife at a branch with more vines on it. The branch snapped as the vines fell on Matrix, Rambo got up as Matrix was busy removing the vines on him. Rambo went to punch Matrix but his punch was blocked as he then grabbed on to one of the dangling vines and pulled on it. The vine that was on Matrix that was connected to those vines that pulled him up from the ground, choking him in the process. Rambo pulled even more until Matrix was completely hung in from the ground as Matrix began to fight for his life. When continuing to fight with all he had, a photo fell from his pocket. Matrix kept trying to break off the vine but couldn’t since he was just too weakened to do so.
Rambo twisted the vines and broke Matrix’s neck. Rambo dropped his limp body and picked up a photo on the ground that Matrix left, it was a picture of Matrix and Jenny. Rambo looked back at Matrix's body and removed his red bandana and wrapped it around Matrix’s head and said “I’m sorry, don’t worry I’ll find her”. Rambo puts the photo in his pocket and screams as he runs into the jungle.
FINISH!/Results[]
Redshock: Doc, I’m getting emotional here. Why did this episode have to have a sad ending?
Mortician: Give me a moment, I’m grieving here. Aside from the sad conclusion, Matrix and Rambo are alike when it comes to intense training alongside use of versatile weaponry with strategic play. Matrix had the chance to outwit Rambo but Rambo could necessarily do the same considering how intelligent they are being a veteran in the U.S military group but there is a big difference
Redshock: And what a big difference it sure was. Rambo and Matrix were utterly equal in terms of hand to hand combat and experience having the set of sheer skill but this has changed with intelligence. Matrix can be a genius at times and could have won this bout if not for one specific thing. Rambo was in the military a lot longer so while Matrix had experience, Rambo on the other hand had much more with the experience gap no doubt.
Mortician: Matrix is a thinker and he does strategize but Rambo throughout his entire career as a veteran is a planner ahead of time. He can set booby traps, set them up the way he wants and the more he’s in the field, the more he can learn about his opponents small weaknesses which is why he survived for so long. It’s not to take anything away from Matrix but Rambo has been in far more worst situations continuously while Matrix had a short career and did retire early on. When it comes to the strength department, Rambo and Matrix are somewhat similar but Rambo is just much stronger than what people credit him for.
Redshock: Sure, Matrix held up that Phone Booth that’s over 720 kilograms and push Trucks up to 3 to 40 tons which we’ve established to be between 8000 to 16,000 LBS so he did hold the strength advantage since ripping someone’s heart out or even bones out isn’t comparable to this but Rambo is more then just muscle based. We have to keep note that Rambo also survived much more punishment than Matrix in the long run. Yeah Matrix has survived grenades, being hit by a car and brief explosions but Rambo was been electrocuted, stabbed, beaten, tortured, wounded and even had broken bones yet still was able to take out multiple people at once
Mortician: And let’s not forget that Rambo was in the military when he was young and so he had plenty of time to figure all these tests out and put that to his advantage. Matrix joined the military when he was 31 years old but Rambo started this when he was a teenager. The argument around Matrix winning is understandable as he has fought people like Rambo before but those people were not as strategic as Rambo is. No matter what you're in a situation of death, Rambo knows how to cheat death and he’s done so multiple times while surviving the hell he’s been through. Yes, Rambo suffers from PTSD but that isn’t a weakness that Matrix can necessarily exploit when it comes to mentality.
Redshock: John Matrix is one tough soldier and of course, he’s one of the best there is but he didn’t have the Knowledge, Strength, and Sheer Willpower to take someone on as ruthless and mindful as Rambo. It was only a matter of time when he was trapped into something he couldn’t get out of. I guess you can say that John Matrix was Ramb-owned!
Mortician: The Winner is: John Rambo!
