Jojo Battle Royale is a big fuckin' Death Battle by Taser Lad!
Description[]
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure! Time and Space don't matter in this brutal battle royale as the entire Joestar lineage clash in an 8 way battle to the death! Who'll stay standing while the others are retired?
Interlude[]
Jack: Jonathan Joestar, The Prestigous Gentleman with Luck (literally) behind him.
Vince: Joseph Joestar, The Prodigy of Hamon and Trickery.
Frank: Jotaro Kujo, The Stoic crusading dilinquent.
Jack: Josuke Higashikata, The stylish Diamond in the rough.
Vince: Giorno Giovanna, The mobster with a golden ambition.
Frank: Jolyne Cujoh, The free woman with stoney determination.
Jack: Johnny Joestar, The Gunslinging Jockey and President killer.
Vince: Josuke Higashikata, otherwise known as the fusion named Gappy.
Frank: If your a fan of anime or manga it probably won't take you long before you hear about the long running series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. A series that is as popular as it is influential. To the point where you could put it on the same shelf as legendary stories such as Dragon Ball or Fist of the North Star.
Jack: While Jojo's longevity can be credited to its unique style and power system, a major factor is its separation into different parts. With loosely connected protagonists with their own powers and personalities. So to celebrate this story running for nearly 40 years strong we will be having these eight protagonists fight against each other...what a way to celebrate a series am I right?
Vince: Sure is. Well as you would expect there are specific rules that we will have to go over before talking about what these guys can do.
1: Cross-Part Scaling will absolutely under no circumstances will be included. Because ultimately you could argue that everyone would have the exact same stats which would make the analysis very boring and complicated. This battle is more what each Joestar can actually do with scaling only from their parts.
2: Gold Experience Requiem will not be included. Not only because this makes the result very obvious but also because it requires Giorno to have the Requiem Arrow which isn't something he usually carried on him during the part.
3: After much thinking, I have decided that Tusk Act 4 will be included. Because unlike GER it is a natural evolution of Johnny's stand which he can use on his own. It's also not too overpowered to where the Jojo's don't stand a chance.
4: WIP! (I will add whether Soft and Wet GO BEYOND will be used later on whenever I get around to Jojolion.)
5: Some of you may be wondering why Jodio is not included in this battle. To put it simply Jojolands just doesn't have enough chapters to where Jodio can be fairly analysed. Otherwise the results would be incredibly flawed since Jodio could potentially gain an upgrade in his abilities that could completely change things.Frank: Damn that's a lotta rules. Makes sense though since not only is there 8 fucking people here but also because Jojo debates can be really...anxiety inducing.
Jack: With that said let's get right into this lineage free for all. This battle will be filled with tons of mind games and stand rushes so get prepared for this Death Battle!
Jonathan Joestar[]
Vince: Ah yes the 1890s. What a lovely time to be alive...if you were rich anyway. If you were rich you got to live a long life of comfort with great education, if you were poor...well I hope you enjoy tuberculosis.
Frank: This gap between the rich and the poor is best shown by two families who will be at odds with each other for generations. The Brandos and the Joestars.
Jack: These two families fates became intertwined when the Joestar family got into a horrifically fatal horse carriage accident. The conniving Dario Brando came across this accident decided to rob these assumedly dead people dry even when he could hear a baby crying in the carriage. I mean this is the same dude who beats his kid so I'm not too shocked.
Vince: What Dario didn't expect was that the baby wasn't the only survivor of this accident since the patriarch of the Joestar Family, George woke up. But George misguidedly believed that Dario was actually helping him and his family.
Frank: Don't worry...George becomes more annoyingly idiotic. Anyway because of Dario's "heroism" George felt like he owed a debt to this man. This supposed debt would effect nobody more in the future than his infant son, Jonathan!
Jack: For most of Jonathan's childhood he lived a fairly comfortable life. As the heir of the Joestar estate he not only got to live in a mansion full of servants who catered to his every whim...but he also had a really smart dog.
Vince: Sure his manners left a lot to be desired but he was overall a decent kid who valued being a Gentleman more than anything.
Frank: So you may be thinking that things are going a little too well and you'd be correct because ultimately the devil always collects his debts!See, Dario Brando had passed away and his final wish was for his son Dio to be moved from the slums of London into the high-life. George obviously agreed to this (because he's a fucking idiot).
Jack: So Dio arrived to the mansion. Happy days right? Jonathan now has a brother that he never had before and Dio got to move away from his nightmarish existence. It's not like this one meeting will completely change the fate of not only the both of these families but also the entire univer-
Jack: ...Oh well I guess this very specific scenario turned out to be true.
Vince: Dio was quick to assert his dominance in this scenario. His goal was to basically destroy Jonathan's life so that he'd be too weak to stand up to Dio so that he would be the soul heir of George Joestar's wealth.
Frank: And Dio was pulling all the stops to make sure that Jonathan's life would be hell. Not only did he beat the shit out of him but he also convinced all of Jojo's friends that he was a rat which effectively left him all alone. He even fucking turned Jonathan's father against him...by having better table manners. Fucking hell George...
Jack: But it didn't stop there since soon Jonathan met a young woman named Erina. They became very close to where they were basically dating. Thanks to this Jonathan was starting to feel happy again. Sure he lost so much but he gained so much as well.
Vince: Well Dio wasn't having that so he forced a kiss on Erina. With his twisted logic he ruined their romance since he was still Erina's first kiss.
Frank: Jonathan had enough. He ran to Dio and with rage in his heart beat the ever loving shit out of him. Knocking the shithead smile off his face so much that he was even crying. In retaliation to this...Dio threw Jonathan's dog in an incinerate JESUS CHRIST CAN THIS KID CATCH A BREAK!
Jack: Well he did kinda catch a break. For the next few years the feud had become a distant memory. Instead Dio pretended to be friends with Jojo. While in the background he was plotting to poison George Joestar just like he had done to his own father Dario all those years ago.
Vince: Jojo discovered this plot and swore to protect his father no matter what. Even going to the most dangerous street in London, Ogre Street. There he had gained the respect of the fan favourite Speedwagon. And by fan favourite I mean to an ear-bleedingly annoying degree.
Frank: Dio's plot had been discovered and his back was against the wall. So like a wounded animal, Dio used George's blood to power the Stone Mask. Turning himself into a fucking vampire!
Jack: Dio was now a complete monster. Being able to completely dismember a group of men with just the flick of his wrist. Jonathan however was determined to avenge his shithea- I mean kind and honourable father by making sure the monstrous evil of Dio from escaping into the real-world.
Vince: And Jonathan wasn't exactly fucked here. He could somewhat keep up with Dio because of his physicality and athleticism.
Frank: As you can tell from Jonathan's massive muscular body he is an absolute beast. Dude was literally able to keep moving when three athletic men were holding onto him[1]. Which makes stuff like him throwing Dio hard enough to smash a stair bannister[2] and lifting his entire bodyweight even when his shoulder was impaled by a spear make a bit more sense.[3]
Jack: He's oddly athletic for a man his size since he was able to spin himself around a spear and used it to jump upward[4]. According to Speedwagon, Jonathan apparently has a mental fortitude for fear and pain[5] to the point where the prospect of losing his fingers didn't scare him in the slightest[6] which will help a lot in this scenario since vampires are scawy.
Vince: Because of these skills Jonathan managed to survive that day. Managing to even defeat Dio leaving him to seemingly die in a fire that engulfed the Joestar Manor.
(Stop Music)
Frank: So with this Jonathan decided that he should continue on with his life. Especially since he rekindled his romance with Erina. So I guess Jonathan's life could finally go back to normal.
Jack: Silly Frank, there is no normal in Jojo. Because soon after Jonathan met a strange man named Will Zeppeli who said that Dio was still alive! Not only that but the only way to really get rid of this fella is to learn an ancient technique called "Hamon" or Sendo or whatever the fuck you want to call it.
Vince: This ancient technique uses breathing to essentially replicate the energy waves of sun. Which as you can guess is really effective against vampires.
Frank: So now that we have the goal of going after Dio once again who is quietly healing himself we also have a technique that can finally kill him. And Jojo was quick to learn Hamon to the point where he was using the specific breathing pattern even when he is sleeping[7]. But it doesn't just stop at killing vampires, Hamon allows Jonathan to heal from injuries as serious as a broken neck[8] and even eject poisons from his body[9].
Jack: Hamon even allows Jonathan to control the bodies of other as well as we saw when used against Wang Chan[10] and Dobbie's head snakes. Hell if Jonathan really wants to he can somewhat walk on water[11] if he wants to cosplay as Jesus...no not that one wrong universe.
Vince: It also weirdly allows for purification as it allowed for Jonathan to remove Dio's hypnoses from a child[12]. But anyway, Hamon is mainly used to kill Vampires and Jonathan has many techniques to inject the Hamon into someone. All involving punching or kicking because Shonen.
Frank: There's his Zoom Punch which is where Jonathan dislocates and stretches the joints in his arm to increase his reach. Which sounds less like an attack and more like self-harming but thanks to Hamon he can dull the pain like an anaesthetic.
Jack: However most of these involve something called "Overdrive" which is essentially a fighting style Jonathan came up with where he transfers Hamon through his limbs. With the Sendo Hamon Overdrive he is able to transfer this energy of the sun through even walls to completely eradicate any sneaking Undead [13].
Vince: With Scarlet Overdrive he can concentrate Hamon into his hand to make fire based Hamon which can literally burn things like hair[14].
Frank: Overdrive Barrage is what you'd expect just a flurry of punches. Turquoise Blue Overdrive essentially send energy through water and finally Metal Silver Overdrive...conducts energy through metal. Seems pretty self explanatory.
Jack: Fun fact Jonathan can weaponise the magnetic traces in the human body to well magnetise objects. Now you'd think he'd do something really cool with this right? Well...he clumped a buncha leaves together to make a glider...yeah that'll come in handy!
Vince: Finally we have Jonathan's most famous technique the Sunlight Yellow Overdrive. It's his version of the Barrage attack that every Jojo (Except Joseph) can do. It basically allows him to put Hamon into every single punch he throws completely incinerating any sorta Undead villain.
Frank: Jonathan's also pretty intelligent which is going to become really common in this fight. He was able to find out the mechanics of how the Stone Mask worked through his own research. He's also an incredibly quick learner being able to master Hamon in just two weeks which is pretty impressive since it took decades for Will Zeppeli to do so.
Jack: Thanks to the defeat of Bruford, Jonathan managed to claim his sword. Dubbed Luck and Pluck this sword is tough enough to slice through someone like Dio Brando as if he was butter.
Vince: A lot of that is probably Jonathan's own AP. Okay yes audience we're going to get into Jonathan's AP so get cozy. Even before he started training in Hamon dude was able to kick off a wall so hard that it cracked[15].
Frank: However this wasn't enough to defeat the mighty Tarkus who managed to tear Zeppeli in half. Before his death, Zeppeli managed to transfer all of his remaining energy into Jonathan. This amped Jonathan's already mind boggling strength to the point where he completely demolished Tarkus. Being able to tear through him without any effort.
Jack: Now with scaling Hamon users to Undead beings you have to be very careful. Because a lot of instances where a Hamon User is seen dominating a Vampire or Zombie is because of their use of Hamon which essentially negates their durability.
Frank: For this example we can see that Jonathan should actually scale to Tarkus. Why? Well if you look closely at the panel where Jonathan makes contact with Tarkus' hand, there isn't the usual effect of Hamon or even a sound effect. This implies that Jonathan was using his own strength to completely slice through Tarkus' hand.
Vince: While we see that Tarkus' arm had Hamon injected into it we think this more shows that Jonathan used the Hamon when he had already broken through Tarkus' skin.
Jack: This strength advantage is solidified when Jonathan was able to rip a chain necklace in half which even Tarkus wasn't able to break. As everyone knows by now this means that Jonathan should at least scale to the famous cliff slicing feat that Tarkus performed[16].
Frank: We actually get a good shot of how much the sword had slashed through which will help us get a volume. Since this takes place near London we can assume that this cliff was a sedimentary rock more specifically limestone.
Vince: Finally we multiply this by the violent fragmentation of limestone to get our result. 0.025 Tons of TNT which just about gets into the Small Building level realm of power. Now this was already a super casual feat for Tarkus so because Jonathan managed to beat the fuck out of him it should make sense that he should be comfortably at all full-on Building level.
Frank: Because of this he should at least put him on the same level as vampire Jack the Ripper...yes that Jack the Ripper. Who managed to throw a horse carriage so hard that it collapsed a tunnel[17]. While this feat is mainly a chain-reaction so Jack shouldn't scale to the whole result it is still quite impressive.
Jack: Despite his size Jonathan is actually really quick. He claims that he is about as fast as Will Zeppeli in combat and he isn't exactly the type to brag for no reason [18]. Will himself was able to react to projectiles that were stated to be moving at "explosive speed"[19].
Vince: Speaking of Zeppeli he was actually able to intercept an attack from Dio before it could actually make contact with Will. Judging from how far away Jonathan was from Dio we can determine that Jonathan had to have moved at speeds of 190 m/s. This should actually apply to his combat and reaction speed too since he had to put out his hand to block Dio's punch [20].
Frank: Even when Jonathan was injured he was able to tackle Erina to the ground before she could be hit by projectiles launched from an explosion [21]. Okay now it's about time we actually talk about how fast him and Zeppili would need to be to react to these explosive projectiles. It has been found that detonation velocity should be at most 63.2 m/s. Although this ain't even close to as impressive as when he reacted to Dio's eye lasers with a really stupid name that can move at speeds of Mach 34 [22]. Sooooo High Hypersonic Jonathan?
Jack: Ehhhh saying that Jonathan actually scales to Dio's eye lasers is a bit dodgy if you ask us. While yes Jonathan did react to the beams before they could hit him it seemed that in this instance he barely reacted to it. This is backed up by when the beams had actually gone through Jonathan's hands he wasn't able to react. Only surviving because Dio seemingly barely missed.
Vince: It's also likely that Jonathan even reacting to this attack was a fluke. As we saw the next time Jonathan came into contact with Dio's eye beams he had to put his arms up before Dio had actually fired. Even then he still wasn't able to move away from them in time[23].
Frank: So yeah sadly we have to keep Jonathan in the Subsonic+ range. But hey it was enough for him to defeat Dio in their final battle seemingly killing him once and for all. Finally the dark shadow that Dio had over his life had been eliminated by the light of a better tomorrow.
Jack: ...Oddly poetic there Frank. Well yes Jonathan was now free from Dio's evil so he decided to finally marry Erina. To celebrate they went on a boat to go to America for their honeymoon. EXCEPT OF COURSE DIO WAS STILL ALIVE EVN AS JUST A FECKIN' HEAD!
Vince: While a big factor for this decision was obviously that he was only a head, another major factor was that Dio had gained a respect for his half-brother. So wanting to give him a quick death he fired his eye beams through Jonathan's throat. Not only to kill Jonathan quickly and painlessly but also to take advantage of the Hamon users weakness, to disrupt their breathing.
Frank: However Jonathan managed to keep fighting and even managed to cause the boat they were on to explode. Once again defeating Dio, Jonathan held onto his half-brother's head in his arms.
Jack: Not out of hatred. Far from it, he held his brother's head in a hug. Even after how Dio took so much joy in causing as much pain to him as possible, Jonathan still spent his final moments in life showing love. Truly showing Jonathan's compassion and love that had defined not only him but also the people around him.
Vince: As the last remnants of the boat sank into the watery abyss of the ocean and the final embers of flame escaped into the air, Jonathan's legacy may not have been told as bed-time stories to the people of the world...but his heroics and bravery would always live on in the hearts of the people that remain.
Joseph Joestar[]
Vince: 50 years later in 1938, The world was a very chaotic place. Sure technology had advanced since Jonathan had passed away but it was still slowly marching it's way towards total world conflict once again with the rise of Adolf Hitler.
Frank: But somehow that wasn't the world's biggest threat at this point since the long sleeping creators of the vampires, The Pillar Men were set to awake after long being in hybernation.
Jack: These ...extremely attractive um I mean mysterious Pillar Men were extremely powerful. How powerful? Well you know those vampires that were such a big problem in the last part...yeah they fucking eat them! So if these lads were to wake up well it could be a complete shit show for the human race.
Vince: But this is where the Joestar fate came in handy because the grandfather of Jonathan takes the stage to defend against human subjugation, His name? Joestar. Joseph Joestar!
Frank: Oh but don't believe that Joseph was your granddad's Joestar. Nah forget all about that stuff about being a gentleman because Joseph was snarky and very quick to anger.
Jack: Despite his missing biological parents, Joseph still grew up in absolute luxury being raised by his grandmother Erina. But see Erina didn't want Joseph to know about his families history so she kept any mention of Dio or Stone Masks away from him, so that he wouldn't die at a young age like his grandfather.
Vince: Well the problem with that is Joseph is not one to back down from a fight. Beating the ever loving shit out of anyone who disrespected him or the people he cared about. Which may sound sweet...but sometimes it can be a bit mistimes like when some dudes hijacked his Uncle Speedwagon's plane and held them hostage.
Frank: Now usually this would be the best way to get your a nice hole decoration in your forehead, Joseph could naturally use Hamon to a greater extent to people who had spent years to train under it. Out of all the ways that this scenario could've went jumping out of a crashing plane with just a seat as a cushion was actually a pretty good outcome.
Jack: That natural usage of Hamon came pretty handy when he came to New York and fate came to bite him! Because the curse of the Stone Mask returned, forcing him to fight against a Vampiric Hamon Master named Straizo. Who was less arrogant than Dio and was more willing to end the fight as quickly as possible.
Vince: But see just because Joseph never received actual training doesn't mean that he was completely fucked in this fight because he's quite creative with his usage of the ancient martial art. Whether it be turning clumps of hair into pins that can block bullets[24] or send bottle caps flying at such speeds that it can break fingers[25].
Frank: Remember Dio's eye beams? Yeah well Straizo could use those too. But because these beams were made up of high pressure fluid Joseph could send them right back using shot glasses[26]. But because Joseph's a sadistic fucker he's also willing to make a cactus explode into a dude's face[27]. Y'know general quirky girl stuff!
Jack: Joseph also brought along some weapons with him to this fight such as a shit ton of hand grenades and a Tommy gun. Which he can imbue Hamon into to extend his range[31] or to just mow down his enemy in a volley of bullets[32]. Where Joseph actually got these weapons...well don't ask!
Vince: Later on he gets hold of a War Hammer that he can also charge Hamon into. However there is no weapon of his more unique than his Clackers.
Frank: Born from his want to come up with a cool attack, Joseph has multiple uses with these Clackers. Whether it be to beat someone to death or by throwing them, Now while this sounds dumb they come back to Joseph like a boomerang[33]! Now that's one helluva sneak attack...if he doesn't make a fool of himself.
Jack: Now because of these tricks Joseph managed to defeat Straizo. The Pillar Men were an entirely different story as his inexperience and training was becoming evident. Even with the experienced Caesar Zeppeli they were both defeated easily by one of the Pillar Men, Wammu. In order to not be killed Joseph made a promise to Wammu that he would train to have a rematch.
Vince: Wammu agreed to this but to make sure that Joseph actually showed up to the rematch he put a poison ring inside Joseph's windpipe. If Joseph didn't get a cure in Wammu's lip-piercing then he would die. If that wasn't motivation enough another of the Pillar Men named Esidisi did the same because he's a dickhead!
Frank: Now despite Joseph being a lazy bastard he seemed to be pretty motivated to train. So he sought out Caesar's master Lisa Lisa who fun fact is Joseph's secret mother...which makes certain future scenes kinda fucking gross...
Jack: Oh God that scene was creepy enough as is...now it has that awkward Luke and Leia kissing effect. Like did Araki write this scene knowing that Lisa Lisa was Joseph's mother or did he come up with that backstory later on?
Vince: Let's just move on from that! After 3 weeks of training Joseph's skill in Hamon drastically improved. To the point where him and Caesar had become superior to their trainers.
Frank: Like he's gotten so good with Hamon that he any sort of bladed weapon just becomes fucking useless! Try to stab him and he just stops it with his pinky finger[34] or even just walk on pits of spikes without a problem[35]. He even has the potential to conduct Hamon through common things like wool[36]. That's right this dude can turn a vampire to ash with his hat!
Jack: Joseph also learnt how to send Hamon through his elbows[37] and can also make use of the same Zoom Punch that his grandfather was using in the part[38]. We must not forgot how formidable Joseph is even without Hamon.
Vince: But we've gone very far without mentioning his greatest advantage in a battle and that's his intelligence. He has shown to be very receptive to extremely small details like how he figured out a racist crook's dominant hand from the stain in his shirt pocket and used it to read his future movements.
Frank: His trickster personality comes through with his fights as he reads his opponents and uses their own minds and weaknesses against them. Because of this he is known to use tricks to fuck people over, some of these people he's tricked are not exactly idiots for example Santana, Straizo and even Wammu himself!
Jack: This comes through with Joseph's most famous trick. That being his ability to predict what a person is going to say next. For example, Hey Frank! You're next line will be "Predicting people's lines? Is he telepathic or something?"
Frank: "Predicting people's lines? Is he telepathic or something? WAIT WHAT!?
Vince: To answer your question not exactly. It's basically the a showing of how well he reads his opponents. He basically makes his opponents so nervous and psyched out that they will do something that is very easily predictable to him. Essentially Joseph would be the greatest chess player that has ever lived!
Frank: Well except for the fact that if he lost he'd probably jump over the table and punch his opponent in the face. Which would hurt a lot! He's usually able to easily physically overpower[40] anyone that attempts to fight him, even if they are extremely muscular[41]. But more impressive is how he's been able to harm Vampires[42] with his punches[43].
Jack: One of these Vampires was Straizo. Who he had consistently managed to make bleed profusely by swinging his Tommy Gun at him.
Vince: Y'know that scene in DBZ where Mr Satan broke some tiles in half with a Karate chop? Yeah well Joseph was able to do something very similar by smashing the ground to pieces with a Karate chop[44]. Makes a lot of sense since he's been able to throw his clacker at a pillar so hard that it was embedded in it.
Frank: Trust me that's a lot harder to do than it looks. Anyway, Joseph is a really tough dude like there was this one time where he and Caesar were pushed off the top of a tower and he was completely fine[45]. Jack how tough is that?
Jack: Glad you asked. Since the tower was 24 metres tall and Joseph is around 97 Kg we can figure out that Joseph in particular tanked 22 Kilojoules without a scratch. Pretty consistent with Joseph's other durability feats of surviving a punch that dented steel, Being smashed through a horse carriage designed to hold Zombie Horses and jumping off that same horse carriage that was moving at 16 m/s.
Vince: Alright alright there's a massive elephant in the room that we need to address. Are we using Pillar Men scaling? Well..no not at all. See the main issue with this scaling is that Hamon directly negates the Pillar Men's durability thanks to that whole energy of the sun business. A lot of the instances used in debates revolve around Joseph using Hamon to actually harm them.
Frank: When he poked his finger through Esidisi's hand? Yup Hamon. When he broke Wammu's legs? You already saw that it was just Rebuff Overdrive. Breaking Kars' blade? You already know that it's Hamon. Anyway, you get the point that basically these examples don't actually apply to Joseph's AP. Plus with Joseph's difficulty against just normal Vampires...scaling him to the strongest Vampires is just something we can't agree with.
Jack: Joseph tanking hits from them is a wash. This is thanks to Caesar's (Joseph's physical equal) encounter with Wamuu bouncing off him fracturing his arm. Divine Sandstorm is even worse since that famously put Caesar on death's door. Put Joseph in that same scenario and he wouldn't come out any better. Even when Joseph survived the Divine Sandstorm it was through making it weaker rather than actually tanking it. AKA not actually scaling or tanking. Esidisi negates durability so no dice in that department either.
Vince: Even when Joseph was hit by Santana (The weakest Pillar Man) his body gave way[46]. Sure Joseph has been hit by Kars and caused some superficial damage to Wamuu, we consider these outliers since it's basically only two instances going against the numerous pieces of evidence that we have presented.
Frank: While Joseph doesn't scale to these Pillar Men in terms of Power and Durability, Speed is actually much more believable. He has instances of to attacks from the three Pillar Men. Including Kars. Kars has some really impressive speed feats like disappearing from view before light could dissipate[47] and react to a laser from a close range[48]. This second feat has been calculated at around 40 times the Speed of Light!
Jack: This is actually pretty consistent since both Joseph and Caesar managed to hop out of the way of light reflected from the Red Stone of Aja [49]. Judging by how far away they were from the stone and how high they jumped to avoid it we figured out that they would have had to react 1.32 times the Speed of Light. While this feat is sometimes disregarded because it is believed that the laser was already passing Joseph and Caesar, we don't personally agree with this as Caesar comments "that was close" even if this was true the scaling still holds strong as Caesar and Joseph seem to keep track with the laser as it comes towards them.
Vince: Also to add onto this it doesn't really matter if they actually were in danger of being hit. The feat is them managing to jump out of the way before the laser even makes contact with the ship. Which from what we see in the manga is still the case. So to cut this short Joseph sits pretty comfortably in the FTL range with the scaling to get to FTL+ at his absolute maximum. Which is pretty damn impressive for an English trickster.
Frank: While Caesar may have had to sacrifice his life, Joseph once again met up with the Pillar Men and defeated them. While Esidisi died like a punk, Wamuu managed to have a good send off. Finally, Joseph got to Kars who managed to turn himself into the Ultimate Lifeform using the Red Stone of Aja, see that thing became important after all.
Jack: Jojo was ultimately overpowered by the newly Ultimate Lifeform, Having to use his greatest technique...running away in order to survive. Eventually he managed to get to a massive volcano where he had his arm cut off which is not exactly handy.
Vince: *Ignores Jack's joke* His back was up against the wall and he was on deaths door. But thanks to that stone he managed to cause an eruption that sent both Kars and him into the atmosphere.
Frank: Through some luck and plenty of bullshit Kars was hit by debris that sent him into space. Unable to die or escape Kars was frozen inside and out, trapped until he eventually stopped thinking. Jesus the existential dread is strong with this one! Joseph survived the fall and after a few weeks of recovery he was able to begin his new life of normalcy.
Jack: He married a lady named Suzy Q and had a child with her. Fun fact Joseph is actually the longest living Jojo with Araki stating that he was still alive by the year 2012, making him 91 years old.
Vince: Whether it be his cunning or sheer luck nothing has been able to keep Joseph Joestar down for too long. He is the perfect example of the cunning and ability to defy the odds that became normal for the other Joestar's. I guess you could say he was a bit of a trail-blazer in a certain way. What a bloke!
Joseph Joestar: Heh Heh Heh Heh Heh! Well...I guess I did it again!
Jotaro Kujo[]
Vince: We once again jump 50 years into the future, a full century had passed since Jonathan's death and a coffin was pulled up from the bottom of the ocean.
Frank: This coffin belonged to Dio Brando...now just DIO and he had fused himself to Jonathan's body just like he had planned and now he was once again roaming the world. Escaping death for the fourth time now! I swear this dude is the luckiest guy in the world!
Jack: It didn't take long for DIO to stab himself with a mysterious arrow that gave him amazing abilities. Because of his use of Jonathan's body this ability manifested down the surviving Joestar bloodline. Including a now elderly Joseph Joestar. However more importantly for this bio this ability was passed down to Jonathan's great grandson...Jotaro Kujo!
Frank: Oh wow what a lovely guy...he has such a way with words!
Vince: Well...it makes sense because Jotaro has always been a bit of a delinquent. He's never been afraid to have a fight against somebody who bugs him...hell even if they were teachers. If he eats at a restaurant that has terrible food then he wouldn't pay for it.
Frank: Well one of these days he got into a fight with a bunch of armed punks and he beat the ever loving shit out of them. But here's the thing...he didn't know how he did it. He had a feeling throughout the fight that he was holding something at bay. So he came to one conclusion...that he was haunted by an evil spirit. To protect others he decided to lock himself in a prison cell so that he wouldn't hurt anybody...huh pretty selfless for a punk. I was expecting him to just go out in the world and use the spirit for fun.
Jack: Jotaro refused to leave this cell so his mother called Joseph Joestar to convince him to get out. Joseph brought along his friend Avdol who had the same ability as Jotaro.
Vince: See Jotaro wasn't possessed by an evil spirit. Because of DIO stabbing himself with that arrow he gained the ability to manifest his fighting spirit. This was actually what was called a stand! Get used to these because gone is Hamon with Stands taking their place with future Jojo parts.
Frank: Well with some trickery Avdol managed to get Jotaro out of his cell. After this Jotaro learned about the history of his family and the fact that DIO had returned after 100 years. Damn that's a lot to take in. "Oh you have this really cool ghost thing. Oh and by the way the enemy that has haunted our family for a whole century is somehow back to life and he's fused his head to the decapitated body of your great granddad!" Imagine getting all that...so many questions...
Jack: It was in good time too since not long after Jotaro's mother had also manifested a stand. Except she didn't have the same mental fortitude as her son so she was put into a coma. The only way to save her was to go after DIO in Egypt and kill him.
Vince: After befriending one of DIO's minions named Kakyoin, Jotaro and his crew were ready to go on their journey. Before he left Avdol used tarot cards to give Jotaro's stand a name... Star Platinum!
Frank: And oh man did Jotaro luck out to get Star Platinum as a stand. Star Platinum is an absolute swiss-army knife of a stand with a shit ton of useful abilities for the many scenarios that he and the Stardust Crusaders would face. Such as enhanced vision which allows it to see things from 400 metres away[51].
Jack: It has been able to catch a microscopic stand[52] and make such a detailed drawing of a fly in the background of a dark photograph[53] that allowed for the Stardust Crusaders to find out that DIO was in Egypt in the first place! It was also even able to spot a poker technique that wouldn't usually be visible to the human eye[54]. This actually makes the idea of sneaking up on Jotaro nearly laughable.
Vince: This is extremely helpful because Star Platinum will automatically protect Jotaro even when he isn't commanding it to do so[55]. Star Platinum also apparently has a photographic memory. Makes a lot of sense since it was able to remove DIO's flesh buds from Kakyoin and Polnareff's brains which even a surgeon couldn't do.
Frank: This precision helps immensely with Jotaro's aim allowing him to throw a knife into a tire from a large distance away[56] and accurately aim ball bearings to hit targets from 20 metres away.
Jack: There's also a really strange ability that Star Platinum has been shown to do and that's phasing. It's been able to phase through objects[57] and people's chests to potentially grab their hearts[58]. However it should be noted that Jotaro has never really used this in a fight so it's very likely that he would use this straight away to kill his opponents.
Vince: I mean hey even without the prospect of just phasing through his enemies it's still quite a useful ability in a fight. Now whether Jotaro could pull a Flash and just avoid being hit...while it makes sense it's never shown that he would or could do that. I know nobody is mentioning this but just thought it should be mentioned.
Frank: To close the distance on his foes Jotaro also has Star Finger! Where SP for whatever reason extends its fingers to slice through people like butter[59]. Fuck he's even used this attack to flick a button so hard that it went through Forever's (the monkey's) head like a bullet[60].
Jack: Star Platinum has also shown a bizarre ability of enhanced inhalation. As shown when it managed to suck up a fog stand like a hoover[61]. This is extremely impressive since this fog was completely covering the small town that they were in. By calculating the radius of the town and the height of the tallest tower it can be deduced that the fog weighed around 256 thousand tons!
Vince: We can't forget that a big reason Jotaro survived so many stand encounters is his intelligence as he has a knack for tricking stand users into putting themselves into scenarios where they are vulnerable[62]. This can be attributed to his bluffing skills.
Frank: Dude is an absolutely expert bluffer. Proven in his card game with Darby (an expert card player) where he was able to give him a panic attack even when he had a really bad deck. He was also able to cleverly trick Enya the Hag into revealing herself as a stand user.
Jack: After a long journey across the world the Stardust Crusaders finally arrived to Egypt and raided DIO's mansion. DIO's time stopping ability was no joke and proved to be too much for the other Stardust Crusaders...so you may be asking how the hell does Jotaro fight against this mind boggling power...well he steals it!
Vince: Since Star Platinum and The World are the same type of stand Jotaro was able to copy DIO's signature ability. Allowing him to stop time[65] for approximately 5 seconds at max! This basically countered DIO's trump card especially since Jotaro could move and think when the Time Stop was used against him. What made it worse for DIO was how Star Platinum could punch right through him with no trouble.
Frank: As you can expect from a punchy ghost that relies on punching really fast and hard...it can punch really hard. Being able to casually send opponents flying with his punches, not mattering whether there are stone pillars[66] or walls[67] are in the way. Oh but don't think this is its upper limits.
Jack: Star Platinum has been shown to casually deflect Kakyoin's Emerald Splash which has been shown to be able to blast through car doors and blast the top off a building. In this very same fight Star Platinum managed to punch Kakyoin's stand so hard that it created a shockwave that effected the entire school they were fight in. By finding how big the shockwave was we found out that this would require 0.023 Tons of TNT[68].
Vince: It's also been able to beat the ever loving shit out of stands like Dark Blue Moon[69] who could generate a whirlpool worth over 6 tons of TNT...which by the way Jotaro survived being in[70] without being turned into chum.
Frank: Oh you think we're done? Oh absolutely not. See later in the part a car stand called Wheel of Fortune managed to drive through a fucking cliff without any issue. Immediately after this Jotaro was still confident that he could take him on[71].
Jack: Now because this fight took place near the Indian border and has cliffs that look very similar to the ones we see, we can assume that this fight took place in Ladakh. Ladakh's rocks are mostly basalt and by finding the volume of the rock destroyed we can find out that Wheel of Fortune was exerting 0.28 Tons of TNT! Another famous feat is the famous feat of smashing High Priestess' teeth which would require between 0.09 or 9.39 Tons of TNT[72]. The fact that Star Platinum gets stronger the angrier he gets, Building level to Large Building level should be grand...fuck that was a lot...
Vince: No wonder its able to turn itself and Jotaro into human projectiles as a way of 'flying'. Anyway, don't think that Jotaro can't beat the shit out of people by himself. He's been able to kick a toilet so hard it shattered, Knee a dude so hard he broke a metal door and even beat the shit out of Alessi when he was transformed into a small child.
Frank: To effectively use his stand in combat Jotaro needed to have some insane combat and reaction speeds. Like it's a pretty common instance where SP has caught bullets with its fingers. But there's actually some more impressive stuff. Like how an older and weaker SP was stated to be able to exceed the speed of light. It's pretty explicit in most translations that its more referring to its actual speed rather than the time stopping ability.
Jack: Most impressively is how he was able to fight against a mind controlled and speed boosted Polnareff...even when he was held back in fear of harming him[74]. So it's very easy to decide that Jotaro's reaction speed scale to Silver Chariot. Now Chariot was able to easily block the Sun's beams which have been stated to be lightspeed numerous times[75]. This would require SC to move its arms at about 7 times the Speed of Light! Alright with that settled its about time we addressed the Hanged Man shaped elephant in the room.
Vince: This is of course in reference to the famous feat of Silver Chariot slicing the mirror hopping Hanged Man before it could reach a coin [76]. There has been quite a lot of debate when it comes to this feat and it's pretty understandable why both sides believe that its either bullshit or that its reliable. This is just our own opinions n' shit we're not like paid (thanks to not having a union) professionals so like...don't take this as gospel. Believe what you wanna believe.
Frank: With that said we think this feat is fine to use...however there is a but. See we are not actually saying that Polnareff has lightspeed reactions because that would be untrue, he is close but no. Because it's more Silver Chariot being obviously faster than Polnareff. Which explains the reason why timing and predicting was such a big factor for this fight. It's like if you were getting into a fight with a Peregrine Falcon while you had a gun. Your gun is obviously fast enough to blitz the Falcon but you aren't fast enough to actually react to its dive. So you would need to figure out where it actually is coming from so you can accurately shoot it. Make sense? Well I hope so anyway.
Jack: No yeah that makes sense pal. Well anyway, Silver Chariot gets two hits on Hanged Man. The first hit required it to move its arm at speeds of 7 times the speed of light however the most famous hit, the second one had to have Polnareff swing at 565 times the speed of light! So the fact that Star Platinum reacted to these attacks even while Silver Chariot was buffed AND while he is held back.
Vince: As you can expect from all these feats the final battle between Jotaro and DIO was fuckin' legendary! Truly one of the tensest battles in Shonen history. Eventually it came to a standstill when Jotaro had a meme machine dropped on his head. It was not looking good for Jotaro as it looked like he was crushed to death under the Road Roller. But thanks to Time Stop he managed to escape.
Frank: DIO and Jotaro attacked each other at once. The sheer force of this clash caused DIO's body to violently explode finally ending his influence over the Joestar family...that does end his influence right?
Jack: W-Well physically yeah. Thanks to DIO's death Jotaro's mother was healed from her illness seen from the start of the part. While many friends had died on this trip it managed to end on a bittersweet tone as the surviving Stardust Crusaders separated from each other for the last time. However Jotaro continues his fight against the shadows of DIO's legacy for the rest of his days.
Vince: It's no wonder why Jotaro is basically the main character of the franchise. Jotaro is the pinnacle of courage and the ability to never show fear that makes him pretty inspiring in some way. However if you were one of his enemies and you see him pointing his finger at you...all I'll say is that you're probably fucked!
Josuke Higashikata[]
Vince: The town of Morioh-Cho seems like a paradise when you first look at it, with it's low population and peaceful atmosphere its ideal for a comfortable holiday. It has a good selection of landmarks which allow for some fun exploration for tourists and even residents. *Sigh* What a nice little town!
Jack: BUT IS IT REALLY? It may be peaceful but don't think that it is completely safe. According to crime reports it has eight times the amount of missing persons cases than the national average. That's right there's a serial killer thats been on the loose for 15 years with absolutely no sign of being caught but there's also a crazy guy shooting stand arrows at people! So...not exactly perfect.
Frank: But thankfully there is one of these stand users who puts everything into protecting his town from harm. This being the dilinquent with a shitty haircut...Josuke Higashikata!
Frank: Woah what the fuck is his problem?
Vince: L-Look I wouldn't test it mate. He really doesn't like having his haircut made fun of...and to be real with you I don't know how effective the fourth wall is in protecting us...
Jack: Yeah I wouldn't bet on that I'm not gonna lie. Anyway, Josuke is the result of a one night stand between Joseph Joestar and Tomoko Higashikata...when Joseph was in his 60s. Yeah I know, that cringing face you're making right now...yeah everyone has that exact same reaction. Almost as bad as that Lisa Lisa debacle.
Frank: Wait...Joseph not only cheated on his wife but also had a kid when he was in his fucking 60s!? Jesus first off that's an image I don't want to see in my head...and I kinda lost a little of respect for him.
Vince: So as you can expect Joseph wasn't exactly a part of Josuke's childhood. Leaving Tomoko as a single mother only really having the support of her father. Despite this they got by and Josuke seemingly had a pretty normal early childhood...well for a little bit anyway.
Frank: Until the little guy suddenly got a really bad fever very similar to the one that Jotaro's mother had...just around the time that DIO had stabbed himself with a stand arrow...interesting timing I must say. Well anyway the young Josuke had this fever for so long that he was very close to death so Tomoko tried to bring him to the hospital. Because fate and luck are dickheads in Jojo there was a massive snowstorm that day.
Jack: Because of the snow that covered the ground their car wasn't able to move. All seemed lost until a bloodied teenager with a pompadour saved their lives by placing his coat - something that was evidently of great important to him - underneath the wheels. Allowing for their car to finally move so that they could go to a hospital.
Vince: Despite being a child Josuke never forgot that selflessness and viewed the teenager as a role model that he aspired to be. Not only in spirit but also physically as he donned his pompadour hairstyle...which is why he gets very violently angry when you insult his hair.
Frank: That wasn't the only thing to change about Josuke since that incident. Because after he was cured of his fever he manifested his own stand which he used throughout his childhood to heal people's injuries. Life was pretty normal for Josuke until his first year of high sch- *notices Jack glaring at him* I-I mean secondary school. Where he met with previous protagonist Jotaro Kujo who explained to him that he was the illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar.
Jack: To add onto that emotional gut punch he was also told that there were a shit ton of evil stand users in the town...all thanks to a stand arrow that used to belong to DIO. That's right even after DIO had his blown up by Star Platinum and turned to dust by the sun...he's still a massive pain in the arse.
Vince: Not long after Josuke's grandfather a very hardworking police man was killed by one of the stand users. While Josuke was absolutely enraged he also made a promise that he would protect the people of Morioh just like his grandfather did. Well he definitely had his work put up for him as a serial killer named Yoshikage Kira was becoming more and more desperate to keep his identity hidden.
Frank: And don't worry his stand, Crazy Diamond is perfectly suited for the job. Like Star Platinum it is really strong and fast but also has really good precision. Like when it was able to precisely punch Harvest while it was on top of Okuyasu without hurting him [77].
Jack: This precision is put to good use for extending Josuke's combat range. While on his first try he wasn't too good at hitting his targets with his ball bearings[78] but he eventually got better until he was able to get an accurate shot on a rat[79]. He also has access to actual rifle bullets allowing him to hit targets from 60 to 70 metres away[80]. Even a target as small as a fucking rat[81] jeez his aim really improved huh?
Vince: We've also seen Josuke being pretty creative with the things he uses as projectiles. Like when he used a shard of glass. Hell by using a bit of dry blood and a bit of restoration he can turn these projectiles into home-made homing missiles[82] so even when he misses he can still have the opportunity to land a hit on his opponent. God he'd make a killing in a Call of Duty lobby.
Frank: Speaking of which we need to talk about Crazy Diamond's restoration ability. As the name suggests Crazy Diamond can repair and restore things that are broken. While Josuke being the nice guy he is uses it to heal his friends...but when he's not so friendly he can be awfully creative with his level of brutality.
Jack: Restoration is one of the most shockingly versatile abilities I have ever seen. It has allowed Josuke to do some...oddly disturbing acts of violence like implanting a knife into a dude's stomach[83] or fucking fuse people into objects like rocks [84] or paper[85] ...like you were laughing but just imagine being turned into one of these objects. You not only are inside something that can't move...but it can't die either. So basically your stuck in the exact same position forever...unable to do anything as all you can do is collect dust. The existential dread of such a fate is *starts breathing heavy* REALLY FUCKING DISTURBI-
Vince: I wouldn't think about the logistics if I were you. It kinda just becomes really scary...anyway when Josuke gets pissed off he can also maim people by incorrectly healing your injuries[86]. Less disturbingly he can use restoration to trap a water stand[87] ...honestly A+ for creativity Josuke.
Frank: Oh you think we're done. YOU THINK WE'RE DONE! OF COURSE NOT! Crazy Diamond has literally managed to reduce a bowl of spaghetti into its basic ingredients[88] and Change the fucking letters on a lottery ticket[89] HOW DOES THAT EVEN WORK WHAT IS IT EVEN RESTORING HERE!?
Jack: One of its more...disgusting abilities is that he can turn his own blood into a projectile sharp enough to cut air bubbles. If Josuke gets into a bit more of a sticky situation he can also drag himself away from a scene which as you can imagine is really handy especially when he was fighting against a dude who shoots out explosive bubbles [90] however the most impressive thing we've seen restoration do was regenerating someone after they were blown up by Killer Queen [91].
Vince: 'Mind you Killer Queen's bombs literally erase any trace of a person! Jesus fuckin' Christ even if Josuke can't heal himself Crazy Diamond is still an absolute beaut of a stand! As you can expect to use this versatile ability as well as he does Josuke needs to be pretty damn smart as like his other family members he's been able to trick opponents into basically defeating themselves [92]
Frank: Josuke is a remarkably quick thinker [93] and he's actually very perceptive to small details. Like when he was able to find out where Highway Star's stand user was with the help of Koichi or when he managed to make Yoshikage Kira reveal himself by asking Josuke to heal him, proving that he had a stand. Pretty clever for a guy with a cinder block on his head!
The sound glass breaking interrupts the analysis...
(Stop Music)
Josuke: WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY HAIR!
Frank: HOLY SHIT HOW DID HE GET HERE!?
Vince: *steps back* W-Well damn I guess the fourth wall isn't really much of a shield in this scenario...never really seen anything like this before...
Jack: *also steps back* T-This is Josuke's rage mode where he enters into a literal blind rage [94] that has a bonus of making Crazy Diamond stronger than it was before...which I think we're gonna get a first hand viewing of.
Frank: W-Wait c-c'mon Josuke I-It was just a jok-
Crazy Diamond: DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA DORA!!!
Jack: You alright Frank that looked like it hurt...
Frank: J-Just shut up and move on!
Vince: Well as you all saw there Crazy Diamond is an absolute monster in battle. It can casually punch through [95] walls [96] and people's [97] torsos...don't worry Josuke isn't a psycho he healed them afterwards [98]. It's even been shown to completely destroy a motorbike within a matter of seconds [99] in the coolest scene in the manga!
Jack: Remember that time Josuke turned Angelo into a rock? Well Crazy Diamond was able to smash this rock to pieces with a flurry of punches. Since Granite is the most common type of rock in Japan we can assume that it was basically just a block of Granite. Judging by its size we figured out that this flurry of punches had to exert 0.018 Tons of TNT! Damn no wonder those punches really hurt Frank.
Frank: *shudders* C-Crazy Diamond should be tougher than Yukako's stand Love Deluxe which shielded her from an explosion created by Echoes Act 2 [100].
Vince: Now I know what you're thinking. "It's not an actual explosion just a sound attack" [101] While yes it technically wasn't an explosion it still transferred the energy of one directly to Yukako. This makes sense considering how Act 2 has shown to work. Anyway with that said judging by the cloud of dust created by the 'explosion' it has been found that it shot out around 0.046 Tons of TNT!
Frank: I mean all this stuff is pretty impressive and all but they actually don't hold a candle to tanking hits from an electric stand called Red Hot Chilli Pepper. Why is that so impressive? Well at the time RHCP had absorbed ALL THE ELECTRICITY IN MORIOH-CHO [102]!
Jack: This is actually a lot more impressive than you would expect. Considering how Morioh-Cho has a population of 58,713 and since each person in Japan in the 90s would use around 8 Kilowatts of electricity per hour. Assuming it took 10 minutes to charge up all that energy it would RHCP to be absorbing with what is equivalent to 7.83 Tons of TNT!
Vince: There is the elephant in the room that Crazy Diamond was overpowered by RHCP. However the fact that Josuke didn't have a hole punched through him proves that is stand shouldn't be too far away in terms of power. Assuming that RHCP is around 5 times stronger which is a reasonable result we can cap Josuke at around 1.56 Tons of TNT. With that rage boost CD being Building level+ makes a lot more sense.
Frank: Now there is a misconception when scaling CD's attack speed. It's not exactly too common but we've heard it enough to where it should be addressed. While Josuke says that his stand punches at speeds of 300 Kmh or 83 m/s...he's kinda being a bit humble here as its shown feats way higher than that. Especially since Josuke said that he never measured it so it's very likely that he's way off with his assumption.
Jack: I mean especially since it was able to catch a bullet inches away from Josuke's face without too much effort [103]. There is also the fact that even when extremely injured Crazy Diamond easily dominated the big bad Killer Queen in hand to hand combat [104]. Now this is important because Killer Queen easily dominated Echoes Act 3 [105] which was able to create a sonic boom [106].
Vince: But wait there's more! There is the fact that Crazy Diamond and Josuke himself [107] were able to react to and deflect bullets from Bad Company bullets with ease. Now even though they look like toys these guns explicitly have the same power as the real weapons they are modelled after so the speed should be the same. We managed to calculate this at around 1994 m/s or Mach 5!
Frank: Remember RHCP? Well Crazy Diamond was also able to punch him a few times. Sure he's a little slower but the fact that that he has landed some hits on him proves that the gap in speed is not that large. RHCP is able to not only move through wires at the Speed of Light but also react quick enough to jump to out of them. Like we figured out that RHCP would have to react at around 17 nanoseconds. Since Crazy Diamond could actually tag RHCP we can assume that it can throw a punch in 17 nanoseconds. Or at least 15% the Speed of Light! Although full on Lightspeed is also pretty believable.
Jack: Now Josuke himself is pretty strong himself since he was able to send Koichi flying with his strike so hard that he smashed through a door [109]. He also managed to survive being sent flying backward at speeds of 70 kph or 19 m/s. It's pretty clear that Josuke actually slammed into the ground at that speed considering his injuries. Fun fact Josuke would've tanked around 14 Kilojoules [110] which is pretty cool.
Vince: I know from the way that we described Josuke he seems like a maniac who loses his temper at the drop of the hat and is willing to torture anyone who gets in his way...but that's not Josuke at all. He's a genuinely good kid who while having his selfish moments is a genuinely kind and caring person.
Frank: This is evident with the amount of his past enemies that now stand beside him. He's a reasonably forgiving person who is willing to give people second chances...which is why he didn't kill me thankfully...
Jack: It is this positive influence on the people around him that allowed for Yoshikage Kira to be found. Because he had so many people around him who could help in ways that he wouldn't be able to do on his own Kira's reign finally came to an end. With the shadow that hung over Morioh-Cho for 15 years finally dead...the town could finally heal and move forward to a brighter tomorrow.
Vince: While Josuke may look like the type of kid you'd want to avoid...he's the embodiment of the golden heart of humanity. The inherent ability we have to change the world around us by being kind to others. In a way instead of avoiding Josuke...he's someone that we could learn a thing or two from.

This track "A Star is Born" is named after the film of the same name. Not only does this reference the Joestar name but it also fits with the tie of music found throughout the entire series.
This song would be very high energy. With elements of jazz that is found in the opening of All Star Battle R. As the fight goes on and the brutality increases I want the music to match that. I want this to come to ahead when only two combatants are left alive. Feeling like a stand off found in a Western.
