Jaws vs Pokemon. Which brutal and monstrous shark will come out on top
Interlude[]
Wiz: Despite what multiple bad and junk filled Syfi movies may paint them as, Sharks are actually some of earths greatest and beautiful creatures to be swimming the ocean.
Boomstick: But these two probably don't help fill that belief. The vicious Shark and man killer of Amity Bay, Jaws.
Wiz: And the Bully of the sea, Sharpedo.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And today we'll look at their Armor, Stats, and Skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Jaws[]
Boomstick: It was the summer of 1975 and Amity Island was looking for the biggest number of people arriving at their shores for July 4th. This party was gonna help the small town greatly.
Wiz: And relying on such a large event to help them get by it was naturally that when news started spreading about a Shark attack that the Mayor wanted it covered up and ignored.
Boomstick: But it was hard to ignore when more and more people were picked off the shores, especially a kid right in front of their eyes. So with no other option, a three man army made of Martin Brody, Matt Hooper, and Quint were sent out to find and killer the Man eater.
Wiz: And after a week of nothing but ocean and a heavy loss, Brody and Hooper, mostly Brody managed to killer the Shark. But even when the shark was killed, it wasn't over. The Amity shore would witness multiple different shark attacks all from different Great White Sharks.
Boomstick: Whether that was Brody having to help defend his sons against another killer shark or his own kids going up against a 35 foot shark the Brody family was constantly haunted by sharks.
Wiz: Not even Brody himself dying from a heart attack because of the sharks was enough to stop them.

Boomstick: Through out the four movies non of the sharks are really too different and thus for this match we will be looking at all the sharks as one, except that big 35 foot long shark from the 3-D Movie.
Wiz: A natural Great White can easily reach speeds of 35 Miles Per Hour in quick short bursts and has a bite force of 18,216 Newtons of force or about 100 to 300 Joules.
Boomstick: A Great White can also lose multiple teeth and replace them almost instantly, they have teeth within their gums. These sharks also have the ability to somewhat camoflauge.
Wiz: From above a Great White Shark has a darker and grey top to blend into the deep ocean water below and from below their stomach is bright and light to seem like the top of the ocean.
Boomstick: But let's talk about the shit some of these movie sharks can do. the first Shark was capable of smashing through glass and was able to lunge out of the water and slam onto a boat and bring it sinking.
Wiz: It was capable of ramming into the boat that Brody, Hooper, and Quint were using, smashing through the wooden panels which could have taken more than 15 Kilojoules. This shark was so strong that it managed to kill an Orca.
Boomstick: The animals that are known for scaring Great Whites. But to be fair this is also the same shark that managed to drag the Orca boat which could easily weigh up to a generous 5,000 Pounds.
Wiz: The Great White managed to through around a Sperm Whale, an animal that could weigh 90,000 Pounds. These sharks have also fought and torn apart giant robots and dodging missiles point blank.
Boomstick: What the hell!!, when has this stuff ever happened!!, I've seen all those movies and I don't remember Bruce or any of his other shark followers doing shit like that.
Wiz: That's because with any popular movie franchise, there must come other forms of media like video games such as the 2011 Jaws: Ultimate Predator game for the Wii.
Boomstick: Now despite the movie sharks probably not being able to do any of that shit, it would make sense that the 35 foot mother shark from the third movie could. A Sperm Whale on average is around 37 Feet long and Mama Shark from the third movie is around 35 feet long. That shark could easily swing and tear apart a Sperm Whale.

Wiz: But no matter how hard any of the sharks tried the only Brody members they could bring down was Brody and Sean.
Boomstick: Whether it was a Gas bomb, Electrical cables, Bombs, or being stabbed in the gills and exploding all the sharks would eventually be defeated.
Sharpedo[]
Wiz: Welcome to the Pokemon world, filled to the brim with magical and beautiful creatures that can make for life long partners.
Boomstick: And whether your a plain old business man or some 13 year old kid going out to capture this worlds version on God. Doesn't matter what life choice you make, Pokemon are always beside you.
Wiz: Some Pokemon obviously made some great partners and friends, but this is a world with over a thousand different Pokemon so some of them weren't gonna be that great of a choice.
Boomstick: If you go to any large bodies of water like the ocean you'll find Sharpedo, called the Brutal Pokemon and for good reason. They have very short tempers hence where they get the name.

Wiz: Such as all Pokemon, Sharpedo has a good move set it can use during battle. Aqua Jet can have Sharpedo move so fast that the Pokedex says it makes it almost Invisible. Focus Energy allows Sharpedo to strike the opponents critical spot.
Boomstick: Leer will lower the opponents defense, Night Slash is an attack used when the opportunity arises and can easily critically hit the opponent, Ice and Poison Fang are moves where once Sharpedo bites down, the opponent suffers poisonous effects and Ice Fang has the chance of freezing the bit target.
Wiz: Finally Agility where Sharpedo can raise its speed and become much faster. Even without using Agility Sharpedo is already pretty fast with reaching speeds of 75 Miles Per Hour. It's fangs are also said to be able to rip through sheets of Iron. Not only that but Sharpedo's have three different abilities. Rough Skin makes it where any attack dealt to a Sharpedo is dealt right back to the opponent, Speed Boost increases its Speed, and Strong Jaw where Sharpedo can Mega Evolve increases its Teeth Power.
Boomstick: Sharpedo can tear through Supertankers which are those big ass ships with the smallest being 1,119 feet long and Sharpedo can rip through them without trouble.
Wiz: Considering the smallest Supertanker is usually 1,119 feet, and with most Supertankers weighing 318 thousand Metric Tons, a Sharpedo would have to exert about 11 Tons, to about 1 Kiloton.
Boomstick: And Sharpedo's have constantly been able to survive encounters and going head-to-head with one another.
Wiz: However vicious they are, Sharpedo are weak to Grass, Electric, Bug, Fairy, and Fighting Type Pokemon.
Boomstick: But despite so many weaknesses, Sharpedo are strong against Fire, Ground, Rock, Psychic, and Ghost Type Pokemon.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set and we've ran the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!!!
Pre-Fight[]
Sharpedo is known as the Bully of the Sea and is easily brutal and hostile so it doesn't take much. Chasing down a Seel for food, the Sharpedo expected it to be easy and it had quickly sped up to the Seel, but before it could snag it by the flipper another shark rose quickly from the deep and slammed its Jaws around the smaller pokemon.
Blood filled the water and the other shark slammed the Brutal Pokemon out of the way and feasted on the deceased pokemon. Having its food stolen and then shoved aside the Sharpedo became enraged and turned to the other shark.
Fight[]
Sharpedo charges forwards and slams against the Shark. Bruce is sent flying through the water as the Sharpedo swims towards it. The Great White recovers quickly by ducking from another attack and strikes below sending the Sharpedo breaking through the water's surface. Using Agility, the Sharpedo increases its speed and slams into the water, and crashes against the other shark. Dazing the Shark, Sharpedo bites down using Ice Fang but doesn't get off the freezing effect.
Taking its opportunity, Jaws bites down on the Sharpedo and violently begins shaking it back and forth before sending it flying through the water and ultimately crashing into a coral reef. Blood slowly fills the water around them drawing in other sea creatures, mainly other sharks.
A Group of Black Tip Reef Sharks and Blue Sharks slowly circle the two as Sharpedo bursts through the coral, and slams against the Sharks underbelly. Using the other shark's confusion and dizziness, Sharpedo swims below it and uses Aqua Jet to ram the shark.
Both sharks go flying through the circling field of other sharks and slam into the ocean floor. Sand is kicked up as the Jaws shark spins around and slams it mouth into the Sharpedo's fin. the bite causes Sharpedo's Rough Skin ability to kick in and hurts the shark causing it to back off and quickly begin swimming through the silt of sand.
Bruce the shark uses its fin and tail to bring up more silt and causes a huge cloud of sand decreasing the two sharks' visibility. Sharpedo swims around trying to find the shark, using its Agility to burst around quickly but it finds nothing, the shark seemed to have disappeared. Then a strike from above comes and pins the Sharpedo to the floor before it gets dragged across the sandy bottom. The Silt helps the Jaws shark by clouding the Sharpedo's vision and soon it's able to tear off a chunk of flesh from the Sharpedo's head.
Sharpedo roars from the pain with all the blood sweeping out into the ocean. More and more sharks swim around them waiting for the right moment to strike. Bruce swims before turning around determined to finish his opponent off, rushing towards the injured foe, and goes for a final bite to the head. Right when it goes for the finishing bite, the Sharpedo uses Aqua Jet and catches the shark off guard, and rips forward slamming into its upper jaw.
The speed and force of the Sharpedo's Aqua Jet shatter the shark's bottom jaw before completely ripping it off and shattering its upper skull. Sharpedo acts quickly by using Ice Fang and bites on its tail before rushing through the water at high speeds and slamming the injured shark into the ground. The high speed rips more flesh from the shark before Sharpedo lets go and the shark's tail freezes up easily keeping Bruce from swimming and moving.
With its means of movement gone, the Jaws can't get any oxygen through and slowly starts suffocating, however, Sharpedo uses Aqua Jet and rushes to the ocean's surface before spinning around and charging for a critical spot. The shark looks at it one last time before it slams into the trapped and wounded shark, the speed and impact acts like a small bomb to the shark and explode it. Pieces of Jaws are sent flying through the water where the groups of other sharks strike, tearing at the chunks of dead shark and eating.
Sharpedo snags the Jaws head and easily crushes it in between its mouth and eats it.
Conclusion[]
Boomstick: Damn who knew Pokemon could be so brutal, although I see how Sharpedo's got the name as Bully of the Sea.
Wiz: There really isn't anyway to sugar coat this so yeah the Jaws Shark really didn't have any good ways of matching with a Sharpedo. Now for the sake of Bruce the shark here, let's say that the sharks from the Jaws franchise can dodge Underwater missiles, that would put its speed at around 81 Miles Per Hour, that does put it slightly faster than a Sharpedo, and again for the sake let's do say Bruce and his other shark successors can swing around a Sperm Whale, which weights 90 Thousand Pounds.
Boomstick: Being generous that does mean Bruce is somewhat faster and is in the same ballpark of Strength to the Sharpedo, which would make them equal in Speed and Strength.
Wiz: But with us being nice for Jaws, The Sharpedo still had easy advantages and wins of the other Shark. First off even if the Jaws sharks could reach 81 Miles Per Hour, it still isn't that big of a gap compared to the Sharpedo and Sharpedo's have abilities like Agility to increase their speed to make them equal or faster.
Bomstick: Plus Great Whites can only really reach tops speeds in short bursts, something Sharpedo doesn't need to worry about. Plus the amount of abilities that a Sharpedo has was just to much for the Jaws shark. Ice and Poison Fang could help slow Bruce down, plus Ice freezing anywhere on Jaws body would either keep it slowed down or sink it to the ocean floor.
Wiz: Biting and hitting a Sharpedo would just be a double edged sword because of Rough Skin and Sharpedo could use Night Slash to find a critical spot on the shark. In the end even being generous and giving the Jaws 81 mph speed, and swinging around a Sperm Whale, none of that would still matter as the Sharpedo's vast amount of abilities would be enough to finish off the shark.
Boomstick: Bruce was gonna need a bigger Jaw
Wiz: Really..Okay well the Winner is Sharpedo
