Description[]
RWBY vs. Red VS Blue. They're considered the worst fighters on their teams, but they can more than hold their own.
Introduction[]
Wiz: There's nothing new to the idea that to stand out amongst the crowd, that you need to be pretty exceptional.
Boomstick: But you can always go the other way to stand out, and that's by being at the very bottom of the barrel, pecking order or whatever.
Wiz: Like Jaune Arc, the novice leader of Team JNPR
Boomstick: And Agent Washington, the worst agent of Project Freelancer. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Jaune Arc[]
Wiz: Throughout Remnant, there is no occupation more notably and highly-regarded than a Huntsman. Or Huntress for women.
Boomstick: Trained to harness weapons that are two-in-one hybrids and their own souls of a force field at any number of prestigious Huntsmen Academies, like the one-and-only Beacon.
Wiz: We've already covered quite a lot of Beacon's students, as per their popularity here. Yang Xia Long, Weiss Schnee and Pyrrha Nikos, one of the most famous up-and-comers.
Boomstick: Which is why you'd probably expect her to be the leader of a team there, but nope.
Wiz: Whilst an important remember of her team, the role of leader went to one Jaune Arc.
- Background
- Age: 19
- Height: 6'1
- Leader of Team JNPR/JNR
- Based of Joan van Arc
- AKA Vomit Boy
- Grew up with 7 sisters
Boomstick: Unlike most of the students at Beacon, exceptional probably wasn't the word you'd use for him, unless you count his family situation.
Wiz: You mean with his great-grandfather being a great warrior or him having to live with seven different sisters?
Boomstick: Eh, either one is pretty significant.
Wiz: Well, the one that certainly defined Jaune, unless you take Nora's observation into consideration, is the fact he is descended from legendary heroes from a time long passed.
Boomstick: With that kind of family history, no wonder young Jaune wanted to follow up in their footsteps.
Wiz: Just one problem...he never actually got the chance to be formally trained. Why, even though there are schools literally dedicated to training children to fight monsters? We have no idea. Point is, Jaune was in no position to get accepted into Beacon.
Boomstick: So he did what most teenagers did at that time; get an item of verification forged.
Wiz: Rather than a fake driver's license, Jaune obtained fake transcripts to get into Beacon. There, he would quickly find that there's a damn good reason why only trained candidates get in.
Boomstick: His first clue; the literal team building exercise involved him getting launched out into a forest full of those nasty bastard Grimm.
Wiz: Fortunately, Jaune ended up forming a team with our aforementioned Pyrrha and Nora, along with Lie Ren. Together, they were Team JNPR, with the theme of being based off characters who dressed as the opposite of their genders.
Boomstick: And as it turns out, Jaune actually did have the chops to be a leader.
Wiz: He is incredibly adept in assessing a situation and coordinating his allies based on their abilities and skills. With his guidance, massive Grimm have been taken down by only a handful of fighters.
Boomstick: So he has one skill that helps him fit in well at Beacon and an arsenal that does the same thing.
- Arsenal
- Crocea Mors
- Sword and shield
- Shield doubles as collapsible scabbard
- Sword and scabbard can combine
- Shield outfitted to include a hard-light barrier
- Magnetic pulls or pulses
- Armor
- Reinforced twice
- Shield Grenade
- Crocea Mors
Wiz: Whilst like most weapons in Beacon it serves as two things at once, a gun is not one of these possible modes.
Boomstick: Well kind of. Corcea Mors is actually two seperate items that make up a knight's classic arsenal; a sword and a shield. But when not using either, the shield can compact down into a scabbard.
Wiz: Whilst it weights the same as it would a shield, Jaune actually seems to have little trouble carrying it around. Whilst far from high-tech, at least initially, the sword is sharp and hard enough to completely slice through Grimm bodies.
Boomstick: And it wasn't only 'initially' non-high-tech, cause Jaune soon got some enhancements to this family heirloom.
Wiz: Firstly, by combining the sword and scabbard together, Jaune can increase the power of his swings.
Boomstick: Second, after getting to Atlas, it was the shield that got some new boons.
Wiz: Likely outfitted with the corresponding types of dust for the new abilities, the shield can now emit gravity-based pulls or bursts, and unfold to reveal hard-light shields for additional defense.
Boomstick: He can even use it as a glider. No more crashing uncontrollably for him anymore.
Wiz: Eh, he'd be fine, thanks to his Aura. Whilst its usage is nothing new to the world of Huntsmen, Jaune's reserves of Aura are noted to be much larger than most others.
- Aura
- Unusually massive reserves
- Manifests a full-body forcefield
- Heals minor wounds
- Semblance: Aura Amplification
- Enhances his and others Auras
Boomstick: A good thing too, because his inexperience means he gets hit a lot. Fortunately, Aura comes as both a means of completely covering yourself in a force-field and a way to heal minor wounds. Whilst Jaune hadn't yet unlocked his Aura before coming to Beacon, no surprise there, his teammate Pyrrha was able to unlock it for him using hers.
Wiz: In fact, Pyrrha helped to train Jaune to make up for his lack of previous experience. And eventually Jaune unlocked his Aura's unique ability.
Boomstick: It let's him amplify his own Aura, making it much stronger and resilient to attacks. But it works best in a group, letting him empower the Semblances of others or completely refill them.
Popup: The flare-up in his Aura when Cardin punched him was confirmed as Monty Oum as the first sign of Jaune's Semblance, which shows his Aura amplification can be used on his own Aura.
Wiz: Fitting with his role as leader of JNPR, one that he quickly grew to more than deserve.
- Feats
- Aura deflected a punch from Cardin
- Devised strategies to defeat giant Grimm
- Helped defeat the Nuckelavee
- Landed a hit on Cinder Fall
- Killed a Teryx in a single strike
- Battled Flynt Coal
Boomstick: He quickly improved his fighting ability under Pyrrha's tutelage and continued to do so even after...<sniff>...her death.
Wiz: Yeah, it was a tragedy. But even with the absence of his companion, Jaune continued to hone his abilities. Whilst still likely a few levels below his friends and allies, he's still capable of holding his own when the time comes.
Boomstick: The fact that he's capable of taking out Grimm by himself proves this.
Wiz: Exactly, and here's how. To defeat each Grimm, someone must be putting in their strength in order to do so, and likely aren't holding back. Since Jaune is capable of defeating the exact same kind of Grimm that most characters can as well, this should logically put him in the same ball park as them.
Boomstick: Potentially giving Jaune scaling to the likes of Yatsuhashi Daichi, who can strike with a force of 4 tons of TNT (TheRustyOne). Speaking of which, Jaune's massive reserves of Aura could mean it's comparable, if not outright superior, to that of others.
Wiz: Qrow Branwen, an obvious user of Aura himself, once took a Dust-enhanced blow from Hazel Reinhardt.
Boomstick: Hazel was able to one-shot Weiss' Queen Lancer summon with a similarly powered attack, which was able to withstand a blast worth 18 tons of TNT (Kepekley23).
Wiz: So if Jaune's Aura reserves really are superior to even the likes of Qrow's, then he is a fairly determined foe to face. But whilst his body can take lots of hits, it seems his mentality can't.
Boomstick: Long after Pyrrha's death, Jaune had little regard for his own life, often recklessly throwing himself into battle without caring if he comes out of it or not, or even if his Aura will see him through. And maybe it won't, because as you know, all Aura is finite. Fortunately, Jaune has been able to make peace with the loss of Pyrrha, dedicating himself to supporting his friends in ways that won't get himself killed and working harder than ever before to be a great hero like his forbearers.
Agent Washington[]
Wiz: The agents of Project Freelancer were, and still somewhat are, considered to be the best soldiers in the galaxy.
Boomstick: It was the Project's objective to make them even more badass, often through some very illegal means.
Wiz: By when your entire race is under threat from a familiar alien covenant, you'd want to do whatever it took to be number one in the fight for survival. But surprisingly, not everyone on the Project had this drive to be the best.
Boomstick: Enter Agent Washington, the so-called worst of the Freelancers.
- Background
- AKA Wash, David (Real name), Recovery One
- Height: Est. 5'6
- Occupation: Army Major
- Former Freelancer
- Victim of the Epsilon Incident
- Had a pet cat named Loki
Wiz: Even before becoming a part of Project Freelancer, Washington, or David as he is know for his real name, was a Corporal in the UNSC, bouncing around different locations during his tour of duty until his unit came under attack from hostile aliens.
Boomstick: Although he saved his team, he had to disobey orders to do so. When he got chewed out by his Sargent, he straight up attacked the guy.
Wiz: Freshly court martialed and with nowhere to go, David would accept an invitation to be a part of Project Freelancer under his new codename Washington.
Boomstick: In spite of the fact that the entire project was based around having the Agents compete with each other for a top spot on the leaderboard, literally turning their lives into a video game competition, Washington didn't really care about any of that. He was just happy to have a bunch of friends and companions. Until they weren't, but hey, the leaderboard calls.
Wiz: Like the rest of the Freelancers, the plan was to have Washington paired up with an AI to help him run special equipment and make him all the more effective in the field. But when Wash was outfitted with his AI, Epsilon, he discovered the dark secret of Project Freelancer.
Boomstick: That they were Freelance?
Wiz: What, no. That the Project didn't have multiple AIs to go around. Rather, they had to torture one so that they could harness the pieces of it when it broke. The attempted implanting of the Memory Fragment, Eplison, caused Washington to undergo a mental breakdown, and soon after the Project crumbled.
Boomstick: Now with a burning hatred for AI, Washington was assigned to become Recovery One, tasked with hunting down AI and Armor Enhancements to prevent them causing any more harm. This is where he got to continue using his skills from his time as a Freelancer.
Wiz: Washington is pretty adept in hand-to-hand combat, knows a degree of how to lock-pick and most significantly is a skilled marksman with just about any kind of gun.
Boomstick: Aside from one that bounces. That is the worst gun ever. Of all time. Washington's more preferred variation is a standard Battle Rifle.
- Arsenal
- Battle Rifle
- Magnum Pistol
- Knife
- EMP
- Magnetic boots
- Healing unit
- Armor
- Designed to deflect bullets and withstand explosions
- Recycles oxygen
Wiz: Whilst a common weapon for any soldier to wield, Washington's skills with it make it a truly formidable weapon.
Boomstick: He has such good aim, he can tag the pilot of a flight craft whilst falling through the air. Eat your heart out Hawkeye.
Wiz: This skill of his also extends to his Magnum, yet another common weapon that Washington can handle like a savant.
Boomstick: And when he wants to get up close, he pulls out his trusty knife. And if he wants to stay at a distance, he tosses his trusty knife.
Wiz: Usual weaponry aside, Washington has also has himself a pair of magnetic boots to let him walk up metal surfaces, a healing unit taken from his fallen comrade York and has even demonstrated the usage of an EMP generator.
Boomstick: Don't you mean a...
Wiz: Don't you start with that pronunciation crap. A single usage of this is able to disable any electronic device or vehicle, and as a benefit, it doesn't need an AI to run. Good thing too, otherwise they would most likely end up destroyed.
Boomstick: But Washington wouldn't care about that. After all, the Epsilon Incident left him with a deep seated grudge against them, and he has thus refused to ever use them. Too bad as well, because if he had one to help power his equipment, he could have a portable heater in that armor with him. Oh, and by the way, that armor Washington wears is designed to resist explosions and impacts, and can even recycle oxygen.
- Feats
- Reached Freelancer Rank 5
- Survived an explosion from ten mines
- Destroyed the Meta's AI collection
- Tagged Agent Texas
- Outsmarted Chrovos
- Defeated South Dakota, the Meta, Sharkface
Wiz: Even whilst being known as the worst Freelancer, Washington was able to secure a place on the high-end of the leaderboard, often maintaining a rank of number 6.
Boomstick: Wait, it was that high? So let me get this straight; each Freelancer is named after a USA state, of which there are about 50? And if Washington is considered the worst of them all, why isn't he ranked at 50?
Wiz: Well, my guess is that his moniker of 'worst of all the Freelancers' is a bit of a hyperbole. I think it's more accurate to say that he's the worst Freelancer out of the top Freelancers on the leaderboard, of which include the juggernaut Maine, the leader Carolina and the literal Mary Sue Texas. In other words, he's the worst of the best of the best. And taking into consideration his track record of surviving some pretty intense situations, it's no wonder he was ranked at highly as he was.
Boomstick: He's survived some pretty intense stuff, like getting hit by a speeding car that could smash through a solid concrete wall and getting caught in an explosion of mines.
Wiz: These mines are similar to the ones used by Agent Texas to blow apart a wall of ice, which would need at least 25 tons of TNT to achieve (Poisesis Element). And even then, it's possible that Washington can take even more punishment than that.
Boomstick: Like scaling him to a guy who was inside of a skyscraper when it came collapsing down. That's over 200,000 tons of concrete and steel raining down on him.
Wiz: Washington certainly has the achievements of a Freelancer, but he also has the failings of one. In other words, constant betrayal from those he perceived his allies turned him into a cold and bitter man and he didn't escape every situation completely unscathed. Like when he got shot in the throat.
Boomstick: But both times he was able to get the support he needed from his new allies, the Reds and Blues, in order to bounce back. Just like his cat Loki.
Wiz: No matter what slows him down, Agent Washington will always get back up to fight for what's right.
Interlude[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
The Battle[]
Setting: Train tunnel settlement
Washington stood over a box filled with dust crystals, turning one over in his hand.
Washington: Interesting.
His intercom beeped and a voice came in.
Command: Recovery One, have you found the target.
Washington: Affirmative, but it doesn't seem to be Freelancer equipment.
Command: No matter, they could be dangerous. Eliminate the entire site.
Washington: Roger. I'll just...
Yelling suddenly drew the Freelancer's attention and he turned around to see Jaune Arc gliding through the air into the tunnel with his extended shield, stumbling a bit as he landed. As soon as he had regained his balance, he stared down at Washington.
Jaune: Don't you know that this place is restricted?
Washington: Yeah, I got that impression when I had to fight my way in here.
Jaune: And now you're going to have to fight me to get out.
Washington: Ugh...fine then...
FIGHT!
The instant he finished talking, Washington pulled his battle rifle from his back and fired it at Jaune, who quickly raised his shield to guard against the barrage. The constant strikes were stronger than he had expected and Jaune took a step back as a result but nevertheless steeled himself and charged forward, quickly covering the gap between him and Washington. As soon as he had gotten close enough, Jaune slammed the flat of his shield against the barrel of Washington's rifle, knocking the Agent back slightly. When Washington recovered, he attempted to raise his rifle back up to continue firing only for Jaune to swing his shield out to knock it aside, before he reached out to grab the hilt of the sword slotted into the shield. Washington noticed what he was doing and he dodged back in accordance to Jaune whipping out the sword, narrowly avoiding the attack. After dodging, Washington was able to aim his rifle and continuing firing, only for Jaune to duck back behind his shield against, the bullets ricocheting off the defense into the surroundings. Jaune kept the shield up until the second where he slashed out with his sword once to force Washington to dodge again, before following up with a further series of slashes. The latest slash he performed was blocked by Washington by using the body of his rifle, which allowed the Freelancer to wrench the sword to the side before slamming the butt of his rifle into Jaune's chest. As the Huntsman stumbled back from the strike, he was able to lash out with his sword to catch Washington in the shoulder, making him spin around at the impact. The two of them recovered from the attacks landed on them, with Washington spinning around to get into a kneeling position to unleash another quick barrage of bullets at Jaune, which he once again blocked with his shield.
Jaune kept his guard up until the barrage finally stopped, signaling to him that the rifle had run out of ammunition.
Jaune: Gotcha!
He moved the shield aside in preparation to swing out his sword, but before he could;
Washington: Sike.
He pulled the trigger again, revealing that he had in fact not run out of ammo, only having ceased firing to make Jaune literally lower his guard. Now the bullets slammed directly into Jaune's chest, making him cry out in surprise and pain as the stream of bullets sent him spinning backwards to land on his back. Washington ceased firing and turned away to leave, reloading as he did before sensing a presence behind him. Quickly, he turned around, just in time to see Jaune coming at him with another sword slash, acting quickly to block the swing with his gun. Through their lock, Washington saw the bullets falling off Jaune's breastplate, the air around him shimmering slightly.
Washington: Wait, you have a force field? Why do you need a force field if you already have a shield and armor?
Jaune: You know what they say; every little helps!
With a burst of strength, Jaune pushed aside Washington's rifle before unleashing a series of strikes that clashed against Washington's armor all over, forcing the Freelancer to stumble backwards as he made sure to guard his head from the attacks. Washington attempted to bring his rifle around to try and fire it off at Jaune, but the Huntsman lifted up his other arm so that the gun connected with the collapsed sheath form of his shield; a quick command and the transition from a sheath to a shield ended up tearing the rifle from Washington's grip, sending it flying away. At his opponent's shock at being so unorthodoxly disarmed, Jaune lifted his leg up and kicked him square in the chest. Although this action pushed him back as much as it did Washington, Jaune regained his balance much quicker to jump forward and swing the sword down into Washington's shoulder, forcing the already off-balance Freelancer onto one knee.
In spite of the injury inflicted on him, Washington still lifted his head back up to look at Jaune through his visor, the youth only having time to recognize the intensity radiating from the armored man before Washington brought up an arm to knock the sword out from where it was lodged against his shoulder before rolling forwards to add momentum to the kick he drove into Jaune's chest. Jaune stumbled backwards whilst Washington got the right side up after his roll, from which he launched himself upwards to drive his knee into a strike that once again connected with his foe's armored chest and upon landing delivering a quick series of punches into his face, finishing his melee by sweeping out his leg to knock one of Jaune's feet from beneath him before delivering a powerful punch into his face that sent him skidding on his back across the ground.
Jaune got back to his feet, wobbling slightly before Washington dived towards his rifle, scooping it up before yet again unleashing a stream of bullets at Jaune. This time however, when he raised his shield, it glowered slightly purple as the gravity dust was activated which ended up causing the bullets to recoil off the front, the minority going back into Washington's direction, nailing him in the arm and side. The Freelancer yelled out in pain before his rifle was suddenly wrenched from his grasp when Jaune activated the opposite effect on his gravity dust, pulling the gun towards him to stick on the shield's surface.
Washington: Hey!
Jaune: Don't worry; you can have it back!
He activated the recoil of his gravity dust and the firearm was suddenly launched towards Washington with enough force so that when it connected with his chest, he was launched backwards off his feet. Still, the Freelancer grabbed a hold of his weapon and righted himself in the air so that his magnetized boots slammed against the metal backend of a train carriage, rendering him standing on the vertical drop. Jaune was so surprised he wasn't able to act in time before Washington fired his rifle into the slightly exposed inside of his shield, causing it to be pushed out of Jaune's grasp. Washington deactivated his boots to land back on solid earth, continuing to fire shots that hit Jaune all over his body, only for his Aura to soak up the damage until the rifle clicked empty. Washington growled in annoyance, slinging the empty gun across his back and drawing his knife. He charged at Jaune, swinging out his knife which Jaune blocked, sending out sparks from the two blades colliding. Jaune attacked with several strikes of his own but in spite of Washington's smaller weapon, he was able to expertly deflect the attacks, even running his knife up the length of Jaune's sword so that he could then lash it out to cut his foe across the Aura-protected face. The Freelancer then reversed the hold on his knife to block the attack to his side that Jaune countered with but this was a part of the Huntsman's strategy so that he could serve about to stand directly behind Washington and get him in a hold with his sword's blade directly across his throat. The Freelancer was able to stop the blade from directly touching his throat by lodging his knife against it just before the grapple was completed and with a burst of strength flipped Jaune over him so he landed on his back, giving him a full view of Washington bringing the knife down towards his face. On instinct, Jaune covered his face with his open hand and the moment the knife's point touched his palm, his Semblance flared and the blade shattered to pieces, along with Washington being thrown backwards with a yell of surprise.
He crashed against the crates of loose dust crystals, one of which rolled towards Jaune as he got back to his feet, snatching up his shield in the process. He looked down at the dust crystal by his feet then Washington surrounded by the numerous others, an idea in his mind. With a swing of his sword, Jaune sent the dust crystal spinning through the air towards Washington, before tossing out his shield grenade to expand into its hard light barrier. Washington, who was now back on his feet, saw Jaune's actions before looking up to see the crystal falling towards him. When it landed on the other exposed crystals, the energy within sparked and exploded in a massive blast, catching Washington in the back and sending him flying forwards towards the trapping barrier of hard light.
Jaune: Yes!
Washington, however, was able to activate his EMP before colliding with the barrier, deactivating it and leaving him free to continue shooting towards Jaune.
Jaune: ...oh.
Jaune quickly lifted his shield to expand it into it's wider mode but the EMP washed over it, causing it to unwillingly collapse back into its compact form, leaving Jaune with no protection when the Freelancer collided with him, sending them both flying out of the tunnel and into the frozen tundra. They landed and tumbled through the snow before coming to a stop, both a small distance from each other. Jaune staggered back to his feet, his Aura on the verge of breaking due to the impact, whilst Washington's armor showed several gashes as he stood back up.
Washington: Come on healing unit don't fail me now...
Once Jaune was back on his feet, he slid his sword down into the scabbard and to his relief found they could still combine together. With a yell, he charged forwards, prompting Washington to pull his rifle from his back, quickly reload and unleash a volley that directly connected to Jaune, breaking the last of his Aura but not before he closed the distance and slashed out with his reinforced blade, cutting Washington's rifle in half with a single stroke. Washington exclaimed in anger before taking three cuts across his chest. The Freelancer braced against the attacks and pulled out his Magnum. Jaune's eyes widened and he shot out a hand to grab the according wrist, stopping the gun before it could be aimed at him, though a stray shot still went off into the ground. In accordance, Washington grabbed the wrist of Jaune's sword-bearing hand.
Jaune: I may not be the best at most things but I'll at least win this!
Washington: Boy do I know that feeling buddy. But only one of us walks away from this.
Angling his gun best he could, Washington fired a single bullet that struck Jaune's sword, sending it spinning up into the air. As it fell back down, Washington pulled himself backwards to flip Jaune over him. As Jaune scrambled back around, Washington shot up into a crouch, grabbed the sword as it fell back down and stabbed out behind himself without even turning around, running Jaune through with his own weapon. Jaune coughed out blood as he looked down in horror as his impalement before Washington aimed his Mangum and fired a shot through Jaune's forehead, throwing the Huntsman backwards onto the snowy ground, blood leaking from the two fatal wounds.
Washington: Whew...son of a bitch.
KO!
Outcome[]
Boomstick: Vomit Boy-I mean Jaune! No!
Wiz: Dry your eyes Boomstick, we have a job to do. Now, it is true that whilst Jaune operates best in a group, it doesn't mean to say that he couldn't handle himself in a one-on-one fight and could more than likely make use of his skillful thinking.
Boomstick: But Washington is also a quick thinker, like how he could bait and counter Locus during their battle with some on-the-fly strategies. More importantly, Wash had way more training beneath his belt.
Wiz: Whilst getting lessons in swordsmanship from the Champion of Mistral was nothing to sneeze at, it doesn't really compare to being drilled as part of Project Freelancer, let alone official military training.
Boomstick: Looking at their overall arsenals, we also saw that Wash had several legs-up over Jaune.
Wiz: His EMP could be used to disable the higher-tech upgrades of Jaune's shield and shield grenade, his guns would let him attack from a distance and his healing unit would help him heal any injury he sustained.
Boomstick: And that's only if Jaune could land any meaningful damage at all.
Wiz: Exactly, and this brings us to what is probably the most important factor of this fight; which one of the two could take the biggest hits. When comparing the feat of Washington surviving the mines compared to who Jaune could logically be tougher than, the Freelancer could take an addition 7 tons of TNT over Jaune, at the very least. But there is actually a bit more to this, like from where exactly their durability comes from; Jaune's Aura and Washington's armor respectively.
Popup: As Jaune's best strength output theoretical comes out to 4 tons of TNT, he lacked the means to deal meaningful damage to the tougher Washington.
Boomstick: Whilst Jaune does have a lot of Aura, it's still a finite amount at the end of the day. By contrast, Washington is always wearing that armor of his, which was specifically designed to withstand explosions. Hell, he doesn't even need to take it off to eat. Comparing it to Jaune's limited reverses, they would most naturally be the defensive line that fell first. Even with the kid's likely superior speed, there wasn't much he could do to overwhelm Wash's durability.
Popup: Although Jaune can increase the toughness of his Aura with his Semblance, its usage would still require a small amount of Aura to be used up, so it wouldn't be a surefire means of keeping his Aura amped and active.
Wiz: In spite of their shortcomings back in their home series, Jaune and Washington proved themselves as admirable individuals, but it was the latter who had the toughness, arsenal and training to remain the worst of the best.
Boomstick: Jaune just got Washed away under a Ton of setbacks.
Wiz: The winner is Agent Washington.

Trivia[]
- Connections: Both are main characters from two Rooster Teeth productions who are viewed as often being the weakest/least skilled fighters on their teams, but are still capable of being effective especially with their leadership skills. Both also wear armor, have blonde hair and are associated with the color yellow (Jaune's name translates to yellow and Washington has yellow patterns on his armor). Furthermore, both have close relationships with high-skilled characters who are voiced by the same person, and have survived dangerous situations.
- Animation Style: 3D.
- OST Idea: 'Agency Arc', referring to both their names.
