Death Battle Fanon Wiki

Did you know a young boy drowned the year before those two others were killed? The counselors weren't paying any attention... They were making love while that young boy drowned. His name was Jason.
~ Mrs. Voorhees on Jason's death

Ki Ki Ki, Ma Ma Ma
~ The most iconic sound effect in the Friday the 13th series, meant to resemble Jason's voice saying "kill kill kill, mom mom mom" in Mrs. Voorhees' mind

There's a legend around here. A killer buried, but not dead. A curse on Crystal Lake, a death curse. Jason Voorhees' curse. They say he died as a boy, but he keeps coming back. Few have seen him and lived. Some have even tried to stop him... No one can. People forget he's down there, waiting...
~ Opening narration of Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

Last but certainly not least is the main threat to safe camping; the Maven of Mayhem, the Sultan of Slash, the ghoul that everyone loves to hate, JASON!!! He'll attack out of nowhere, and disappear just as quickly.
~ Instruction Manual for the NES game

Yeah, cause he's back
He's the man behind the mask
And he's out of control
He's back
The man behind the mask
And he's after your soul!
~ Lyrics from Alice Cooper's tribute song "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)"

Death and revenge make up the very core of Jason Voorhees' being. He died as a young boy. His mother killed out of grief and rage. When she was murdered, Jason returned and avenged her. Many times since, the living have tried to send him back to the realm of the dead. He's been stabbed, drowned, electrocuted, hurled into space. But Jason cannot be killed. Cannot be stopped.
~ Mortal Kombat X description.

Jason Voorhees, or whatever he's become, is eternal. Unbeatable.
~ Michelle on Jason Voorhees, now Über-Jason, Jason X Special

Of course he was still coming. Jason always did. It was the nature of the beast to keep coming. Relentless. Unstoppable. Unbreakable. A man of metal.
~ A description of Über-Jason, Chapter 13 of Jason X: Death Moon

He was anti-life: murder and destruction now.
~ A description on Über-Jason and what he embodied, Jason X: The Experiment (Pages 104-105)

Born in the 1940s as a physically and mentally disabled boy, Jason Voorhees was put into Camp Crystal Lake by his loving mother when he was 11. However, a pack of rude camper kids bullied and insulted Jason for his deformity, pushing him into the lake, since Jason couldn't swim, he ended up drowning as the camp counsellors who were supposed to watch him were making love instead, breaking his mother's heart and mind. She then slaughtered all of the counsellors before being decapitated by the last surviving one, somehow giving Jason the strength to resurrect himself, don an iconic hockey mask, and spend the rest of his days killing all who steps a foot on the camp's ground.
