Jace Herondale is the best Shadowhunter of his era, trained since childhood in the ways of combat he is extremely powerful. He helped stop both Valentine's shadowhunter revolution and Sebastian's Endarkened Shadowhunter army and is currently the head of the New York Shadowhunter Institute.
