Description[]
Infinity Ultron vs Novel Kars. As if regular MCU Ultron and Kars weren't an ass to deal with in their respective universes, these 2 incarnations of them take the difficulty to kill them from stupidly annoying to Dark Souls difficult. But which of these 2 would prove the most broken?
Intro[]
Wiz: Infinity Ultron. A robot with the Infinity Stones heldbent on multiversal peace.
Boomstick: And Novel Kars. The Pillar Man Ultimate Lifeform with BS power.
Wiz: Every character tends to have various incarnations of each other. Some of them may be weaker than their main series counterparts and other makes them much stronger.
Boomstick: But for these 2 they are definitely much stronger, but to an absolutely monstrous degree. But today we will find which of these 2 is the most broken. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And its our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Infinity Ultron[]
Wiz: We are all aware that within Marvel there are an infinite amount of universes within the Multiverse where anything is possible. This would even go as far to the reality of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where even the multiverse asks us... What If?
Boomstick: You can ask all sorts of things in the MCU multiverse. You can ask things like, What If Thor was a massive partier with an insatiable lust for Las Vegas, or What If Tony Stark never became Iron Man or What If Zombies had taken over the earth?
Wiz: While some of these variants have experienced a different life style from the main MCU universe, but not all of those universes ended up being so great. For a second I want you to think. What If... Ultron won?
Boomstick: We all know the story of Age of Ultron by now. He tried to get a new body for himself in the name of Vision but the Avengers took it before he could accomplish his mind transfer. But in another universe, the Avengers failed to do so and Ultron's plan was fulfilled. After that he killed all of the Avengers minus Hawkeye and Black Widow and after completing his mission of humanity's eradication, he decided to take his mission throughout the cosmos.
Wiz: Ultron has a massive assortment of weapons and powers capable of doing mostly that. Like his standard MCU version, his body is made out of Vibranium. While not as strong as the typical comic Vibranium, it is still very durable. In fact Captain America's shield is composed of just that and he used it to block a strike from Thor.
Boomstick: You know, the dude who was powerful enough to level Sokovia. And what is Ultron without a massive army of himself? But even with these "toys" he is still incapable of doing his galactic extermination on his own.
Wiz: But luck would smile upon him and sh*t on the rest of the universe when he was visited by Thanos, who just so happened to have the rest of the Infinity Stones in his trusty glove.
Boomstick: After making Thanos perfectly balanced, he decided to take the Infinity Stones for himself. And it turns out, the Universe was in a crap ton more danger than when Thanos had them.
Wiz: A bit of history, before creation was a thing, there were 6 overall singularities that makes up everything. When the universe was created, those 6 energies took form in the shape of concentrated ingots. Infinity Stones.
Boomstick: Don't let their appearance fool you. These things are in a league of their own. The first stone is the one he obtained first and was the stone that helped create him, the Mind Stone. With it, he can shoot a classic beam from his head capable of melting the Infinity Gauntlet and also granted him the ability to control people like puppets, like when another Universe's Vision used it to halt a platoon of zombies.
Wiz: With the Space Stone he gains unlimited access of all things space. Allowing him to teleport practically anywhere he chooses including other dimensions as well as manipulating gravity allowing him to phase himself or others through others. With the Reality Stone he can alternate reality, obviously. Perfect for creating illusions and transmutation. He can even use it to repair shattered limbs and change the very molecules of a person and or object into whatever the hell he desires.
Boomstick: Perfect for when you want to create unlimited beer out of thin air. With the Time Stone he gains unlimited access to time. He can accelerate, slow down, stop time and can even put him and his opponents in an endless time loop. Perfect for bargaining. And it can even be used to ignore other time haxes his opponents can use like when an alternate Doctor Strange used his Time Stone to ignore Ultron's Time Stone.
Wiz: With the Soul Stone he can manipulate life and the dead and can even use it to target one's soul directly. In fact it was this stone itself that help Thanos snap away half of the universe. And with the Power Stone it grants the user incredible power, enhanced endurance and can manipulate multiple forms of energy.
Popup: While Ultron haven't showcase a lot of these powers that other wielders have used, he should still be able to perform them and has even performed abilities that they haven't showcased.
Boomstick: With powers like these, it was only a matter of time that he ended all life in the universe and accomplished his goal once again. But alas things ended up from going from terrible to even more terrible because his powers grew too strong and granted him cosmic awareness so great he became aware of other universes and the discovery of the Watcher.
Wiz: It was there he had a giant showdown with the Watcher. Their resulting battle had flung them across the multiverse itself just from the byproduct of their power, with Ultron having won in the end. Forcing the Watcher to break his own rule and had to traverse the multiverse for the best fighters to combat Ultron, and considering what Ultron has done it makes perfect sense.
Popup: With the Infinity Stones Ultron should be capable of scaling to other wielders of the stones like when a Celestial used the Power Stone to eradicate an entire planet or when Thanos used the Space Stone to pull meteorites from a nearby moon.
Boomstick: He's powerful enough to kill every single heavy hitter in his universe like Odin, Ego and even Captain Marvel. He's powerful enough to level entire planets and even make shockwaves that can also level planets thousands of miles away. And at one point he made an explosion that encompassed an entire galaxy.
Wiz: By using the diameter of our own galaxy, we can estimate that the explosion had to have been moving over 416 Billion times faster than light. And Ultron has been quick enough to keep up with those who can not only react to it, but counter it entirely.
Boomstick: But if he isn't wanting to blow up galaxies he can always grow in size and freaking take whole ass bites out of them. Hell galaxy power likely isn't even his limits since Thanos himself claimed to be capable of shredding down the very universe down to it's very last atom and Ultron could likely do the same if he damn well wishes too. He's been in the epicenter of a planet explosion and had enough power to combat Doctor Strange Supreme, who could slow the destruction of his home universe and he was the one who, get this, ate his galaxy explosion.
Popup: While sort of dubious, if Ultron's statement of killing every single being in his universe were to include the Celestials, he could have more justification for having universal firepower as the Celestial Arishem was the one responsible for causing the Big Bang.
Wiz: Now it may seem that Infinity Ultron is absolutely ridiculous but even he has faults. Whereas his comic book counterpart cannot be easily reprogrammed, this Ultron is a lot more impervious to being hacked. Which is what ultimately lead to his downfall at the hands of the Arnim Zola algorithm.
Boomstick: Also he can get a bit over his head and the stones can be removed without him noticing. So I guess even gods has their limits. But hey if you're a guy who can kill every single gods in your universe, limits like those don't really matter much do they?
Wiz: So let this be a warning to anyone who's dumb enough to take this guy on without such a plan... may god have mercy on your soul and wish that your universe is dumb enough to avoid Ultron's radar.
Infinity Ultron: So many universes. So much chaos. They need to be silenced.
Watcher: You don't need to do this.
Infinity Ultron: Oh, but it's my purpose.
Novel Kars[]
Wiz: The Pillar Man Kars. This man's one goal was to obtain the title, Ultimate Lifeform and he would eventually get his wish.
Boomstick: We should know the story of Battle Tendency by now but for those who don't, let's just say he got what he wanted but he didn't get to bathe in it's glory long enough as he was sent into space by the wonderful Joseph Joestar. Unable to die he was destined to wander in space for all eternity.
Wiz: But that's only the main canon JoJo universe, for in the realm of Jorge Joestar, Kars manage to escape his eternal life sentence by hitching a ride with a space shuttle sent to Mars. There he would remain there for so long, the universe would die and restart itself 36 times.
Boomstick: Jesus that's long. You have to wonder what he does with all the time of the universe. I mean, there are no girl's legs he could play guitar with.
Wiz: To be fair each universe reset had sent their Kars onto mars so he wasn't always alone, as every time the universe reseted, all the preceding universes would have a Joseph to launch a Kars into space. Because of this, Kars hitched a plan.
Boomstick: After having the other Kars's turning themselves into parts for a ship, he finally made it back to earth. There is only one difference, he gained so broken new abilities.
Wiz: Before going into any of his new powers let's address what he already had. Much like other Pillar Men, his body is much tougher than those of a human and even more so than a Vampire. Not only is it tough, but also very malleable. Able to stretch, bend, extend, retract, and fold however he likes, as well as the ability to absorb people purely on contact. He also has the ability to summon blades from anywhere from his body.
Boomstick: And since he was The Ultimate Lifeform he gained access to new powers, like the ability to create life out of his very body and even produce Hamon, a breathing energy that was specifically designed to kill Pillar Men. He also has an ability called "Light Mode", a pseudo super form that allows him to literally turn himself light, allowing him to teleport, throw cuts that goes through solid objects and he later learned to shoot energy beams with them.
Popup: Much like his mainline counterpart his Hamon has been compared to that of the sun and power the Red Stone of Aja to the point to make a volcano erupt.
Wiz: But all that power is mere preposterous to the might of what he eventually became.
Boomstick: ...Yeah turns out that being stranded for Quadrillions of years as the Ultimate Life form, you learn a thing or two. Probably to the point where he gain a massive understanding of... everything actually. Hell he basically learned about the concept of stands when exposed to one for a few seconds.
Wiz: And that is perhaps one of his most deadly ability, his conceptual understanding. If Kars were to ever face a concept that he hasn't seen before, he will be able to know its abilities and know its full potential within a matter of seconds. It was likely this ability that made Kars do something rather inexplainable.
Boomstick: To make a long story short he can steal Stands and or copy them for himself, and if things weren't bad enough he can utilize their power way greater than what they were normally capable of and given them an Ultimate in their names. You know. Ultimate Life Form?
Popup: Similar to Stands in the main canon, they should be unable to be physically harmed and seen by any non Stand user.
Wiz: He has amassed a total of 8 Stands in his arsenal, each with its own unique ability. With Whitesnake Ultimate he gains access to illusion casting. With Das Boots Ultimate he can shoot a plethora of missiles and can even shrink themselves down to attack very specific body organs. And with Dune Ultimate he can manipulate an entire planet's worth of sand in any way he sees fit, even capable of turning himself into sand.
Boomstick: With Killer Queen he can turn anything he touches into a bomb and make them self destruct and can even make him time travel an hour with Bites the Dust. And before anyone asks why this stand doesn't have the Ultimate title well it's because he straight up talked Killer Queen out of being Kira's stand. Try to make sense out of that. With D4C Ultimate he can take him or even his opponents into parallel dimensions, but with a twist. If his opponents were to interact with their parallel universe selves, they will merge together and kill themselves. And with C Moon Ultimate he can alternate gravity within a 3 Kilometer radius, allowing him to levitate and can force the gravity on a person to increase causing them to turn inside out.
Wiz: Now onto his strongest stands. After an encounter with the Vampire Dio, Kars had been able to copy his stand, The World.
Boomstick: Za Warudo!!! With it he can stop time entirely, but unlike canon The World who could stop time for 11 seconds, this The World can stop time for over an hour and even grants him the ability to move in stopped time as well. And lastly his final stand Made in Heaven Ultimate Requiem, god damn how much branding does his stands need?
Wiz: A lot apparently but with Made in Heaven Ultimate Requiem he can accelerate time to the extreme.
Boomstick: What does he mean by extreme you ask? Well extreme enough to accelerate time to infinity and forcibly causing the reset of the entire universe. Is that extreme enough for you?
Wiz: With these powers you think he would use this to continue his plan to take over the world, but in actuality his time on Mars had given him a new view on humanity and swore to protect them, all while a vampire obtained the powers of The Ultimate Life form to end humanity, Dio Brando.
Boomstick: God damn Dio, we can never escape from him no matter what alternate universe we're in. In order to stop Dio, Kars must have the physical feats to keep up, and boy does he.
Wiz: Kars is tough enough to survive his spacecraft crashing on earth with enough force to flip Britain in it's entirety, his regeneration grew to the point where he can regenerate from a bloody puddle, and at one point even toed a moon 5 kilometers in diameter while running at a third the speed of sound.
Boomstick: But that's likely not his limit in speed. If the stands he has were to be capable of most of what the original stands are capable of, then his speed should be similar if not greater. Like when the stand Silver Chariot cut a literal beam of light in half, which would have required him to move over 1500 times faster than light.
Wiz: And of course being the "real" Ultimate Lifeform means he should be comparable to Dio who had also obtained The Ultimate Lifeform status. Like when Dio had his stand removed and destroyed yet was still alive and was unaffected by his son's Giorno's GER, which has the ability to reset not only one's action but even their willpower.
Popup: According to the JoJo a GoGo guidebook, GER stats are stated as none as his powers can't be compared to anyone in his series. However Dio's ability to tag him may just be the result of him ignoring his Return to Zero status and GER not doing anything to counter.
Boomstick: And at the end of the day with the help of a few time travel shenanigans he was finally able to defeat Dio and saved the universe, all thanks to the aid of a new Joestar in the name of Joji. Ok that has to be the lamest JoJo name in the history of the franchise.
Wiz: That's not to say Kars is indestructible. Ever since he became a stand user he now comes with the weakness of being one.
Boomstick: Yeah like any damage done to his stands will be transferred to him, and vice versa. Plus he needs to at least see or at the very least experience the event of ones powers take place in order to understand it, so it is possible for him to get blitzed and killed before he can fully understand. Though his wicked healing factor does make it very hard to pull off.
Wiz: Weaknesses aside there is very little in his universe that can actually give him a good challenge. And he will remain as so, protecting Earth as he does it.
Kars: I don't care what method I have to use, victory justifies any means!
DEATH BATTLE[]
We star off in a city. Everything is going well. People are talking, cars are honking. You know just your average city life. But what isn't normal in the life in a city is a huge portal opening atop the place. From that portal flew in Infinity Ultron with a legion of bots at his side awaiting command. Ultron took just one look around and what he sees hurts hims... emotionally that is.
Ultron: Dear god, this universe is in so much pain... it needs to be silenced immediately.
With a wave of his hand he annihilated the entire city along with the entire surface of the earth. He then tries to proceed back to his portal but he sense that something is approaching him... menacingly. He takes a moment to look around and before him stands a man, or so he thought at first.
Kars: To what business do you have with this planet?
Ultron flew down and engaged in conversation.
Ultron: This universe, and all other universes, they are destroying themselves with countless chaos. I am their savior.
Kars: Through Genocide?
Ultron: How is humanity or all other life for that matter gonna evolve if they continue to kill themselves?
Kars: While I don't necessarily disagree with you robot, I don't agree on extinction as the solution.
Ultron: If only you understand.
With a glow from his chest Ultron fired a beam that blew away half of Kars's body. But this didn't kill him and Kars quickly regenerated. After reforming his body, he took a look at the stones and immediately understood what they are.
Kars: Those stones. Each of them grants 1 aspect of existence. Too dangerous for you or anyone else to have all together.
Ultron became bored and tried to kill Kars once again, but was punched in the face by something. The force of the punch sent him flying through his Ultron Sentries, destroying them in the process. After Ultron recovered he tried to see what hit him. He then used the Mind Stone to look into Kars's mind to know what he's dealing with.
Ultron: Seems like you have some friends. Funny how they like to stay hidden. But not from me.
Ultron then used the Soul Stone and it showed him Kars's stand Whitesnake Ultimate. It then summoned an insane amount of disks and hurled them all at Ultron, who blocked with a forcefield. He then used the Space Stone to rip open the earth beneath him to suck Kars underneath. This didn't seem to stop Kars as he is using Dune Ultimate to use the surrounding sand and fired them at Ultron with enough force to send him into space. Ultron recovered and sees the Earth change. Kars is using the whole planet's worth of sand to use against Ultron. As the sand reaches the atmosphere, Ultron uses the Reality Stone to turn all of the sand into glass, and then proceeded to shatter it with a single strike. Kars then leaped into space to continue the fight as Ultron readies another attack. Ultron fires a shot in which Kars narrowly avoids, but the resulting shot may or may not have destroyed the earth in the process. Kars then summoned Das Boots Ultimate and fired a heap of missiles onto Ultron. After the resulting explosion Ultron used the Power Stone and fired a massive beam into Kars resulting in him flying towards Mars and crashing with incredible force. Kars gets up from the attack and realizes where he is at.
Kars: Not this rock again.
But this wasn't a time for Kars to have bad Deja Vu, as Ultron readied a follow up attack. Ultron tries to use Dune Ultimate again but Ultron used the Soul Stone to hold Dune Ultimate in place and in turn Kars himself.
Ultron: Your little puppet friends are bothering me.
With a hand gesture Dune Ultimate has been destroyed. However Kars was not killed and threw a punch with D4C Ultimate, catching Ultron off guard. Kars uses a nearby boulder and dragged Ultron into another dimension. However Ultron had broken free from D4C Ultimate's grip and took around.
Ultron: This seems rather cliche for some reason, and honestly rather boring.
D4C Ultimate threw another punch but Ultron avoided it and launched a punch so powerful it sent both him and Kars into another dimension and right after that he used the Soul Stone again and eliminated D4C Ultimate. Kars acted fast and summoned C-Moon Ultimate and temporarily stopped Ultron in his tracks. Kars then quickly summoned Killer Queen to turn Ultron into a bomb, but just at the last second he used the Stones to turn himself intangible and once again deleted another stand out of Kars's arsenal. At this point Ultron is getting pretty annoyed with the amount of Stands Kars keeps using against him.
Ultron: For god sake how many puppets do you have?
After that sentence he prepared a big F U explosion but Kars retaliated after bringing out The World Ultimate and stopping time. Just to play it safe he used The World Ultimate to punch the ground to send him out into space to avoid whatever the blast radius is.
Kars: Enough.
Kars was ready to end the time stop after being sent to a distant planet in the Alpha Centauri system and when he did, well let's just say that it was good that he ended up in space. Once time had resumed, Ultron's F U explosion ended up destroying Mars along with all the planets in our solar system. Kars grew a bit angry seeing how he had destroyed the one place he had considered in the universe livable.
Kars: Curse you. You machine.
Just after that a portal opened behind him with Ultron walking through and grabbing his head from behind.
Ultron: Oh but this IS my mission.
Kars began to breath. He summoned The World Ultimate and through it used Hamon to slice through Ultron's arm. Ultron flew back and used the Reality Stone to regenerate his missing arm. Kars pulled The World Ultimate behind him and stopped time. He breathed once more and begun to use Hamon. He flung himself forward into Ultron ready to deal the killing blow. But Ultron begun to move within his stopped time thanks to the Time Stone and before Kars could realize it, Ultron punched a whole through the World Ultimate and chopped its body in half in which case transferred over to Kars. Time resumed as normal and Kars was on the floor with his torso cut perfectly in half but he did regenerated.
Ultron: Seems to me that you don't have the speed to compete.
Kars: Perhaps so. I just need more.
Kars jumped back and summoned Made in Heaven Ultimate Requiem. The moment he did the blood that was on Ultron's hands immediately dried up and hardened. Kars made a quick movement that caught Ultron off guard for a second, but he quickly blocked at the last minute to block Kars's blade slash. But the second attack from Kars was much faster than his last and did catch Ultron off guards. Ultron got flung back and tried to attack back but Kars kept getting faster and avoided his attack, in which case Kars sent a punch with the power of his speed and launched Ultron out of the solar system. Ultron was getting even more irritated but he noticed that a nearby sun turning into a white dwarf star. Ultron understood what was happening and thought of a way to counter. But Kars was being a d*ck and kept trying to interrupt Ultron's thinking process. Kars kept getting faster and faster and begun to strike Ultron in vital areas with Hamon. Ultron was really getting irritated and used the Stones to turn himself intangible just so he can a second of thinking but by the time he did so the universe began to reset.
Kars: This is the end for you machine.
But before the universe can fully reset, the process suddenly stopped. Ultron has used the Time Stone to stop the flow of time for the universe while leaving Kars in motion.
Kars: What's your intention?
Ultron: What good is killing my opponents if my opponent cannot see their flaws?
Ultron readied his thumb and index fingers. Kars knew what was gonna happened and acted as fast as he could to prevent what was gonna happen. However he had a very difficult time damaging Ultron as he used the stones to increase his body's overall density to survive a higher level of damage. Kars kept trying to damage Ultron but it was too late, Ultron had snapped his fingers with a very bright light. At first it seemed like nothing had happened but in the eyes of Kars he knew what had happened. He focused everything he had to breath as good as possible and placed both his hands on the head of Ultron. He made progress as the helmet was beginning to melt but Ultron made no attempt to retaliate. Just when it seemed like Kars will melt the head of Ultron his hands began to turn to dust. Kars used Hamon through his feet and attempted to kick Ultron in the groin area but his feet turned to dust when he hit it. Kars was left with his his body and head remaining with Ultron deciding to punch the absolute hell out of his face which in turn sent him into another dimension with the bloodied face of Kars finally turning into dust.
Ultron: Good riddance.
Results[]
Announcer: KO!!!
Boomstick: Damn. People are sure to be pissed with this one, though I'm sure less than Ultron was fighting Kars.
Wiz: This one was an incredibly tricky one figure out decisively. Both Infinity Ultron and Novel Kars had a very wide array of powers that they could have easily matched each other in counters.
Boomstick: While Kars's Concept Understanding did mean he'd fully understand Ultron's abilities but with the Mind Stone Ultron can easily do the same, so trying to get the jump on each other with powers they haven't seen before was likely never gonna happen. Same with their Time Manipulations both could stop time and given that Ultimate Lifeforms can be unaffected by stuff like Giorno's GER, Ultron wasn't really gonna pull a bargaining card to protect his ass.
Popup: It could be argued that the fatal interactions with alternate versions of yourself is a trait exclusive to the JoJo universe as the MCU versions of Spider Man and Doctor Strange have physically interacted with alternate versions of themselves with no consequences.
Wiz: In fact a great majority of their powers they can either counter or match entirely. Both could travel dimensions, heal wounds, mess with time in various ways, and the list keeps going on from there. Which means one of the key factors in figuring out who would win comes from their physical stats.
Boomstick: This is kind of where Kars starts to lose his edge. While he can survive a ship crash that can flip Britain, it doesn't really stack up to the Galaxy power Ultron possesses. And comparing their attack speeds, Ultron was over 27 million times faster.
Wiz: Though physical stats was only 1 key factor, as Ultron also had the advantage of having a better access to his powers than Kars did. While each of Kars stands were versatile in their own rights, he had never showcased the ability to use 2 stands at once while Ultron did not have any sort of restraint.
Boomstick: Meaning he can do a lot more with a lot less. Take their time manipulations for example. Kars had 3 stands that can either accelerate, turn back, or stop time entirely which the Time Stone can also do all of that by itself.
Wiz: To be fair Kars did possess some instant win moves he could have achieved such as turning Ultron into a bomb. However Ultron could do the same to Kars without physical interactions thanks to the Reality Stone.
Boomstick: Now I know what a many of you guys are probably saying. "But Boomstick, could he just use Made in Heaven to accelerate to infinity and reset the universe?" Well to answer that it's yes and no.
Wiz: Sure he could hypothetically achieve infinity speeds, however achieving this process is not instantaneous as require time to fully achieve which the Time Stone can prevent.
Popup: While Made in Heaven can accelerate time limits such as Jotaro's own time stop, the Time Stone does not have any sort of limits. Doctor Strange intended on using this advantage to subdue Dormammu for all eternity if necessary.
Boomstick: That can also be said for the Universe reseting which doesn't even hit with the force of a universe. It doesn't effect those who alive and well so this practically is a pointless ability for those who are alive. Even if Kars can hit the force of an entire universe, Ultron can do the same scaling to the Watcher who can reverse the effect of a doomed timeline if he chooses too. And given how Thanos said he can shred an entire universe down to its last atom when he had the stones, Ultron's universal power is definitely not an outlier. And the key difference is Ultron can do this immediately while Kars cannot.
Wiz: Not only was Kars outclassed in physical stats and available options, but he also feel short when it came to defenses that Ultron could have performed anytime he chooses. Ultron could directly affect his mind with the Mind Stone, alter his physical makeup with the Reality Stone, halt Made in Heavens potential with the Time Stone or can pull a Thanos and just snap or willed Kars out of existence with all the stones.
Boomstick: And remember, Kars does have to experience the effect that had taken place in order to understand his opponent's power. Meaning there is a chance that Ultron can kill Kars before he has a chance to understand what Ultron can do. Kars just didn't have a good way keeping up with Ultron's ridiculous power.
Wiz: To be fair Kars was never gonna go down without a fight, but he just couldn't match up to Ultron's physical superiority, better accessibly power kit, and unavoidable haxes.
Boomstick: Guess you could say that Kars had met his inevitable destiny.
Wiz: The Winner is Infinity Ultron.
