Sonic vs Kirby! Between these two masked rivals to our lovable heroes, who will stand in the top?
Intro[]
Wiz: Infinite, the illusionary mercenary from Sonic.
Boomstick: And Meta Knight, the lone legendary swordsman from Kirby.
Wiz:The idea of becoming stronger is one thing, but the constant use of it while on your everday life? Now that's another story.
Boomstick: And these two not only wanted that, but they also attracted some unfriendly competition to them! So between these two mexican wre- i mean, masked warriors, who will stand in the top? He's Wiz and i'm Boomstick
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their armors, weapons and skills to find out who would win...a DEATH BATTLE.
Infinite[]
Wiz: Sonic the Hedgehog, the most famous hero in the world, constantly saving his animal friends and others from the hands of his arch enemy, Dr. Ivo Robotnik! or Eggman for most.
Boomstick: He has defeated his giant mechs again and again and again, caused the destruction of his super weapon the Death Egg, and stops his plans millions of times! Could nothing stop this little blue rat?
Wiz: Funny that you ask, because an ally of his managed to actually defeat Sonic! And this was no ordinary foe!
Boomstick: Infinite, whatever the reason he's called that, was originally the leader of a team of mercenaries called the Jackal Squad, which is about the same as calling your team the "Human Squad". Thanks to his reputation and power, Infinite was then proceeded to be nicknamed as the Ultimate Mercenary.
Wiz: One day, him and his team went on to attack Eggman's base for a bounty he had. There, he found about the mysterious Phantom Ruby while confronting Eggman, which revealed his desire: a world full of destruction.
Boomstick: Impressed by this and after being offered by Eggman, Infinite decided to join by his side and work as a great ally for his army.
Wiz: However later, one moment would change his life. He was easily defeated by Shadow, the Ultimate life form, who called him pathetic. Causing him to go on a identity crisis and-
Boomstick: Hold up a minute. A cool, masked guy dressed in black who screams alot and gets easily angered who appears in a new generation to manipulate the younger hero and leads a whole army? Oh my god, Infinite is just Kylo Ren from Star Wars!
(Then show this and then this)
Boomstick: Heh, no wonder Forces was a failure.
Wiz: After the destruction of his squad and his humilating defeat at Shadow's hands, Infinite quickly became obsessed with becoming stronger, so he asked Eggman to fuse himself with the Phantom Ruby, after the fusion between the two Infinite became an absolute monster!
Boomstick: He can freely teleport, create lasers, cast out giant blocks, create duplicates of Sonic's old foes and create rifts which teleports his enemies into the Null Space where they can't escape! He's also able to cast down illusions to trick you up.
Wiz: Infinite was also able to briefly blitz even Sonic in speed, who was able to dodge meteors which move at the same time as Eggman Nega's ship which flied past stars! By using the distance between these stars and the speed of the ship, Sonic would have to be moving at over 546 million times faster than light!
Boomstick: HOLY CRAP! Now that's a good reason to call him super fast! Not only that but he's strong too! Since he was able to match and defeat Sonic, which defeated Chaos who is empowered by a Chaos Emerald when one of them could split Earth and defeat Ifrit, who burned a WHOLE PLANET!
Wiz: He was even stated to be Sonic's strongest enemy!, however given that Base Sonic is nowhere near Super Sonic who defeated the likes of Solaris and that it likely implies about him defeating Sonic easily it makes that vague. Even with all of this in hand, Infinite eventually was no match for Sonic and the Rookie, with the resistance later defeating Eggman's army and crushing his plans once again.
Boomstick: Even with his failure, Infinite was still, one foe who any unfortunate being wouldn't want to stand against.
Infinite: That day, I gave up my own unsightly face. And I let go of the old me, the one that was so weak, so that I could become stronger. And then, at last... I obtained the power. The power to make all yield to my will. I... was... REBORN!

Meta Knight[]
Wiz: The planet of Popstar, an interresting star shaped planet which lies at the edge of the universe. There lives hundreds and hundreds of-
Boomstick: OH MY GOD EVERYONE HERE MAKES A PUPPY PALE IN COMPARISON! LOOK AT THEM WIZ!
Wiz: .....Yea they are cute. And on this planet lies the land of Dreamland, where the young hero of this planet lives, his name is Kirby!
Boomstick: A 20 centimeter tall gumball who can crack planets! How funny!
Wiz: He has defeated foe and foe again, incluiding his rival, the king of Dreamland Dedede.
Boomstick: However, this isn't his only recurring enemy, the other one looks..like him?
Wiz: Enter the mysterious and noble warrior who fought for years for peace, Meta Knight!
Boomstick: We don't know much about his origins since it's mostly shrouded in mystery, but from his personality he's someone who often enjoys a good old combat, facing many evil douches.
Wiz: While some think Meta Knight is just an evil rival to Kirby, that's actually a misuderstading of his character, since Meta Knight is someone who just wants to protect his planet and mostly fights Kirby because he's either mind controlled or want to test his skills to see if he's ready to fight the big bad.
Boomstick: Aw dammit, seems like Smash Bros taught me lies. I thought he was just a stupidly overpowered version of Kirby!
Wiz: However despite all of this he has shown rather antagonistic acts, such as launching the Halberd and wanting to rule Dreamland.
Boomstick: Well to be fair Dedede was kinda of a douche at first, thankfully he went through a redemption arc.
Wiz: And on his arsenal includes his main and trusted weapon, Galaxia!
Boomstick: A blade stated to contain "limitless power", we can see why it's called like that! It can create sword shaped beams, enourmous tornados, move fast enough to create afterimages, launch several attacks at once and more!
Wiz: Galaxia is powerful enough to give trouble to Kirby and Galacta Knight frequently, the latter which is considered the greatest warrior in the galaxy.
Boomstick: So as you can see, Canon Meta Knight is just as much of a stupidly overpowered Kirby as his Smash Bros counterpart.
Wiz: He has also natural abilities, such as his wings which he uses to fly at great speed, one time to fly from the end of the galaxy to Popstar in 8 seconds!
Boomstick: He's also comparable to foes such as Magolor and Marx, both of which can create enormous black holes. Marx was also capable of instantly destroying the planet sized Galactic Nova!
Wiz: That is very impressive, so much that i wonder how can a-
Boomstick: 8 inches tall ball do all of this, am i correct?
Wiz: Boomstick please stop pulling jokes and interrupting me! It's starting to get annoying!
Boomstick: Just as when i destroyed you on Smash with Meta Knight.
Wiz: *sigh* anyway...Meta Knight skill is extremely notable, however some of his stronger attacks require more energy to use and he has controlled by some like Star Dream and the Jamba Hearts. However, Meta Knight will forever be remembered as the greatest swordsman in the galaxy.
Meta Knight: "The time has come. The time to show our power! Dream Land's lazy lifestyle will end! I will rule!"
(Analysis then close)
Prelude[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, time to end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!
(Doors then close as the fight begins)
FIGHT![]
As the doors open, we are shown that the setting takes place on the calm Orange Oceans, famous oceans on Dreamland which got this name from the sunset giving them an orange look. This place was calm now until..
Suddenly blasts of energy start appearing and causing explosions, as we see members of the Meta-Knights fighting against someone.
Axe Knight: Psh, how tuff is this punk?! Every attack we tried just was useless against him!
Blade Knight: Calm yourself, Axe. Eventually we can win against him!
The enemy revealing to be Infinite, then casts out large sets of blocks which ram directly at the Knights, sending them flying some meters away.
Infinite: Defeating me will never happen, as fate itself decided that the victorious one over this carnage will be me, who will laugh at your pathetic efforts at trying to survive. Now let's see you deal with my puppets!
'Infinite then summons out Phantom clones of Metal Sonic and Chaos. Chaos would shapeshift his hand into a long sharped arm which slashes Sword Knight, inflicting great damage on him.
Mace Knight: Sword! Ah you damn rat!
Mace would then ram directly at the Metal Sonic duplicate, trying to slash him which causes Metal Sonic's arm to be teared off. Metal then pummels Mace to the ground before he's suddenly striked, slicing him into pieces.
Infinite: What?! Who dares to join this battle?!
The shadow who saved Mace then starts to appear more and more. It was the leader, Meta Knight himself!
Blade Knight: SIR! Glad that you came just in time!
Axe Knight: Sword was damaged by that water creature and Mace Knight was damaged a bit. What shall we do?
Meta Knight: Leave this to me, you all did a great job even if you couldn't defeat him. Now go to the Halberd to treat yourselves.
Axe Knight: But...he's strong there's no way that you can stand up to him!
Trident Knight: Lord Meta Knight has already dealt with enemies just as strong if not more powerful, Axe! We can trust on him.
Blade Knight: Alright then, let's move out knights!
All of the knights then suddenly teleport out from the battlefield. Leaving only Meta Knight and Infinite.
Meta Knight: Seems like you're the one who started all of this. But it doesn't matter, i will protect this land from you and your illusions!
Infinite: I must say that you're pretty determined for an old knight like you. But you will tremble in despair when you realize how weak you're against me!
(Cue: Under my Control - MMX2 Remix)
FIGHT!
Infinite then immediately summons several cubes, there were about 38 of them im fact. He then launches all of them straight up at Meta Knight, who then starts to jump over them. One comes face-to-face with Meta Knight, who slices it with Galaxia.
Infinite: Not bad for a knight.
He says while more cubes start to appear
Infinite: But a mere knight can't defeat me!
Infinite then directly teleports to Meta Knight, delivering an axe kick to his face, sending him to the ground. Upon that, Meta Knight immediately gets up, opens his wings, and flys directly at Infinite. Upon getting close, he strikes Infinite with a kick, and then with swords slashes to his face, breaking a bit of his mask. Meta Knight then grabs Infinite and flies ready to collide with the ground.
Infinite: Ugh! This is nothing!
Infinite then summons a clone of Chaos, who punches Meta Knight away from Infinite, who lands.
Infinite: You are good one-on-one, but let's see how you deal against an army!
Meta Knight: Hmph.
Infinite then directly sends off his clones against Meta Knight. Metal Sonic tried to use an Spindash against him, just to then be sliced in half. Zavok punched the ground and sended rocks flying at Meta Knight, who is hit by them and kicked by Shadow. Meta Knight is seen trying to get up.
Infinite: Hah! I knew that you couldn't stand up against them! Now my servants, finish hi-
Infinite is then slammed into the ground by a sword beam. He then looks to his back and sees three Meta Knights
Infinite: That damn knight...he can duplicate himself!
The other Meta Knight then duplicates himself, and then both Infinite and Meta Knight's clones start to fight, with the Meta Knight clones starting to destroy Infinite's clones.
Infinite: Enough!
Infinite then starts to get a dark aura, and then he summons up a portal to the Null Space, which sucks all the Meta Knight clones in. Before it finally finished, the real Meta Knight appeared behind Infinite and then stroke him with a freezing slash, freezing his arm. Meta Knight then punches Infinite in the stomach, whom of which then counters with him grabbing Meta Knight's arms and starts to spin and sends Meta Knight flying, causing a massive boom and a big explosion with a crater on it. When Meta Knight gets up, he sees that Infinite has summoned a mini sun.
Infinite: Hah! What you think of this? Now not only this will blow you away, but this whole planet as well!
Meta Knight: Tch, this is bad!
Infinite then sends it down directly on Meta Knight.
Infinite: Farewell, pest!
Meta Knight then starts to charge himself up, absorbing some energy and then he creates a massive Mach Tornado against Infinite's sun. The two forces strikes with each other, causing a massive earthquake. Just as Infinite's sun is gaining the upper hand, Meta Knight uses more power and manages to overpower the Sun, directly sending it at Infinite.
Infinite: W-what?! Impossible!
The sun directly clashes with Infinite, and both get sent off to space. The sun then starts to become brighter.
Infinite: I-IMPOSSIBLE! I'M NOT WEAK! THIS IS NOT HOW I SHALL FALL, I SHALL DESTROY THIS PATHETHIC PIECE OF ROCK ALONG WITH YOU, YOU F-
The sun then explodes into an enormous explosion, vaporizing Infinite and creating a view visible through all of Popstar.
Meta Knight:...How weak!
Meta Knight then turns his back and teleports away.

KO!
Boomstick: Oh wow! I'm surprised that explosion didn't vaporized the entire atmosphere!
Wiz: At the end of the day, this battle was definitely a formidable one...but not for Meta Knight, as a battle like this was just tuesday.
Boomstick: Definitely Wiz. Meta Knight has fought many kind of enemies and people comparable to him, Infinite meanwhile was just a mercenary, not a high class warrior like Meta Knight.
Wiz: Meta Knight even defeated Galacta Knight, who has been stated many times to be the greatest warrior in the galaxy, alongside he himself beating a bunch of Kirby clones who had the same powers as the real one and considered them pathetic. Alongside casually beating clones of people like Sectonia and Dark Matter, both of which were already dangerous threats to Kirby before.
Boomstick: So yeah, Meta Knight is definitely far more skilled. He also has a bunch of powers which would keep Infinite in check, like using his ghost form to possess him and drink his life force like a juice, freeze him, reflect his attacks or create attacks which negate his durability. Not only that, but Meta Knight is also far stronger!
Wiz: Infinite scales to the likes of the Eclipse Cannon, which was stated to be powerful enough to pierce stars. Calculating this feat we got enough power to completely destroy a small star. Pretty impressive, but nothing compared to Meta Knight.
Boomstick: Meta Knight can, for example, fight with Drawcia, who created a painting world with many stars which collapsed with her death! Destroying a realm of that size would alone be infinitely stronger than what Infinite can do!
Wiz: Not only that but he can take hits and fight with Magolor, who is empowered by the Master Crown, which upon defeated was capable of collapsing the space of Another Dimension, which is an UNIVERSE. Also, while Infinite's scaling to Sonic's feat of speed is impressive, Meta Knight can cross a galaxy in about 8 seconds and can directly keep up with the Warp Star, which can cross several galaxies in seconds.
Boomstick: Now, to be fair, Infinite did had one advantage: sending Meta Knight to Null Space, which would incapacitate him. However, that is a move Infinite doesn't usually do in battle and Meta Knight could get over it.
Wiz: So all in all, Meta Knight's skill, power, speed and abilities topped over Infinite. Infinite compared to Meta Knight, is simply just a regular enemy
Boomstick: Infinite was just too weak.
Wiz: The winner is Meta Knight.

- The connections between Meta Knight and Infinite are that both are two, white masked, serious rivals figures to a young and heroic protagonist (The Avatar and Kirby) who constantly encounters and fights against them. Both worked on a plan involving full scale global conquering (Meta Knight wanting to destroy Dreamland's laziness and wanting to rule it and Infinite working in Eggman's plans to conquer the world). Both were contacted and worked with the goofy rival of the young protagonist (Eggman and Dedede) to aid them in their plans and fend off the protagonist, while also not really caring for the main antagonist and just going in for their own personal gains. Both also have a special squad to help them (The Meta-Knights and Infinite's copycats). Both were also involved with gigantic celestial bodies to help with their plans (Meta Knight summoning Nova the Clockwork Star and Infinite creating a mini sun). They also fought against forces by themselves (Shadow and Haltmann) which they were defeated, causing them to change (Infinite wanting to becoming stronger and fusing with the Phantom Ruby and Meta Knight being transformed into Mecha Knight). Both are also well known to be pretty interested in strength (Infinite considering himself strong and wanting to become stronger and Meta Knight constantly training to get stronger). The only visible part of their faces are also their yellow shining eyes. Both were also shown to briefly outspeed the protagonist on a specific situation (Infinite dodging Sonic's attack and Meta Knight grabbing the treasure chest before Daroach and Kirby). Both also lead an army (The Halberd crew and Eggman's army and his copycats). Both also wield pointy swords with gems at the center (Infinite's sword and Galaxia).
