History[]

Coming from the the sea Ika planned on taking over the humanity because humans pollute the ocean. However the invasion wasn't to go as she had planned. Ika, after having an intense 1v1 match against a mosquito, broke a huge hole into the side of a beach house. Because of this she has to work there to pay for the damages. Over the course of the show Ika shows off her many different abilities and learns many things about the culture of humans.

Abilities[]

Has all the powers of a squid.
Body Control.
- Has complete and utter control over her tentacles and how far she can stretch them.
  - She can use her tentacles to make boats and duck ferries or to simply wrap people up.
- She also has control over her fins, which she can use to swim and attack with.
Can glow in the dark.
Ink Control.
- Can spew out squid ink from her mouth.
- She removed all the ink from one of her manga panels.
Weight Control.
- With her bracelets, she can control how heavy or light she can be.
- When she's light, she can float in the air.
Natural Instincts.
- Her body can continue to do her daily work and defend against attackers if she's asleep.
- When she feels as if either herself or someone she cares about is in danger and either tentacles or fins no longer work, her instincts kick in and make them work again.
  - Her tentacles also regrow right away if they're cut off as well.
- Her instincts felt a foreboding aura when she tried to enter Chizuru's room.
Regeneration.
- Her tentacles and clothes can regenerate if damaged or torn.
  - This includes messes for clothes.
Water Breathing.
Is aware that she's a manga character.

Is stated that Chizuru would be unable to stop her if she were serious against her.
- Chizuru is capable of moving faster than a mircosecond, can hold back lightning, is capable of surviving big explosions, and is heavily implied to be an ex-Military Soldier.
  - Chizuru is also considered to be superior to the cast, which includes a casual Ika Musume, both of which are capable of surviving big explosions as well.
Capable of cutting down the ink of her manga, leaving the panel completely blank.
- She's seen shortly after to have been unaffected by it when it came back.

Faults[]

Relies heavily on her tentacles.
Despite being amazing at math and learning languages, she's can be very airheaded and stupid in general, especially on human customs.
- Can be tricked by giving her shrimp.
- Was easily fooled by Takeru Aizawa's "disguise".
- Forgot that she could breath underwater.
- Mistakes animal water floaties of Orcas and Sharks as the real deal.
Is deathly afraid of Sharks, Orcas, Dolphins, and Chizuru.
Taking off her hat kills her.
If her tentacles or fins aren't used for long periods of time, they become unusable.
- Though this can be countered by Ika's instincts if she's either feels like she's in immediate danger, like seeing her natural predator (be it real or fake), or someone she cares about is in immediate danger.
When she's light, she can be blown away by wind currents.
- She was almost blown out of a window by a fan.
Has an ego, seeing herself as a fearsome and unstoppable invader.

Ika's catchphrase is "Geso".
Ika has mistaken ghosts for people.
Ika often replaces words with "squid". Examples of these cover swears and adverbs.
She had a crossover with Splatoon, where her outfit appeared and can be purchased.
Though her real age is unknown, her appearance matches that of a 12 to 16 year old.
