Interlude[]
Wiz: The power of darkness is not to be taken lightly. While enticing, it corrupts and brings out the worst in anybody who weilds it.
Boomstick: And that includes giant frickin monsters. Like Hydranoid, the savage three-headed destroyer of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
Wiz: And the Predazord, the deadly carnivore combination of the Power Rangers Wild Force.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Hydranoid[]
Wiz: Somewhere in another dimension, there exists Vestroia, a planet inhabited by color-coded kaijus called Bakugan. Everything was rather peaceful until the vile dragon Naga wrecked havoc and caused a phenomenon that sent most of the Bakugan to Earth as harmless toys.
Boomstick: And when kids got a hold of them they turned them into a marketable card game because nothing is more fun than collecting giant monsters and having them fight each other to the death. It’s like the forbidden love child of Pokemon and the Godzilla movies. However Naga was still on the loose threatening to destroy Earth and Vestroia, but five kids and their Bakugan partners formed the Bakugan Battle Brawlers in order to stop Naga’s scheme.
Wiz: Though a few unruly children doesn’t seem like much of a problem, Naga took it very seriously and devised a plan to get rid of them. He recruited the strongest Bakugan he could find and sent him to destroy all who posed a threat to him, and anyone who dared face this monster would remember it’s name: Darkus Hydranoid.
Boomstick: With those edgy colors and spikes as far as the eyes can see it's no wonder other Bakugan are afraid of this guy. Hydranoid is cruel and merciless in battle and feeds off the energy of defeated Bakugan. He’s done this so many times that he’s became stronger than any Bakugan on Earth and he’ll keep doing it until he achieves his goal of becoming the ultimate Bakugan.
Wiz: But in order to become the ultimate Bakugan, Hydranoid needed a human partner to command him in battle and Naga was more than willing to provide one. Intrestly enough, Naga chose the sweet and innocent Alice Gehabich, the brains behind the Battle Brawlers and granddaughter to the genius scientist Dr. Michael Gehabich who had created a device that allowed people to travel across dimensions.
Boomstick: “Genius” may not be the right word here. When Dr. Michael used his invention, he wound up in Vestroia and met Naga. For some reason he thought the scary looking dragon was a nice guy and gave Naga a card that let him travel to the twin cores that keep Vestroia in balance.
Wiz: Naga took control of the Silent Core that contained negative energy, but became trapped inside it while the positive energy filled Infinity Core escaped to Earth. Unable to pursue the other core and obtain ultimate power, Naga used Dr. Michael’s invention against him and corrupted him and Alice with the Silent Core’s energy. The result transformed Dr. Michael into the demonic Hal-G and Alice into the power hungry servant of Naga, Masquerade.
Boomstick: A transgender edgelord with shades so pointy that it’s a miracle that he never poked his eyes out with them. Once Masquerade was born, he set out on a mission to become the top Bakugan player and acquire the Infinity Core for Naga. He even proved to be the biggest threat to the Battle Brawlers who were also looking for the Infinity Core. He sent his minions to fight them on a daily basis and banish their defeated Bakugan to the Doom Dimension, which is basically giant monster hell.
Wiz: And with Hydranoid by his side, Masquerade was unstoppable, but he still strived to become stronger. Masquerade sent Hydranoid to battle stronger and stronger opponents eventually causing the dark dragon to evolve into the more powerful Dual Hydranoid and later it’s ultimate form Darkus Alpha Hydranoid.
Boomstick: Woah! That sucker got three heads! I bet nobody even bothered challenging Hydranoid or his master at that point.
Wiz: Except for Dan Kuso, leader of the Battle Brawlers, and his own Bakugan Dragonoid better known as Drago. During an intense clash of dragons, Dan and Drago managed to defeat Hydranoid and free Alice from Masquerade’s control. Alice was overcome with grief for unknowingly hurting her closest friends, but after making peace with her evil self she rejoined the Battle Brawlers along with her new partner Hydranoid as their sixth Bakugan-Brawler duo.
Boomstick: Standing about 24 feet tall, Hydranoid is shockingly small for a kaiju, but he compensates for his size with a sh*t ton power. On top of that, he has a special cell structure that makes his whole body like a super armor complete with wings for flying, metallic tentacle-things for snaring, and buzzsaw chest that drains the energy of its victims.
Wiz: That biologically-impossible torso is used for Hydranoid’s Destroy Vanish technique, one of the many attacks Alice can activate through her Ability Cards. While Hydranoid is dangerous up close, most of his abilities specialize in long-range combat and as a Darkus Attribute Bakugan he can manipulate darkness itself into raw energy for absolutely devastating blasts.
Boomstick: His signature Death Trident attack fires three balls of darkness that can explode into more balls of darkness and hone in on their target. The Chaos Leap Sting restrains opponents for a direct hit, Blinding Splice is a toxic mist that weakens opponents while strengthening Hydranoid, and the Indigo Nightmare is scary looking laser that probably gives off some serious dragon breath. You might want to take a Tic Tac after that one Hydranoid... or three.
Wiz: Hydranoid can even use attacks from his previous evolutions like the Merge Shield, which copies any power ups his opponent received or Gravity Chamber, a powerful tornado that sucks up and destroys everything in sight. And if Hydranoid is ready to end the fight, Alice can activate his strongest ability Final Demolition, combining the energy blasts from all three heads to create a lethal finishing blow.
Boomstick: Strongest, but not the most impressive. There was that time Hydranoid got one of his heads blown up and Masquerade was able to bring it back through the power of anime bullsh*t. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Wiz: Not quite. Hydranoid takes inspiration from the Hydra of Greek Mythology who is notorious for having its heads chopped up and growing two in its place.
Boomstick: So what doesn't kill him makes him stronger. Kind of like how every time I get a hangover, I gain the ability to drink more beer.
Wiz: Well technically you can develop an alcohol tolerance, but it's best to limit your drinking to avoid the consequences. That is why I secretly put a chip in your brain to shock you whenever your drinking problem goes too far.
Boomstick: So that's why my brain has been itching for the past week... oh well.
Boomstick opens up a can of beer and starts drinking it. Suddenly, sparks fly off Boomstick's head and smoke comes out his ear, indicating that the anti-beer chip became overloaded and short-circuited. Boomstick finished off his beer without noticing what was going on in his head.
Wiz: ...Aaannd it's back to the drawing board.
Boomstick: Back to the murder dragon, Hydranoid has had one hell of a tack record fighting against good and evil alike. He’s defeated plenty of powerful Bakugan from his robotic doppelganger Hades to a multi-headed snake monster named Exedra.
Wiz: The Legendary Soldier Exedra to be precise, who along with five other Bakugan once separated Vestroia into six separate worlds. Despite Exedra's incredible strength, Dual Hydranoid was enough to overpower him.
Boomstick: Proving that having more heads doesn't make you stronger. Ironic since Hydranoid was growing those extra heads to become stronger himself.
Wiz: Of course, none of Hydranoid’s victories would be possible without Alice’s help. The two make the perfect brain and brawn duo with Alice using her strategic prowess to play opponents into her hands and taking them down with Hydranoid’s insane power. As Masquerade, she climbed the Bakugan ranking system to become the number one player in the world. And on the occasions where Hydranoid’s power isn’t enough, Alice carries Gate Cards to affect the field of battle such as Ring Zero, a card that freezes any enemies standing on it and prevents them from activating abilities.
Boomstick: That kind of skill definitely helped during the fight against Dan and Drago which was so intense that the pocket dimension they fought in collapsed on itself. Sure, Hydranoid did lose that fight, but he evenly matched Dragonoid to draw multiple times and survived the full power of the fire-breathing dragon. It should be noted that Drago had evolved into Ultimate Dragonoid so he could stand a chance against Hydranoid and achieved this form by defeating the other Battle Brawlers’s Bakugan.
Wiz: This means Hydranoid should also be superior to those Bakugan as well including Tigrerra who is fast enough to dodge lightning and has blades that can cut through any known material on Earth.
Boomstick: That is one kitty you don’t want to mess with, yet those exact blades couldn’t down Drago when Hydranoid could. With all that power it’s no wonder Hydranoid is one of the most feared Bakugan out there. Even Hal-G was scared when he showed up to challenge Naga.
Wiz: But don’t overestimate Hydranoid, his power is incredible, but he has suffered a few losses. He is reliant on his partner to relay commands to him and depending on who it is, his weak points may vary. For example, Masquerade suffered from extreme arrogance and could be thrown off his game when facing a tenacious opponent.
Boomstick: And Alice wasn’t necessarily a step up from the blonde. She isn’t very confident in battle and refuses to give in to her darker instincts fearing that it could make her lose control and turn evil again. But that didn’t stop her from helping her friends to put an end to Naga, rescue her grandfather from Hal-G, and save two whole worlds from destruction.
Wiz: Alice and Hydranoid did have to part ways afterwards, but the two would always be together at heart. Alice would continue to help her grandfather with the dimensional technology that would one day unite humans and Bakugan, and when a new threat came to Vestroia, Hydranoid staged a revolt that inspired a new team of Brawlers to take action.
Boomstick: They might not be the Beauty and The Beast couple you were expecting, but when big trouble comes you can count on Alice and Hydranoid to send the bad guys to their doom.
Hydranoid: Show him how strong you truly are, Alice!
Shadow: Huh?
Hydranoid: Wipe that smirk off his face!
Alice: Would you be so arrogant if you knew I used to be the Brawler Masquerade?
Shadow: What!?
Alice: I will not lose to a lowly Vexos like you!
Predazord[]
Wiz: 3,000 years ago in the ancient kingdom of Animaria, a war waged between the Wild Zords, animal-like guardians of the Earth, and the Orgs, spirits of pollution. The feud came to an end upon the death of the tyrannical Master Org, thus saving the Earth from destruction.
Boomstick: Until many years later, another idiot scientist, Dr. Victor Adler, found the remains of Master Org and was like “f*ck it, why not” before eating the remains and turning into the new Master Org. Sheesh, there letting anyone be a doctor these days aren't they?
Wiz: With a new master to serve, the Orgs ran amok once again, but Princess Shayla of Animaria had the perfect contingency plan for this occasion. She chose five extraordinary humans and connected them to the Wild Zords, transforming them into a team of superheroes known as the Power Rangers Wild Force.
Boomstick: A totally original idea that nobody else thought of in the past decade. The Rangers proved to be the heroes the Earth needed, destroying Orgs on a weekly basis thanks to their animal friends that could combine into a giant a**-kicking robot. Master Org was at a loss until a walking nose pun showed up and said: “Hey, I know where we can find a vampire coffin with a werewolf inside it who has his own Wild Zords”.
Wiz: The Orgs opened the tomb and out popped a terrifying beast with a troublesome trio by his side. These were the Dark Wild Zords, savage beings guided only by bloodlust. They consist of the Wolfzord, an agile predator of the night, the Alligatorzord, a massive reptile that eats other Zords for breakfast, and the Hammerhead Sharkzord, a seafaring killer who can move 2.5 times the speed of sound.
Boomstick: That's bound to give Jaws a run for his money. These three Zords are absolute monsters on their own, but when they need to amp up the power, they combine into a terrifying giant with one of the most bada** mecha names ever: the Predazord!
Wiz: Standing 200 feet tall and weighing over 6000 tons, the Predazord is a force of pure destruction. It overpowered the other Wild Zords and put the Ranger on death’s door on multiple occasions making it seemingly unstoppable. However, the Predazord wasn’t always evil, the Dark Wild Zords were once defenders of the Earth just like the other Wild Zords and served under the command of Merrick Baliton, a loyal warrior of Animaria and lover to Princess Shayla.
Boomstick: You’d think the two would really hit it off especially when Merrick was assigned to protect Shayla during the war, but when Master Org proved to be too powerful for the other warriors, he decided to take matters into his own hands. Merrick went to steal a cursed wolf mask from the Orgs and used its power on the Predazord to destroy Master Org effectively making him the hero that won the war.
Wiz: Unfortunately, Merrick’s victory was short-lived as the mask’s power took hold of him, corrupting his mind and body to the point that the other Animarian warriors were forced to seal him away. When the seal was broken, Merrick had fully transformed from a righteous warrior to the malevolent Duke Org Zen-Aku.
Boomstick: This Unicorn-Wolfman was strong enough to beat the Power Rangers in roughly a minute. Not only that, but he also stole their Zords and corrupted them into his own Dark Wild Zords making Zen-Aku one of the biggest d*cks in the entire series.
Wiz: But beneath all that evil, Merrick was still in there struggling to remember who he once was. The Rangers eventually learned the truth and that they could break Zen-Aku’s curse by defeating the Predazord in battle.
Boomstick: And they managed to pull it with the help of the Armadillo Wildzord, aka the world’s deadliest soccer ball. The Rangers accomplished their “goal” of destroying Zen-Aku and Merrick was finally free… at least on the outside.
Wiz: Merrickl felt guilty for what he did as Zen-Aku and refused to face the people who saved him or Princess Shayla, but with the Orgs on the rampage he put his feelings aside to aid the Rangers as their sixth member the Lunar Wolf Ranger aided by the newly reformed Predazord.
Boomstick: Did it just spawn a face from inside it’s face? Gross. But, the Predazord has a lot of awesome attacks that Merrick can activate from it’s cockpit. It can unleash Wolf Fury or Hammerhead Smash to strike with it's jaw hands, charge up destructive fireballs, throw the Crescent Boomerang which hones in on it’s target for multiple blows, or bust out the all-powerful Gator Staff, a spiked sword strong enough to knock any Org down with a direct hit.
Wiz: And unlike most Megazords, the Predazord has two different finishers. The first is the Revolver Phantom in which the Gator Staff spins like a drill to pierce through enemies and the second is a massive energy blast from it’s chest called the Predator Wave. Though if none of these attacks are enough, the Predazord can swap out it’s arms with other Zords to achieve new forms. Usually it takes an Animal Crystal to bring out a Wildzord, but the Rangers are connected to the hearts of the Wild Zords and are capable of summoning them unconditionally, even from beyond the grave.
Boomstick: Basically it’s some magic of friendship bullsh*t. Actually, I wonder if I can call upon my own Wild Zord. COME TO ME MIGHTY BEERASAURUS REXZORD!!!
Wiz: Boomstick, there is no such thing as a Beerasuarus Rex.
Suddenly a T-Rex barges into the room carrying loads of beer cans in its claws.
Wiz: Holy sh*t!
Boomstick: Yay, it worked!
The sheer excitement of drinking beer from the dinosaur causes the anti-beer chip in Boomstick’s head to go off again and cause more smoke to come out his ear.
Boomstick: Hey, do you smell smoke?
Wiz: Anyways, the Predazord can combine with the Giraffezord to enter Spear Mode that of course has a giant spear arm or use the Polar Bearzord and Black Bearzords for Double Knuckle Mode, granting incredible punching power and twin energy canons that blast fire and ice. And to go further, the Predazord can draw power from all other Wildzords to achieve Predazord Blue Moon.
Boomstick: It's not related to the beer, trust me I checked, but this mode does more than give the Predazord a new paint job. Blue Moon grants a massive power increase and upgrades the Predator Wave to the much stronger Blue Moon Wave. This mode is so impressive that Animus, the god of frickin Wild Zords, wanted to fight alongside it.
Wiz: It’s fair to say that the Predazord has torn through its fair share of Orgs including a lightning-shooting robot, a demonic karaoke machine, and Zen-Aku who just randomly came back because why not.
Boomstick: Speaking of Zenni, while he was piloting the Predazord, it managed to beat the Wild Force Megazord multiple times and once jumped hundreds of feet into the air to dodge the Giraffezord’s finisher where it launches it’s head so fast that it catches fire due to friction.
Wiz: Admittedly the Predazord was stronger when under Zen-Aku’s influence, but it is still on par with the Wild Force Megazord who can kick a massive bell out of the air and throw the 5700 ton Kongazord Striker.
Boomstick: The Predazord can even resist mind control from the Lion Tamer Org and block a killing blow from Master Org, the guy who once knocked the Ranger’s floating island base out of the sky. There is no doubt the Predazord is powerful, but it helps that Merrick is a 3,000 year old warrior skilled enough to defeat Orgs that the other Rangers couldn’t… also he can sense ninjas, that is just frickin awesome. Of course, He has the Predazord to thank for all that since the big guy is the source of his powers.
Wiz: The Wildzords are linked to a multiverse spanning energy field called the Morphin Grid, which grants Power Rangers their abilities. With the Gird’s power Merrick has moved fast enough to dodge lightning, and if the Predazord is using the same power source, then it should be capable of the same reaction feats.
Boomstick: Plus the whole point of making these monsters super sized is so that they can overpower the Rangers. Yellow Ranger Trini Kwan, who also draws power from the Morphin Grid, is strong enough to move an 11,000 ton boulder and her team’s Megazord could punch a monster of similar weight over one hundred feet into the air.
Wiz: While Megazords don’t scale to each other in the same way Rangers do, this does give an idea of how powerful a Megazord is supposed to be. But all that power doesn’t make the Predazord invincible and has suffered losses against both Orgs and Megazords.
Boomstick: Also the Alligatorzord is responsible for keeping the Predazord together so if he goes down, everybody goes down. Probably not a bright idea to make him the chest, you know, the part that is most likely to take hits.
Wiz: But neither Merrick nor the Predazord would give in so easily. They continued to fight against impossible odds and eventually defeated Master Org by joining the Wild Force Rangers and the Wildzords in a combined finishing blow. After saving the world, Merrick retired from his Power Ranger duties and started travelling the world looking for a new adventure. He wouldn’t be alone as the Predazord would continue to watch over him, and his “old friend” Zen-Aku joined him to seek redemption.
Boomstick: That guy just can’t seem to die can he?
Wiz: But if the Earth ever needs him again, you can be certain the Lunar Wolf Ranger and his Predazord will answer the call.
Merrick: Wildzords combine!
The Predazord assembles itself into the form used by Zen-Aku, but then the horn on it’s head retracts and the Preadzord’s wolf head opens up as a face emerges from inside it.
Cole: It’s the Predazord, but the evil’s been destroyed.
Merrick: Ready for Battle. Predazord, awaken!
DEATH BATTLE![]
Somewhere in a large forest, three massive beasts are seen roaming around carefree like dogs on a walk. They consist of a red-eyed silver wolf, a floating purple shark, and dark green alligator with yellow spikes on its back. Standing near these giants is Merrick Baliton, the Lunar Wolf Ranger, morphed into his silver and blue totally-not-spandex uniform.
Merrick: Feels good to get out of the Animarium to stretch our legs, right guys?
The Wild Zords let out a cry of excitement, indicating that they are enjoying their stroll on Earth. However, their peaceful moment was interrupted by a nearby voice calling out to challenge the giants.
???: Not so fast! Gate Card set!
A mysterious card is thrown at the Wild Zords, but hits the ground instead causing a purple ripple to cover the surface.
Merrick: Huh? What was that?
Merrick turned his head to where the card was thrown and saw a young girl with orange hair standing on a nearby cliff. It was Alice Gehabich and she had mistaken the Wild Zords for invaders trying to attack the Earth. While Merrick couldn’t make it out, there also appeared to be a floating black object above her shoulder and it was giving off a bad vibe.
Alice: I don’t know what you're up too, but I won’t let you wreck havoc here. Are you ready Hydranoid?
Hydranoid: Let’s do this, Alice!
Alice nods to Hydranoid as he curls up into ball form. She then grabs Hydranoid and throws him towards the giant beasts.
Alice: Bakugan Brawl! Darkus Alpha Hydranoid, Stand!
The ball opens up and unleashes a purple glow. From the glow, Hydranoid emerges in his true form: a massive three-headed black dragon covered in spikes. Merrick takes notice of the large horns on each of Hydranoid’s heads and believes they are the same horns the Orgs possess. Now that he recognized the dragon and it’s master as enemies, Merrick calls out to his Zords so they can prepare for battle.
Merrick: Looks like we’ve got trouble. Wild Zords combine!
The Alligatorzord gets into position, transforming itself into a torso with legs. The Wolfzord and Hammerhead Sharkzord join in by attaching themselves to the Alligatorzords’ sides, becoming a set of arms. Finally a head with glowing yellow eyes pops out of the Alligatorzord, completing the Predazord’s transformation sequence. Merrick jumps into Predazord and takes out a staff which he immediately puts inside the cockpit to give him control over the giant.
Merrick: Predazord, Awaken!
The Predazord gets into a fighting stance, and looks down upon Hydranoid who is significantly smaller than the Megazord. Though Alice looks scared, Hydranoid is not fazed by this and instead becomes more eager to battle.
Alice: Hydranoid...
Hydranoid: Don’t worry, Alice. This one may look strong, But he's still no match for me!
FIGHT!
Hydranoid starts off the battle by charging towards the Predazord, but it was a feeble attempt as the latter simply kicked the former back dozens of feets. The black dragon quickly landed on his feet to slow his momentum while Alice prepared a counterattack by holding up a mysterious card.
Alice: Ability activate, Death Trident!
The ability card glows and gives Hydranoid power and he charges up an energy ball in each of his head then fires them. All three blasts hit the Predazord directly and make it stumble backwards. Even Merrick lost balance from the attack, but immediately got back up.
Merrick: This little guy has some serious power. Wolf Fury!
The Predazord raises it’s wolf fist up high and runs toward it’s opponent attempting to strike him down. However, Hydranoid is prepared for the attack and spreads his wings before taking flight, barely dodging the punch as it sinks into the ground.
Hydranoid continues it’s assault by blasting the Predazord with more energy balls. The Megazord is bombarded by the attacks and stumbles some more. It tries to fight back by punching the dragon, but his opponet is too evasive in the air and effortlessly avoids every swing.
Merrick: We need to get this guy out of the air. Predazord, Crescent Boomerang!
The Predazord grabs a crescent-shaped object from its chest and fills it with energy until it glows yellow. It then threw the object at Hydranoid, who dodged the first strike, but was then hit from behind as the Crescent Boomerang came back to hone in on it’s target.
Hydranoid: Argggh! What is this thing!? I can’t shake it off!
The Crescent Boomerang continues to strike Hydranoid over and over again until the dragon can no longer stay airborne and starts falling out of the sky. Before Hydranoid could hit the ground, the Predazords grab him with both hands and attempt to crush him with the wolf and hammerhead jaws causing the dragon to roar in pain.
Alice: I got you Hydranoid. Ability activate, Destroy Vanish!
At Alice’s command, wires sprout out of Hydranoid’s wings and wrap around the Predazord’s arms. Hydranoid then spins the buzzsaw on his chest, drastically damaging the Wolfzord and Hammerhead Sharkzord from inside their mouths. The Predazord tries to let go, but Hydranoid’s grip was too tight keeping it close to the Destroy Vanish attack.
Merrick: Oh no! The Wild Zords are losing energy! Come on guys we need to break free!
In an effort to escape the Destroy Vanish, the Predazord starts shaking Hydranoid up and down while trying to pull it’s arms apart. This caused Hydranoid to lose his hold as the wires lossend allowing the Predazord to push the dragon away.
Alice: Ability activate, Death Trident!
Hydranoid lands on its feet and fires another round of energy balls. Though the Predazord was still recovering from the last attack, it managed to pull out its Gator Staff and deflect the energy balls. After regaining its strength, the Predazord rushes towards its opponent and swings his staff upwards, launching Hydranoid into the air before delivering a series of slashes that nearly incapacitates the black dragon. After Hydranoid landed on the ground, he struggled to get back up and his opponent was ready to end the fight.
Alice: Oh no, Hydranoid!
Merrick: We got him now! Activate Revolver Phantom!
The Predazord swings its Gator Staff in a circle, creating a circle of light then pierces the staff through the circle as it begins to spin. Both the Predazord and its staff charge at Hydranoid and are on the verge of a finishing blow until Alice stretches her hand out to signal something.
Alice: Gate Card open, Ring Zero!
Suddenly the ground begins to glow and the Predazord stops in midair as if it were frozen in time. This gives Hydranoid the time he needs to get back up and get back into fighting position.
Merrick: What’s going on? The Predazord isn’t moving.
Alice: We’ve got you now. Ability activate, Indigo Nightmare!
Upon the activation of another ability, Hydranoid fires three black lasers that devastate the frozen Predazord. The beastly combination barely survived, but the Hammerhead Sharkzord was knocked off its arm and fell to the ground unconscious.
Merrick: Hammerhead! We’re going to need a new Wild Zord. Giraffezord descend!
Merrick raises his hand into the air to call for aid, and sure enough a giant giraffe rushes onto the battlefield.
Merrick: I’ve got to thank Max for this later. Predazord, Spear Mode!
The Giraffezord gets into position, becoming a new arm with a spear for a hand and attaching itself to the Predazord, thus creating a new combination.
Hydranoid: Still got more tricks, I see. No matter, I’ll still tear you to shreds!
Hydranoid takes to the air once again and charges at the Predazord. The latter meets the attack using its new spear arm to strike the former. The two collide, matching each other in force and pushing themselves back. The Predazord continues it’s assault, moving forward while trying to pierce its opponent with its spear, but Hydranoid dodges the attacks then fires another Indigo Nightmare to knock the Predazord back dozens of feet.
Merrick: Let’s see you dodge this. Crescent Moon Spear, fire!
The Predazord raises its spear arm then points it at its opponent. The spear then launches its head and catches fire as it draws near Hydranoid. Though the dragon is ready to dodge the attack, he almost fails to realize that Alice is right behind him.
Alice: Hydranoid, look out!
Hydranoid: Oh no! If I move, Then Alice will get hurt.
Hydranoid decides to stand his ground, but unfortunately takes a direct hit from the spear attack. Though he was still standing, the intense damage caused him to fall to his knees.
Alice: Hydranoid, are you ok?
Hydranoid: I’m fine, Alice. I’m just glad you're safe.
Hydranoid extends his hand so Alice could get on and be somewhere safer. The Brawler nods and climbs on his hand before she is lifted up and jumps onto the dragon’s shoulder. Now that Alice was in a safer spot, Hydranoid flew high into the air and prepared to retaliate.
Alice: Ability activate, Blinding Splice!
Alice throws an Ability Card at the Predazord and it turns into a purple fog that wraps around the giant. The Megazord begins to feel weaker and stumbles, but its opponents were just getting started.
Hydranoid: This is for almost hurting Alice.
Alice: Ability activate, Death Trident!
Hydranoid fires yet another round of energy balls, but the Predazord gets up and prepares for the attack.
Merrick: You can’t beat us with that trick again, Crescent Boomerang!
The Predazord throws its boomerang to destroy the energy balls. However, before the boomerang could hit its target, the energy balls explode into more energy balls, zooming past the Crescent Boomerang and towards the Predazord.
Merrick: No way…
The Predazord is bombarded by the Death Trident blasts and falls over. Hydranoid gives a satisfied expression, believing that the fight was over. Alice starts to think they won as well, but hears something rumbling from below.
Hydranoid: Looks like he’s finally done for…
Alice: Not yet, something’s attacking from below.
Hydranoid looks down and sees a purple shark jumping up to hit him with its tail. The dragon falls to the ground but lands on his feet heavily reducing the potential damage.
Merrick: Hammerhead, you’re ok. Let’s combine!
The Predazord got up and detached the Giraffezord from itself and the Hammerhead Sharkzord took its place, returning the giant to its original form.
Merrick: This monster is strong, but we can't give up just yet. Wild Zords, lend me your strength!
The Wild Zords respond to Merrick’s call and send a beam of light that envelops him and the Predazord. The light gives the Predazord incredible power causing most of its body to turn blue and its eyes to turn green.
Merrick: Predazord Blue Moon!
With its new form, the Predazord ran towards its opponent. Hydranoid attempted to stop the giant by firing energy balls, but the Megazord simply powered through them. Once the Predazord got close, it kicked the dragon into the air and quickly threw a couple punches that almost sent Hydranoid over the horizon. Fortunately, Hydranoid spread his wings in time and stopped himself in midair. Alice also managed to survive by holding onto Hydranoid’s shoulder with all her might. When she recovered, Alice held up an Ability Card that she figured would turn the tides in her and Hydranoid’s favor.
Alice: Ability activate, Merge Shield!
Alice threw the Ability Card which circled Predazord and came back as a blue and purple cluster of energy. Hydranoid proceeded to devour the energy cluster with his three heads and suddenly felt a huge surge in power as he let out a mighty roar.
Hydranoid: You may be powerful, But it’s time I showed you What real power looks like!
Hydranoid flies towards its opponent at high speeds and the Predazord throws another powerful punch. The two attacks collide with incredible intensity, but that doesn't stop the two from continuously clashing with each other. The Predazord throws punch after punch while Hydranoid flies out of the way of each attack and counters with more energy blasts only for the Predazord to block them. This continues for some time until the Predazord strikes with both fists, powering through Hyrdranoid’s energy blasts and sending him far away enough that the Megazord has enough time to prepare its final attack.
Merrick: Alright let’s finish this…
The Alligator head on the Predazord’s chest lifts up and opens its mouth, it then starts charging up energy in its mouth, implying that it is going to fire a blast with all its might.
Alice: This ends here! Ability activate, Death Trident!
Hydranoid fires another trio of energy balls to stop the Predazord before it finishes charging its attack, but it is too late as the giant had reached maximum power and was ready to fire.
Merrick: Blue Moon Wave!
The Predazord unleashes a massive energy blast from it’s chest that heads towards Hydranoid. It effortlessly tears through the Death Trident and threatens to obliterate both Alice and Hydranoid, but the duo stands strong as Alice holds up an Ability Card that looks different from the others.
Alice: We’re not done yet. Fusion Ability activate…
Alice & Hydranoid: Final Demolition!
Hydranoid fires one last round of energy balls, but this time they merge together to form a powerful energy blast. The two blasts meet each other and despite Hydranoid’s blast being smaller than the Predazord’s, the attacks still push against each other with equal force. The struggle does not last long as Hydranoid’s blast overpowers the Predazord’s blast and splits it in half.
Merrick: This can’t be…
Final Demolition keeps tearing through the Blue Moon Wave until it reaches the Predazord and pierces through it’s chest leaving a giant hole where the Alligator head and Merrick used to be. The Predazord then starts sparking electricity and falls to the ground before exploding leaving it down for the count… permanently. Hydranoid celebrated his victory by letting out a roar and a final remark.
Hydranoid: Now that Is real power.
Alice looks up at Hydranoid and nods with a smile on her face.
Alice: You did great Hydranoid.
K.O!
Hydranoid flies Alice to another cliff where the girl jumps down to safety. The dragon then reverts back into his ball form and flies back into Alice’s hand. Meanwhile, where the Predazord once stood, Merrick’s morpher, the Lunar Caller, is seen lying on the ground. The Predazord’s Animal Crystals land next to the morpher but immediately shatter due to the destruction of the Wild Zords. Without the Animal Crystals, the Lunar Caller loses its power and disappears into nothingness.

Boomstick: And there goes another Megazord. The Rangers really need to get a warranty on those things.
Wiz: This was an interesting matchup to say the least. Given the Predazord’s superior strength and much, MUCH greater size it seemed like an easy win for the Megazord on paper, but size is far from the deciding factor in any fight.
Boomstick: Yeah, that Armadillozord wasn’t any bigger than Hydranoid and if he could take down the Predazord, I’m sure the dark dragon could do the same. Plus, with Hydranoid’s aerial maneuverability and long-ranged arsenal, the Predazord was going to have a real tough time getting a decent hit in.
Wiz: And Alice is a much better tactician than Merrick. After all, Masquerade was skilled enough to become the top Bakugan player in the world and he and Alice are the same person.
Boomstick: Sure, Merrick had a lot of skill and experience, but he’s never fought anyone as smart as Alice or as versatile as Hydranoid. Of course, if Hydranoid really wanted to win this, he needed to best the Predazord in raw power.
Wiz: While the Predazord’s full potential isn’t clear, we can highball its power and scale the Blue Moon mode to Master Org since it drew power from all the Wild Zords whose combined efforts were enough to destroy the big bad. since Master Org was strong enough to knock a small island out of the air, it's reasonable to assume the Predazord could do the same.
Boomstick: That’s pretty strong, especially for a Megazord, but remember that snake-monster Exedra? He could take one-sixth of the planet Vestroia and turn it into another world. That takes a lot more power than sinking an island, yet Hydranoid still beat Exedra in a weaker form meaning he is a lot stronger than the Legendary Soldier.
Wiz: Also since he fought Ultimate Dragonoid, his virtual equal, Hydranoid proved he can tank as much as he dishes out. With all that in mind, Hydranoid’s raw power and endurance were more than enough to outclass the Predazord. Though Merrick and his Megazord did put up a good fight, Alice’s brain and Hydranoid’s brawn clearly made them the deadlier duo.
Boomstick: This fight got so “Wild” that it “Forced” the Predazord into submission.
Wiz: The winner is Hydranoid.
