History[]
Helena Rosa Bertinelli, secretly known as the vigilante the Huntress, is the granddaughter of Gotham's sicilian crime boss Frank Bertinelli. As a result of being a targeted before of her familial ties, losing her mother Maria at age eight, Helena was sent to a boarding school while taught to defend herself by her cousin Sal. But she eventually learns the truth that her mother was murdered because she has an affair with a rival crime boss Santo Cassamento: Helena's biological father. Following this revelation, after her lover Michael Staton was murdered, Helena disappeared for five years before resurfacing to use her skills to take down the Bertinelli family. Though Batman and Green Arrow attempted to save Helena from herself by showing her revenge is not the same as justice, she instead uses their teaching to mount a war against the mob as the vigilante Huntress.

Trained under her cousin Sal to be a very formidable hand-to-hand combatant, Huntress is an unpredictable fighter at top physical condition. Her fighting style uses a variety of grappling moves, able to snap a man's neck and has demonstrated very good reflexes. She is skilled with crossbows, firearms, and sticks. She is also very intuitive, repeatedly anticipating her enemy's plans and deceive with miss directions.
