Homelander, real name John Gillman, is the main villain of the comic book series, The Boys. He previously fought Omni-Man in the 160th episode of DEATH BATTLE!, Omni-Man VS Homelander.

Born John in a Vought laboratory, the boy who would be known as Homelander began to realize his superpowers when he crushed a Vought scientist with his inhuman strength. Growing up under severe mental and emotional abuse has broken John in a plan to mold him into the most powerful asset Vought would ever create.

To the public, he is Homelander, the adored and loved American super-patriot that was willing to serve for the country he dearly represents the most. In actuality, Homelander is a sadistic, mentally broken and self-benefitting megalomaniac that lived to serve Vought's interests and represent the company for what it stands for; a worldwide pharmacy company eager to sell Compound V, a superpowered serum capable of turning anyone into superhumans, with ill results for adults and beneficial success to children.
