Atom Fan Art

Atom

Wiz: The year was 2020, this whole event took place in 2011, just the heads up. The world had remained pretty much the same, with the expectation of one minor detail.

Boomstick: Human boxers had been replaced by large fighting robots, like a life action Rockom Socko Robots, only far deadlier and more violent.

Real Steel Midas vs Noisy Boy

Real Steel

Wiz: Charlie Kenton used to be a pro human boxer in his prime, and was known as the 2nd best boxer in the world. However, with the inventions of robot boxers, Charlie lost this fame and title and resorted to life of gambling and underground Robot Boxing

Boomstick: Unfortunately, Charlie was on a huge loosing spree, having lost this first robot to raging bull, and then gambled the money he used to buy his long-lost son Max from his grandparents to buy another robot named Noisy Boy. Okay serious who names these robots anyway, Noisy Boy, Ambush, these names are so epically lame.

Wiz: After Noisy Boy was ultimately destroyed during an underground fight he was completely unprepared for, Charlie had officially hit rock bottom. With his luck running out and his ex-girlfriend’s family gun on line, he refused to give up, but he needed a new robot and fast.

Boomstick: So he and Max broke into a junkyard to salvage some spare parts to create a new robot from scratch. Why would he bring a kid to a robbery, not the best move for a first time parent.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqSKk_ymsCQ

Wiz: After Max fell off a hill and got snagged on a robot arm, he discovered that it was an entire robot buried under the dirt.

Boomstick: So little Max spent the entire night digging the old robot out of the dirt and carried it all the way back to Charlie’s car using a cart lying around. Now that’s determination if I ever say it.

Charlie, Atom, and Max

Wiz: Later on, Max cleaned off the seven foot and six-hundred-pound robot and discovered his real name, Atom. After lots of begging from his son, Charlie agreed to take Atom to compete in an underground fight. Hey what else was he going to do with it, let it go to waste.

Boomstick: Although it didn’t go well at first, Atom did end up winning the match by sheer dumb luck and won a whopping $2,000. To make matters better, a bystander invited the two to another fight, and Atom eventually went on a winning streak. Now I’ve become inspired to compete in this tournament with my own robot I built from an old vending machine.

Wiz: Yeah, that wouldn’t last one round against a robot such as Atom, or any other robot for that matter.

https://youtu.be/FnzBhGWgtDA?si=0LMfIjzfOYab0r_q

Boomstick: That’s your opinion. After defeating other robots such as Black Top, Six Shooter and more, Charlie, Max and Atom finally got invited to an official WRB fight to compete with the big leagues.

Wiz: Atom is a Generation: 2 Sparring robot. Although his main purpose was to serve as a practice dummy for multiple tougher fighting robots and not meant to dish out any real punishment, it proofed to be an advantage against his larger opponents. Surprisingly, he also possessed a Shadow function that allowed him to mimic the movement of people around him.

Boomstick: Thanks to Atom's design as a sparring robot, he is arguably the most durable bot to compete in tournaments, able to take several hits from heavy hitters like the double headed Twin City and the all-powerful Zeus, and still get back up and fight back.

Real Steel Atom vs Zeus

Atom vs Zeus

Wiz: Fortunately for Atom, Charlie Kenton trained the sparring bot to use his small size to his advantage by punching up and using his speed to war down his opponent. His main form of attacks are right hooks to the head and body, and using an powerful uppercut to finish the match.

https://youtu.be/FcF1RgfI0H8?si=p1igfWnsuINyCNpv

Boomstick: He fights his opponents by finding and exploiting their weaknesses and looking for openings he can take advantage off. Then he’ll start using all his stored-up energy to pound them into the ground or until they collapse.

Wiz: Although Atom may have been a Generation 2 robot in the begin, he’s received some serious upgrades throughout the film thanks to Max’s tinkering. He could now perform offensive jabs and crosses and well as defensive bob, weaves, and blocks.

Boomstick: For a 12-year-old kid, he sure is smart. He added a G2 remote controller salvaged from Ambush for controlling his movements, then a voice recognition system salvaged from Noisy Boy to help Atom perform certain moves via voice activation in his pre-programed system. You think he can help me reprogram my Cyber Goose?

Wiz: Some of Atom’s programed moves include his Jumping Straight where he jumps in the air to land a powerful jab, Rolling Uppercut where he charges up his fist to deliver a devastating attack, and Double Uppercut where he punches an opponent with both his fist at the same time to name a few.

Real Steel Game Ambush vs Atom

Ambush vs Atom

Boomstick: Then there is his Charlie Special where he backs his enemy in the corner to lay out a barrage of punches and Dancing Body Blow Combo where he uses various dance moves taught by Max to use in multiple combo attacks. Don’t question the names, they are all from the Real Steel game, so no one really knows who came up with these names in the first place.

Wiz: During Atom’s first World Robot Boxing fight, he faced the fighter known as Twin City, a highly advanced fighting robot with two heads. Despite his opponent's superior technology, Atom won yet again, and Max challenged Zeus to a fight.

Boomstick: A little reckless on their part, but after a few emotional roller-coaster scenes, Charlie and Max decided to go through with the fight, and if they were going to go down, they were going to go down swinging.

https://youtu.be/ZVCNc09cUkc?si=eqZTcK3fKmV1cUrZ

Wiz: At the beginning of the fight, despite suffering an initial disadvantage due to Zeus’s size, strength, and fighting prowess, Atom managed, round after round, to effectively fight back and avoid getting knocked out.

Boomstick: However, at the end of Round 4, Zeus damaged Atom's vocal control beyond repair. Unwilling to let this be their downfall, Max convinced his father to use Atom’s Shadow Mode, allowing Atom to use the moves of whoever controlled him, this being Charlie.

Charlie watches Atom

Watch Me

Wiz: Thanks to Charlies history as a pro-boxer, Atom could now copy all of Charlie’s Boxing styles and techniques, including the four main categories of Boxing: pressure fighters, out-boxer, brawler, and boxer-puncher

Boomstick: Now that is thinking outside of the boxing ring. At the start of the final Round, Charlie willingly puts himself on the defensive and let himself get beaten up by Zeus, but once the latter runs out of energy, he easily turns on the tables and even managed to knock down the King of the Robots.

Wiz: Leaving everyone stunned and amazed to see this underdog from out of nowhere take down the Top Dog of the pack.

Boomstick: Okay, immediately after this fight is over, I’m making my own fighting robot out of Dummi to enter into the next fight. I’m going to call it the Boom Sticker.

Dummi: Don’t…Even…Think About it.

https://youtu.be/NHofBpqR4rw?si=Gbj_NO_Nb57evysX

https://youtu.be/-tuWN053SlQ?si=B4_dM62_YYGGaLKr

Wiz: Ugh. Unfortunately, Atom’s fighting style is mainly pre-programed moves, which can be easily intercepted by a more clever opponent since they don’t’ change. Not mention, it’s not said what type of metal each robot is made of, but they are capable of being damaged and broken with the right amount of force.

Charlie trains Atom

Training Session

Boomstick: If we had to hazard a guess, we’d assume that Atom is made of out aluminium and chrome steel, you know the same stuff made from chains made to hold up King Kong, but we all know how those worked out.

Wiz: Titanium has a tensile strength of 50,000 psi and is 40% denser than aluminium, making one of the strongest metals in the world. Since Atom need to take many beatings and require little few repairs, it is no surprise these metals were used to make him. And it looks like his fist are made of bronze metal too.

https://youtu.be/k1CVRO-q5rA?si=b19Ru02lIijvk27_

https://youtu.be/r6baIfSqXKA?si=cYFBDM0OlEHYSqHO

Boomstick: Despite that flaw, his shadow boxing feature and the ability to create new combos via basic commands can compensate for said weaknesses.

Wiz: The Shadow function will only work if there is someone close to him for him to copy.

Boomstick: Don’t be a buzz kill Wiz. Plus, each robot has its own medic on their team to help repair most damages they have received throughout the fight to keep them in fighting shape.

Wiz: Yet, after the bell rings and Zeus still remained standing, the judges voted for a close victory for the latter. Yet Atom was the moral winner of the match in everyone’s eyes, and he was nominated the title of People's Champion.

Boomstick: Looks like in the end, Atom and Charlie both became the winners they were born and created to be.

Announcer's Quote: "Hailing from parts unknown, it's the People's Champion! Here's... Atom!

Hitmonchan packs a serious punch for Death Battle[]

Invicible Pokemon Brothers Hitmonchan

Hitmonchan

Wiz: Say you are a Pokemon trainer strolling down sunny streets of Saffron City. On your way to your next gym you come across the former Pokemon Gym known as the the Fighting Dojo.

Boomstick: True to its name, the Fighting Dojo hosts Trainers who specialize in Fighting-type Pokémon. After defeating Four Black Belts and their Karate Master, in a kung fu style brawl to the finish, the trainer gains the option to choose between two different Pokemon specializing in different forms of martial arts.

Wiz: For those who wish to have a Pokemon that can kick the crap out of the most harden trainers, they can go with Hitmonlee

https://youtu.be/CF6RVwxJoNo?si=X1aNbZiJIBgvC5GR

Boomstick: But if you are looking for a Pokemon that pack a serious punch, and I do mean that literally, than go with the Punching Pokémon, Hitmonchan.

Pokemon Origins Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan

Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan?

Wiz: Hitmonchan isn’t your average boxer, despite it trying to hide being a Jackie Chan knockoff. Standing in at 4 feet 7inches and weighing 110 lbs.

Boomstick: Yeah, he’s a bit smaller than your average powerhouse boxer.

Wiz: But, where he really shines is his attack and punching speed. As directly stated in the Pokedex, Hitmonchan is capable of punching through concrete with ease, and can punch faster than a speeding bullet train!

Boomstick: Well then, holy shit.

https://youtu.be/-NxvnN0HAd0?si=PrB_gzwzYRTKRbjl

Wiz: If you think that is cool, just wait till you see his move set. Bullet Punch and Mach Punch allow for it to attack at high speeds, and can reflect damage back to opponents with Counter, with the damage taken doubled as a bonus. It can also use Focus Energy, where the user takes a deep breath and focuses to raise its critical-hit ratio.

HitmonchanPunches

Bruno with his Hitmonchan

Boomstick: He also has Comet Punch, a flurry of punches which hits two to five times in a row. He also has Vacuum Wave, where Hitmonchan whirls his fists to send a wave of pure vacuum.

Wiz: But it’s low damage combined with Hitmonchan’s weak Special Attack doesn’t make it the most preferred move to use in a fight. It also possess the Iron Fist and Keen Eye Abilities, which increases the damage done by any punch move by 20% and prevents other Pokémon from lowering this Pokémon's accuracy.

Boomstick: And if you think he is all brawn and no brain, think again. Hitmonchan is capable of infusing his punches with elemental powers, creating Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, and Fire Punch. I wish I could do that. All I have is normal punch.

Wiz: Which kind of feels like you are being hit by a girl.

Boomstick: Say that again Wiz, and I’ll point you, I’ll laugh at you, and then I’m gonna punch ya in the gut.

Wiz: No surprise there, you do that already.

https://youtu.be/GZoM7MLOngc?si=ev1QxbD_ehzH2AbH

Boomstick: But even then, none of those compare to Hitmonchan's two deadliest moves, Close Combat and Focus Punch.

Hitmonchan charges up an Attack

using Mach Punch

Wiz: With Focus Punch, the user...well...focuses, all their power into their fist and punches them with their full power. And with Close Combat her unleashes a flurry of quick and powerful punches, meant to obliterate foes.

Boomstick: Damn! Why is this thing almost never used? Look at all this! It's awesome!

Wiz: The Hitmonchan is by far one of the most popular Fighting Type Pokemons in the franchise. The species have become a favorite amongst Gym Leaders like Bea and Elite Four members such as Bruno.

Boomstick: Makes sense. They can go head-to-head with a ton of crazy strong Pocket Monsters. And who wouldn't want someone as rough and tough as a Hitmonchan at their side?

Wiz: In the Anime series, one Hitmonchan trained Ash's Pikachu to become a more offensive fighter and defeated a Machamp during a Fighting type Pokemon training tornument.

Boomstick: Too bad it lost to a Hitmonlee in the semi-finals, but that's mainly because it was stolen by those knuckleheads Team Rocket, and it's match was sabotaged by them as well. Don't worry, they ended up getting blasted off into the sky like they always do.

Wiz: In the manga series, Bruno's Hitmonchan took on Red's Poliwrath, whom was defeated thanks to Bruno cloaking his Thunder Punch moves ithe same time he was using Fire Punch and taking serious damage from the Poliwrath's Double Slap.

Boomstick: Not only is Hitmonchan a powerful Pokémon, it's always followed by some serious trainers that train them so well they can disguise their own moves to syce out their opponents. METAL!!!

https://youtu.be/XGlwb7h7ufM?si=oxFcribbrdaYv_Wz

Wiz: It can increase his speed with Agility, or just evade any and all attacks with Detect. Despite it’s chance to fail rising if it’s used in succession

Boomstick: It’s basically a two sided coin when it comes move successfulness.

Wiz: In the manga series, Crystal’s Hitmonchan, Monlee, shredded though a Razore Leaf attack from a Chikorita, and even battle the legendary Pokemons Suicune and Registeel.

Hitmonchan's training

Army of Hitmonchans

Boomstick: Since Crystal is a highly skilled Pokemon catcher, she has used her Hitmonchan multiple times to capture even the toughest of Pokemon.

Wiz: Several Hitmonchan have appeared in the anime series, each one proving to be a formidable opponent thanks to their trainer coordination.

Boomstick: Even newbie Pokemon catcher Goh added a Hitmonchan to his ever growing arsenal of Pokemon, occasional call on it to deal with some of his more challenging missions.

Wiz: But, not every Hitmonchan has great defense any way and is not always the best Fighting type out there. One Hitmonchan was knocked out simply by being run into by Pikachu and Raichu in Pikachu's Vacation. It is a very hard Pokemon to pin down the exact talent of.

https://youtu.be/qNH3vv536lc?si=LL9tJpQj4NBaWiS-

Boomstick: And like all Fighting Type Pokemon, Hitmonchan can fall prey to agile Flying Pokémon, cerebral Psychic-types, and mystical Fairies.

Hitmonchan vs Grimmer

Hitmonchan vs Grimmer

Wiz: This is backed up by no science, whatsoever, and makes absolutely no goddamn sense!

Boomstick: It’s Pokemon Lore Wiz, don’t question it.

Wiz: The Hitmonchan is an extremely tough Pokémon that will give any opponent a run for their money. After all, like a Fight Types, they crave a good and challenging fight.

Boomstick: Even if the odds are not in their favor, if it’s a fight you want, Hitmonchan will give you a good one.

Pokédex: Hitmonchan, the Punching Pokémon. Hitmonchan specializes in punch attacks. Its moves are faster than the eye.

Atom vs Hitmonchan setup

Wiz: all right the combatants are set, lets end this debate once and for all.

Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SSB Boxing Ring

In a large stadium, the crowd watches in awe as the two contestants are introduced and brought into their respective corners.

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing our first fighter, He may be small for his size but he went from a nobody into a champion, He’s  ATOOOOOOOOM!!

The crowd cheers for Atom as he dances into the arena with Max in front of him and Charlie behind him.

Charlie: Eyes on the prize kid, this is the big one.

Max: Don’t worry dad, Atom’s got this, right buddy (the two fist bump each other).

The cheers for him grow louder as he approaches the ring. He stands in his corner and stares intensely at the Red Corner, still vacant.

Announcer: And now for his challenger in the Red Corner, our a heavyweight contender from the world of Kanto, here to defend his title from all Fighting Types..He’s HITMONCHAAAAAAAAN!

The crowd cheers for Hitmonchan and applause is heard all around. Hitmonchan enters the arena as the lights center on him. The crowd begins to stomp and cheer as he makes his way into the ring. His trainer pats him on the shoulders.

Trainer: You’ve got his Pal. We’ve faced worse fighters than this. Let’s show him what we’ve got!

Hitmonchan: Hitmonchan.

Announcer: The eyes of the world are on the ring today. Will the legendary Atom defend his title, or will The Punching Pokémon bring the pain to the ring? That's the question on everybody's mind. "DING" And there goes...The bell and Fight!

FIGHT!

Round 1[]

The bell rang and the referee signals the beginning of the match and Hitmonchan immediately charges forward. Charlie orders Atom to throw out a jab at the Pokemon. Hitmonchan weaves under the jab and rises with a left hook. Atom ducks under the hook and throws a right hook at Htimonchan’s body. Hitmonchan leaps backwards to dodge the attack, and Atom is commanded to step forward and throws a right straight at Hitmonchan head. The Pokemon slips past this and quickly jabs. Atom steps backwards and bumps into the ropes of the ring. Atom and Hitmonchan stare at each other and slowly circle around each other, staring at each other intensely.

Trainer: Hitmonchan use Fire Punch

The Punching Pokémon charges up its fist first, before coming at Atom first with his right fist engulfed in flames. Atom also stepped forward entering the fight as well, but instead of throwing a punch right away, the robot remains vigilant of what his opponent could possibly do against him.

Charlie: Get ready to counter Atom.

Hitmonchan charges in with a Fire Punch, though Atom simply sidesteps the punch and delivered his own punch right to Hitmonchan's side, knocking him to the floor of the ring. But instead of further punching, Atom pulls back and allows Hitmonchan to get back up.

Trainer: He's not taking an offensive approach, now use Thunder Punch

Hitmonchan goes for a Thunder Punch uppercut, but Atom programming allows him to evade by tucking his back far enough to avoid Htimonchan's Thunder punch. However, before Atom can counterpunch, Hitmonchan quickly follows his Thunder Punch with a series of rapid Punches with Close Combat on Atom's steel chest. The attack was unexpected, but Atom stands firm and is able to endure the punches before delivering a right hook of his own to knock back the Pokémon.

Annocner: We've only gone less than a minute into this fight and we've already got some good moves. This is going to be good.

The audience erupts in a massive roar, cheering for the fighters as the match continues on. Charlie then puts on his microphone head peace and starts talking to Atom

Charlie: Can't underestimate this guy Atom, time to start getting serious.

Atom nods as he ducks back for a moment to avoid Hitmonchan's incoming attack. The robot then dashes towards the Pokemon, before jumping into the air with his extended out to deliver his special techniques, "Jumping Straight ", landing a powerful blow to Hitmochan's face and sending him straight into the ring floor. As Hitmonchan get back on his feet, Atom rushes forward and landed several fast-paced punches on the Pokemon, with the last one being a Double Uppercut that launches Hitmonchan into the air.

Max: Alright Atom.

Charlie: That's it.

The audience gasp in surprise as the Pokemon flies several feet into the air.

Trainer: Hitmonchan, WAKE UP!!!!

Hitmonchan managed to regain consciousness as he descends back to the ground and makes sure he lands on his feet when he lands. Hitmonchan then runs at Atom, and jumps forward off the ground, swinging his arm out at Atom, striking his upper chest with an Ice Punch attack, knocking Atom onto the ground as Hitmonchan lands away from Atom near the ropes of the ring.

Announcer: Wow, Folks! That Ice Punch striked like a ton of bricks! I'm sure Atom is going to feel that one in the morning.

Charlie: Get up Atom, before he ref starts counting.

Referee: One... Two... Three... Four...

Atom quickly gets back up as the ref starts counting and dashed at Hitmonchan, throwing out a punch, striking Hitmonchan directly. Before Hitmonchan can recover from the blow, Atom suddenly drew his metal body back, as he spins his arm around, charging it up to deliver a fast-pase Rolling uppercut, plunging it straight at Hitmonchan. While Hitmonchan attempts to block the attack with his gloves, the punch not only goes right through them and hits him, but it sends him flying back into the corner of the ring and leaves him vulnerable to follow-up attack.

Charlie: That's it, he’s a sitting duck, now let him have it.

Atom dashes over to the corner and starts beating Hitmonchan to a pulp with a rapid set of punches, but as he charges a strong blow, Hitmonchan rolls out of the corner.

Charlie: Atom quick, turn around

Trainer: Quick Hitmoncah, uses Comet Punch

Charlie orders Atom to turn around; when he does, he is shocked to see The Pokémon running to him before punching him with his shiny fist into the corner.

Announcer: Whoa, whoa, wait a minute! Did Hitmonchsn just turn this fight in his favor?

Trainer: Use Close Combat

Hitmonchan starts punching Atom repeatedly in his head, legs and then chest. Atom releases his another deadly Rolling uppercut, to which Hitmonchsn dodges, making the robot champion's fist hit the ground. The punching Pokémon, seeing his chance, then jumps into the air, and punches Atom hard with a solid Mach Punch making him collapse to the ground.

Announcer: INCREDIBLE! ATOM FALLS TO THR GROUND FOR A SECOND TIME.

Max: Get Up Atom, you can do it.

As the referee starts counting, Atom places his fist on the ground and pushes himself off the ground. The two both boxers get in fighting stances and walk to the center, ready to engage again, but the bell rings and the referee holds his arms out, stopping them in their tracks.

Announcer: That's the bell, ending Round 1! Time for our two brawlers to relax and take a breather.

The two sit in opposing corners of the ring, as their trainers and handlers come to their aid. The trainer use different Potions on Hitmonchan to restore his health, while Charlie and Max start working on Atom, repairing his damaged body.

Announcer: Moving into Round 2! Let’s get this party started up again.

Round 2[]

The bell rang a second time, the referee gives the signal to begin the second round, and the two boxers walk back to the center of the ring to resume their battle.

Charlie: Uses your Dance Combos Atom.

Trainer: Intercept it with Fire Punch

Hitmonchan starts out by throwing out a fiery left hook, but Atom weaves to the left, avoiding the punch entirely, with a free window of opportunity. Atom uses his dance moves to allow him avoid the Pokémon advances and lands a series of punches on Atom’s chest and one punch on his face and making him fall to the ground.

Trainer: Get up Hitmonchan, Get up.

Referee: One... Two... Three...

Hitmonchan is able to get to his knees and pull himself up before the referee gets to 4. Hitmonchan goes in for a few punches, but Atom stands his ground, blocking the punches. The robot champion goes in for a few himself, but they go over Hitmonchan. The Punching Pokémon then goes to his opposite side, landing a few blows on him. Atom goes in for a left hook, but Hitmonchan dodges before punching the robot in the chest. But Atom stands firm as his metal plating takes the hit and pushes the Pokémon back.

Charlie: Atta Boy Atom, way to take a hit.

Trainer: Wow he's tough. But we are better. Hitmonchan, use our Hot and Cold combo.

Hitmonchan throws a series of Fire and Ice punches at Atom. The robot manages to evade most of them without trouble, and for his efforts, Atom manages to land a swift blow to Hitmonchan's side. Atom then put his fists up and he waves his right fist at the Pokemon in a taunting move, as if he was allowing him to take the free hit.

Max: That's It, Go on, then, give it your best shot.

Hitmonchan figured this was a free opportunity for him to charges up a Comet Punch to land a solid hit on Atom.

Trainer: Wait Hitmochan, don't, it's a trap.

But it's too late, and Hitmonchan already finishes charging his punch and launches himself straight at the robot champion. But to Hitmonchan's surprise, as he throws out the punch, Atom's head titles back far, and Hitmonchan is met with a straight punch from Atom's left. Though fighters end up getting hit, but Atom manages to stand on his feet while Hitmonchan falls to the floor.

Trainer: No, Hitmonchan.

But the Pokemon quickly gets back up, but keeps his distance from from the Robot. Atom advances forward to taunt Hitmonchan to attack him, but the Pokemon does not fall for the same trick again.

Trainer: Use Focus Punch

Htimonchan's fist then glowed with blue energy, covering his glove in a fist of blue energy. Hitmonchan lashs forward, like a rocket, aiming straight at Atom. However, Atom casually sidestepped the Focus Punch, and because it was a charged attack, Hitmonchan has no choice but to let the attack launch him straight at the roping of the ring.

Though luckily for Hitmochan, he is able to use the roping as a means of redirection. His Focus Punch stretches the roping, but the force of which not only turns Hitmonchan around, but redirects him right back at Atom, who neither him or trainer Charlie was not expecting the ability to work altogether, and receives a solid punch in the face, knocking him into the air and down onto the ground with a thud that shakes the ring.

Referee: One... Two... Three... Four..."

Max: Come Atom, you can beat him.

And with that, Atom was up on his feet before the fifth number was uttered.

Trainer: Wow, he’s got some willpower buddy.

Upon getting back up, Atom dashed forward and threw a couple of punches, attempting to use another successful Jump Straight. But Hitmonchan ducks under the hit, and with a well-timed counter, uses Vacuum Wave to catch Atom off guard and knock him into the air with a blast of energy. However, Atom manages to recover while in the air, and he then flips upside-down and dives fist-first straight down, striking Hitmonchan and knocking him onto the ground.

Referee: One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six..

With all his strength, Hitmonchan manages to get back up. Before he can advance forward, the second round's bell rings.

Announcer: And what a great Round 2 that was! Both these fighters have taken some serious damage and both have gone down but they definitely don’t seem like staying there. But who will be able to score that final K.O.! at the end of the day? We'll find out?

Back by the ring, Atom is being repaired by Charlie and Max. Wanting to win the next round, Max activates Atom’s Shadow function and pairs him with Charlie.

Max: Okay, ready to wrap this up dad?

Charlie: You bet, right Atom.

Charlies nods and Atom copies his movements. Charlie takes breather while gathering himself before Atom stands up to face Hitmonchan in the final round began.

Final Round/Round 3[]

As the bell rings for the final round to began, the robot champion and the Punching Pokémon steps forward from their corners, while the trainer notices Atom following Charlie’s moments.

Trainer: I don’t know what tricks you are playing, but we are ending this now.

Charlie wipes his face and Atom copes his movements.

Charlie: Bring it on, rookie!

Hitmonchan attempts a Comet Punch, charging straight forward, while Charlie rolls on the floor, making Atom tumbles and grabs Hitmonchan, slams him into the ground, and knocks him down from the air using a Jumping Punch. Hitmonchan gets up and launches a Superman punch forward and lands a couple of blows. Atom tries landing heavy hits, but Hitmonchan keeps his distance and evades the attacks to land his own. Both prepare to land a heavy punch, but Atom gets the upper hand by sweeping Htimonchan off of his feet and landing a Double Uppercut. He tries stomping on Hitmonchan, but the Pokemon avoids it by rolling to the side and gets up.

Trainer: Wow he is Good.

Max: He's not just good he's the best.

Trainer: Not for long, use Fire Punch

Hitmonchan then punches Atom in the gut that sends the robot into the air, then he follows up jumping and delivering another Fire Punch that sends him slamming to the ground. Atom copies Charlies movements and rolls over to dodge the incoming punch from Htimochan before jumping up and striking at the Pokemon with a Jump Straight Punch staggering Hitmochanc slightly. But Hitmonchan recovers quickly and charges at Atom, punching him in the chest twice before trying to grab the robot again.

Charlie: Not this time.

However Atom and Charlie are too fast for him and sidestipe out of the way before Atom strikes at Hitmonchan with his metal shoulder and countering with multiple punches to the face. Htimonchan recovers again and uses his Vaccum Wave to blast Atom in the face and damaging his arm, making it look mangled but still able to fight with it. Atom tries to do a Superman Punch, but the Pokemon dodges the attack and punches a vulnerable Atom in the neck. Surprised by this attack, Charlie and Atom back away swiftly to put some distance between the robot and the Pokemon. This allows Atom to intercept Hitmochan's punches before striking back at him in the head with his own blows, knocking him back to the ropes and giving the Pokemon a black eye.

Trainer: Hitmochan, use Thunder Punch one more time!

Max: You Gotta strike back, Atom!

The two boxers charge at each other and clash with their gloves and metal hands, causing them both to go flying back to the opposite sides pf the ring and send a shockwave across the stadium. Htimochan charges up his Focus Punch and charges at the robot, and Atom relaties with with his own spinning punch before dashing at the Pokemon. But Charlies wanted this to happen, and makes Atom fakes the Pokemon out to avoid his punch by sidestepping at the last moment. Taking advantage of his vulnerability, Atom unleash the Charlie Special and begins unleashing a barrage of punches and forces Hitmonchan into the corner of the ring, forcing the Pokemon into a defensive position. But the punches are too fast for the Pokemon and before he can fight back, Atom unleahs his Double Uppercut right under Hitmonchan's chin, launching him in the air and landing on the ground motionless. Atom lifts his fist into the air as Charlie, Max, and the audience cheer in at their victory.

Announcer: I-I can't believe it! Hitmochan's down! This could be over!

Trainer: Come On Hitmonchan, gets up and and use Agility and Focus Energy.

As the referee comes over and begins to count, Hitmonchan musters his strength and his body begins to glow as it breath in and takes in air and energy within its body. Max and Charlie’s cheerful expressions turn to surprised ones as they see an orange aura form around Hitmochan before leaps up back up ant lightning speed.

Charlie: WHAT.. THE HECK?!!

Trainer: That’s it, now use Bullet Punch.

Hitmonchan runs towards Atom and strikes him with his fists several times even faster than before. Atom tries to punch Hitmonchan, but his opponent is too fast for him and easily dodges the strikes, kicking at the robot champion and knocking him off balance.

Atom moves forward and tries to strike Hitmochan with his Rolling Uppercut punch, but Hitmonchan dodges it and punches Atom with an Ice Punch. However his opponent manages to strike him with the Double Uppercut, hitting him twice and knocking the Pokémon back.

Charlie: Ha, don’t count us out just yet.

Hitmonchan then dashes at Atom, kneeing him the face before he starts punching and kicking him rapidly all over his body; striking him in the face and chest the most as he continues punching and kicking Atom before charging up a punch and hitting the robot in the chest, sending his opponent flying.

Trainer: Ha, in your robotic face.

Atom lands with crash on the ground, his face and chest covered in dents and cracking with electricity. The robot tries to get up to fight Hitmonchan, but he has suffered too much damage to his body and has difficulty walking as he limbs to his opponent. Hitmonchan walks up towards the Robot, punching a hole right through Atom’s chest.

Trainer: Your done Punk! Use Focus Punch.

Hitmonchan’s fist glows blue with Energy and punches Atom in the head so hard that he punches his head strait off into the air and land next to Charlie and Max. Atom’s headless body falls to the ground as Hitmonchan raises his fists in the air as the crowd cheers for him. The Trainer the comes up into the ring and hugs his Pokémon.

Trainer: Way da go buddy, you’ll always be the champ!

As Trainer and Pokémon walk off the ring and head out of the stadium, the referee comes over and looks at the body of the robot.

Announcer: Holy Cow. That was one jaw breaking match, and I don’t think we are going need to do a count down.

Boomstick: Whoa-ho! It's just like Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots! Only one is a robot and... I don't think... his... head's... getting reattached...

Wiz: This was an extremely close bout. Both theses fighter have won fight that have made them worthy of the title champion, but only one fighter had more advantage over the other.

Boomstick: Especially since Hitmonchan’s much wider arsenal helped it adapt as the fight went on, unlike Atom’s limited options.

Wiz: And while their durability stats were admirable, Hitmonchan’s was the only one with stat-boosting abilities. But most of all, Hitmonchan was way more powerful.

Boomstick: It’s been proven in both the manga and the anime series that a punch from a Hitmonchan has more than enough to ware down and eventually break through what ever metal Atom is made out of. Eat that Dummi.

Dummi: Booooooooo!!!!!

Wiz: Ultimately, it was a well-matched battle, but Hitmonchan’s superior strength and arsenal gave it a much-needed edge.

Boomstick: Looks like Atom got “Hit” “on” the head by the “Chan”pion

Wiz: The Winner is Hitmonchan.

The winner is Hitmonchan
