Wiz: The Gods. Some used to love the humans and provide for them whereas some hated them and wanted to destroy them.
Boomstick: Like Hela, the Goddess of Death.
Wiz: And Ares, the God of War.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And its our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Wiz: Hela was the daughter of Loki.

Boomstick: That explains why she's evil.
Wiz: Then the Norns. the three Goddesses of Asgardian Fate told the Asgardian Gods that Hela will be a great danger to them.
Boomstick: And Odin, King of Asgard predicted that Hela would become the Goddess of Death and guess what, it became true.
Wiz: Hela wanted to bring Asgardian souls under her control, especially Odin and Thor.
Boomstick: But when Thor offered his soul in exchange of Lady Sif who was her prisoner, she became impressed and let them go. Not good at all. 2 out of 10!

Wiz: The abilities of a superhuman and as well as the Goddess of Death, which includess Superhuman Strength, Speed, Stamina, Durability and Immortality.
Boomstick: She can go toe to toe with Thor, lift upto a 100 tons and run upto 115 mph!
Wiz: Not only that, she also can regenerate, manipulate magic, project astrally and control the lives and deaths of Asgardians. And thanks to the Allspeak, she can spealk in any language.
Boomstick: She is a formidable hand to hand fighter as well. She even created the Cosmic Entity known as Infinity, killed Thor once but resurrected him after Lady Sif offered her life for his, began Ragnarok, made out with Thanos, cursed Thor, Restored Odin. Created Naglfar, corrupted the Valkriyes and did many other things as well. She even defeated Ares of the Marvel Universe.

Boomstick: What do you mean?
Wiz: Well, her true form is insignificantly weaker. Her right side is alive and healthy but her left side is completely dead and decayed. That's because she was born in this condition. In her true form, she won't be able to leave the Realm of the Dead and could barely walk.

Wiz: Ares was the son of Zeus and Hera's husband. But even though he was Zeus's son, he still didn't fit in Olympus and created and stayed in Areopagus, his own realm.

Boomstick: He hated the humans but also wanted them to worship him. He always created warfare among them but the Amazons swore to stop him and they did.
Wiz: Later, in modern times, he attacked them again, but he was stopped again but this time by Wonder Woman.
Boomstick: His plan was to fire nuclear missiles between the United States and Russia, causing World War 3.
Wiz: Then Wonder Woman, using her Lasso of Truth made him realize that this chaos, would lead to his own disappearance as there would be no one left to worship him.

Boomstick: Ares has Superhuman Strength, Speed and Stamina.
Wiz: He can manipulate darkness, travel from one dimension to another, reconstruct molecules, shape shift, can perform magic which includes Pyrokinesis, a flame spell which burns souls.
Boomstick: He can also alter his size, fly, project energy, distribute his powers among his followers and use Necromancy to control the dead. He's also invulnerable to pretty much anything.

Wiz: He's very skilled in martial arts as well.
Boomstick: His notable weaknesses are the loss of his worshippers and the Amulet of Harmonia.
Wiz: If he loses his worshippers, then he'll become weak and Harmonia is his daughter and that's why he's vulnerable to anyone who uses the Amulet of Harmonia. Even if it's a human.

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: Its time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!
Death Battle[]
The entire Earth is filled by war, chaos and destruction. All the Humans are dead, slayed by Ares and his army who are his worshippers. Even the Gods of Olympus lie dead and defeated. Even the Justice League, Amazonians and Atlanteans have fallen and Ares stands above them all, victorious.
The bodies of the Gods and Humans lies on the ground with blood on their bodies. Ares's army starts burning the Humans's bodies with fire. The smoke reaches far out in the sky. And because of that, the Moon is unable to be seen. Ares takes out his sword which was stabbed in the body of Wonder Woman. Ares speaks.
"I have conquered all! I, now, will cleanse the Earth from Humans along with everything else and start anew with myself as God!" Ares spoke with absolute anger and rage in his voice. Suddenly from the sky, through the clouds, the Bifrost falls on the ground.
Ares is astonished. Inside the Bifrost, he sees some people. As the Bifrost continues falling, the people inside it keeps increasing and increasing. Then just as how it came down, it disappears. And now on the ground stands Hela and her army. Hela looks around. She sees how Earth has changed. She is very amused it. "This is exactly how I wanted it to be." Said Hela happily. Hela looks around more and sees Ares approaching her. She approaches him too.
"Who are you?" Asked Ares. Hela prepared to answer. "I am Hela, the Goddess of Death!" Replied Hela with pride.
"I am Ares, God of War!" Ares began to say. "You will fall on my sword just like all the others have." Ares said so with a bit of rage. After a few seconds, Hela responds.
"You just proclaim youself as a God. But you don't neither look like one or act like one."
Ares feels humiliated after hearing this. He becomes more angry. "You are nothing to me!" Ares commented and continued speaking. "I have slayed Gods and Goddesses who were far more powerful than you." Hela laughs. "I am not like the others." Hela's face lit up with a smile.
Ares knows what to do and without a hesitation, he does it.
"I challenge you, Goddess of Death! Ares said with a voice filled with anger, rage and resentment. After a moment or so, Hela replies. "I accept your challenge!" Hela lets out a chuckle and gets prepared with her sword. "Very well." Ares said as he prepared himself.
FIGHT!
(Hela and Ares, both of them charge forward along with their armies. Hela and Ares start fighting each other with their swords. Both of them are very skilled and the sword fight goes on for many a moments. Hela, being more stronger and faster, gets the advantage and sends Ares's sword away.)
Ares: You are stronger than I expected.
Hela: You didn't expect a lot of things about me.
(Hela then uses her Nightsword and uses it along with her original sword to fight but Ares fights empty handed and since he stops underestimating Hela, he manages to outmaneuver her. Hela tries again to stab him but this time in the head with both of her swords much faster but Ares somehow, manages to stop the swords with his hands and then he breaks it.)
Hela: Impossible!
Ares: You have no idea about what is impossible and what is not.
(Then they both start fighting in hand to hand combat and neither one of them manages to overpower each other in it. Hela then uses her magic to fire deadly bolts which affects Ares a bit. Hela fires again but this time, Ares is prepared and fires an energy blast as well, causing a big explosion, killing a lot of both Hela's and Ares's army.)
Ares: You cannot harm me.
(Then suddenly Ares starts becoming weak. He looks around and sees that Hela's army is killing more of his, causing him to become weak.)
Hela: Looks like you are dying on your own.
(Ares starts becoming weak every moment and before he becomes further weak, he uses his Necromancy and Manipulation of Darkness to resurrect the dead. Hela sees this and becomes surprised. She then immediately goes forward and tries to kill Ares to stop him but by the time she does, Ares has already healed. Hela punches him but Ares blocks it.)
Ares: This is over.
(Ares then teleports him and Hela to Areopagus.)
Hela: What?
Ares: This is my realm, Areopagus! And here, you are nothing!
(Ares summons an enchanted weapon and uses it to stab Hela. Not only her body, the enchanted weapon goes through her cloak as well, cutting it and then Hela starts getting weaker every moment and gets closer to dying as well.)
Hela: No!
Ares: You are finished!
(Hela realizes that she is about to die and immediately uses Astral projection to escape.)
Hela: Pitiful!
Ares is aware that she used Astral projection and uses Pyrokinesis to burn her soul. Hela's soul screams of agonizing pain as it burns to death.)
K.O.!
Results[]
Boomstick: And there goes another painful death.
Wiz: Both Hela and Ares had quite a lot of similarities and powers but they just weren't equal. Like both of them could control the dead but Hela could only control the lives and deaths of Asgardians whereas Ares could control anyone's.

Boomstick: But hey, Hela defeated Ares of the Marvel Universe so why couldn't she defeat this Ares.
Wiz: Because DC's Ares is much much stronger and powerful than Marvel's Ares. He's a real God!
Boomstick: Oh, right! Both of them could perform magic but Ares's one was more advanced and he could use it to do almost anything. Hela had Superhuman Durability but Ares's Invulnerability was stronger than any type of durability. Be it super or not. He was invincible!
Wiz: And don't forget about their weaknesses. Hela's weakness was more exploitable than Ares's. Ares could have just cut her cape and ended the fight right over there but he just didn't know about that before. But it really didn't matter as he could kill her in other ways as well. Such as with an enchanted weapon as they are ENCHANTED and strong enough to kill Gods and Goddesses of any kind!
Boomstick: The only way Hela could have killed him was with the Amulet of Harmonia.
Wiz: Yes. She couldn't exactly kill him by killing off his worshippers as he could just bring them back using his power of Necromancy. So the Amulet was her only hope. But she didn't have anything similar to that in her arsenal.
Boomstick: She was definitely stronger and faster than Ares but the reason why she still couldn't defeat him was because of his invulnerability.
Wiz: Right.
Boomstick: Hela was tough, sure. But she wasn't tough enough to beat the God of War, Kratos I mean Ares!
Wiz: The winner is Ares.
