Death Battle Info[]

The strict and overprotective father of Adrien Agreste, Gabriel Argeste is a famous fashion designer from humble beginning who learned of the existence of the powerful Miraculouses along with his wife Emilie, the disowned heiress of the Graham de Vanily bloodline, and their bodyguard Natalie Scouer. After Emilie fell into a coma as a side effect of using the Peacock Miraculous years earlier to complete their family, Gabriel uses the Butterfly Miraculous to become "Hawk Moth" as a means to lure out the users of the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses by using akumatized-people to wreck havoc towards Paris. While his intention with the two Miraculouses is to revive Emilie, using their combined power would mean destroying the current reality to create a new one. While he acquired mostly all the Miraculouses, he loses the Rabbit Miraculous and is slowly dying as the result of an escape gambit by inflicting himself with Cat Noir's Catacylsm. As a result, now needing to save his own life while restoring Emilie and Natalie after the latter used the Peacock Miraculous multiple time, Gabriel fully intends to get the heroes' Miraculouses at any cost.

    • Burned every bridge to see his goal, alienated his aide and long-time friend Natalie and incriminated Mayor Bourgeois with altered footage. By the time of his death, he had his business partner Tsurugi as the closest thing to a friend.
