Background[]
(*Cue Millennium Falcon/Imperial Cruiser Pursuit*)
Boomstick: Corellia is home to many species of creatures among humans. It was also the home planet of voyagers before moving onto exploring the stars in space. One human stands out from the rest, the smuggler Han Solo.
Wiz: Han's early years are mostly a mystery. His father worked in the shipyards of the Engineering Corporation where he built vessels until he was laid off. Not much is said about his father, since according to Han, he was never close with him.
Boomstick: After a time, both of Han's parents passed and he turned to a life of crime with the criminal gang The White Worms. Seriously, what a bizarre name, that doesn't sound particularly intimidating at all. Fast forward a lot of time later and he asked to enlist in the Imperial Navy.
Wiz: Han explained he had no people in his family left, so he was given the new surname Solo. During his time of service, he went through flight school and became a skilled pilot. After a while, he came across a Wookiee by the name of Chewbacca and the two became friends and partners.
Boomstick: Later on, Han and his furry buddy came across Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker, who turned out to both be Jedi capable of wielding the Force which Han believed was nonsense. Despite his disbelief in the energy, he agreed to help Luke on his quest.
Wiz: Once the partners found out the plans for the Death Star and gave information to the Rebel Alliance followed by a plan to attack the Imperial outpost, Han rescued Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan and collected the reward. Later, Han, alongside Luke and Leia, was rewarded for his bravery and selflessness.

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, also known as the Mos Eisley Cantina, was packed as usual with customers, but also pilots, smugglers, and bounty hunters alike. The various customers ordered and were served food and beverages. One man, who was enjoying a drink, however, stood out from the rest in the way he dressed and somewhat in the way he looked: brown, spiked hair, a pair of sunglasses, a military vest, a long sleeve shirt, knee pads, military boots, and a pistol at his right hip. The Hollywood action star and martial artist, Johnny Cage.
Sitting across the cantina was a man with brown hair, wearing a white shirt, a black vest, a pair of blue pants, leather boots, and around his waist he wore a brown leather belt with a holster at the right side with his blaster. He was the smuggler Han Solo. Cage noticed Han sitting across from him and smugly smiled. He walked up to the pilot of the Millennium Falcon who noticed him.
"Wow, you look like someone I would play in one of my action movies. I might have to call my agent and tell him I'd like to portray you." Johnny said eagerly to Han. The smuggler had a look of shock and slight anger on his face, making Johnny think he didn't take too kindly to what he said. He got up from his seat, walked up to Johnny and approached him.
"I don't take too kindly to impersonation or anybody who claims they can be me, pal. I think you're asking for trouble and you should be silenced." Solo said with a no-nonsense tone in his voice.
"I doubt you know who I am. Prepare for a beatdown!" Johnny Cage replied with a confident tone.
FIGHT!
Johnny Cage threw his fist forward and swiftly struck Han Solo in the side of the face and was quick to follow up with his other fist, jabbing him in the other side of the face. Han, not wanting to cause any havoc amongst other people, promptly ran out of the cantina, with Johnny doing the same. They were in the sand of the desert planet Tatooine. The smuggler whipped out his DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol. He loaded it and shot a bolt towards Johnny, but the martial arts actor reacted in time and ducked, dashing towards Solo. Cage charged his fist, connecting it with a punch in the groin.
Johnny visibly smiled as Han keeled over in pain. Using his opponent's pain as a momentary distraction, Johnny hurled a forceball which hit Han in the chest. He wasted no time in stepping on the ground with one foot and speeding forward in a green trail, leaving behind green afterimages. A Shadow Kick connected to Han's chest and he rolled a short distance before falling on his back.
Cage had a smile on his face and his arms folded while waiting for Han to get back up.
"What, afraid to fight up close?" Johnny tauntingly asked.
Han, still on the ground, thrusted his leg into Johnny's midsection, causing him to stumble backwards. Han gave a smug smile. He then elbowed Johnny Cage in his face, making the actor grab his face in pain, especially his nose. He noticed his sunglasses slid off of his face, his eyes somewhat visible. Johnny adjusted his sunglasses back onto his face. He straightened his posture and had a look of fury on his face. Han Solo punched Cage twice and pulled out his blaster again, setting it to stun. He fired a bolt towards Johnny. Upon contact, Johnny Cage glowed blue, his body stiffening and falling flat.
"That should take care of him." Han said as he looked at his incapacitated opponent.
Solo walked further into the desert of Tatooine, looking for somewhere to sit down. A few minutes passed and Johnny Cage started to regain his consciousness. He also ran further into the desert in pursuit of his opponent. He caught up and the two were facing each other again.
"You can't keep me down forever." Johnny Cage said with a smug smile towards Han Solo.
"We'll see about that." Han replied to Johnny.
Johnny hurled two straight forceballs, but Han dodged the projectiles. Johnny moved his leg upwards into the air and moved it downwards, connecting an ax kick to Han Solo's head. He then repeated the same leg movement, but his second kick was an upwards kick. Cage finished his combo with an uppercut with enough force to send Solo flying in the air. Cage threw two forceballs in an upwards arch while Solo was still in the air, directly connecting to his chest.
Johnny Cage enveloped himself with yellow energy, creating two shadows. He sent them forward to attack Han. One shadow managed to land a few hits, but Han quickly pulled out his blaster and shot a bolt at both yellow shadows, causing them to fall to the ground and dissipate. Solo connected a fast punch to one side of Cage's face and then the other side with his other fist. Cage blocked another punch, but Solo kneed him in the stomach and followed with a straight kick, making him slightly stagger backwards.
Han Solo targeted Johnny Cage and fired a bolt, hitting Johnny in the side, making him scream and causing a burning sensation along with his vest being singed. Solo visibly smiled in satisfaction at his marksmanship. He ran towards Cage and tackled him to the ground. The smuggler delivered a direct punch to the actor's face, making the lenses of Johnny's sunglasses crack and break. Blood slightly dripped from Johnny's nose.
Johnny Cage had a look of anger on his face upon seeing his broken sunglasses. He leaped to his feet, but Han fired another blaster bolt to the other side of his stomach, causing the same effect. Johnny straightened himself after recovering from the pain and stared directly into Han Solo's face.
"Do you have any idea how much my sunglasses cost?!" Cage asked the pilot. He then pulled out another pair of the same sunglasses and put them on his face.
"Good thing I always keep extra pairs. Bring it on!" Johnny exclaimed. He rushed forward with a combo of punches and kicks, finishing with a sweep kick.
Han got back up to his feet and gave another smug smile. "I don't easily give up either." The pilot said in response to Johnny Cage. Solo threw his arm forward to elbow Cage, but he caught Solo's arm, blocking the attack. Cage countered by striking him in the chest with each palm, following up with a roundhouse. He then raised his hands into the air, making motions as if he was trapped. Solo threw his fist forward, but Johnny Cage parried the punch, smashing his fist in Solo's face. Johnny then grabbed Han, throwing him to the ground.
"Cheap move!" Han Solo yelled in surprise at being caught off guard. "There's more where that came from." Cage replied. Han fired a bolt from his blaster at Johnny's leg, making the actor grab his leg in pain. He ran forward and struck Cage in the chin with his elbow. Cage once again straightened himself, but he did not stop. He pulled out a pair of brass knuckles which spelled "Cage" in all capital letters similarly to his belt buckle. He bumped his fists together, making sparks come out of the brass knuckles and causing them to sparkle. He threw a flurry of punches at the smuggler. As Johnny Cage briefly stopped, Han Solo realized blood was dripping from his nose. Johnny used the distraction to knock down Han.
Han got up to his feet, with Johnny taking the opportunity to perform a combo. He covered himself in green energy, connecting a backflip kick to Han's chin. Han Solo was airborne, and Johnny Cage followed up his backflip kick with an uppercut with his elbow. He then performed an overhead kick, sending Solo falling to the ground. Cage created yellow shadows of himself again, with one performing an elbow uppercut and the other sliding across the ground on one foot and connecting a kick to the pilot's chest. Johnny Cage summoned a stunt double to grab Han Solo's arms and hold him in place; he then punched Han Solo and immediately afterward summoned another stunt double who tackled Solo to the ground.
Cage extended his hand and repeatedly curled his fingers, in a sort of taunting fashion prompting the Corellian smuggler to get up. As Han stood back up, Johnny Cage removed his sunglasses from his face and tossed them, hitting Han in the face and causing him to stumble back. Johnny then pulled out a camera and snapped a picture, using the flash from the light to stun and temporarily blind Solo. Cage dashed forward and performed a combo of rapid kicks on Solo, following up with an ax kick. The actor performed an uppercut strong enough to make Han airborne. Cage quickly performed another uppercut on the airborne smuggler, causing him to fall to the ground. Johnny Cage charged his foot with green energy and kicked Han Solo who stumbled backwards a short distance before regaining his consciousness.
Han Solo, upon regaining his consciousness, stood straight and wiped the sand from his clothes; he fired a shot at the side of Johnny's chest and another shot at the other side. The actor felt a brief burning sensation on the sides of his chest, but shrugged off the pain. Johnny Cage, once again, clenched his hands into fists and bumped his brass knuckles together. Cage connected a punch to Solo's face with one fist, following up with another punch with the opposite fist. The actor charged his fist with green energy, delivering a palm strike to the smuggler's chest. The pressure from the palm strike caused Han to fall to his knees and hold his chest in pain, shortly falling to the ground afterwards. Johnny folded his arms and smugly smiled while waiting for Solo to stand back up on his feet.
Johnny Cage punched Han Solo twice followed by a chop to the groin, causing the pilot to keel forward in pain, followed by Cage charging his fist with energy and delivering a punch to Solo's face. While Solo still stood, the actor quickly sidestepped and kicked him to the ground. Han slowly regained his footing and struck Johnny in the stomach with his elbow and then the chin. He then kicked Johnny in the chest, causing the actor to stumble back. The smuggler pulled out his blaster and fired a shot at each side of Johnny Cage's chest before setting the blaster to stun and firing a third shot at the actor, stunning him and causing him to fall unconscious.
"That should keep you down." Han said in a confident tone; he placed his blaster back in the holster of his belt and started to walk away. While Solo walked away, he heard a breathing sound. He walked back and saw Cage regain his consciousness and his footing. Cage adjusted his sunglasses, wiping the sand from them and also the sand from his face and clothes. He had a smile on his face. "I also don't go down without a fight. Let me see what you got!" Cage said, prompting Solo to continue fighting. Solo quickly punched Cage in the face followed by another punch. He stepped back a short distance and pulled out his blaster, firing another shot which Cage was fast enough to react to and dodge. Johnny Cage took the opportunity to connect a roundhouse kick to the hand in which Han Solo held his blaster, disarming him of his weapon.
"Let's see how well you can fight without your fancy weapon! Just the two of us hand-to-hand." Cage struck Solo on one side of the chest with a roundhouse kick, continuing with an uppercut to the pilot's chin. Han angrily threw his fist forward, but Johnny countered the attack and struck Solo in the chest with a punch of his own. He then performed a leg split and delivered a series of punches to Han Solo's groin before leaping into the air and smashing his elbow into Solo's back, of which an X-ray was visible. The pilot felt great pain in his back and was slow to stand back up. Johnny Cage took the opportunity to bump his brass knuckles together.
"You put up a fight, but now it's time to finish this!" Cage said to the barely standing Solo. He charged energy into his brass knuckle-clad fists. Johnny Cage delivered a flurry of punches to Solo's face with increased speed and power, causing blood to pour from Han Solo's nose, making him gasp and yell in pain.
The pilot fell to his knees again, barely able to stand. Johnny Cage rammed his fist into Solo's head, causing more blood to spout from not only his face, but also his head. Cage dug into the pilot's head with enough force to extract his brain, briefly holding it up triumphantly before tossing it to the ground. He charged a Shadow Kick with enough strength to separate Han's torso from his legs; while the torso was still in midair, Cage connected a perfectly timed punch to the head, severing it from to the torso, both of which promptly dropped to the ground next to Solo's legs, all covered in blood. Where the remains fell, blood also partially covered the sand in the desert.
Johnny Cage walked away from the remains and whipped out another pair of sunglasses, putting them on and folding his arms. "Oh yeah!" He said triumphantly.

(*Cue Mortal Kombat X - Johnny Cage: A-List*)
Boomstick: It looks like Johnny Cage was right that Han Solo didn't know who he was or up against.
Wiz: Han and Johnny both proved to be confident and formidable fighters. Solo's competence in melee combat, his luck, and his range with his blaster let him stay in battle with Cage for a time, but the Hollywood actor was still superior to the pilot in other areas. Johnny Cage, while not having as wide of a range of attacks, could still use his energy to shoot forceballs from a distance, use his Shadow Kick to close the distance, and summon doubles of himself to attack while he stands back.
Boomstick: While Han is competent at hand-to-hand combat, Johnny has training in several martial arts styles, such as Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Shinto Ryu, and Shorin Ryu, giving him the advantage in hand-to-hand combat skill. Han, on the other hand, mainly prefers to fight from a distance with his blaster, but Cage has experience fighting opponents with means of ranged attack. Scorpion with his spear and fire projectiles and Sub-Zero with his ice projectiles are just two examples.
Wiz: Johnny Cage was also overall physically superior to Han Solo; while it's impressive that Han can knock people down with kicks or jump kicks, Johnny potentially matches or even surpasses that level of strength since he was able to knock down Kano with a single Shadow Kick, and he has even knocked away Jacqui Briggs with the same Shadow Kick when she had her power enhanced with the Blood Code. Both of those instances should surpass Solo being able to beat down people with two strikes after his training in the Imperial Navy.
Boomstick: Similarly, while Han Solo managed to throw Shrike off of himself in what was described as an "iron-like grip" and later defeat him and an even stronger and faster bounty hunter despite his injuries, Johnny Cage is comparable to Sub-Zero, the latter of whom has torn apart Lin Kuei cyborgs with his bare hands. Likewise, Cage has Solo beat in durability. Solo surviving a beating from Shrike and having broken bones and limbs is remarkable, but Cage has endured being at the center of a collapsing wall after an Oni Warlord threw a log hard enough to cause the entire portion of the wall to collapse; he also was thrown into a stone pillar and got back up just fine moments later.
Wiz: Johnny Cage has also survived being struck by a blast of lightning from Raiden, merely being knocked unconscious. He also survived falling several stories after tackling Scorpion after falling out of a helicopter, only to recover quickly and show no pain, which can compare to Han Solo remaining conscious despite the impact from being thrown around by a starship crash.
Boomstick: Johnny Cage had Han Solo outclassed in strength and durability, so now let's look at speed. Han has regularly dodged blaster fire, the invisible energy beams of which move at light speed. The bolts themselves, however, are plasma, which is a form of matter and not energy, so they aren't light speed.
Wiz: The hosts of Mythbusters, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, used footage from the Star Wars films to calculate the speed of blaster bolts, which was determined to be anywhere from 130 to 135 miles per hour. Way slower than light, and even less than half of the speed of sound; on the other hand, since Han has piloted the Millennium Falcon which can reach light speed and faster, it's reasonable to say Han Solo could react to such speeds.
Boomstick: Since the blaster bolts have been calculated not to be light speed, let alone half the speed of sound, Johnny Cage being able to dodge gunfire and even point-blank gunfire from assault rifles, both types of which can exceed the speed of sound, means he should have no problem dodging the plasma bolts from Han's blaster. Johnny not only reacted to and caught Scorpion's kunai spear, but he's also comparable to Sub-Zero, who can dodge rockets, which are even faster than gunfire. Scorpion also grabbed Takeda Takahashi, Kenshi's son, and teleported away with him before Raiden's lightning could strike either of them. Another of Sub-Zero's impressive speed feats is dodging lasers from Kano's eye and cybernetic heart implants.
Wiz: Johnny Cage should also scale to characters who can dodge Kotal Kahn's light-based attacks, making his speed all the more impressive. While Han took on and tagged three fully grown Death-Wookies who were stated to "move in blurs" before any of them could reach him, Johnny Cage should be able to react to Kabal's own running speed.
Boomstick: Based on the feats of physicality, Johnny Cage is stronger, tougher, and at least has faster movement speed while both are potentially equal in reaction speed, with Han maybe being faster in that regard. Although Han Solo is willing to use underhanded tactics, such as biting, if necessary, Johnny Cage does so more consistently, given his infamous groin punches.
Wiz: Both Han Solo and Johnny Cage are confident, strong-willed, and sometimes heroes, Johnny Cage's superior strength, durability, and potentially movement speed alongside his combat experience, martial arts and military training, and having his own ranged attacks combined with his capability of being unpredictable in combat secured him the advantage over Han Solo.
Boomstick: Han Solo was a brave fighter, but in the end, he got Caged.
Wiz: The winner is Johnny Cage.
