Little rabbits feed our Habits,

We are millions fierce and strong, The bloodthirsty rage within us, Urges, that we move on, Do not fight the forever flood, Of paranoia, hate, and fear, Because I will be with you all, I'll always be right here, We'll take the rabbits together, And together eat them alive, We'll fill our hearts with the joy of slaughter, The joy of their tortured cries, And as they lay face down in the dirt, You will see that these rabbits were friends, The ones you loved, The ones who loved you, Who cried your name to the bitter end, And then you'll try your very damnedest, You'll try to separate us, Until you realize that us is me, And with me there is no us, So you millions scared and weak, Prepare for some devastation, Some blood soaked hands, Some broken bones, And mass body counts across your nations, Because I am the monster in your head, The beast that hides under your bed, The axe wielding man crossing your street, The bloody hands that tear the meat, Try to stop me if you can, But you'll break the Habits of man.

~ With love,

HABIT

HABIT is a sociopathic demon god in the Slenderverse. Specifically, he is the main antagonist of the EverymanHYBRID webseries, a supporting villain in TribeTwelve, an important antagonist near the end of MLAndersen0 and an unseen character in Stan Frederick.

HABIT's true motives are unknown, although he is known for frequently switching alignments and supporting both the Administrator as well as his victims, and Patrick Andersen.

Death Battle Info[]

Background[]

  • Name: HABIT, Evan Jennings, Fairmount Evan, Jack the Ripper, Vlad the Impaler, Albert Fish, Josef Mengele, Ed Gein
  • Age: Predates humanity, and likely the universe
  • Not the pizza delivery guy
  • Constantly swaps between various hosts
  • Humanity's "bad habit"
  • Most frequently associated with rabbits, though he seems to exclusively have cats as pets

Abilities[]

  • Regeneration/Healing factor
    • Powerful enough to fully heal Evan (HABIT's host at the time) after he was disemboweled by The Rake
    • Can regenerate a human heart
    • Host bodies will die if their brain is destroyed.
      • In theory, this weakness is moot as HABIT can revive and reanimate the dead (see below)
    • Host bodies will become useless to HABIT if their spinal cords are damaged
  • Weapon profiency
    • Capable of using countless weapons efficiently (see below)
    • Can turn regular objects into makeshift killer weapons, like a fork
  • Hacking skill
    • Has hacked the protagonists' YouTube channel and Twitter accounts on several occasions, as well as Damsel's blog
  • Possession
    • HABIT's primary ability, as he uses host bodies nearly all the time
    • Can possess multiple people at once
    • Evicting or exorcising HABIT is seemingly impossible
    • HABIT can apparently be summoned into a host by way of a ritual that involves the target standing in a certain pose (which HABIT calls "the Statue of Liberty playing football") for exactly one hour and seven minutes
    • HABIT's presence within a host massively amplifies their physical strength and durability; while within Evan's body, he was able to decollate The Rake by swinging a baseball bat at its head.
  • Space-time manipulation
  • Teleportation of himself and others (through space and time)
    • Notably sent Noah from December to September of 2013
    • Teleported Noah to his house
  • Mind control and memory manipulation
    • Lifted The Administrator's (Slenderman's) control over Firebrand.
    • Brainwashed a SWAT team into killing each other.
    • Caused mental relapses when the crew watched his hidden videos.
    • Evan could not initially remember anything he did while possessed by HABIT
  • Pocket reality manipulation (The Candleverse)
  • Resurrection and necromancy
    • Brought Nick back from the dead, and possibly did the same for Jeff (who was alive in The Candleverse after being killed by HABIT)
    • The Cameramen that follow HABIT around are heavily implied to be eliminated players of the Seven Trials of HABIT, who were revived as undead creatures under HABIT's control. They are consistently made out to be atrocious-looking creatures that are anything but human; to the point that even HABIT himself is freaked out by them.
  • Illusions
  • Technopathy
    • Can flicker lights from a distance
    • Took control of Evan's car
    • Altered the footage of the EverymanHYBRID channel without it being noticed
  • Telekinesis
  • Likely some form of plot manipulation
    • It is heavily implied (and believed by Vinnie) that the lives of the EverymanHYBRID crew are fiction, and that they are trapped in a set of endless loops known as "iterations" where HABIT and Slenderman directly control their lives, resetting the iteration or moving on to the next one whenever they are bored or unsatisfied.
    • HABIT states that the lie that is his life grows on its own
  • Was able to make Jeff bleed from his mouth without touching him
  • Is apparently capable of producing various sound effects from thin air and of playing music without the need for technology, though this ability isn't particularly useful in a Death Battle
  • Slenderman is apparently incapable of entering HABIT's house (located in Piscataway, New Jersey), implying that HABIT may be able to interfere with his, and potentially other beings' power

Weapons[]

  • Various firearms and knives
  • Baseball bat
  • Axe
  • Hacksaw
  • Machete
  • Sword
  • A chainsaw named "Rex"
  • Gasoline and matches

North Star Weapons[]

  • A duo of weapons, consisting of a knife and a shotgun, with special properties
  • The weapons will force the conceptual idea of mortality onto anyone who is injured with them, killing them instantly even if they are immortal or have regeneration / a healing factor (Evan was unable to regenerate from a stab)
  • This way, HABIT can even kill all-powerful gods that can't die
  • A simple scratch of the North Star Knife can kill Vinnie in seconds
  • While it hurts HABIT himself a tremendous amount if used against him, he is immune to their death concept and anti-regen powers, meaning he can't be killed with it

Cameramen[]

  • Mostly unseen creatures who follow HABIT wherever he goes and record him
  • They seem to be gifted with the power to float and change their size
  • Even HABIT himself doesn't know what they are, and everyone finds them disgusting – HABIT included.

Feats[]

  • Killed a nurse with a fork while in a child's body
  • Decapitated the Rake in a single attack
  • Killed an entire SWAT intervention team all on his own
  • Set up all of the EverymanHYBRID crew against each other, as puppets in his greater plan
  • On equal footing with, if not stronger than The Administrator (Slenderman)
  • Operates in a way similar to Platonic Ideals and transcends the universe
  • Has complete control over history like a story
  • Jack the Ripper and Josef Mengele, two of his identities, were successfully unapprehended by their death. Jack the Ripper's identity has never truly been uncovered.
    • HABIT isn't lying when he claims he was synonymous with the aforementioned serial killers — he consumed Stephanie's newborn baby in the EverymanHYBRID series, which is almost identical behaviour to Albert Fish.
  • "Won" at the end of EverymanHYBRID, with all main characters (excluding Corenthal) dead and unknowing copies of them trapped in a new timeline or in some sort of aferlife.
  • Easily snapped people's necks.

Weaknesses[]

  • His ego
  • Prefers to toy with his victims rather than killing them directly
  • His host bodies will die instantly from brain or spine damage
  • The North Star Weapons, while unable to truly kill him, hurt HABIT a lot if used against him
