Wz: We all had these atleast one point. Our Inner Demons. A struggle with in your own mind. Losing your sanity, and going mad.
Boomstick: But these two combatants kiiiiinda take it to the literal term. Like Guts, The wandering Black Swordsman from Berserk.
Wiz: And Clare, Yomi slayer & the 47th ranked Claymore.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!
Guts Berserks into DEATH BATTLE[]
(*Cues:Black Magic*)
Wiz: Before he was a man thirsting for revenge, before he was the Black Swordsman, before even becoming a mercenary, Guts was a man who knew nothing but tragedy.
Boomstick: Almost as if god hated a child before it was even born. Well that's sort of what happened
Wiz- Young Guts was born from the hanging corpse of his dead mother. Which is logically impossible. Him as a baby was discovered mercenary group on patrol andwho him in and was raised by one of it's refugees…..Who died 3 years later.
Boomstick: That’s oddly….coincidental. Like bad luck charm.
Wiz- With no one left to turn to, Guts was took in and mentored by the mercenary leader Gambino. Beginning to train him in swordsmanship at a young age. While Gambino was very skilled in wielding a blade, he was not so skilled in the arts of good parenting.
Guts tries to attack Gambino, who then knees him.
Gambino: We don't carry any baby-sized swords for kids here anyway.
Wiz: Guts' determination however was what brought him onto the battlefield. Successfully killing his first man at the age of nine.
Boomstick: Despite his skill, lady luck didn't smile at Guts. He was constantly abused in many ways to the point it was….inhuman. I mean what kind of father figure prostitutes their own song? Prostituting! Not even my dad did something that messed up!
Wiz: Guts would kill his drunken adoptive father as a means of self defense and became a lone traveling mercenary .Soon recruited by a mercenary group called the Band of the Hawk. With all that trauma, fuled guts' anger and hatred making a demon on the battlefield
(*Cues:Black Asphalt*)
Wiz: The Hawk's raiders would be Guts' only taste of what it means to be family.
Boomstick: Except for Corkus. Nobody likes Corkus. Though the Hawks manage to end a war lasting over hundreds years. At this point, things were looking up for Guts. He even got a girlfriend out of them. But then his bad luck struck again.
Wiz: In desperation to make his ideals into reality, Griffith (friend of Guts & Leader of the Hawks) made a deal with the devil, murdering all of Guts' friends….and Corkus.
Boomstick: No one cared for that jerk anyways.
Wiz:To add insult to injury, Griffith branded Guts’ neck, claiming ownership of his own soul .
Boomstick: To add Injury to wounds (That’s a saying right?) Griffith then raped Guts' girlfriend Casca right in front of him , had his eye gouged out by a demon and was forced to cut off his own arm.
(*Cuts to Wiz & Boomstick*)
Boomstick: Ok, just what the hell? This guy’s luck is worse than mine. What the hell did he even do to deserve this crap.
Wiz: (*Thinks*) Noth-
Boomstick: NOTHING! Exactly! He should start doing what I'm doing lately. Having an entire collection of rabbit foots for good luck.
Wiz: Is that why there’s so many around the studio? Why do you even have so many? Your not even unlucky.
Boomstick: I don't know hopefully wishes for a great future, a new wife or maybe wishful thinking so you don’t go stabbing my foot with a trident!
Wiz: It was one time!

Wiz: After that day, Guts was moved by revenge against Griffith. Motivated to killing him savagely, gory & painfully as possible
Boomstick: But to do this, he needs the right tools for the job. He carries a belt of throwing knives and a pouch of mini bombs even demons can't take.
Wiz: He also received a new prosthetic hand, which carries a flamethrower, repeater crossbow, and a hidden single shot cannon.
Boomstick: Think of it as a stealthy assassin weapon, but it doesn’t result in a silent kill.But Guts' primary method of destruction, not tool but skill. His swordsmanship
Wiz: Guts in his early days use to wield a giant longsword. Despite being a normal sword, Guts has shown that it can cleave through mostly anything in just one swing. Real life blacksmiths used a method of replicating the sword using an actual piece of railroad track just to build the sword itself.
Boomstick: That was until he threw it away in favor of the Dragonslayer great sword. A 400 lbs behemoth of blade that delivers much more damage and impact than whatever that puny sword he had last time. Plus, the name is much more badass.
Wiz: Compared to real life swords, Dragonslayer is about 7 x stronger than the heaviest sword recorded (which was 55lbs.)
Boomstick: With a single swing of Dragonslayer, Guts can cleave through a man wearing heavy armor... along with his weapon, and a lot of things really. It’s like a giant hot knife, but not without the heat. Remember that trend Wiz?
Wiz: I remember you burning my furniture from that challenge. But after killing over a thousand demons the sword was bathed in so much demonic blood that it now resides in both the physical and astral planes of existence... Which is figuratively and logically impossible to do.
Boomstick: Wiz, it's anime logic. Don't question it.
(*Cues:Brutal Savage*)
Boomstick: Moving on, Guts is an absolute monster in combat. He can move faster than the eye can track, killed one hundred soldiers on his own in one damn night, and jumped into the mouth of a giant sea god, cut his way through it, and killed it within. If it ain't obvious enough, Guts has huge freaking balls… no not those balls, i meant the guy’s a freaking stallion! He jumped into fire, allowed himself to be impaled just to gain an advantage. And... he always survives. Somehow. Guts has fallen hundreds of feet, impalement through the body and even his face, taken multiple supernatural ORA ORA’s at, and survived encounters with some of the strongest demons in Midland.
Wiz: However, Guts disregards his own safety which can be costly. He has survived multiple times but this mentality could often not make him very reckless in fights.
Boomstick: If Guts is pinned against the wall, he'll activate the most dangerous weapon in his arsenal. more than Dragonslayer itself. The Bereserker Armor.
Wz: What the Berserker Armor does it seals off the wearer's nervous system, making him immune to pain and its natural inhibitions. Guts to fight at his fullest potential, boosting his power and speed but one major drawback is that it can damage his own body. With it he was once able to block the Mast of a ship. Easily weighing around 30 tons at most.
Boomstick: With this armor, Guts' sword swing is more powerful than a cannonball so the force can break his own arm and keep going, and manage to dodge lightning. Y'know Mach 280 speeds. Oh, and don't worry if he gets hurt. The armor itself is cursed. And if Guts has something like a broken limb, it will literally rip and pierce his body to pin the bones and muscles back in place.
Wiz: Now, don’t be too presumptuous.. The armor does not actually have a healing factor per sya, more like hold his body together whitout it breaking apart. This is crippling because even though Guts won't feel pain, he is still capable of taking damage. .Further evidence on how the berserk armor forces him to channel his inner demon.
Boomstick: : ...Losing his humanity and making him a Wolf in knight's armor.
Wiz: That's not even a saying.
Boomstick: Shut up Wiz. The guy himself is dangerous enough. Believe me, the last thing you want to do is get in this guy's way.
Wiz: Until the day comes for him to kill Griffith, Guts will live on. Slaying anything and anyone that gets in his way
Guts: Screw you. I'm a purebred human, right down to the bone. Don't mistake me for one of you freaks.
Clare hunts into DEATH BATTLE[]
(*Cues: Dark Moon*)
Wiz: In the land known as the Island World. Creatures of unparalleled disaster run rampant. These creatures are referred to only as Yomas. beings that feed on human flesh and blood.
Boomstick:Yomas are in short, really freaking scary. There’s no long explanation, they're really terrifying to look at.
Wiz: One of the unfortunate victims of these Yomas was a young girl named Clare.
Boomstick: Yeah, Strap in boys and girls, this one is a doozy.
Wiz: Long ago, Clare’s parents were both killed by a Yoma disguised as her own brother. Who after killing them, attempted to rape her after killng her parents. Yep… a demon raping a child… how (*gag*) pleasant.
Boomstick: Clare was saved. But not in a knight in shining armor..ok maybe but the knight wasn't exactly holy. A Claymore.
Wiz:Proficient in battle, Claymores are a half-human, half-Yoma hybrid warriors of the Organization.
Boomstick: That is the most basic Organization name i have ever heard. Ever. Of all time.
Wiz: The essential purpose of Claymores is to hunt and kill Yomas. Essentially acing as guardians or protectors....for hire of course.
Boomstick: But Lady luck didn't just frown upona pile of guts... he heh get it? She also fround upon Clare.
Wiz: Clare was thrown out of her under suspicion she too was a Yoma….Leaving her, an abandoned orphan
Boomstick: Until another Yoma appeared and she was forced to travel with it. But wouldn't ya know, Yoma’s are not good parents. It abused Clare so freaking badly, she had a complete mental shutdown.
Wiz:Abused both physically and emotionally caused her to become mute in the result of that shutdown. Soon in a resident town she would be cornered by 7 different Yoma, till she was saved by the exact same Claymore that saved her before.
Boomstick: This hottie is actually named Teresa, who happens to be one of if not THE strongest Claymores. Despite Claymores being half Yoma and her experience with other Yomas, she followed Teresa till far ends.
Wiz: Empathizing with Teresa, she tries embracing her, despite Teresa's many rejections. After many fights and thwarting off bandits, Clare regained her ability to speak and expressed her actual feelings.
Boomstick: And all lived happilly ever after.....No just kidding Teresa turned her back against the organization, Other Claymores came to hunt her down and one of them managed to kill her. Ok, this is just in general and I may have already said this but why does this always happen?You know, I always thought parenting was the hardest thing about being a parent , but at this point, I think it's just actually staying alive if your kid's ever gonna do anything great, or just sticking around for them.
(*Cues:Rip Snorter*)
Wiz: The Claymore that killed Teresa, Priscilla soon gone rogue herself. And was hunted down for no end. Coming up with a ludicrous and almost crazy idea, Clare took Teresa's head and demands Teresa's flesh and blood be put in her. This shouldn't have worked but… it did… and thus Clare became one of the Organization Claymores.
Boomstick: After making friends and rivals and passing the Claymore assignment, Clare met a little boy named Raki who may or may not have a crush on her. Geez kid, you haven't even hit puberty yet.
Wiz:- Clare let Raki travel alongside her as a personnel cook. Not very useful in combat , but very useful for survival. Seemed like Clare's intent, but there might be more reasons then here cold face showes. Like Clare, Raki suffered from the exact same fate that befell his parents and was kicked out in the process. Essentially Clare is filling Teresa's role, and Raki is playing her old role.
Boomtstick: But in order to follow Teresa's footsteps she needed the right equipment. And oh bow did she.
Wiz:Clare carries with her at all times her trusty Claymore sword. Despite it being a sword it acts more as a Claymore's title. It is there badge of honor as a Claymore and when they die, it is als o their own tombstone. Apart f the Claymore that's still in the physical world.
Boomstick: Damn that's some dedication. This baby is also capable of cutting armor, stone, entire trees, yet has never dulled, chipped, or rusted. Shame that orginization hires only women. I want one of those bad boys.
(*Cuts to Wiz & Boomstick*)
Wiz: And thanks to her half Yoma fusion, Clare has access to several Yoki abilities. Yoki is in simple terms the energy that resigns in all Yoma’s. Yoma detection enhances strength, speed endurance, increases the acceleration of her healing factor and even manipulates other Yoma’s yoki flow..
Boomstick: And all this Yoki is fueled by one thing and one thing only.. angst.
Wiz: Hatred.
Boomstick: Same thing, really.
Wiz: No, angst is a feeling of fear while anger is remorse or regret. If you were to say, be haunted by clowns for the rest of your life that be Angst. A feeling of deep anxiety or dread. If i were to say ruin your beer collection, you would be angry.
Boomstick: iz, you better not have blown up my beer like last time. Or else your going to be on my next hit list.
Wiz: When dd you get a hit list?
Boomstick: Uhhh did I say hit list? Uh yeah as in hitting you….eheheheh eh…..
(**Boomstick socks him in the face, knocking him out cold. He tried to steal money out of his wallet, but to his luck there was no money*)
Boomstick: Oh damn it, he's all out! Next time I gotta check his bank account.
(*Back to the analysis*)
(*Cues:Vaporizer*)
Wiz: (*Groans*) And even without her Yoki abilities she has learned several sword techniques such as the quicksword technique. In real life the Quicksword sword style. Which focuses on as the name states, swinging the sword to the point that the blade is either invisible or the blade itself isn't even moving. She also knows the windcutter technique which is similar to the Quicksword but focuses more on accuracy then speed.
Boomstick: She also made her own variation of both she calls the Fusion technique. That combines both the Quicksword’s speed with the Windcutter’s accuracy. Which sounds useful…. and it is. Only if it had a cooler name.
Wiz: It took awhile, but Clare managed to master both techniques and used them to their fullest potential. Mastering both the Quicksword and Windcutter to perfect the Fusion Technique.
Boomstick: Then there's her transformation into a- baho god what the hell is that thing!?!
Wiz: This form resembles that of Yoma that has in quotes….”partially” awakened their full power. Amplifying her strength and increasing her power with the quick sword. It is also said that in this form, Clare can move as fast as lightning.
Boomstick: The bladed tendrils and that Claw on her left arm kinda looks… a bit freaky...Should we mention she loses her sanity here or is it that obvious?
Wiz: Throughout her adventure to kill Priscilla, Clare has pulled off a lot of impressive feats. She's strong enough to tear off a metal door with her own hands, cut through large stone with ease and even block a stone pillar thrown at her by a Yoma and used enough force to redirect it back at the Yoma who threw it given the size of the pillar and the density of iron, it roughly weighs about 35000 kg. Given the acceleration being around 30 m/s and converting it as force, Clare must've blocked and redirected with a force of over 258 Tons of force
Boomstick: And had enough strength to chuck it back to the poor fool that threw it at her. Quicksword is fast enough to block attacks from even the fastest Claymores, shrugs off getting impaled on several occasions and even defeating this demon named Riful who was so fast, Claymore Yoma detection couldn't track him. Yknow, a LITERAL YOMA RADAR. Geez, these Yomas are more than terrifying. They're freaking weird as hell.
Wiz: Well do you know what's even more so? Teresa is technically still alive.
Boomstick: Say what now?
Wiz: When Clare merged with Teresa’s blood and flesh, she became Teresa’s living incarnation. Granted Teresa’s power and calling upon a new power. Resembling her passed mother idle.
Boomstick: Goddamn she's gorgeous. Not just but tough too. Not only does it give a tremendous boost in stast, her healing has been accelerated and she also gains the strongest attack Teresa had. The Ultimate Quicksword.
Wiz:It was this exact attack that helped Clare to put down Priscilla. Avenging Teresa, and completing her mission.
Boomstick: But it took her awhile to do it. While Clare's healing is incredible it has it's limit do to her being an offensive type Claymore then a defence type. And those healing properties are even more busted.
Wiz: Not only that if Clare overuses her Yoki, she’ll tap into her inner Yoma and go… berserk. Which is a problem for her rather reckless and strong-headed attitude. There is also the UQS's drawback. It;s powerful but it is capablle of tearng apart Clare's body.
Boomstick: But if there's something strange in your village, who are you gonna call? A Claymore, obviously but he Yoma is probably already dead before the call could even be made.
Clare: You said I should have forgotten everything and lived as a human, but... there's no way I could do that.
Fight[]
(*Cues: Chorus of Carnage- Remastered*)
Under the night sky, Clare was traveling across the road till her senses went off. Stopping her companion, Raki in his tracks.
Raki: C-Clare?
Clare- There's a Yoma nearby.
Raki: T-There is?
Clare: You stay back here. I’ll scout ahead and eliminate the target. Stay here until i come back.
Further down the road lead to an unknown forest, Guts the black swordsman, sliced down multiple demons, but what was odd was how they turned back into humans. Up over the hills Clare found the location of Where the Yoma was located. But she believed that The black swordsman in the middle of the bodies and bloodshed was the Yoma. And she unsheathes her sword.
Clare- Target sighted. Beginning execution.
Clare dashes in for the first hit, pushes his opponent back with her sword and then swings with the black swordsman dodging it. She manages to land a few punches and kicks that send Guts flying into tree.
Guts- A silver eyed witch… never thought my luck would get any worse
Guts readies Dragonslayer and runs toward Clare. With his blade in hand as the Black swordsman fires from his mechanical hand, that Clare used her quicksword to make the arrows dissipate into toothpicks, with the attack slicing a tree in half behind her.
Guts charges at Clare and swings his sword multiple times at surprisingly high speeds. The Clare was able to avoid and impale guts with her sword. But then, Guys prepares his cross bow and fires multiple arrows .
Guts: Die!
The arrows in mid air were seen to be sliced in half
Guts: Huh!? What gives? (Did she strike them with her sword? Impossible. She didn't take it out her sheathe!)
Guts then used his bomb as a means of better offense, but the bombs were all sliced in half. Exploded when the Gunpowder came in contact with the Quicksword…
The dust disappeared and Guts saw Clare leap towards him with over head slash. The Black Swordsman dodged, but the blade gashed his shoulder plate with the sparks igniting from impact. The Claymore and the Black Swordsman traded blows with each of their blades. But Guts kicked Clare back and used his throwing knives. Which were proven ineffective by Clare’s Windcutter.
Guts: Why you…..
The Black swordsman prosthetic hand changed forma and resembled more of a cannon.
Guts: Try and redirect this!
Guts’ cannon fired dealing massive damage to Clae who stumbled back with the severe burns slowly healing. With the opponent weakened, Guts went in and unloaded a barrage of sword attacks before one swing sent Clare flying through the woods.
Near a cliffside, Clare landed near a stone wall and saw her claymore sword get lodged into the cliff’s end. Scowling as her wounds heal, Clare saw the black swordsman slowly approach her With Dragonslayer in hand.
Desperately, The Claymore used a second sword on her and slashed 3 times at The Black swordsman with swift speed. Using her swiftness, Clare slashed Guts again and jumped off his face, grabbing her Sword that was lodged in the ledge. After pulling it out, she threw it back down and jumped off the bottom of the cliff towards the Black Swordsman. Guts blocked the sword, but the impact was more powerful when Clare grabbed the sword again and increased the force of swing. Causing the ground to crack, and golden sparks shown between where the two swords intersected.
Guts with sheer might pushed off Clare who landed on her feet, and was ready to charge in with Dragonslayer. The Claymore however countered by using her windcutter and slashing away at the Black Swordsman. Stopping his momentum.
The Windcutter managed to….cut Guts in many areas. His leg, his side, and even his neck….Feeling the pain, he still was able to bear it and Does a lunging stab. Picking Clare up from the ground and made her go thrashing down. Guts shouts before swinging his sword once more, cleaving Clare’s head in two. Guts removes his bloodied sword and walks
Guts- Honestly, cant help but feel a little disapointed. I thought you silver witches would put up more of a fight.
However, the fight proves to be far from over. Clare punches the ground in anger and her body began to morph. Her eyes turn gold with slit pupils like those of a Yoma and her face and body become distorted and monstrous.
Her legs become hock-jointed like a horse's, making her faster, and blades grow from her right arm, while her left becomes large and claw-like. Seeing this ,Guts then activates his Berserker Armor and he charges at Clare in her partially awakened form. However the sheer might of Clare in her awakened form overwhelmed Guts no matter how hard he tried. He tried impaling her again but Clare with clare dug deep into Guts' arm and Pulled it right off its socket. Guts recoiled back, from the impact.
But the Black Swordsman wasn’t ready to go down that easily. Despite swinging Dragonslayer with one arm, Guts manage to back the creature up to the cliff tops. One single swim launched Clare into the air ,
In Front of the moon, shown the silhouette of Guts ready to lay down the impact on Clare. The impact of Guts sword didn't kill Clare but knocked her on top of the cliff and hit a few trees that were up there.
However getting on the cliff, the black Swordsman was caught off guard from getting grabbed by Clare’s tendrils. The Yomi hybrid proceeded to drag the Black Swordsman through the woods before smashing him through a tree.
Roaring, Clare used her windcutter technique again, with Guts withstanding it. He then does a charging outward slash On Clare which also knocked down a few trees within his reach. Seeing it , The yomi Hybrid threw one of the trees towards Guts, who splits in half...grabs one of the slice pieces after putting DragonSlayer down and redirected back at Clare. The latter which made it eviscerate.
Not knowing what was ahead, Guts aimed his cannon once again since the arm that was cut off wasn't the prosthetic arm. The cannon propelled the yomi hybrid back..igniting the trees on fire and causing a massive explosion. Which resulted in a forest fire, spreading beyond the cannon. Seeing the job may have been finished, Guts began to walk away.
But a surge of light proved it yet again wasn't over. The black swordsman looked back, and seen Clare seems more human but resembled an entirely. The Claymore now resembled that of her mother figure, Teresa. Wounds fully healed, She picked up her sword and began using her windcutter technique.
Before Guts could react, the metal from the helmet was torn off,a s well as his other arm…. What quickly followed was the black Swordsman losing a leg...and kneeling.
Clare: Does it hurt? You shouldn’t worry…..
The Claymore continues by raising her blade in the air.
Clare: Death shall numb the pain…
Refusing to give in, Guts grabs Dragonslayers handle by using his own mouth to make one, final stand. But do the weight, his jaw couldn’t lift the entire weight. Clare than focuses all of her energy into a single attack and struck with her Ultimate Quicksword. Ripping apart Gut’s flesh and armor to the atomic level. Before succumbing to the blow, Guts lets out one final cry before turning into a waterfall of blood.
Reverting, Clare fell to her knees, using the sword as leverage. Using the quicksword put a large strain on her body……
Clare: I….. I must get back to Raki….
Verdict[]

Boomstick: Yikes! I heard of a bloodbath, but that was pretty much a blood shower!
Wiz: This matchup seemed pretty balanced at first....Emphasis on "at first". Guts was a valiant warrior, and the Berserker Armor was a deadly weapon. But Clare had everything she needed to grab the victory.
Boomstick: First and foremost, Clare had every single counter she had in Guts in Arsenal. Throwing knives? We didn't mention but she has that too. Dragonslayer? Her sword is the overall better weapon. While being a beautiful hunk of metal, The Dragonslayer isn't invincible. While it can carve through anything, it still has faults as any other sword would have. It has taken visible damage in battle, whereas Clare’s sword is much more durable and actually can't rust like other swords. She’s also shown to shrug off stab wounds much easier than Guts thanks to her healing factor.
Wiz: Clare's extra sensory could track Guts' location, her healing factor can allow her to tank Guts' most powerful attacks and overwhelm him with her transformations and overall power. Let's go in depth. Guts’ berserk armor held a ship mast that easily weighed 30 tons at most, but the pillar Clare redirected had a force that was 8x stronger than The mast Guts held up. Lifting strength and striking strength are different, that much is 100% true. However, Clare blocked the exact same pillar directed at her, possibly at the same amount of force, this show Clare's had more strength to block something 8x heavier than what Guts' Berserk armor blocked.
Boomstick: Guts is tough and agile fighter. But those meant nothing when Clare survived a mountain range explosive and kept up with a Yoma that was basically capable of dodging a freaking radar sensor.
Wiz: Using the diameter of the island Riful was on, the radius of Galatea's Yoki sensory (A claymore just like Clare) range is at least 1055.6 kilometres. Riful had to have crossed 1,055.6 kilometres in the time frame of a second. Which requires moving speeds of over, *ahem* Mach 3,075.7
Boomstick: Guts' fastest record which is dodging lightning. Which speed travels at mach 280. Several times slower than Riful's speed. Even if Guts was somehow faster he couldn't or counter something lie the Quicskword.
Wiz: Comparing power to Teresa, (therefore scaling) Clare's own quciksowrd could easily reach speeds over over mach 3000. Whether Guts was physically faster or not wouldn't matter when Clare was capable of delivering more hits.
Boomstick: But Wiz, Remember what we said that one time? This is what Guts does EVERY SINGLE DAY. He tries to defeat gods and demons leagues above his abilities and still prevails.
Wiz: We reaaallllly exaggerated on that one didn't we? Guts has actually been defeated several times in the past against other demons, which likely has to do with his own recklessness. Ironically, if we use this statement with Guts, it could also apply to Clare in a similar fashion.
Boomstick: Guts is dangerous and scary as all hell. But Clare was tougher, stronger and WAY faster than he'd ever be.
Wiz: The more you think about it, Guts needed his Berserker Armor to technically become a demon. Where Clare already was one.
Boomstick: She was definitely de-clare-d the victor of this fight.
Wiz: The winner is Clare.

- The connection between Guts & Clare is they are both monster slaying mercenaries under mercenary groups (Band of the hawks and the Claymore Orginization) of medieval era where mankind is under constant attack of man eating monsters (Demons and Yomi). Both also possess a Berserk esque inner demon that both have trouble controlling (Clare struggles to control her Yomi powers and Guts has a hard time controlling his inner demons with the berserker armor) Both of their lives have been crap from the ground up ( Guts was born from he dead corpse of his mother and was abused by Gambino to the point it was the likely the cause of Guts' intimidation. Where Clare's family was killed by Yomi and was forced to travel with one who also abused her, to the point she was at one point mute) till there lives presumably got better because of another persons' help (Griffith & Teresa respectively) and then they're lives became crap again (Griffith's betrayal and the death of the hawks & Teresa was killed by Prescilla). Which bother were motivated by revenge from the death of their comrades (Clare wanted to kill Prescilla for killing her mother figure and Guts wants revenge on Griffith for destroying the band of the hawks...and know...raping his girlfriend)
- This battle was the first to be ranked on the Fanon awards podium
- It should be noted that even though a review mentioned clares pillar calc was originally made. this however isnt true as the original calc was actually found on a spacebattles forum that at the time was meant to be used as a source but at the time could not find the original link..until the most recent update
- This battle was ranked 3rd as the best Anime/Manga Themed Death Battle Fanon Awards (And to all wo voted....I just want to say thank you. it really does mean a lot)
