Gigantamax form[]

If Grimmsnarl comes in contact with dynamax energy, it can transform into it's Gigantamax form, allowing it to use powerful moves called Max moves. These moves give out status changes to the user, opponent or the whole stage.

  • Max Moves: Max Strike is a Normal-type Max move that can decrease a foe's speed, Max Knuckle increases the userand their allies' attack stats, Max Starfall creates misty terrain for five turns to power-up Fairy-type moves, Max Phantasm decreases the defense of an opponent, and so on.
  • G-Max Snooze: In place of Max Darkness, the user lets loose a huge yawn that lulls foes into falling asleep on the next turn.

Abilities[]

  • Prankster: This ability gives priority to a status move, allowing it to go first.
  • Frisk: When it enters a battle, Grimmsnarl can check an opponent's held item.
  • Pickpocket: Grimmsnarl steals an item from a foe that made direct contact with him.

Feats[]

  • He can easily overpower Machamp, who can lift a mountain with just one arm, send a train flying with just one punch, and deliver 1000 megaton punches in just two seconds.

As Gigantamax Grimmsnarl[]

  • He can jump the world's tallest building in this state.
    • The world's tallest building is currently the Burj Khalifa, which stands 828.8 meters tall, meaning Grimmsnarl can easily jump higher than this.
  • Huge holes in Galar are bored by Gigantamax Grimmsnarl's power-packed drill kicks.

Faults and Weaknesses[]

  • Weak to Poison, Steel and Fairy type attacks or moves similar to them.
  • It's speed is it's lowest stat, despite appearing to be faster in Pokémon Camps.
  • Not as good with physical defense stats as much as it's special defense.
  • It's Gigantamax form can only be accessed in areas with dynamax energy.
  • At the current time, lacking in most feats.
