Intro[]
Carl: Corn mazes tend to be attractions of some sort, usually seeing if guests can make through the maze with little to no danger.
Yazo: But sometimes, these corn mazes feature monsters that want nothing more but to water corn with your entrails! Yup, we're in for a doozy, ladies and gentlemen! We should've done this battle like, two months ago, but who cares?
Carl: Shut up.
Yazo: Heh. Grimm Foxy, the Halloween themed, VR-exclusive Nightmare Animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy's.
Carl: And Zardy, SwankyBox's childhood character turned into a indie horror game... and a Friday Night Funkin mod.
Yazo: He's Carl and I'm Yazo!
Carl: And it's our job to analyze their armor, weapons, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Danger! Keep out when Grimm Foxy's in Death Battle![]
Yazo: Love 'em or hate 'em, Fazbear Entertainment really knows how to come back from a career-ending incident. The fact that this company has managed to stay afloat from, at the very least, 1983, is pretty god-damned impressive. Especially considering that they lost both of the original founders, and that something tragic happens like... every freaking day.
Carl: After losing yet another pizzeria to a fire, set off by one of the original founders and the other founder's son, burning most of the animatronics under Fazbear Entertainment's ownership, the company needed a new way to keep their company and brand afloat. So, naturally, they started to make another pizzeria. But in the meantime, Fazbear Entertainment turned to what many entertainment brands have.
Yazo: Video games! They figured since some game developer was created games based off of their urban legends and rumors, they figured they could do the same. So, soon enough, they compiled a VR game! Because VR games are soooo worth it, mostly filled with tech demos and other crap like that.
Carl: Thankfully, The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience was not one of those. Released by Fazbear Entertainment and developed by Silver Parasol Games, they made it to make light of the rumors surrounding the Fazbear brand.
Yazo: Yeah, apparently the in-universe version of Scott Cawthon has made Fazbear Entertainment look really bad. But, is he really bad if it's true?
Carl: Debatable. But, rumors and bad press aside, the game was released... well, sorta. The game was never actually released for the public. Instead, you play as someone play-testing the game, and play through the simulated versions of prior Five Nights at Freddy's. There was what you'd expect. VR remakes of FNaF 1, FNaF 2, FNaF 3, along with some new things. Levels where you'd have to survive in the dark, fix animatronics, repair ventilation, and levels based on FNaF 4.
Yazo: Yeah, but apparently, that wasn't enough. But rather than adding Sister Location or FNaF 6 or something like that, they added completely new levels, that being the Curse of Dreadbear DLC! This added a bunch of characters from prior FNaF games that were excluded from the original game, namely the Withered Animatronics, the main four Nightmare animatronics, the Jack-O-Animatronics, and two new ones.
Carl: There is Dreadbear, who the DLC is named after. Who's height is strangely inconsistent. He goes from a slightly-above-average height for an animatronic to, uh, 82 feet tall. But we're not here for Frankenstein's animatronic here. We're here for the second other new character. The stand-in for Jack-O-Foxy, it's Grimm Foxy.
Carl: Grimm Foxy is a Jack-O-Animatronic, much like Jack-O-Bonnie and Jack-O-Chica, only he's-
Yazo: Ten times cooler! The irrelevant rabbit and pumpkin-wielding chicken ain't got nothing on him! I mean, will you look at him? He's just so damn cool!
Carl: That is true. Grimm Foxy appeared twice in Help Wanted and then made a cameo appearance in Security Breach. Here's hoping he appears in Help Wanted 2, although my hopes aren't high. FNaF has a tendency to... waste characters.
Yazo: The Missing Children, The Toys, The Phantoms, Ennard, Lolbit, Yenndo, Bonnet, Vanessa, and now Grimm Foxy. Hell, you could add all of the Nightmares to that list as of Dittophobia! And you could even argue that He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named was wasted, considering that we were all gaslighted into thinking he was Glitchtrap and Burntrap. But nope, we got the Mimic instead. Man... fuck the Mimic.
Carl: Our... transgressions with FNaF aside, we still must admit that Grimm Foxy is quite cool. Sure, he only made two appearances, but it's still enough to make an impression. In the game, Danger! Keep Out!, Grimm Foxy acts just like his counterpart from the first game. He peaks out from the curtains in Pirate's Cove and prepares to charge. Use the light to keep him away when he's fully visible.
Yazo: But his by far best appearance is his solo appearance in the Corn Maze level in the Afraid of the Dark mode, which, fun fact, is the first free-roam FNaF ever introduced. Suck it, Security Breach! He wanders around the maze, dragging his sickle on objects and singing in a demonic voice.
Carl: In the maze are four gates and four keys. With each collected collected, Grimm Foxy becomes more aggressive and can find the player much faster. The only way to survive an encounter with Grimm Foxy is to hide from him as he charges at you.
Yazo: And trust me, picking a fight with this guy is the last thing you wanna do. Hiding is a much preferable option that trying to fight him head-on, especially with the few things he sports.
Carl: Being a FNaF character, Grimm Foxy is likely quiet stealthy. While we never see him do it, animatronics like himself are known for using the darkness to their advantage, hiding from their prey to jump them and kill them. Again, Grimm Foxy is never seen using it, but he probably could, given the chance.
Yazo: Sure, he ain't winning a game of Hide-And-Seek as a hider, but as a seeker? That's a whole different story! Especially with his sickle! Most variations of Foxy have a hook of some sort, unless you're a special case, like Funtime Foxy, Mangle, or Lolbit. But Grimm Foxy? Rather than a hook, he's got a sickle attached to his hand.
Carl: Sickles, also known as a grass hook, originate from the pre-Neolithic age, used to harvest and reap crops, such as grain. They've been dated back all the way to 18000 BC! And since, they've only improved.
Yazo: I'm sure those ancient people can rest easy, knowing that their invention that was instrumental to agriculutre is now being used as a murder weapon for a on-fire robot. Speaking of, Grimm Foxy's on fire. And fire burns at a standard temperature of 900 degrees Celsius. That's gonna burn you on touch. So yeah, you gotta aim pretty specifically when trying to hit this conflagarant canine, make sure you're hitting the metal parts and not the fire.
Carl: As for Grimm Foxy's last ability, he possesses the ability to teleport around the maze. No real reason as to why, but the reason was most likely... balancing. Avoiding Grimm Foxy would be nigh impossible if he didn't vanish after hiding from him.
Yazo: He also appeared in Security Breach in one of the Princess Quest games... and that's it. End of the sentence. He doesn't get anything from his brief cameo in that game. So, yeah, ending the arsenal on a high note, eh?
Carl: Grimm Foxy should scale to animatronics like Fredbear, who was capable of crushing skulls with his jaw. While you may be believed that since it was a child's skull, it's not as impressive, as children's skulls are not as sturdy as a normal adult's skull, all you need to do is turn to FNaF 2 and analyze the actual Bite of '87. It's implied that Mangle crushed the skull of one Jeremy Fitzgerald. While Jeremy's exact age is unknown, it can be presumed that he is within the young adult range, eighteen to twenty years old. So yes, this feat is still legit. This feat would require 2,300 newtons.
Yazo: But when it comes to actual physical strength, Grimm Foxy should scale to, uh, the Man behind the Slaughter, who could rip metal apart with his bare hands. That takes about 17 tons. Plus, he's super fast. He should scale to animatronics from the main series, who can move between cameras faster than a human can react.
Carl: Being made of mostly metal, Grimm Foxy can tank roughly around 20 tons of force. He can scale to Ballora, who took a few hits from the Scooper, a device specifically made for dismantling animatronics. And the Scooper is extremely impressive. One blow from the Scooper was enough to immediately empty out Michael Aft- I MEAN, Michael's body, scooping out all of his organs.
Yazo: But for as cool as he is, he does his weaknesses. Like the fact that light makes him retreat, which is something I find dumb. He's on fire, but light makes him retreat? What the fuck? And his other weakness is even dumber! He's a dumbass! He walks by the player even though he SAW them enter the damn cutouts!
Carl: Well, I wouldn't call him... a dumbass. I'd say it's more like he's careless and doesn't think when he charges. But I will admit, he has not showcased any... extreme cases of intelligence.
Yazo: Bah! Who needs intelligence when you can rush down your opponents and cut them to pieces with your badass sickle!? Grimm Foxy, that's who!
"How long can you lie in the puddle of your own blood?"
Zardy thinks of Death Battle as Foolhardy[]
Note: Zardy's Maze 2 is currently in development. This battle may end up being outdated eventually.
Carl: Starting development in 2018 and releasing the game 2020, the YouTuber known as SwankyBox, known for covering Nintendo Games and even horror games on another channel, created the game known as Zardy's Maze, a indie single-player horror game. The initial story is about as simple as can be.
Yazo: In the game, ya play as a farmer that owns a large cornfield. But one night, during the dead of night, the farmer notices that several large weeds have grown in their cornfield. So, arming themselves with their trusty axe and weird crank flashlight thing, the farmer ventures out into the maze, prepared to cut down the weeds. In and out. Twenty minute adventure, right?
Carl: Far from it. Because the farmer is not alone in the maze. Eight unique antagonists roam the maze, plus a few more, being strange creatures of different shapes and sizes. Some try and kill you, while others merely try and hinder your progress. And multiple of the same entity can exist, with one exception. Not even in the editable Challenge mode are you allowed to change this one specific enemy.
Yazo: That being the one that the game is named after. That being Zardy himself.
Carl: Now, bear with us for a moment, because Zardy's Maze lore is a bit complicated. The base game has nine endings. And that's not even mentioning how many endings that the second game is gonna have.
Yazo: Yeah, a few of this game's endings are something straight out of an ARG. Ya see, in one of the endings, you get a link to a video that shows some sort of meteorite falling from the sky and landing in the farmer's cornfield. A few seconds later, the meteor thing begins to glow blue, creating a beacon of sorts.
Carl: A few seconds later, Zardy appears on screen, staring at the camera. This gives the implication that Zardy and the rest of his minions are some sort of alien or extraterrestrial, or maybe he was a normal scarecrow that was turned into a living one by the meteor? It's a bit confusing and not entirely clear.
Yazo: So yeah, Zardy's some sort of otherworldy being from beyond the stars, supposedly. Looking at a few of the endings, Zardy's goal is to get something back that belongs to them, presumably stolen. What is it? Hell if I know! And in order to do that, they have to grow a bunch of weeds for some reason. And I thought FNaF lore was confusing.
Carl: It's probably be expanded upon during the second game. But from there... we don't have much else in terms of the story. There will be more to hopefully explain it in Zardy's Maze 2. This game's story is unfinished, so it's a bit difficult to make a proper analysis of the story.
Yazo: So lets move on from this bore-fest and move onto what Zardy can actually do, shall we?
Carl: To start is his primary weapon, his trusty and rusty hoe.
Yazo: *chuckle*
Carl: ...sigh... Anyways, a hoe, the FARMING utensil, have been around since 2500 BCE, used to remove weeds, clear soil, and harvest root crops. The one that Zardy wields seems to be a draw hoe, which tend to be about five feet in length all together. He uses this hoe to easily slit throat and crack skulls, which would take about 73 newtons.
Yazo: And he uses it to kill math teachers! Bonus points if you got that reference! Or just... look through FNaFpro52's Death Battles and see it for yourself. Either works.
Carl: Now is not the time to be advertising. Zardy's first actual ability is his ability to teleport, which he does by fading away and reappearing somewhere else. He mostly uses this ability to... run away after having a flashlight shined on him, although there is an ending where it suggests that Zardy snuck up on the player, supposedly using his teleportation, to kill them.
Yazo: Then is his ability to control vines! This ability is hinted at in Zardy's Maze, but is practically confirmed in his Friday Night Funkin mod. Oh, speaking of, Carl, you should probably explain how we're going to be handling that FnF stuff.
Carl: Right. Under normal circumstances, we would not include Friday Night Funkin mods as a way to scale characters, but there are a few exceptions to that. The main reason why this is, is because FnF mods with non-original characters (such as the Among Us mod) tend to be made by fans. However, Vs. Zardy was made by Swanky Box himself, the person who made Zardy in the first place. While, yes, the question of if it is canon, the mod is... questionable, we'll be compositing Zardy for this, mostly because with it, he gains access to a lot more feats, his arsenal is expanded upon, and this fight actually becomes a lot closer.
Yazo: With that aside, lemme continue. He supposedly used his control over the vines to produce those giant weeds that you have to cut down, but he also used this to ensnare Boyfriend and keep Girlfriend trapped and suspended in the air. The vines themselves seem to have blue thorns on them, which could possibly dig into a victim's skin, leading to puncture wounds around the body.
Carl: And then there's Zardy's ability to detect the player. No matter where they are, Zardy will always know where the player is, even if they are hiding inside of the corn itself, which even other enemies, such as Pumpkin Jack, cannot do. This implies that Zardy has some sort of enhanced senses that allow him to track the player easily.
Yazo: Then there's his next ability: his rage. This is more predominate in the FnF mod, but one of the endings in Zardy's Maze implies that he must not lose his patience, which sorta implies that his rage is a deadly thing. In the FnF mod, it's implies that Zardy begins to grow restless as he continues to rap against Boyfriend, and turns into this weird flickering version of himself. Granted, this version only stayed for about a minute before he automatically vanished, despite no light source being shined down on him. So, it seems that the rage he feels makes him more bloodthirsty, while also making him faster. While Foolhardy is already a fast song, it does become a bit faster when Zardy turns to this flickering version of himself.
Carl: And then there was the form he took on during Bushwhack, where most of his body darkened, save for his eyes and mouth, which began to glow yellow. This form, uh, doesn't really do much. All it really does is disappear half-way through the song.
Yazo: Then there's his skills. Sure, in gameplay, Zardy drags his hoe across the ground, thus revealing his location, but in one ending, he manages to sneak up on the player and kill them without them noticing until it was too late. That must mean that Zardy's pretty stealthy. And he's also got the ability to scream... really loudly. This could be used to disorient his foe or give them hearing damage.
Carl: And then there's his final ability, his control over his minions. While it's only really seen that he has control over Cable Crow and the Pumpkin Crawlers, as shown from Vs. Zardy Week 2, it should be no issue to assume that Zardy can control the other monsters that roam the corn maze. Like Pumpkin Jack, the monster that can have eleven versions of it at a time and has sharp hand rakes for hands. They also have a giant variant known as King Jack.
Yazo: Cable Crow, who shoots cables out of its hands to grapple to different places. Brutes, who float off of the ground and have massive sledgehammers. Rattlers, that also shoot cables from their hands to pull people to them. Each of these can have four at a time. Oh, and also the Droughts, I guess. They just teleport anyone who gets too close to them. Where? It seems to vary, almost random. But if Lady Luck ain't on your side, you could teleported into the corn or near an enemy. Four of all of the ones I mentioned can be spawned at one time.
Carl: Then there's the two passive ones that do not have an expressed limit as to how many can spawn, that being Pumpkin Crawlers and Cornstalkers. Pumpkin Crawlers wrap around the leg of anyone who steps over one of their vines, laid up across the ground. And Cornstalkers block victims from passing unless they are cut down, usually preventing someone from running away from Zardy or one of the other enemies, usually appearing behind victims.
Yazo: And that does it for Zardy's arsenal. And now we move onto the feats.
Carl: As was mentioned prior, Zardy has stated that his hoe has cracked skulls, but his feats scale past that. Like scaling him to Cable Crow, who managed to throw the player into a pole so hard that it killed them. In order to kill a human with blunt force in a single hit, you'd have to exert, at minimum, 3,000 newtons. Taking the average weight of an American, which is 90 kg (or 200 lbs), that would mean that Cable Crow is throwing the player at 33 meters per second (73 miles per hour).
Yazo: The strength to do that is insane. That speed is pretty close to actual athlete throwing speeds, which is about 40 m/s (90 mph), and they aren't throwing 90 kg humans around. And another thing to mention, the player doesn't lose any momentum or even begin to fall down due to gravity taking its course, they just kept going straight, so the strength to do this is likely way higher than we think it does.
Carl: Zardy's next feat was the ability to kill Boyfriend. That may not sound impressive at first, but Boyfriend can tank having Girlfriend thrown at him... these names are horrible. Couldn't think of anything better than Boyfriend and Girlfriend? Whatever. During Week 7, Girlfriend is thrown at Boyfriend, who manages to tank and catch her. Considering how she was launched, Girlfriend was likely slamming into Boyfriend with a force of around 14 tons.
Yazo: And he could catch Boyfriend off guard and easily kill him. Especially considering that feat of catching Girlfriend, which doubles as a durability feat and a speed feat. Being able to blitz Boyfriend puts Zardy being able to move at subsonic speeds, moving faster than him.
Carl: As for his last feat, Zardy should be vastly superior to the Pumpkin Crawlers, which are capable of taking three swings from an axe before being split into pieces. Axes tend to swing at 29 m/s (65 mph) and weigh in at about 3 kg (7 lbs). One hit from an axe would exert about 87 newtons. Three hits would exert over 250 newtons. But this may actually be a understatement. The player's axe is capable of taking down the giant weeds around the maze, which are about 4.5 meters (15 feet) tall and their roots should extend to at least 1.8 meters (6 feet). And it took three hits from the axe to destroy these massive weeds. Comparing these weeds to trees seem like a probably comparison. Trees can usually take 612 kg (1350 lbs) before breaking. Dividing this by 3 since it took three swings to down the weed, that means the axe can probably generate 204 kg (450 lbs).
Yazo: And according to Vs Battle Wiki's Attack Potency page, that's Small Building level. Whoo! That's it for feats. Onto weaknesses.
Carl: His only real weakness is light. Shining a bright enough light on Zardy can cause him to freeze and eventually fade away, forcing him to make a temporary retreat. Oh, and the fact that Boyfriend and Girlfriend managed to escape him... twice. So did the farmer, who retreated into the tunnels where the weed roots awaited, leading to Zardy's Maze 2.
Yazo: But hey, the sequel can wait! Because challenging Zardy would be a very Foolhardy move.
"You may think you're safe... That what you took is safe... But I assure you, it is not."
Pre-Death Battle[]
Carl: Alright, the combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities. Let's end this debate once and for all!
Yazo: And right now, it's time for a DEATH BATTLEEEEE!!!

Death Battle![]
In the brightness of the moon, in the midst of a dark corn field, several people were running through it. Actually, only four people were running through. The first being a farmer, armed with his trusty axe and flashlight. He was running through in an attempt to chop down those giant weeds that had appeared strangely in his corn maze. Although there had been a series of other changes as well. Strange cardboard cutouts that littered his maze, along with other Halloween props.
"Freakin' teens... can't even clean up their damn Halloween decorations..." The farmer muttered to himself as he ran through. He was gonna give those kids an earful if he managed to escape. Although escaping was a bit of a problem, as the cutouts and giant weeds weren't the only thing different about his maze. There were monsters roaming about.
He turned the corner in the maze, before accidentally bumping into something. He fell backwards. dropping his axe in the process. Slightly annoyed, he shined his flashlight forward to reveal the person he had bumped into. It was a woman with blonde hair. She had fallen back as well. She rubbed her head as well before standing up and helping the farmer up. This was Vanessa, the beta-tester for FNaF VR Help Wanted.
"S-sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you." The girl said as the farmer was pulled to his feet. He reached for his axe, but right before he could grab it, it was swiped away by a vine from the within the corn, before being pulled in.
"Fuckin' Pumpkin Crawlers..." The farmer muttered, before glancing around. "You gotta get outta here. There's monsters round these parts. I gotta chop down the giant weeds before I leave." The farmer quickly explained, before grabbing Vanessa's arm and attempt to pull her in the direction he had just from, only to spot what he had been running from.
A Pumpkin Jack was running towards them and rapidly approaching. The farmer cursed and glanced in the direction where Vanessa had been running from. In that direction there was some sort of weird orange glow that obscured the farmer from properly seeing it. Pumpkin Jack made it to them first. The farmer and Vanessa managed to both dodge the swings from Pumpkin Jack, before the farmer used his flashlight to stun Pumpkin Jack in place.
Vanessa pulled the farmer aside, as whatever was producing the orange glow slammed into Pumpkin Jack and into the walls of the corn maze. The farmer and Vanessa began to run away, before hearing someone shout from that direction.
"BOYFRIEND! GIRLFRIEND! I'M GOING TO WATER THE MAZE WITH YOUR GUTS!" It shouted with pure malice and rage. From that direction, Boyfriend and Girlfriend were running as well. They ran right past the farmer and Vanessa and turned the corner. The farmer spied what was chasing the young couple, and started following them. Vanessa yelped and ran after the farmer as well.
Emerging from the walls of the corn maze after crashing into Pumpkin Jack, Grimm Foxy took steps back into the maze, before idly humming to himself, eyeing down the prey that ran from him. But before he could start chasing, he heard something. Metal scraping against dirt. He glanced to the side to see Zardy approaching.
Zardy came to a stop and brought his hoe out of the dirt, and set it in front of him, resting his arms atop the end of the hoe, tilting his head as he stared at Grimm Foxy.
"Huh. Ain't seen you around these parts. Ya don't look like somethin' I spawned..." Zardy mutters. Grimm Foxy snarls at the scarecrow before darting off, after his escaping prey. Zardy chuckled before vanishing into thin air.
FIGHT![]
The four humans continued running as they were pursued by Grimm Foxy, along with Zardy, who was repeatedly teleporting after the group. Grimm Foxy managed to catch up to the humans running away, his feet pounding against the dirt ground that layed out the maze. The farmer spun around and flashed Grimm Foxy with his flashlight, which stunned the Nightmare Animatronic for a few seconds, but did little to hinder Grimm Foxy, as he was chasing them soon enough.
The four continued running. Zardy appeared in front of Vanessa and swung his hoe at the woman, but she managed to dodge it, ducking under the swing. She ran past him. Zardy chuckled before vanishing, as Grimm Foxy charged past where he used to be standing. Zardy teleported all around them. The farmer tried to shine the light on Zardy, but the scarecrow was teleporting too fast in order to be properly shined.
A fork in the road appeared, with two split paths. The group was about to run towards the right, but several vines emerged from the ground and cut them off. They quickly recovered and managed to head towards the left path, managing to avoid Grimm Foxy charging past them. Rather than stopping to back up, Grimm Foxy just kept walking through the corn, using his sickle to chop through the corn stalks.
The group continued down the left path. Several monsters manifested and began to chase the four. Boyfriend managed to barely evade a Brute slamming his mallet down on him. Girlfriend ducked down to avoid a cable from the Rattler. The farmer sidestepped a Pumpkin Jack before kicking it away. And Vanessa avoided a Cable Crow zipping past her.
Zardy chuckled as he watched on, standing atop a vine that he had brought up from the ground, resting his hoe over his shoulder. He scanned the corn maze. He could detect everything within the maze. Keeping track of the four people running through, he began to influence the different monsters and direct them towards the four. He spun the farmer's axe in his other hand and snickered to himself.
The group had to slow down, due to a mass amount of Pumpkin Crawlers, and they had to take careful steps to jump over them. Once they made it past, from the corn wall came Grimm Foxy's sickle, having chopped through an entire pathway of corn. He stepped back into the maze and glanced at the four. They tried to back away, but ended up backing up into a Cornstalker.
From the corn, the axe was thrown at a fast speeds, and slammed into the ground at the farmer's feet. The farmer grabbed the axe and began to hack away at the Cornstalker, but they didn't have enough time, as Grimm Foxy began sprinting towards them. In a moment's notice, Vanessa grabbed the three of them and they all quickly hid behind one of the cutouts.
Grimm Foxy slammed into the Cornstalker, smashing right through it. Zardy watched from a distance, this time he was standing atop one of the weeds. He frowned upon seeing Grimm Foxy looking around, losing the four to a very simple diversion.
"What a simple minded beast." Zardy muttered before sighing and teleporting away. He reappeared in front of the cutout. He swung his hoe above his head and smashed the cardboard cutout to pieces, revealing the four people hiding behind them. Before any of them could react, vines erupted from the ground beneath them and ensnared all four of them, suspending them in the air.
Zardy teleported into the air as he continued to grow the vine, bringing the four further into the air. He walked over to the mass of vines that wrapped around Boyfriend. He raised his hoe under the rapper's chin.
"So... you think you can rap against me, then rap against me again, and then run away like consequences don't matter you? How blind and foolish must you be?" Zardy asked Boyfriend, who only beeped in response. Girlfriend began thrashing against the vines in an attempt to escape as Zardy reeled his hoe back, prepared to strike and kill Boyfriend.
But before Zardy could deliver a killing blow, the entire vine began to shake, nearly throwing Zardy off of his feet. Zardy recovered enough to continue walking while the vine continued to shake, although it seemed like it was something shaking it, specifically ground the ground. Zardy glanced down to see Grimm Foxy using his sickle and claws to climb up the vine. The several sharp objects that were being embedded into the vine was causing it to become unstable. Plus, the heat and fire that Grimm Foxy was giving was slowly setting it ablaze.
"How foolish." Zardy muttered, before glancing back to the victims ensnared in vines. He waved his hands and the vines moved, positioning all four of them over the cornfield. He predicted that the vine was going to collapse in a few seconds, unable to support itself after how many holes had been stabbed into it and the fire that set it ablaze.
"Enjoy your trip down. If you manage to survive, I'll find you and finish you off later." Zardy said, before the vines suddenly released the four, dropping them into the cornfield below, disappearing. As this happened, the vine began to stumble and fall. Zardy was about to hop off to try and strike Grimm Foxy while falling, but Grimm Foxy suddenly teleported next to Zardy, searching for the four of them.
"...So this beast possesses the ability to warp at will as well? Interesting..." Zardy says. Grimm Foxy spun around and faced Zardy, before snarling at the scarecrow.
"You're interfering with my ploys. I'll have to deal with you first if I want to focus on the other four." Zardy said, before suddenly being tackled by Grimm Foxy. The vine collapsed, falling partially onto the corn maze, setting it ablaze. Slowly, the fire spread throughout the maze. Grimm Foxy and Zardy soared towards the ground.
Zardy vanished and Grimm Foxy crashed to the ground. The animatronic got up as Zardy's chuckling could be heard, echoing off of the corn plants and fire as it continued to spread. Grimm Foxy glanced around while snarling at the crackle of fire and low chuckling. Several of the other enemies emerged from the darkness and ran at the Jack-O-Animatronic.
Grimm Foxy swung his sickle at a Pumpkin Jack, slicing it in half. He was suddenly struck in the back of the head with a Brute's hammer. Grimm Foxy quickly recovered, before leaping at the Brute and biting his head, crushing it. A Rattler fired its cable at Grimm Foxy, snagging the animatronics arm. Rattler tried to pull Grimm Foxy towards itself, but Grimm Foxy tugged back and yanked it towards him instead. Grimm Foxy crushed the Rattler's head with his foot.
Suddenly, something moved as a blur past Grimm Foxy and picked the animatronic up. However, Grimm Foxy was too heavy for the Cable Crow, so Cable Crow just dropped Grimm Foxy into the middle of the cornfield, before zipping off towards another pole. Grimm Foxy got back up as Pumpkin Crawlers appeared around him, before reaching towards him with their vines. Girmm Foxy swung his sickle, slashing through all of their vines, plus several corn plants in the process. Grimm Foxy made quick work of the Pumpkin Crawlers, before slashing through several more corn plants and making his way back into the pathways of the maze.
Grimm Foxy snarled and glanced around. A Drought suddenly appeared and tried to envelop Grimm Foxy, but Grimm Foxy let out a guttural howl that caused the Drought to disperse. Grimm Foxy felt a tap at his shoulder, before spinning around and swinging his sickle, hitting nothing. Grimm Foxy was then struck in the back of the head by Zardy's hoe. Grimm Foxy slashed his sickle at the scarecrow behind him, but Zardy backed away and dodged it, before striking Grimm Foxy in the foot. Vines grew from the ground and struck Grimm Foxy in the stomach, throwing the animatronic several feet away.
Grimm Foxy got back up, before slashing a vine that Zardy summoned to try and grab the animatronic. Grimm Foxy charged at Zardy, trying to bite the scarecrow, but he barely managed to side-step the attack. But before Zardy could counter-attack, Grimm Foxy managed to snag his arm with his claws.
RIIIIIP!!!
Zardy's arm had been torn clean off of his body. He teleported away, hiding within the corn. He inspected where his arm used to be.
"This monster is much stronger than I initially gave it credit for... I must end this." Zardy said, wincing in pain as Grimm Foxy dropped the limb to the ground and began to look around for the scarecrow. He stood up, using his hoe to push himself to his feet. He vanished into thin air. Suddenly, several more of the different enemies spawned.
They surrounded Grimm Foxy, who howled at them. They all started to run at the animatronic, who fought back viciously. He slashed through a Pumpkin Jack, bit a Cable Crow, impaled a Brute, threw a Rattler aside, smashed a Pumpkin Crawler. But they were also landing hits. Grimm Foxy was hit by Pumpkin Jack's rake hands, smashed by a Brute's hammer, grabbed and slammed into the corn by a Cable Crow, and dragged to the floor to be beaten up by a Rattler.
After what felt like forever, Grimm Foxy had managed to slay all of the monsters... or so he thought. Grimm Foxy hadn't escaped unscathed, as his animatronic body was littered with dents, slashes, and cracked bits. Suddenly, Grimm Foxy heard footsteps behind him. The animatronic spun around to see a giant Pumpkin Jack, known as King Jack, standing there, towering over Grimm Foxy.
King Jack rushed forward and kicked Grimm Foxy, throwing the animatronic into the air, before being slammed by both of King Jack's rake hands. Grimm Foxy got back up and pushed the rake hands away, before tackling right into King Jack, causing the two to both tumble away. Grimm Foxy tried to stab into King Jack's head, but the oversized Pumpkin Jack blocked it with one of its rake hands, before using the other to deliver a punch that sent Grimm Foxy rolling to the ground.
King Jack and Grimm Foxy both stood up. They ran at each other and swung their weapons. Grimm Foxy used his sickle to block the massive rake hands, before grabbing his arms and pulling him towards the Jack-O-Animatronic, before using his claws to stab into the monster's face. But just as he killed King Jack, he felt something snap.
He dropped King Jack's lifeless corpse to the ground to see that his sickle had snapped from the pressure of blocking King Jack. Grimm Foxy heard cackling behind him. He spun around to see Zardy, just standing there. Grimm Foxy let out a loud mechanical scream before charging directly at Zardy. But right before he could touch Zardy, the scarecrow vanished.
As Grimm Foxy blazed right past where Zardy used to be standing, he was suddenly wrapped up by another vine. The vine constricted around Grimm Foxy, slowly crushing the animatronic's body, damaging him more and rendering the animatronic helpless. The vine lifted Grimm Foxy into the air, before slamming him into the ground with a sickening crunch.
The animatronic tried to get up, but his damaged body was failing him, releasing static sparks and twitching due to excessive casualties. Zardy reappeared with a chuckle. He walked over to Grimm Foxy and kneeled down next to the animatronic.
"Mindless beast. It ends here." Zardy said before standing up. Grimm Foxy weakly reached out towards Zardy's leg, but the scarecrow kicked his hand away, causing it to fall to the ground, limp. Zardy cackled once more before raising his hoe over his head. He swung it down with all of his might, smashing Grimm Foxy's head to large pieces.
K.O!!!
Zardy brought his hoe up and rested it upon his shoulder as he stared at the broken robot in front of him, as the maze burned around him and the animatronic's own fire sputtered out. He glanced around, before slowly walking away.
"Now, to find those four..." He mutters to himself, before suddenly vanishing, disappearing to go find the farmer, Vanessa, Boyfriend, and Girlfriend, as the flames spread from the maze and began to consume Grimm Foxy's remains. The screen fades to black with Zardy's laughter.

Yazo: Wow, that was a-maze-ing! And a FNaF character lost in a FNaFpro52 Fanon Death Battle! That's new! But, uh, I was pretty sure that Grimm Foxy was gonna win. You sure the scarecrow winning wasn't a fluke?
Carl: Make no mistake, this fight was very close. If we ran it one hundred times, Grimm Foxy could've actually won about forty-five of those battles. That's how close this match was.
Yazo: Better prepare to be all ears, cause this one is gonna be a bit complicated. Grimm Foxy and Zardy were fairly close in terms of both power output and speed. While Zardy could exert 0.22 tons, Grimm Foxy could scale to characters that could exert 0.25 tons. That's a 60 lb difference. So, yeah, while Grimm Foxy edged out a bit, Zardy wasn't far behind.
Carl: And speed was no different. Both were very comparable to each other, being able to blitz characters. While Zardy could blitz Boyfriend, Grimm Foxy scaled to characters who could move faster than a human could react. Both were pretty similar speed feets, but Grimm Foxy was still a tiny bit faster, although they were so close that it hardly mattered. And that's not even mentioning that both could teleport, so speed was essentially tied.
Yazo: But Carl, wait, Grimm Foxy's durability and stamina was much higher than Zardy's. Wouldn't this fight go until Grimm Foxy got in that lucky shot? Especially considering that Grimm Foxy only needed one hit to kill Zardy, right?
Carl: That was the biggest question of this matchup: Could Zardy find a way to kill Grimm Foxy before Grimm Foxy outlasted him and killed the scarecrow? The answer? Well, this battle is so close that it could've gone either way. But we decided to give it to Zardy, given his superior intelligence and greater abilities.
Yazo: Grimm Foxy doesn't appear to be that smart, at least when compared to other FNaF characters. His intelligence seems to be more comparable to an intelligent animal over a human. And since Zardy was no idiot, as given by Zardy's Maze's endings and dialogue with Boyfriend. In fact, he actually seems to be pretty damn smart.
Carl: Zardy would definitely catch onto Grimm Foxy's carelessness and use it in his favor. Especially with Zardy's abilities. Not only has Zardy shown to teleport a lot more than Grimm Foxy, his minions and vine manipulation could easily overpower and overwhelm Grimm Foxy. And also, Zardy was much stealthier than Zardy.
Yazo: Grimm Foxy ain't exactly subtle when it comes to chasing prey. Zardy, on the other hand, could be pretty sneaky when he wanted to, like in that ending when he snuck up on the player and killed them. Even if Grimm Foxy was stealthier, Zardy's enhanced senses meant that Grimm Foxy wasn't hiding anywhere.
Carl: But Grimm Foxy wasn't completely outclassed. As we mentioned, Grimm Foxy does technically have the stat trinity, albeit by a small amount. But he was much physically stronger than Zardy. While being able to throw a human with enough force to kill them is impressive, Grimm Foxy's scaling to the man behind the slaughter meant that he could rip metal apart, which was much stronger.
Yazo: But lifting strength doesn't exactly mean much when your foe is outsmarting you in basically every way. But would any of Zardy's advantages matter if Grimm Foxy was so durable? Grimm Foxy's durability was around 20 tons, mind you. Zardy's output of 0.22 tons shouldn't even phase Foxy, right?
Carl: That's what we thought at first. But, do you recall how many enemies Zardy has control over? Eleven Pumpkin Jacks, plus a larger King Jack, four Cable Crows, four Brutes, four Rattlers, and a bunch more that serve as hindrances. All of these enemies scale to the same things that Zardy scales to as well. At most, they could create a combined force of 104 tons, which was leagues above Grimm Foxy's durability. That's City Block, by the way.
Yazo: Oh, and one more thing. It's not a huge advantage, but we'd like to address it anyways. Could the brightness that Grimm Foxy exudes hinder Zardy and force him to teleport away? Uh, yeah, that's a big fat no. Comparing Grimm Foxy to a campfire means that he's likely producing 13 Lumens. Meanwhile, it took several seconds of a flashlight shining on Zardy to make him disappear, which have a minimum of 100 Lumens. Grimm Foxy may be a bit sore on Zardy's eyes, but it ain't gonna help.
Carl: Grimm Foxy was certainly the most difficult opponent of Zardy's life and could've won, but Zardy was too smart, too tricky, and had exactly what he needed to beat Grimm Foxy.
Yazo: Grimm Foxy just got buried Beneath the Bramble. Aw shucks.
Carl: The winner is Zardy.

NEXT TIME ON DEATH BATTLE![]
Masks can hold great power. But be careful, or you might lose yourself to it.
"I went to great lengths to get that legendary mask. When I finally had it... I could sense the doom of a dark omen brewing. It was that unwelcome feeling that makes your hair stand on end. And now... that imp has it..."
But in these two's cases, the masks claimed their wearers, turning them into puppets for the evil that laid within.
"Show me the madness that lies within!"
