Description[]

Full Metal Alchemist VS Metal Gear Rising! Powers are not always difficult to control, so they must never fall into the wrong hands. Unfortunately, these villains are the worst ones to have superpowers; and flawlessly use their gifts for their own needs. Who will out perform the other?

Interlude[]

(*Cue: Invader - Jim Johnston*)

Wiz: The power of invulnerability can be difficult to control, which is why only certain people can wield it.

Boomstick: Too bad life isn't fair, because two evil people were granted this opportunity, and sure as hell don't do good things with it.

Wiz: The stated characters are Greed, The Ultimate Shield...

Boomstick: And Senator Armstrong, the Man with a Dream. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their Weapons, Armor, and Skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Greed[]

(*Cue: To Be King - Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.*)

Wiz: In a world where Alchemy, the supposed transformation of matter, is a commonly used form of technology...

Boomstick: You'll see it being used for personal, sometimes evil goals. Father, the main antagonist of the series, created beings called Homunculi to work for him. Each one was loyal to Father and named after a deadly sin that defined them as characters. Like the Smurfs.

Wiz: Each Homunculus possessed their own special abilities, and arguably represented each evil part of Father's personality.

Boomstick: My son actually followed those genetics.

Wiz: Really? What part of you does he represent?

Boomstick: The asshole part. He drove off in my car and never came back. I guess he's still pissed about me naming him after a gun at birth.

Wiz: Like Boomstick's son, their set personality dictated their wants and needs. One of these Homunculi was named Greed. And I'm sure you can guess what he was like.

Greed: I want everything you can possibly imagine. I want money and women, power and sex, status, glory! I demand the finer things! And of course, I crave eternal life.

Boomstick: And he has a nasty habit of flipping people off. He's kind of a douche. Anyway, Greed's need for everything valuable clashes with the adventure of the Elric Brothers. Alphonse, the brother of Edward Elric, has his soul bound to his suit of armor. Greed demands to know the secret to that, since he believes that is the key to eternal life. He doesn't achieve his goal, but he makes two new enemies that day.

Wiz: After a battle with Edward that Greed loses, King Bradley, or Wrath if you prefer his natural name, is found slaughtering Greed's underlings. Greed attacks Bradley, but is incapacitated and taken back to Father.

Boomstick: So Greed lost to anime Deathstroke? I'm not sure how to feel about that. Speaking of feeling, Father doesn't give two shits about Greed's loss. Offering him a second chance, Greed refuses and is liquefied in a boiling vat. And that was the end of Greed.

Wiz: Well...not exactly.

Boomstick: WHAT?

(*Cue: Greed Theme - Fullmetal Alchemist*)

Wiz: Ling, an ally of the Elric Brothers, gets Greed's essence injected into him, creating a mental battle for dominance between Greed and Ling's souls. Greed gains control of the body and his powers, losing any previous memories in the process. After killing an old friend, Greed regains those lost memories and tries to attack Bradley, only to retreat soon after.

Boomstick: Eventually, Greed becomes an official part of Edward Elric's team, and assists them until he dies in the final battle, realizing that companionship was all he wanted. He ends like a 2000's Disney movie.

Wiz: Greed is a force to be reckoned with nonetheless. He can move at supersonic reaction and body speeds, and his powers allow him to produce more powerful hits. He can coat his limbs in a powerful shield that serves defensive purposes. He even has tough and razor sharp fingernails if the shield isn't enough.

Boomstick: Greed has been shown to keep fighting after fatal shots, stabs, and more! His alchemy gives him enhanced strength, speed, regeneration, and most of all; Durability.

Wiz: He is skilled enough to keep up with the Elric Brothers; and he becomes even greater at fighting once he is in Ling's body. If it weren't for the interruption, he would've taken Bradley down for good.

Boomstick: It's like he became Bruce Lee! But besides the martial arts and superhuman enhancements: he has one popular trump card: the Ultimate Shield.

Greed grins as his body and face is covered in a metallic substance, monologuing in the process

Wiz: The Ultimate Shield is what sets Greed apart from other Alchemists. This graphene shield gives Greed a foolproof and bulletproof barrier that is so powerful that you can't hurt him without breaking a bone in the process. It is stated to be as hard as the toughest of Diamonds; allowing him to withstand several attacks without any trouble. He's smashed through one of Edward Elric's rock-like attacks and once caused a truck to explode just by inserting his hand into it. He even once managed to take a shot from a rocket launcher and was still alive afterwards.

Boomstick:, However, Greed is incredibly cocky; which tends to spell trouble for him. He has a habit of talking shit to his opponents, and has given away his weaknesses before. He has been taken down by much more skilled opponents, and his ultimate shield doesn't protect his eyes or mouth; which is how Bradley beat him. Greed cannot use his shield until he is fully regenerated beforehand. Sometimes, he'll even take damage with the shield on: like when Isumi Curtis knocked his ass down and even got through the shield with a single kick. Greed's transformation also takes a minute, leaving his opponents shield at the same time; meaning one could strike while one of those defenses is down. Plus, he has an important little object in him called a Philosopher's Stone, which is arguable the most important part of his body. If that little stone is taken from him and destroyed, he'll drop harder than my Ex Wife on a Trampoline.

Wiz: However, Greed's improved Martial Arts do to being in Ling's body may allow him to avoid some of these weaknesses, but nothing is proven because the Ultimate Shield is not used as much once Greed is reborn.

Boomstick: Man, Greed sounds awesome. Why couldn't HE be my son instead?

Wiz: Be careful, Boomstick. Your son watches this show.

Boomstick: Well, jokes on him. I spent all his college funds before he left.

Wiz:...Why are we still talking about this?

Greed: They weren't my "friends". Henchmen are like money and women: possessions. And killing them is like stealing from me. And NOBODY steals from me!

Senator Armstrong[]

(*Cue: The Star Spangled Banner*)

Boomstick: Wait, we're doing Armstrong?

Wiz: Yes.

Boomstick: Oh, this will be fun.

Wiz: Around the late 1900's, a young boy by the name of Steven Armstrong was destined for greatness. Armstrong joined University of Texas; in which he excelled in his football performances

Boomstick: Armstrong also showed admirable integrity. While he thoroughly enjoyed Football, he decided he wanted to help the United States however he could: in this case by joining the Navy. Too bad for Football. He could've gone pro if he hadn't joined the Navy.

Senator Armstrong: Could've gone pro if I hadn't joined the Navy.

Boomstick: Sounds better coming from him.

(*Cue: A Soul Can't be Cut*)

Wiz: After serving in the Navy, Armstrong moved to Colorado and further enhanced his physique; since the Navy left him with experience, but not a satisfying amount. He became incredibly fit, but further toughened himself up with-

Boomstick and Armstrong: Nanomachines, son.

Wiz:...Yes. The use of Nanomachines boosted Armstrong's Strength, Speed, and Durability past a cyborg soldier. Armstrong eventually moved to Colorado to pursue a political career. Around 2016, Armstrong delivered his speech to boost approval ratings, which was risky due to his connection with Desperado Enforcement LLC, a shady organization. Armstrong dismisses the warning, believing that money is the only thing that matter to others.

Boomstick: Of course, he had a crazy perspective. Armstrong became Senator soon after, but set his sights on being elected President on the United States. He wants to set America back to when it was the top nation, and is willing to make sacrifices in order to make it happen. The man believes that America is rotten, and he's the one to cleanse it.

Wiz: A lot of people actually agree with his philosophy.

Boomstick: Well, the game did predict the future.

Senator Armstrong: I'll make America great again!

Boomstick: Not sure how well that line aged.

Wiz: Since Armstrong is a resourceful man, he gets his hands on an EXCELCUS and a team of warriors to work for him: the Winds of Destruction. After recruiting the last member, his plans are halted by Raiden, who kills every one of Armstrong's crew until he finally faces the man himself.

Boomstick: Armstrong kicks his and Blade Wolf's ass, but eventually dies once his heart is torn out and crushed in front of him. It's not like he didn't deserve it though. Armstrong and his partner Sundowner have been kidnapping children and harvesting their brains for their own twisted scheme. But that's a story for another day.

(*Cue: It Has to Be this Way*)

Wiz: Due to serving in football and the Navy, Armstrong is an excellent fighter. He has traded blows with Raiden and Jetstream Sam alike: in which he beat one and nearly killed the other: had Blade Wolf not saved Raiden.

Boomstick: Armstrong is also incredibly smart, due to almost being elected President and graduating from university of Texas. Anyway, now that we're done with normal attributes; let's check out his Nanomachines.

Wiz: Armstrong's Nanomachines grant him impressive abilities. He's stronger: as shown when he snapped Raiden's blade, threw him like a ragdoll, and punched the EXCELCUS hard enough to explode it.

Boomstick: He's faster, since he can dodge and counter hits from Raiden in Ripper mode, and tougher due to Nanomachines that allowed him to survive a massive explosion and sword strikes from Jetstream Sam and Raiden. Say, let's talk more about those.

Wiz: Armstrong wouldn't be who he was without his Nanomachines. The tech he uses allows his body to harden into a nearly indestructible substance that boosts his power further. He can tank explosions and hits from Raiden and his weapons, and even endured thousands of powerful point-blank hits and didn't even flinch. He gets his Nanomachines from the EXCELCUS, but can use his energy to lift machines and water them down to pure Nanomachines to use.

Boomstick: He can even create shockwaves just by stomping his foot hard enough. If you think you don't want that power, you're lying to yourself. Hell, even manipulate fire to attack his opponents with. Yet his most powerful tool is his Aura, which enhances his power to unbelievable levels.

Wiz: I know what you're thinking-

Boomstick: How do Armstrong's clothes look so clean during a fight? Wa-

Wiz: Washing Machines, son.

Boomstick: Dammit, Wiz. I told you earlier that I was saving that pun for myself.

Wiz: Clever jokes aside, you're probably thinking that Armstrong is overpowered. However, his weaknesses can sometimes be larger than his strengths. His Nanomachines cannot cover his entire body, only reacting in response to physical trauma. His flesh is exposed for a short time, and he is much less durable under his shield. Specifically his heart. It has even been stated that eventually, Armstrong's Nanomachines can run out of power.

Boomstick: Plus, he can get pretty angry, which may throw him off. Like when Raiden made the mother of all omelettes.

Senator Armstrong: You can't fret over every egg!

Boomstick: And he can get incredibly cocky if he thinks he's won. In terms of experience, he hasn't fought anyone like him: which certainly won't help him in the battle.

Wiz: Well, even then...Boomstick, what's wrong?

Boomstick clutches his head in a daze.

Boomstick: All those memes...too many-

Boomstick suddenly collapses.

Wiz: Well, that shouldn't have happened.

Senator Armstrong: America is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it — we need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. BURN IT DOWN! And from the ashes, a new America will be born. Evolved, but untamed! The weak will be purged, and the strongest will thrive — free to live as they see fit, they'll make America great again! In my new America, people will die and kill for what they BELIEVE! Not for money. Not for oil! Not for what they're told is right. Every man will be free to fight his own wars!

Pre-Death Battle[]

(*Cue: Wiz and Boomstick*)

Wiz: Are you still mad at me?

Boomstick: Well, yeah. Anyone would be if they woke up to you trying to slice their fucking head open.

Wiz: Those memes could've given you a serious tumor. I had to do something.

Boomstick: Like call a damn ambulance?

Wiz: They would've charged more, given the circumstances. Look, I'll give you one revenge shot for the season. Deal?

Boomstick: Fine.

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.

Boomstick: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!

DEATH BATTLE[]

(*Cue: End of Umbrella - Resident Evil 4*)

Denver, Colorado

The setting sun beamed past a barrier of skyscrapers. Several military vehicles were lined up beside each other, having camped in the abandoned area for hours already. Armed Soldiers, human and cybernetically enhanced alike, fulfilled patrolling tasks and watched the building above; along with the man that stood upon the helipad.

Behind the group was a lone man, comfortably propped against a traffic light(which had been deactivated for a while) with his arms folded. The jet black hair that blocked his eye matched the clothes he wore; only making his bloodred pupils more noticeable. Greed lifted his chin and squinted past the sun's glare; before strolling towards the target.

Greed: This is the place.

A voice rang through his head to reply.

Ling: Finally. I've been walking around this city for hours.

Greed: We've been walking. Just because I made you stroll the ten miles by yourself doesn't mean I didn't contribute.

Ling: Actually, that's exactly what it means. Whatever, just focus on the task at hand. Get into the building, and find the Senator. We'll improvise from there.

Greed: Sounds like a plan.

A loud rumble shot through the streets, shaking the ground to a near flawless vibration.

Greed: That doesn't sound good.

Earlier...

In a room with a light blue hue, with two levels and large pillars that stretched high, two professional men stood in place. One of them wore a dark grey suit, the other in a dark one piece outfit.

???: Power up the EXCELCUS, Sundowner.

Sundowner: Yes, Armstrong. I gotta say, this'll knock some sense into that goddamn ninja alright.

Senator Armstrong: That's the plan. Once he's gone, America will have less of reason to not give in to me. Keep a look out for him.

Sundowner: Sure thing.

Armstrong grinned, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose and proceeding down the room.

(*Cue: The Opened Way - Shadow of the Colossus*)

The rumble grew more powerful, startling the soldiers and causing Greed to hold onto a decently sturdy lamp post. A large machine rose from behind the horizon, raising it's 'arms' and suddenly leaping into the air. Greed's eyes widened as the machine vanished.

Ling: What was that?!

Greed: Probably some lunatic with a trust fund.

The machine reappeared and harshly crashed onto the road, a few hundred feet away from Greed. The soldiers in the area stood their ground in sheer determination, while others flee in horror. A voice boomed from it, echoing throughout the city.

Senator Armstrong: Hello, Colorado. I'm sure you're confused as to why this machine is here. Well, it's quite simple. Uncle Sam wants the cyborg, and I'll be damned if he doesn't show!

Greed's gawk turned into a glare as Armstrong continued to monologue, which would be a waste of time to write. He mostly taunted for the rest of his speech.

Ling: He's going to hurt someone. Let me in control, we're bringing him in!

Greed: No offense, but a guy of his...proportions wouldn't take too kindly to your lack of charisma. Let me do the talking.

Ling didn't argue, since they still agreed on the mission none the less. Greed sprinted: noticeably quicker than a human, and leapt in front of the soldiers and in front of the EXCELCUS.

Greed: Hey you! We should chat, so step out of the machine.

Greed aggressively waved his hand at the shoulders, giving them permission to leave. The EXCELCUS rotating to face the Alchemist.

Senator Armstrong: Well, this is a surprise!

To Greed's surprise, Armstrong didn't attack. The EXCELCUS lowered itself and perched uncomfortably. The cockpit was presented, and it opened up as the pilot exited. Greed ran to the front of the machine.

(Music Stop)

Armstrong stood upon the machine, staring below at Greed with a grin on his face. Greed clenched a fist as his forearm solidified. Armstrong's grin turns slightly more smug as he notices the transformation.

Senator Armstrong: Well, you must be an Alchemist of some sort. Your arm doesn't look like it's made of Nanomachines

Greed glances once at his freshly transformed arm and back at the Senator.

Greed: Well, you're certainly brighter than you look. Anyway, I didn't come here to chat about my abilities. I came to bring you in. You're pretty corrupt, and an ally of mine said you were a problem.

Armstrong sneered at the threat.

Senator Armstrong: You'd be surprised how many times I've heard that. Tell you what, I'll come quietly if you can come get me yourself. Once I'm done, I'll tear you and your friends limb from limb.

Greed: Let's raise the stakes.

Ling: What? Greed-

Greed bent himself down and leapt, shooting himself through the air and landing in front of the Senator, who had stepped a few feet backwards before the Alchemist landed.

Senator Armstrong: You making a wager?

Greed: Yes. I win, I get all of your wealth and belongings.

Ling: Greed, stop. Don't-

Senator Armstrong: And if I win...well...I'll be paying your friends a well deserved visit.

Greed wasn't fazed by the threat. He lifted his fists up, hardening them into powerful material. His hands now transformed, he prepared himself for a fight. Armstrong pushed his glasses up his nose and laughed, before hunching over and placing both hands firmly around his knees.

He lifted up his leg and slammed it with amazing strength onto the leg of the EXCELCUS, rattling it quite a bit. He repeated the action with his other leg, causing the machine to rumble. While Greed barely kept his balance, a compartment on the EXCELCUS snapped open, bright green streams emerging and flowing straight through Armstrong's body.

The Senator cried out as the substance entered him, the sheer power coursing through him being too much to restrain. Finally, Armstrong absorbed all of it, causing a powerful shockwave to explode from his body. Parts of the EXCELCUS began to fall off as the machine rumbled harder than ever before.

Greed: What's he doing?!

(*Cue: Berserk - My Brother: Extended*)

The machine finally halted it's movements, and Greed turned his focus back to Armstrong. His suit was gone, and he had noticeably grown quite a lot. His large muscles were barely held back by his white collared shirt and yellow tie. Armstrong grinned at the Alchemist's surprise, and stood up straight: cracking his knuckles and holding up his fists.

Senator Armstrong: Let's...go…

Greed blinked a few times, and readied himself once more for their battle.

FIGHT!

(0:15)

Eager to start the fight, Greed immediately transformed both hands and sprinted full speed towards the Senator, before leaping and reeling back a fist. Unfortunately for Greed, he was struck across the face by Armstrong's backhand while in the air, sending him flipping onto his side. Armstrong walked over to the downed Alchemist and lifted him with both hands, throwing him like a ragdoll into the side of the EXCELCUS.

Armstrong sprinted to Greed once he hit the ground and lifted him up by the back of his neck. While under the Senator's grip, Greed looped his arm around Armstrong's and threw a fist into his side. The nanomachines were one step ahead of Greed, hardening once the blow was struck. That didn't stop Greed, who broke free and sent an uppercut straight into Armstrong's chin, staggering him back.

Greed: How'd that feel?

Senator Armstrong: Like I was slapped by a small child.

Armstrong swung a heavy hit at Greed, who ducked under the attack and kicked him in the stomach. Greed launched three quick punches into the same spot, but didn't get far due to taking a left hook that flipped him over. Armstrong grins at the downed Alchemist and kicked him while he was down, the power of the hit sending Greed tumbling to the side.

Ling: He's strong. Don't get too cocky.

Greed: You think I can't see that?

Armstrong attempted to uppercut Greed, who handspringed out of the way to avoid being struck. Greed once more solidified his fist and slugged across Armstrong's jaw, who had softened the blow with his nanomachines. The alchemist gritted his teeth in frustration and prepared another blow, only for Armstrong to punch Greed right in the chest; with such impressive force that it penetrated his chest entirely.

Greed gasped as Armstrong's fist went through his chest cavity and fell to his knees, red bolts crackling from the open wound. Armstrong grinned at his vulnerability and took several steps back, before dashing forward and kicking Greed as hard as he pleased, sending the Alchemist flying into the side of the EXCELCUS once more.

Greed fell back to the ground and slumped over in supposed pain. Armstrong then chuckled, believing the battle was over.

Senator Armstrong: Funny enough, I actually expected more from you.

(Music Stop)

As he turned to walk away, Greed slammed the ground with his fist and stood up. Armstrong jerked his head in the Alchemist's direction, and witnessed a complete game changer. Greed grinned smugly as the gaping hole in his chest began to quickly knit itself shut, the bolts disappearing once the wound was sealed completely.

Greed: Aw, you weren't expecting that, were you? Must be hard not being able to beat me to a pulp like all the other people you've probably fought.

Armstrong masked his frustration and smirked at his opponent's remark.

Senator Armstrong: Quite impressive. Never thought a poor, non-american punk could ever hope to surprise me like that.

Ling: This guy can't be serious.

Senator Armstrong raised a hand and admired the tight shield that covered it. The shield was then removed, exposing his more vulnerable flesh. With a malicious grin on his face, Armstrong lifted his other hand, which wore the shield, and slammed a chop into his exposed limb: slicing it clean off.

Greed raised his eyebrows in horror at the Senator's act of self harm. Armstrong, however, wasn't fazed. The bloody stump from where his hand once was began to "fix" the injury, his wounded area morphing a sharp, thick blade made entirely of Nanomachines. Armstrong poked his finger against the tip of the weapon, before looking back at Greed.

Senator Armstrong: But you're not the only one who can manipulate the odds, my friend.

(*Cue: Find You - Max Anarchy*)

Armstrong held out his blade and spun around like a tornado towards Greed. The alchemist crossed his shielded arms together in an attenpt to block the attack, but the repeated whirling slashes proved too much for him. He was then knocked back a few feet, just as Armstrong had stopped spinning. Once the damage was done, both men dashed forward and engaged in a grapple.

Greed threw a quick uppercut at the Senator and sent another fist into his stomach. Once the Nanomachines absorbed the damage, Greed growled in frustration and sent a flurry of punches into Armstrong's chest area. Senator Armstrong watched with triumph as Greed's hits bounced off of his Nanomachines, not affecting him in the slightest. Greed widened his eyes at the lack of damage, before Armstrong's free hand latched onto his face.

Greed gulped nervously as Armstrong lifted him above the ground with one hand, before tossing him high into the air, as if he weighed nothing. The alchemist shouted in surprise as he was hurled high into the air with relative ease. Once gravity did it's job and sent him flying back down, Greed was met with an earth-shattering kick to the torso that sent him flying a few feet away. As Greed smacked into the EXCELCUS for the billionth time that day, he peeked himself off the machine and charged forward in a blind rage.

Ling: Greed, let me take control! He's too fast, we'll need to be quicker than his shield is!

Greed: Shut it! Just let me fight him without you-

Greed was cut off by a powerful right hook to his jaw, sending him flipping onto his side. As the flesh on his face began to repair itself, Greed was met with Armstrong's boot slamming onto his chest. Once the alchemist cried out in pain, Armstrong stomped onto his body once more, lifting his foot up to bring down onto him the final time. Only once he slammed his foot onto him the last time, a shockwave rippled from the blow, severely denting the surface of the EXCELCUS and nearly pushing Greed inside of it.

(Music Stop)

Armstrong retrieved his severed arm and placed it onto the stump, reattaching itself. He then lifted Greed upwards and sealed both hands around his throat. The Senator squeezed with enough force to crush the Alchemist's windpipe, and his neck altogether. Greed flashed the Senator an amused grin, knowing that the attack wouldn't kill him. Armstrong noticed this, and sneered in annoyance.

Senator Armstrong: What the hell are you?!

Greed: Homunculus. Something that you definitely can't kill.

Armstrong snarled at Greed's smug reply, and swung his fist into the side of Greed's neck, snapping it to the side. He was then met with a cackle from Greed, who mustered all the strength he had and shoved himself away from Armstrong's grasp.

Greed: I must say, you're pretty strong. Almost enough to make me jealous.

Armstrong straightened his tie and walked forward to face Greed, who had cracked his neck back into place without injury.

Senator Armstrong: Damn straight. I played college ball, ya know.

Armstrong swung his fist like a hammer, which Greed dashed away from before the blow collided, instead smashing the machine's surface once more.

Greed: I can tell. Probably at a really professional school of some sort. Like...University of Texas.

Armstrong grinned and cracked his knuckles.

Senator Armstrong: Try University of- wait...nevermind.

Both men approached each other and attacked the other with all they had. Greed landed several swift blows into Armstrong, which were blocked by his Nanomachines. Armstrong managed to punch through Greed's chest, before tearing off his arm entirely. Armstrong backed away and opened his arms wide, only to slam his palms together in a thunderclap that knocked Greed a few feet away. As expected, Greed then began to regenerate like nothing happened.

Greed: Ha! You can barely put a dent in me. And you'll always be a weakling as long as the stone in my chest is left unscathed.

It only took Greed a minute to realize what he had done.

Ling: You just gave away our weakness!

Greed: Uh...you can take control now.

Ling:...With pleasure.

Armstrong stood awkwardly once Greed finished talking to himself, before ignoring his confusion and sprinting forward to kick Greed like a football. The hit sent Greed flying high, nearly sending him soaring off of the machine. He, of course, didn't: instead gracefully using his legs to bounce off the surface and land safely behind Armstrong. Surprised at the sudden change in skill, he failed to dodge the kick that Greedling had landed, staggering him forward a bit, even with the help of his Nanomachines.

Greed(Ling's Control): Let's try this again, Armstrong.

(*Cue Skyscraper Under Construction Stage - Super Street Fighter IV*)

Armstrong put on an impressed smile and turned around slowly to face his opponent once more. He would surely receive a challenge this time. Ready to continue pummeling Greed, he rushed forward and threw a right hook, which he expected to connect with his opponent. But it didn't, and before Armstrong noticed that his enemy had weaved under the attack and ended up behind him, he wasn't quick enough to prevent the kick to his back that sent him staggering forward. The Nanomachines imbedded in his skin managed to activate a split second before the blow connected, but they cut it a bit too close.

Turning his gaze back towards the Homunculus, a palm smashing into his nose caused him to stumble backwards before he could react. Alarmed by the trickle of blood coming from his nostrils, the Senator grit his teeth. His Nanomachines weren't quick enough, so he had to be weary of his opponent's speed and precision. Still, this disadvantage pissed Armstrong off, and he rushed forward to send a flurry of punches in his direction.

Senator Armstrong: DIE! DIE, YOU FREAK PIECE OF SHIT!

Greed: Wow, you really made him angry. Don't screw this up.

Ling tried his best to duck and dodge the punches that were thrown, but knew that the repeated attacks would soon overwhelm him. So instead of trying to tank them like Greed would, Ling thought smarter and rolled to the side and sweeped his legs out from under him. Grunting as he fell onto his back, Armstrong anticipated a strike from above and gripped Ling's ankle before his foot collided with him, before pulling him close and lifting him up so he could slam Ling onto the ground. Unwilling to be thrown around like a ragdoll, he used his free foot to slam his foot into Armstrong's nose, allowing him a window of opportunity to break free. Wiping the blood from his face, an enraged Armstrong practically roared at his opponent and sprinted towards him, attempting to finish the fight once and for all.

Preparing himself, Ling solidified both of his fists and rushed forward as well, each ready to throw a punch at the other, until their fists finally collided and sent a shockwave throughout the area. Whatever buildings were near the fight instantly had their windows shattered, raw power oozing from both combatants. Finally, they began to trade blows, where Ling managed to score several coordinated hits that outpaced the Nanomachines, only infuriating Armstrong further. Finally, the Senator grew tired of the scuffle, batting away one of his enemy's attacks and slamming a knee into his stomach. Seizing Ling by the neck, Armstrong slammed him onto the EXCELCUS and stomped him into it as hard as he could.

Another shockwace was emitted from the crushing blow, causing Ling to groan in pain and he struggled to emerge from the surface of the machine. Feeling merciless, Armstrong loomed over him and smashed a fist into his face, repeating this action with the other hand, and beginning to alternate between fists as his punches began to pick up speed. Forcing Ling to grant him his control over the body back, Greed hardened his facial area and attempted to soak up the punches. Hitting Greed with hundreds of lightning-fast hits, he finally raised one mighty fist and brought it down onto the Homunculus...

...and causing the entire EXCELCUS to explode

(Music Stop)

Among the rubble of the EXCELCUS, Greed sat up with a pained grunt as blood dripped from multiple cuts and gashes in his body. As the wounds began to knit themselves together, flames blossomed along the remains of the machine, just as Armstrong emerged as well. Gritting his teeth once he spotted Greed, who was very much alive, the Senator marched forward with balled up fists.

Senator Armstrong: You've got heart, kid. I'll give you that.

Greed: Don't talk down to me, old man. This is going to end now, one way or another.

Ling: He looks pissed, you better be careful.

Enraged, Armstrong tore off his shirt without hesitation, revealing his grotesquely-deformed chest that coursed with Nanomachines. Greed chuckled and shook his head, beginning to back up from his opponent as his body began to solidify.

Greed: I've got a little surprise for you, Armstrong. I don't like to use it much, but I think you've earned a chance to be slaughtered at the hands of it...

Watching as Greed's body was coated in a dark gray metal, the Homunculus grinned with a mouthful of sharp teeth and stared at the Senator through his jet black eyes. It was the Ultimate Shield.

(*Cue: Sir Arthur Theme - Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3*)

Putting up his fists, Armstrong rushed forward and threw a fist into Greed's cheek...and was alarmed to see that the man didn't even flinch against the blow. Snickering, Greed through a punch of his own into Armstrong's nose, managing to make him stagger back and almost outpace the Nanomachines. Roaring with fury, Senator Armstrong sent several blows towards his opponent, most of which the Homunculus smugly weaved and dodged under, though most of the time he simply soaked up direct hits to the face without a hint of pain showing.

Surprised, Armstrong failed to block the swarm of hits that soon followed, each punch stronger and quicker than the last until the point where his Nanomachines were struggling to keep up. Sparks flying madly as Greed's onslaught continued, he began to retract claws from his hands within seconds, and swiftly slashed a cut into Armstrong's chest. Crying out as blood gushed from the open wound, the Senator shoved Greed away with all of his might; only managing to send the Homunculus skidding a few feet away.
