The Greatest American Hero is the title character from the 1981-83 television series, The Greatest American Hero. The male lead was replaced by a female lead in the 1986 television special, The Greatest American Heroine.

Flight - The suit grants the power of flight, but neither of its holders ever did master this ability. In one instance, Ralph succeeded in catching an airplane flying at Mach 6, which means that he was flying at least 5,000 mile per hour, or 8,047 kilometers per hour.
Superhuman strength - Ralph was able to easily lift cars, and once even lifted a Space Shuttle, which weighs approximately 165,000 lbs (75,000 kg).

All of Ralph and Holly’s powers come from the suit, so if there is a time when they are not wearing the suit, they have no powers. Usually, though, they wear their suit under their clothes.
