Mortician: Gorr, Marvel’s God Butchering Alien
Redshock: Saint Walker, the Very First Blue Lantern of Hope
Mortician: Faith can be a strong weapon to all, and the high holy god gave us this test to see if we are worthy or not. There are Gods and Goddesses that we pray and call onto them for help in our time in need. Some help us and some refuse to.
Redshock: And we would respond by blessing them or cursing them. And as we see these people worship and savor them, there are others that seek to Slaughter them one by one because of their refusal of assistance.
Mortician: Whenever there's a Saint, there's a Sinner, and these two would be the perfect example for this.
Gorr Butchers Death Battle[]
Mortician: We sometimes pray for the gods and the goddesses to answer our calling. Some respond and some don't, and it goes in between. Those gods were to bring blessings or curses to the world for better or worse.
Redshock: We have one rather that slays than Prays and his name is Gorr. Before becoming the dangerous God Butcher that he is, Gorr. Born on a planet with no name, Gorr and his family was on the brink of starvation and he was taught to believe in the gods and his prayers for help
Mortician: One by one, his family has passed away with no food available, he has a wife named Arra and fathered some of his children, including his son Agar. Due to the sun fevers, Arra with her daughters and unborn son perished leaving Gorr to protect his son.
Redshock: Gorr and Agar tried heading to a forest where they would never go hungry, but soon enough that Agar soon died from Starvation and a Heat stroke soon after. It was at that moment that Gorr had given up on hope and gone after the gods that would not answer his prayers. This became like god of war all over again with Kratos witch hunting every single god he can get his hands on.
Mortician: Seeking for power to slay the gods, he had found 2 gods slain and the weapon to execute them. A weapon forged by the symbiote king, the All-Black god himself, He had found the Necrosword. Originally wielded by Knull when he and the god wearing a Gold Plated armor crashed down onto a nameless planet Gorr was in when the Gold plated god had the power of the Enigma Force.
Redshock: The sword itself created by Knull had enough power to slay the strongest of gods and would grant the user immense power and that Knull crafted it by the abyss and was trapped in the realm between which is the afterlife. Gorr was in possession of the Necrosword and was tasked to do one thing in his life, Execute every god in existence. With his trustworthy Necrosword, Gorr was sent out to Slaughter the gods that refused his plea of helping his people and his family.
Mortician: Like the god that bleeded gold and talked down to Gorr and showed him who is the boss, until he got his head chopped off. Next up, he was off to Asgard to slay all the gods and Thor specifically.
Redshock: He traveled there to seek and kill all the gods and Goddesses in Asgard as he would spread the darkness and the symbiote to all of his victims. And with his Necrosword, he can basically do anything with it for power as he can form any weapon he likes with the Symbiote itself and even create an indestructible suit of armor upon slaying his first god.
Mortician: Gorr can also use those powers from the Necrosword to badly injure Thor. Speaking of which, he did face off against Thor and a few of him and at which scales to him, the same Thor that threw Mjolnir into the edge of the universe within a minute, destroyed and tanked a planet busting bomb that equates to 53 Quadrillion Megatons of TNT, Lifting the Midgard Serpent that weighs about 17 Trillion tons that wrapped around earth twice
Redshock: The same Thor that Knocked his hammer onto the Phoenix Force, The same Thor that has arm wrestled Hercules and almost knocked Earth out of orbit, The same Thor that-- ok, you get the picture so etc etc. Avengers, Galactus, Thanos, Sentry, Thor scales to them and Gorr scales to Thor with those said powers and feats, you get it.
Mortician: Gorr has the darkness of the Necrosword to harness the power of the gods by stabbing into them and eating away their insides. Gorr also has the mastery to make constructs of the symbiote to create the black berserkers, the dark matter creatures that are very powerful on their own right, and one challenged and battled King Thor for hours and soon had a few spread and engulfed him for almost a millennia after Asgard was slaughtered.
Redshock: Gorr is also super durable as he tanked attacks from current Thor and the God blast by King Thor that crashed him on a planet at light speed as well as both versions of Thor hurled chunks upon chunks of the moon onto the surface of the planet itself. That does need some explanation, it's proven how powerful Gorr is, and Gorr himself is beating down 3 versions of Thor, One from the Past where he didn't have Mjolnir at the time, The Present which is self explanatory with Mjolnir, and The Future also Self Explanatory. He battled them in a One on One battle and won.
Mortician: Let's not forget he forged a planet created by All Black of the Necrosword he has been Manipulating on a larger scale. That said, he controlled and enslaved every god he had to do his bidding in that said planet, as they constructed a weapon to bring about the destruction of the universe, The God Bomb. Thor from the present and future came in and tried to destroy the God Bomb and put an end to Gorr, but it was too late as he and the All Black injured him and 2 more thors as he engulfed them.
Redshock: He made his family out of the constructs of the All Black knowing his previous family died of natural causes as his son was doing his bidding, but soon found out he did bad deeds in Gorr's command, he prayed to Thor as the other surviving gods did, and thor from the President had a massive power Boost and used 2 Mjolnir's to tank the God Bomb destruction and neutralized the All-Black from Gorr leaving him depowered. There's also one instance where he tried to harness the powers of Stormbreaker to enter the realm of Eternity and fought Thor and Lady Thor as he would get the upper hand, but failed as the Necrosword broke into ashes.
Mortician: His trip to the realm of Eternity along with Thor would think Thor would try to reason with Gorr to stop since he knows his pain. Gorr would sacrifice himself to eternity and you know where this goes and such and it would be that everything will be all better right?
Redshock: It was until years later that Loki revived Gorr and Gorr went to kill off loki and his brother Thor which he is the All Father of Asgard and formed the All Black at its purest form, The Annihilablade which is capable of destroying planets as a whole. Even scarier is that gorr's essence was absorbed to become a living universe and tries to get rid of thor once again, but it was short lived and he was once again slain by Thor and the universe as well.
Mortician: As for Gorr's weakness, he does get short tempered whenever someone explains about the gods, and His Necrosword needs to be fueled by the death of the gods and goddesses before going back in action. With enough power, the Necrosword can be destroyed leaving Gorr vulnerable and he can die.
Redshock: But who's to say that he takes no prisoners when he's hunting for your gods or if you are one. You make sure you get him or he's adding you to his kill list of gods.
Gorr: "It feels more like a promise than a curse. So, this is my vow: all gods will die".
Saint Walker Brings Hope for Death Battle![]
Mortician: Before he became like that, Bro'Dee Walker was a normal alien creature in the Planet Astonia where it was doomed to mass extinction due to a sun about to go into a supernova. His family is very religious and would pray to the Messiah and read the scriptures daily in hopes of saving the planet, but no gods came and Walker's people along with the planet was filled with doubters and haters of the word of god.
Redshock: Bro'Dee read the scriptures day and night as to why the Messiah never arrived to aid the planet, and then he found the answer to it. One of the scriptures that was written has labeled that God had looked down on the planet on the mountain that high and the one strong enough needed to climb onto the mountain Helios in hopes of finally finding the Messiah.
Mortician: Walker's father in worry told his son that no one has ever survived climbing the mountain by themselves, However Bro'Dee told his father not to worry as god would be with them for the journey and save the planet. His father said that he has Faith in Walker. Walker and his family started to journey to the mountain and everything went well, until walker's father fell down from a broken beam of the bridge and fell down onto the rocks where he passed away.
Redshock: Saddened from his father's passing and that he had to bury him, Walker never gave up hope and ventured forward to complete his task. Him and his family stopped by onto a river for a quick drink and to rehydrate. It was going well, but the sun grew hotter and the ice on top of mount Helios melted and the river turned into a strong current that swept away walker's wife and daughter. 3 of Bro'Dee's family members perished, he never gave up hope as it grew stronger as him and his son continued to climb to the top. Walker and his son climbed for days and grew weaker and hungrier as they progressed, But his son found the berries and blessed God for the nutritious fruit. Walker told him not to eat it as it was a poisonous fruit, but it was too late as his son took a bite as the poison was slowly taking in effect. 3 hours passed as Walker was struck with grief of his son's passing. He told him that he would see him in the next life. Damn, this is very depressing.
Mortician: Walker continued his trip and cried till he could feel no more tears and nothing else on his shoulders. But the answers are still on top of the mountain as the sun grew even worse. There was no going back. Walker didn't have any strength left to continue, but his hope of saving the planet gave him a boost of energy and continued on. He finally reached the top, but there was a problem. There was no Messiah. Just an obelisk monument sitting on top. Walker was pissed that there was no Messiah and was about to give up hope as he screamed to the heavens to show the Messiah as he tore the pages of the book.
Redshock: The holy lord responded with a thunderstorm and on the monument was a reflection. Walker looked at the reflection and saw that he was "Saint Walker." Knowing the truth of it, he returned to the village and helped spread the word of god to his people and helped them volunteer to help the planet in need. As they listened, they too put their faith and hope in the word of god to help heal this planet. They did so and started praying
Mortician: They prayed so much that the planet grew blue of energy and the expanding sun shrunk down by a blue lantern ring. The sun fully healed and the ring flew out with the words "All will be well" as it flew into Bro'Dee's hand as it said "Bro'Dee Walker of Astonia, You have the ability to instill great hope." Walker wielded the ring and it has allowed him to see his passing family one last time as he was proud of them all. Saint Walker, the first Blue Lantern of hope, was reborn.
Redshock: The Blue Lantern ring was created by the guardians of the Universe. Not Galaxy, the Universe. The original group that made the Green Lantern Corps. They made this Lantern and bestowed it on those that possess great power of Hope, that being Bro'Dee Walker of sector 0001. The ring he possessed is the most powerful as it can dampen the Red, Orange, and Yellow energy of the emotional spectrum of the other lantern corps while empowering the Green Lantern of Willpower, as well as recharging and strengthening them.
Mortician: The Blue Ring also grants Walker a protective barrier, flight in space, and even creates constructs out of blue energy like the other lanterns. The feat alone requires the presence of a Green Lantern, tho, walker knows how to make some on his own right?
Redshock: Unlike other Lanterns, The blue Lantern ring doesn't run out of energy or in need to be recharged. Looks like Bro'Dee is gonna get some allies for this. His first task was to seek out the other members for the fledgling corps, one of which is Brother Worf the Elephant, then to move on to the rest. He did encounter the Green Lanterns in helping out the injured Hal Jordan, member of the Justice League.
Mortician: He healed him along with the two Green Lanterns Kilowog and Jon Stewart as they were attacked and affected by the red energy of rage. He also freed them from the bonds of rage and the great strain of energy caused by the red lanterns. Walker then introduced Hal to the home of the Blue Lanterns called Oda to the Green Lanterns. Hal witness that the Blue Lanterns from Walker and Ganthet before he traveled with them to watch the Blue Lanterns save another Dying Sun
Redshock: Walker and the Blue Lanterns had to prove themselves to Hal and worked with him to encounter another Red Lantern user that recently emerged and that Red Lantern user was Hal himself. Walker cured Hal by giving him a blue lantern ring to fully dispel all the Red Lantern energy and the power itself. Much like the time exorcism is seized by the power of Christ and shit.
Mortician: Most impressive feat for walker is that he absorbed the great power beam expelled by Mogo the living planet as he was amplified by it and destroyed a large space fleet by the Red Lanterns themselves, enough to destroy a whole planet itself.
Redshock: He has also contended in a fight with the likes of Larfleeze, The Orange Lantern of Avarice, and became successful. To add some for Larfleeze, he once stole Barry's Wallet in 10 seconds or less. I know it ain't relevant, but who knows, he would at least scale to him.
Mortician: during Walker's battle with Larfleeze and the Orange constructs of Orange Lanterns that invaded Oda, The Orange Lantern was taken down by Walker along with the other Lantern Corps in the likes of Sinestro, Hal, Carol Ferris, and Iroque, the Indigo Lantern of Compassion. Victory was in Walker's favor, but it brought a new worse enemy that would bring death to all, The Black Lantern of Death. Walker alongside Ganthet and Sayd joined as one and gathered the lantern leaders from their respective corps as one to help out Walker. Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Atrocious, Carol Ferris, Iroque, Larfleeze, and Walker as one.
Redshock: Walker was indeed a vital part of bringing them together. Cloning the rings as they were back to earth, they searched far and wide for their allies to aid them in their quest. Walker found a hero for the ring to host. A man with enough power and hope for the people of the universe. Barry Allen, The Flash. Hal's partner and also a member of the Justice League. Call me crazy for this here, but Walker does at least scale to Barry Allen with the speed along with what he did for the multiverse and in the speed force.
Mortician: Allen time traveled at infinite speeds and has indeed caused some changes to the multiverse and such, even scaling up to the other heroes and cosmic beings and even the fastest flash Wally West who broke off the Anti-Monitor armor. There are some more, but I ain't going further in detail so I'll say that walker scales up to them.
Redshock: Walker taught Barry how to effectively use the blue lantern ring and it's powers properly and used it to empower Green Lanterns in Combat. This reminds me too much of Avengers Endgame.
Mortician: After they gathered up all the people, Walker and the other Lanterns finally joined forth in beating the Black Lanterns that will bring about the destruction of the multiverse as Hal Jordan and the others gained the White Lantern power of Life to triumph over Death. He rebuilt the gravestones alongside Barry as Walker spent some time on earth and looked at the hero name "Question," in the real name of it, Renée Montoya.
Redshock: Remarking the hopeful nature of the human Race, he looked upon a new discovery of the emotional entity that represented hope named Adara that resided on earth. Walker called upon Hal and Larfleeze not long after and came to tell them that Adara found another human host. In secret, a being named Krona was hunting down the entities that represented the core energy of the emotional core of the spectrum itself.
Mortician: A guardian that long went mad, Krona, intends to siphon the entities to seize control over the Green Lantern Corps itself for his own gains. Krona, the Mad Guardian tried to take control over all the rings of the corps and trapped the leaders in the book of the Black. Instead, the Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner, used Walker's ring to save Bro'Dee and the others out of the Book of the Black and worked to take down Krona, the mad guardian. Afterwards, Walker returned where Ganthet was in and asked him to assist him in his need to partner with Larfleeze in the Blackest Night, but Ganthet refused and Walker was now left as a leaderless Blue Lantern.
Redshock: Walker did eventually work alongside the Justice League with the likes of Batman, Starman, and Donna Troy in taking down the likes of Eclipso and Doomsday. The same Doomsday that contended with Superman too many times to count.
Mortician: Walker would then join together with the New Guardians to take down Volthoom and Larfleeze taking advantage of the chaos of the first Lantern. but it was short lived as the being called Relic arrived and sought to destroy the light of the lanterns. but walker survived the fire cleansed by Relic himself and which left Walker badly injured.
Redshock: Walker and Kyle along with Ganthet and Sayd performed a ritual in bringing them back, but an unknown force prevented them in doing so and Kyle was stripped of his White Lantern status afterwards. Walker was disappointed that he couldn't bring back the Blue Lanterns, but he didn't give up hope. In the oath of the words, he knew that All will be well.
Saint Walker: "Rage has no real power, or taste for that matter. It's the orphan child of fear and despair".
Death Battle[]
Prologue[]
As we see Gorr butcher another god and feed the power in the Necrosword, the Blue Lanterns come in and save another one from being Executed by the God Butcher. Saint Walker floated down confronting Gorr. “Gorr. You have committed crimes against humanity and caused damage to the gods of the multiverse. I am Saint Bro'Dee Walker in sector 0001”. “Are you a god?”. “I have claimed to be one as I am the Messiah to all. I have come to stop you”. “All gods will die. You are indeed one and thus need to be butchered”. Gorr summons his Necrosword and Walker conjures up a blue sword as they both start to clash at each other.
FIGHT![]
They both attack each other as Bro'Dee manages to get a hit in towards Gorr with a boxing Glove construct on the ring. Gorr lunges forward and counter attacks with the symbiote tentacles with whiplash attacks. Saint Walker gets hit by it all, but is shielded by the last one. “Such corrupted power. I cannot allow this to go further”. Walker blasts Gorr with blue beams and conjures a boulder and hits him with it. Walker then conjures a hand and grabs Gorr and tossed him in space as he charged towards him. Gorr gets into a mech suit and starts flying as well charging towards walker attacking and leaves a deadly slash on Walker's chest “I feel you weakening Alien God. You will not escape out of this”.
Gorr then shoots symbiote needles towards Walker as Gorr sends him down into Odam with a giant Blue Lantern battery near the waterfall. Walker pushes Gorr back with a barrier and starts blasting towards him. “I will not allow you to cause destruction to all, monster! Feel the wrath of the Blue Lantern!” “I will show you how dangerous I will be. You will be butchered!”.
Gorr and Walker then clashed again with Gorr getting the advantage with the Necrosword getting stronger. He would then create Necro Beasts and Black Berserkers to attack Walker as Bro'Dee constructed an army of soldiers to fight them with the ring.
The blue soldier constructs were killing off and dying to the Berserkers as Gorr fights Walker again as the Berserkers swarm in on Walker trapping him and sending him in a pocket Dimension where Gorr is in. “Lovely pets right? This is my world where I reside and you have no chance to escape”. Gorr summons his Necrosword to finally put an end to Walker as Bro'Dee chants the Blue Lantern oath where his blue ring starts shining. “In fearful day, In raging night, with strong hearts full, our souls Ignite. When all seems lost in the war of light, Look to the stars…”. The ring bursts powerful energy of hope as he tears down Gorr's Pocket Dimension as Walker's eyes glow blue and is charged up fully with Gorr surprised. “FOR HOPE BURNS BRIGHT!”
Walker all charged up emits a giant blue beam towards Gorr as the God Butcher is taking a big blast taking heavy damage. As the beam clears, Walker is exhausted and lays down still charged up as Gorr was severely wounded by the blast itself. Walker conjures up a Blue Sword walking towards the God Butcher. One of the Black berserkers managed to destroy the Blue Lantern battery at the waterfall and Walker feels the super charge slowly fading as he would have to act fast. Gorr got back up as the All-Black regenerated him from his wounds, but was impaled by Bro'Dee and the sword conjure he made and tossed him in the water. “It is over”.
Gorr got back out of the water and hit Walker with one of the symbiote tendrils, sending him back. “It's not over yet! Come at me with everything you got!”. “I made a vow to save everyone from your destruction of the rule god butcher. I am Saint Walker of the Blue Lanterns! I will make sure you will not come back and that ALL WILL BE WELL!”. Enraged, Saint Walker charges up one final blast against Gorr to evaporate him, but Gorr manages to mess with his mind with Mind Control as he goes in for the kill. He uses his Necrosword and cuts Saint Walker down to slices one by one brutally grabbing the Blue Lantern ring and breaking it as well. Gorr has slain another God. Gorr Absorbs the body and powers of Saint Walker from the inside.
“Farewell, God of Hope”. Gorr creates a mech suit and makes a planet busting sword and destroys the planet Odam with Walker's corpse and heads out to Asgard to find and kill Thor.

Results[]
Redshock: Well, looks like Astonia will have a new hope that they will have another savior. And Walker can finally reunite with his family.
Mortician: Both Gorr and Walker had faced great dangers when encountering their opponents. Gorr takes the edge in Power as he could scale to Thor at which faced Hercules which can take down the great danger Chaos King that can bring down the Marvel Multiverse with his power alone as Hercules used the Phoenix Force to take him down, which Hercules died in the process as Chaos King was affecting Complex Multiverses
Redshock: Saint Walker also shared the same feat where he scaled to Barry with Wally destroys the Anti-Monitor's armor as the Anti-Monitor was going to destroy anything in it's sight in the DC multiverse as he overpowered the Justice League and would bring the destruction of Complex Multiverses as well
Mortician: Walker also took the combined effort to take down Nekron The Black Lantern which would create an army of the dead to conquer the Multiverse. But Gorr has an advantage since he did battle Rune King Thor and the other Thors that Thor took down Mangog without any problem and with the Rune Magic as well.
Redshock: Speed also was in Gorr's favor as he scales up to Mjolnir which flew across the Universe in a minute and Walker scaling to Hal Jordan which he caught in a speeding Superman and Flash, And as stated that Barry Allen was the second fastest next to Wally via speed force, so while Walker can be faster than this, but Gorr carries the speed advantage as he can be faster as he has Immeasurable speeds with Thor.
Mortician: When it comes down to abilities, Gorr has ways of killing Bro'Dee and Walker has the same thing as well with the Blue Ring. He would take in the power of Mogo and absorb the green energy and siphon it to make a giant Blue Blast which took down a giant space fleet which can harm Gorr. What stops that is Gorr's godly regen with the All-Black and the All-Black symbiote has ways of messing with Saint Walker as well as Gorr can mess with his mind, kill off his insides before Walker can react, and trap Walker in a pocket Dimension with the Necrosword alone
Redshock: As durability goes, Gorr and Walker has survived by great means as Walker managed to endure the blast that wiped out the Blue Lantern army caused by Relic, Gorr tanked hits from Mjolnir and survived the God Bomb which Thor used 2 Mjolnirs to prevent it from happening as Thor did die in the process. Let's not forget that Gorr can create a universe with the All-Black and can actually harm Walker and control him to do his bidding since Gorr was revived by Loki and at which The god butcher killed him and the rest.
Mortician: It was definitely close as Walker had the power of Hope to make it this far in battle, but Gorr had the Strength, Speed, Durability, and The Necrosword powers for this win.
Redshock: Saint Walker's Hope was BUTCHERED as his corpse burns Bright in the end. The Winner is Gorr the God Butcher!

- This is pretty much a battle of opposites taken to the extreme, Ultimate Optimist vs. Ultimate Pessimist, with Saint Walker being a peaceful priest and also being seen as a god by many. While Gorr is an absolute screaming lunatic who hates god with every fiber of his being.
