soul: And everybody wants to know who would kick who's ass in a fight. And I mean everyone.

soul: And Sonic and Shadow, the fastest things alive.
scythe: To ensure no stone's are left unturned, we will be compositing different feat's from different version's of the character's. As such video game exclusive transformation's for Vegeta will be taking into account, as will GT and the DBZ movies.
soul: This also means Sonic and Shadow will get Archie and Sonic X feats. He's Scythe and I'm Soul, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

soul: YOU KNOW THE STORY FOKES! Goku and Vegeta are the last two full blooded Saiyan's, their warrior race decimated by the evil tyrant Freeza. They lived separate lives for years till they finally met. Though enemy's at first they eventually put their differences aside to take on Freeza and avenge their race.

scythe: speaking of Super Saiyan 4, it's said to be the "Ultimate Saiyan battle form" and possibly stronger than gods. It lacks a stamina drain, making it very useful in combat, and overall one of the strongest saiyan forms in existence.

scythe: Goku and Vegeta do not have a single method of fusion however. Through the power of the Kai's potara, they can fuse into the ultimate warrior: Vegito.

scythe: However Goku and Vegeta are NOT perfect, despite what most of the internet want's you to think. The are cocky, posses limited Ki, most Super Saiyan forms drain stamina quickly, and then often fight each other more then their enemy's. Still, whenever the universe is in peril, you can always count on Goku and Vegeta to save the day...given a minimum of 20 episodes and some filler.

scythe: Sonic and Shadow come from two entirely separate backgrounds. Shadow was born on the Space Colony Ark 50 years ago, while Sonic was born on Earth with the gift of super speed. While enemy's at first, Sonic and Shadow eventually became ally's in the never-ending quest for justice.

scythe: Shadow's Chaos Blast his unquestionably his most powerful attack. This attack was powerful enough to destroy just about everything around him within seconds. The Chaos Boost has 3 levels, and can temporarily increase his stats. And like Shadow, Sonic can use Chaos Control to manipulate time and space.
soul: The Sonic wind is Sonic's main energy attack, which is a sortta energy vortex Sonic used in SA2. The Sonic Wave was used in Sonic Battle, and is created from Sonic releasing a burst of Chaos Energy from a spin-dash charge.

soul: Hyper Sonic was only used within one game, but still holds a reputation as Sonic's ultimate form. The form is said to at least 2 to 3 times stronger than Dark Sonic, as well as faster and more powerful chaos energy attacks. He can further increase his speed with the Hyper Flash, or release a blast of pure chaos energy with the Hyper Flash.
Sonic and Shadow: Feats[]
- Sonic alone: Defeated multiple death egg robos, Metal Sonic, Perfect Chaos, and many more
- Sonic w/ classic Sonic: beat the time eater
- Shadow alone: Defeated the Biolizerd, Black Doom, Mephiles The Dark, teleported the Metarex fleet to another dimension, teleported the Black comet to space from Earth's ground.

scythe: Sonic and Shadow have taken on and defeated godly beings like Chaos, Black Doom, Mephiles, and many more. In fact, Super Sonic was able to defeat Enerjack, which was pretty much Super Knuckles with god armor. Keep in mind Super Knuckles is around the same strength as Super Sonic.
soul: Super Shadow was powerful enough to lift and teleport the Black Comet, home of the Black arms, which would weight at least nine hundred fifteen MILLION tons. In fact, Shadow was able to teleport it as well. According to Sonic lore, the bigger the object is/the more it weighs makes it harder to teleport.

scythe: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
soul: IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATLE!!!
(*Random DBZ wasteland*)
As the sky's darken, Sonic and Shadow are shown speeding through a wasteland at mach speeds. Sonic looks up at the pitch black sky before looking over at Shadow with a sigh.
Sonic: Why can't we just teleport there?
Shadow: Huh?
Sonic: If this is so important, why can't we just Chaos Control over there?
Shadow: We don't want to alarm whoever may be doing this. We have the element of surprise on our side.
The two hedgehogs stopped and a cliff, ducking down and looking to find two men standing in front a dragon.
Sonic: Woah, that things huge.
Vegeta suddenly turned around and shot an energy blast as the dragon vanished, seven orbs flying off. Shadow grabbed Sonic's arm and teleported them away from the blast, up into the air where the hedgehogs flew down to strike the saiyans.

Vegeta growled and flew up, grabbing Shadow and tossing the black hedgehog to the ground. Sonic charged up and spin-dashed away, quickly making a 180 turn and flinging himself into Vegeta's gut, leaving him open to a homing attack from Shadow. Goku rushed in, kicking Sonic back and flying after him, Shadow back flipping into the air and landing on Goku, only for Vegeta to blast him back.
Sonic: Oh, so this is how we're doing it.
Goku: Get ready hedgehog.
Shadow: You've made a grave mistake challenging me. I'm the ultimate life form, Shadow The Hedgehog
Vegeta: You, The Ultimate Life Form? Pathetic.
Shadow sped forward and kicked Vegeta with his rocket shoes as Goku slammed into Sonic. Sonic started running in a large circle around the battlefield before slamming himself into Goku, then Vegeta, Shadow following up by roundhouse kicking Vegeta into Goku.
Vegeta: Stupid Hedgehog!
Vegeta powered up and rushed at the Hedgehogs, slamming Shadow into a rock and kicked Sonic back. Sonic smirked and charged up an energy orb in his hand.
Sonic: Sonic wind!
A blue energy vortex suddenly flew forward and basted Vegeta, Sonic speeding in and rapidly punching the Saiyan prince. Shadow lunged up and slammed his fist into Goku's gut, Goku responding by kicking Shadow in the face.
Goku: How bout this! Kaio-Ken!
Shadow: Chaos Boost!

Both Goku and Shadow where engulfed in a red aura and began dashing around, ramming into each other multiple times with all their strength. Goku launched himself off a rock and kicked Shadow back, the black hedgehog curling up into a ball and teleporting behind Goku, rocketing into the saiyan's back. Shadow then yelled out and pushed his Chaos Boost to Level 2.
Shadow: Sonic!
Sonic: Alright.
Shadow hopped up and Sonic jumped up after him. Shadow charged a Chaos Spear, Sonic charging a mid-air spin-dash. Goku looked up and charged a blue energy blast, Vegeta flying over and charging a purple one.
Goku: Kaaaaaaameeeee...Haaaaaameeeeeeee...HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Vegeta: Galick gun...FIRE!!
Shadow: CHAOS LANCE!
Shadow fired a Chaos Lance, using it to boost Sonic's spin-dash through the Kamehameha and Galick Gun, allowing Sonic to crash into Vegeta and then homing attack Goku as Shadow floated down and ended his Chaos Boost.
Sonic: Alright, too easy.
Shadow: Don't get cocky Sonic.
Goku: I gotta admit, Your strong. So strong, I gotta do this!
Goku canceled out his kaio-ken, suddenly gaining a gold aura as his hair spiked up and turned golden. Vegeta quickly did this as well, both saiyan's smirking.
Goku/Vegeta: Behold the power of Super Saiyan!
Sonic and Shadow looked at each other and smirked, summoning the Chaos Emeralds and transforming into their super forms.
Shadow: Before this is over, I'll show you the true power of CHAOS CONTROL!
Sonic: Awe ya, this is happening!
Goku rushed up and uppercutted Sonic, flying after him as Shadow and Vegeta rushed forward and slammed into each other. Sonic stopped and grabbed Goku's fist when his went in for another punch and kneed the saiyan in the gut, following by kicking him in the head and sending him back down to earth. Shadow kicked Vegeta on the back, dodging the saiyan prince's attacks and punching his gut, following with a burst of chaos energy blasting him back.
Vegeta: DAMN YOU! BIG BANG ATTACK!!
Vegeta fired the energy blast, Shadow just standing there as the blast hit him and exploded in his face, leaving a large cloud of smoke. Shadow walking out completely unscathed and his super form still glowing, and the saiyan before him shocked.
Vegeta: B-but how?
Shadow: I told you. I'm the ultimate life form, SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG!
Shadow rushed forward at light speed and slammed his fist into Vegeta's chest, causing Vegeta to spit out some blood and power back to base form, passing out and falling over from the pain.
Shadow: Now stay down.
Sonic flew back as Goku tried to punch him and kicked the saiyan in the gut, launching higher into the air and teleporting above him to knock him back down. Shadow teleported under Goku and flew up, round house kicking the saiyan back up to Sonic. Sonic smirked charged an energy wave, blasting it down at Goku
Sonic: SONIC WAVE!
Shadow: CHAOS SPEAR!
The Sonic wave slammed into Goku, launching him back into the Chaos Spear. Goku took both blasts and upped it to Super Saiyan 2, both hedgehogs flying at him. Goku smirked and waited till they where close and then-
Goku: SOLAR FLAIR!
Goku blinded both hedgehogs and instant transmissioned over to Vegeta, pulling out a senzu been, quickly feeding it to Vegeta and stepped back as Vegeta gasped and got up. Vegeta looked at Goku and sighed turning Super Saiyan 2 as well.
Vegeta: Damnit. I'll make that black hedgehog pay!
Sonic crashed into Vegeta at high speeds, punching the saiyan prince at rapid speeds with all high might. Goku turned at the last possible second and dodged an attack from Shadow, punching him back and flying after. Shadow flew back and stopped, smirking as he waited for Goku to rush at him. Goku charge at Shadow and turned Super Saiyan 3, getting ready for a dragon fist when he froze. As did Sonic and Vegeta. Shadow floated over and started glowing red.
Shadow: Chaos...BLAST!!
A red blast flew out from Shadow and sent Goku flying. As time began mobbing again, Vegeta noticed the Chaos Blast coming and tired to block it, but was sent back as well. Sonic, still in his super form, began rapidly spin-dashing Vegeta. The saiyan prince went Super Saiyan 3, but was almost instantly met with a double attack barrage from the two hedgehogs.
Vegeta: D...damn it! Why can't we beat them!?
Goku: Vegeta...we have to fuse...we gotta become Gogeta or we'll die.
Vegeta: Fine. I'll put up with it for the sake of our saiyan pride.
The two saiyans got up and detransformed, and got into the fusion dance pose.
Goku/Vegeta: Fuuu..sion...HA!
The two saiyans did the fusion dance, and a white light emerged as they fused into the mighty warrior, Super Saiyan Gogeta.

Gogeta wasted no time rushing up, kicking Sonic and dodging multiple attacks from Shadow, kicking the "ultimate" life form in the gut and sidestepping a spin-dash from Sonic, causing the two hedgehogs to crash into each other. Shadow growled and threw some rapid punched, Gogeta simply blocking them.
Shadow: Wha...imposable. WHO YOU ARE!?
Gogeta: I am neither Goku nor Vegeta, I am the one who will destroy you!
Gogeta slammed Shadow away, flying after him and rapidly beating on him, grabbing the Hedgehog's legs and throwing him down, creating the soul punisher orb and throwing it at Shadow, creating an explosion. Sonic flew over, finding only Gogeta, a crater, Shadow's two inhibitor rings.
Sonic: You...you killed him...YOU KILLED HIM!!!
Sonic fell to the ground and detransformed, struggling to hold his tears back. Suddenly, he let out a loud yell of rage as his quills stood up like Super Sonic, but he tuned black. Standing back up, Gogeta could see Sonic had powered up through rage. He had become, Dark Super Sonic. Gogeta smirked and in response, turned Super Saiyan 4.
Dark Sonic rushed up at Gogeta slammed his fist into the fusions chest, rapidly punching from a blind rage. Gogeta hadn't been expecting anything, and Dark Sonic's blind range had taken an advantage. Dark Sonic kicked Gogeta down to the ground and grabbed the fusion's face, grinding into the ground. Gogeta vanished and kicked Sonic in the back, grabbing his leg and tossing him up. Gogeta flew after him, and Dark Sonic spin-dashed down at Gogeta. Gogeta smirked and charged up a powerful energy attack.
Gogeta: Big back...KAMEHAMEHA!!!
The big bang Kamehameha launched Sonic back into the air, sending him into orbit. Gogeta kicked Sonic, punched him a few times and launched him away, charging up his strongest blast.
Gogeta: TIME'S 100 BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHA!!!
The blast hit Sonic square in the face, mortally injuring and nearly killing him. Sonic's Dark form faded and the blue blur began falling from orbit, the scars in his blue quills leaking bits of blood. As he fell from orbit, he felt something slowing his fall. And there they where, the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic reached a hand out, and he stopped falling. He smirked as the emeralds grew larger, and he knew what was next.
Gogeta chuckled as he defused, Goku and Vegeta separating into their Super Saiyan 4 states, when Super Sonic rushed up from the planet back into space and spin-dashed Goku in the chest, chaining into multiple homing attacks on Vegeta. Sonic smirked and flew blasts the ki blasts sent his way, floating back and his trademark cocky smirk.
Vegeta: Just give up hedgehog! You can't beat both of us!
Goku: I'm with Vegeta on this one. You've up a great fight, but it's over. Your current form is weaker than your black one, and it could barely stand up to Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. Just surrender.
Sonic: Hehe, there's something you should know about me.
Vegeta: And that is?
The golden hedgehog chuckled and looked at a star that could be seen behind Vegeta and Goku, his arm arms and legs looking very relaxed.
Sonic: My friends always come through when I need them.

A blinding gold light suddenly erupted as Sonic kicked Goku into Vegeta, a golden orb slamming into both Saiyans launching them down to the planet. Sonic and the orb both rushed down after the saiyans, going light speed and slamming into them both, tossing them around like ragdolls. Sonic grabbed Vegeta's Super Saiyan 4 tails and spun him around into Goku. When Goku and Vegeta stood up, they saw Sonic floating above them, Super Shadow floating next to him.
Shadow: If you actually though you defeated me, then you are more naïve then I thought, You cannot comprehend the powers of Chaos Control. And with my inhibitor rings gone, I can unleash my true power.
Sonic: And I can do THIS!
Sonic surrounded himself with the Super Emeralds, much larger Chaos Emeralds, let out a yell. A bright light shone out from Sonic as his fur once again changed color. His fur went from a golden representing Super Sonic, to a pure silver. Sonic smirked and held out a hand.
Vegeta: hmmf, doesn't that strong.
Sonic: Sonic wind!
The now silver blue blur fired the energy blast from his palm, the blast knocking Goku both Saiyan's back several yards and knocking them out of their Super Saiyan 4 forms. Sonic rushed at threw a punch Goku, who went Super Saiyan God and blocked said punch.
Sonic smirked and kicked Goku back, rushing after him in a blinding silver aura. The hedgehog rapidly slammed against Goku, while Shadow charged Vegeta. Vegeta yelled out and went Super Saiyan Blue charged Shadow, slamming Shadow into a large mountain, firing ki blasts at it to destroy the mountain. Shadow rushed out and spin-dashed Vegeta's chest then kicked him into the air. Shadow charged up after him and began rapidly beating on him. Sonic kneed Goku in the gut and dodged a few punched, kicking Goku in the back of the head, launching him into Vegeta. Sonic flew behind Vegeta and kicked him into Goku, then flying above both saiyans and blasting them down with a burst of Chaos Energy. Shadow teleported below the two and charged up a powerful blast, turning red as he did.
Shadow: CHAOS...BLAST!!
Goku and Vegeta fell directly into the Chaos Blast, the attack launching them in separate directions. Sonic rushed after Vegeta charged through a Galick Gun, head-butting the saiyan's chest and throwing a barrage of punches at his face. Shadow warped after Goku and kicked him in the back, snapping his fingers to stop time, then barraging him with spin-dash attacks and chaos spears from all directions. When time restarted, Goku yelled out and fell to the ground, only to instant transmission away. Sonic charged at Vegeta, only to get kicked away by Goku
Goku: Vegeta, we need to use the Potara.
Vegeta: NO WAY KAKAROT!! I'M NOT SHARING ANOTHER BODY YOU WITH YOU!!
Goku: Do it or we'll die!
Goku detransformed and threw Vegeta a Potara earing, putting the other one on. Vegeta detransformed as well and put the Potara on, the two flying together and turning into the ultimate warrior.
Sonic: Huh? Who's that?
Vegito: Vegeta and Kakarot combined. Guess you can all me Vegito. And this-
Shadow warped over next to Sonic as Vegito powered up into Super Saiyan Blue.
Vegito: IS VEGITO BLUE!!

Sonic charged Vegito and two clashed fists, Sonic quickly upercutting the fusion. Shadow charged in and spin-dashed Vegito back, Sonic chaos controlling behind and kicking Vegito down. Vegito rose up and formed his spirit sword, swinging and slashing at the two hedgehogs. Sonic smirked and rushed up to slam in fist into Vegtio's gut, only for his hyper form to wear off.
Shadow: I got ya!
Shadow quickly stopped time with Chaos Control and launched Vegito away, helping Sonic to the ground and unstopping time.
Shadow: Wait here. Recharge your Hyper form. I can hold him off with the Chaos Boost.
Sonic: Good luck Shadow.
Shadow charged back up, glowing red as he yelled out "Chaos Boost, level 3!" and powered up to his fullest. Vegito smirked and disappeared, returning behind Shadow and kicking him in the back. Shadow flew back, turning around and shooting a few chaos spears at Vegito, the fusion dodging and rushing forward, punching him in the face with a god ki energized punch. Shadow rushed in to kick Vegito, only for the fusion to dodge and barrage him with blue energy orbs.
Shadow: Damnit...hurry up Sonic...
Sonic: ON MY WAY!!
Sonic dashed across the waist land, going from his base form to his Super form, flying into the air and going hyper and knocking Vegito away.
Sonic: Hey, what if we try Light Speed Attack?

The two curled up into their ball forms, energy absorbing to both of them. Vegito flew back over to fins Sonic surrounded by mix of a blue and silver aura and Shadow a mix red and gold.
Shadow: There's no time to play games-
Sonic: -you won't even get the chance.
Both hedgehogs took off, moving faster than Vegito could track. Vegito turned every which way to try and find them.
Vegito: Where did they go!? I can't track their movements!?
Sonic: Check out my speed now!
Shadow: Don't blink!
Sonic rammed into Vegito, then Shadow, then Sonic again. The two continued tossing him around like a ragdoll, eventually they both came together and kicked him in the same direction. They both charged at Vegito, Sonic turning pure white and Shadow turning pure red. Vegito growled and fired his final attack, knowing this wall all or nothing.
Vegito: FINAL KAMEHAMEHA!!!!
The two hedgehogs ripped there way through the blast until they where face to face with the fusion, and they let rip a huge storm of raw chaos energy.
Shadow: CHAOS BLAST!!!
Sonic: HYPER FLASH!!!!
The Red and White energy exploded away from the hedgehogs in every direction, overtaking most of the wasteland and Vegito entirely. When it finally ended all that could be seen left of the fight where two hedgehogs, cracked Potara earrings, and a torn peace of a blue gi.
Sonic and Shadow are shown in their normal super forms, Shadow with his inhibitor rings back on, flying back to Station Square.
Goku and Vegeta are shown in otherworld with Elder kai, Goku comically apologizing for breakingoosing the Potara.

soul: IT'S OVER! IT'S FINALLY OVER!! WE NEVER HAVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT AGAIN!!!
scythe: This fight was INSANELY close. Goku and Vegeta had more super forms, fusions, better base durability, and experience, but the hedgehog's had a surprising advantage in physical power.
soul: Vegito Blue could, at most, rival Merged Zamasu, who actually ranks in at Universal+. Archie Super Sonic took on Enerjack, who is stated to be at Multiversal level. Sure, Goku beat Demigra, who also ranks in at Multiversal, but Goku needed the help of Time Patroller Ace and Demigra was already weakened.
scythe: It is also implied Ace was faaaar stronger than Goku, as he was able to beat both Beerus and Whis. Also Ace could beat Demigra alone if fast enough, meaning Goku really didn't need to be there. There's also no question the hedgehog's where faster. Proof being that Sonic was able to cross over one thousand dimensions in a day. Shadow should scale to Sonic's level, though slightly weaker. Honestly, Shadow probably didn't even need to be herse for Sonic to win this alone in his hyper form.
