Description[]
Gohan and Superboy Prime. Let's face it. Goku vs Superman has been done to death, so it's about time we let those who want to follow in their footstep get in on the action. Not only are these 2 potential as strong if not much stronger than those who came before them, but they also have a serious case of anger issues. But who's anger will let them live another day?
Intro[]
Wiz: Gohan. The prodigal son of Son Goku from Dragon Ball.

Boomstick: Superboy Prime. The Superman of the Earth Prime Universe.

Wiz: Though we may have been granted the opportunity to follow those who came before us, there is always a chance for the later generation to take an alternative path. For better and for worse.
Boomstick: Though it doesn't help others that despite their great power, they are even stronger when they get angry. And we're here to see which of these guy's rage can save them from the brink of death. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to see who would win a Death Battle.
Gohan unlocks his potential in Death Battle[]
Wiz: Son Goku. We all know his story. One day he came to Earth as a baby, and throughout the years has protected earth from several threats. From the terrorist organization of the Red Ribbon army to the Namekian Demon King Piccolo.
Boomstick: And even his son Piccolo Jr. But after many years of fighting, Goku would get married and settle down... somehow. I mean the dude has an IQ lower than the temperature in Alaska. Who would want to marry this guy?
Wiz: Why the daughter of the Ox-King no less. In time, Goku and Chi Chi would eventually get married and sooner rather than later, they would have a son.
Boomstick: Upon birth, Goku decided to name his first son after the very man who raised him on Earth. You know one of the many people Goku accidentally killed when he went full King Kong? So this child's name was Son Gohan to uphold his honor.

Wiz: Growing up Gohan lived a pretty quiet life. Being very well educated for his young age. However despite being the son to Goku, there was 1 thing he didn't inherit from his father; the love for fighting.
Boomstick: Yeah despite the fact that the Saiyans are known for being ruthless warriors, Gohan is basically the exact opposite. A complete coward, wanting nothing to do with fighting. Though for the first 4 years it wasn't that bad for him. Well until Goku's brother Raditz came to town with a very negative attitude.
Wiz: Being furious at his brother for supposedly not enslaving the planet, Raditz decided to take Gohan and train him to be an actual Saiyan.
Boomstick: Even when Goku was forced to team up with his old nemesis Piccolo, the 2 of them together were no match for Raditz. All seemed lost... until Gohan of all people came to the heroes aid, being completly mad at his supposed uncle hurting his dad.
Wiz: Despite never receiving a single second of training, Gohan's power had risen to a point beyond that of his dad. With his actions giving Goku and Piccolo the opportunity they needed to kill Raditz... and also Goku in the process. Not a good sign as the killing of Raditz had alerted 2 other Saiyans, Vegeta and Nappa, and would arrive on Earth within 1 year.
Boomstick: Naturally everyone was pretty scared, but after witnessing Gohan's potential, Piccolo believed him to be the world's last hope should Goku not return in time. So after stealing his ass from his friends, Piccolo took Gohan and trained him to use his potential in the right way.
Wiz: Under Piccolo's training, Gohan can harness his Ki for several purposes. Not only can he use it to already heighten his already superhuman strength, speed and durability, but he can even use it for flight and...
Boomstick: And shoot energy attacks to obliterate his foes. Like a range of energy volleys or even a powerful blast called Masenko. He can even exert his own Ki energy for an omnidirectional blast.
Wiz: Though Ki isn't just about shooting energy. Thanks to his training, Gohan can trace a person's own Ki energy, enhance his strikes, shoot pressurized air blast and can even form a specialize Ki barrier that can even block out poisons.
Boomstick: And thanks to his Saiyan Bloodline, Gohan can even heighten his own power by coming back from a near death state. That's basically the whole point of a Saiyan's biology. The ability to constantly get stronger, no matter what.
Wiz: It was with this potential that Piccolo sought to utilize but during his incredibly harsh training style, Gohan's innocence and drive to make those around him proud had caused a conflict with Piccolo's previous morals.
Boomstick: Yeah despite that this dude WAS a pretty big dickhead, Gohan made him see the world a lot less miserable and even viewed Gohan as a friend. Kind of sucks for Gohan when he sacrificed his life in order to save the little runt from Vegeta and Nappa.
Wiz: Though despite them defeating the Saiyans, it came with a multitude of sacrifice. In order to revive the one who meant the most to him, he decided to help Bulma and Krillin on their trip to Namek to revive their friends. Which proved a lot harder than they expected as Namek had been taken over by the alien tyrant Frieza.
Boomstick: Jesus for a guy who dislikes fighting, this guy can't seem to catch a break. Even way after saving friends and leaving Namek, Gohan was always forced into the battle. Whether it would be against a giant pink blob or even facing a bio engineered android with a Perfect Jawline.
Wiz: But it may have been for the best. As Piccolo pointed out, Gohan's potential was incredible. Even capable of surpassing his own father Goku. Which is why Piccolo constantly eggs Gohan on about keeping up with his training. For if Goku or Vegeta were unable to protect Earth, he would be the Earth's last line of defense.
Boomstick: Whether Gohan liked to do that is debatable but with many years of training, Gohan has picked up on a lot more new techniques. Like his family's signature attack, the Kamehameha. A pure concentrated Ki blast that people really don't want to get in the way of.
Wiz: And unlike his father, Gohan is capable of performing the attack with just a single arm. Regardless of the timeline apparently.

Boomstick: But despite his awesome powers, as time went on he would fight foes that he couldn't defeat without a little kick. Because Saiyan's powers are an even bigger force of danger than at first glance.
Wiz: This is through the Saiyan's ability to call upon the form of Super Saiyans.
Boomstick: Letting them have the power... to go blonde. But no really, Super Saiyans are absolute powerhouses. Dramatically increasing their power to match their foes. But as time went on Gohan learned the existence of other Saiyan transformations.
Popup: After training with Goku in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Gohan was able to use his Super Saiyan form without any power drawbacks.
Wiz: Like when the "supposedly" dangerous Android 16 gave his life for Gohan to surpass his limits. Despite being specifically designed to kill Goku, 16 was a relatively peaceful Android. Wanting less to do with fighting yet being forced to the line of battle... just like Gohan.
Boomstick: And with his death by Cell, Gohan had risen to the level of Super Saiyan 2. This form is a great step up from the previous transformation. It's so strong that he easily overpowered Cell and even held his ground against him after he received a Zenkai boost.
Wiz: Perfect Cell's power was extraordinary. Not only was he strong enough to contend with Super Saiyan Goku, but after his Zenkai boost his power grew to the point where he can blow away the entire Solar System.
Boomstick: And Gohan matched this dude and even overpowered him in a godlike Kamehameha clash. Let me repeat. He overpowered a Solar System destroyer... and he was only 11 years old at the time.
Wiz: Though when the evil alien Buu made his way to Earth, Gohan was able to obtain a new power. After a pretty tedious ritual sequence, Gohan had learned how to unleash his inner potential to the fullest.
Boomstick: Becoming Potential Unleashed Gohan... or Mystic Gohan... or Ultimate Gohan. I don't know this form had gone under many names. Though if I recall it wouldn't be the first time Gohan had his inner potential awakened.
Wiz: Well confusing naming aside, this form granted Gohan an absolutely powerful increase. Pretty interesting as this new transformation is entirely separate to the traditional Saiyan transformation line.
Popup: While it never happened in canon it has been implied that Gohan is capable of utilizing both his Super Saiyan and Potential Unleashed transformations together. He was able to in the original release of "Battle of Gods" before getting shelved and the process can be seen as similar to Goku and Vegeta using Super Saiyan Blue.
Boomstick: But if it gives you a bigger power boost than before then it doesn't matter to me. Sure the extent of this forms power is questionable but we do know that it way above the Saiyan transformation.
Wiz: Right. As seen with Goku and Gotenks' individual fights with Buu, they tend to be roughly on par with each other when their Super Saiyan 3s. But once Gohan had his potential awakened, he was able to effortlessly overwhelm Buu far beyond his Father and Gotenks. Who was a fusion of Trunks and Goten, Gohan's little brother.

Boomstick: So he's not only stronger than a Super Saiyan 3, but also a Fusion Super Saiyan 3. Awesome. Too bad as time went on, this immense power he had kind of faded away. This would all lead into Gohan becoming... A SUPER NEEEEEERRRRRRDDDDD!!!
Wiz: Though he was able to regain his previous power back. Though quite surprisingly, receiving very little training and reawakening his potential only proved how strong Gohan can become if he continued training. Such was the case for when Universe 7 was at stake of destruction.
Boomstick: To prepare for this, Gohan was retaught everything he learned and decided to test his might against his dad Goku. And he was able to keep up with him and even temporarily overwhelm him, even when Goku was in Super Saiyan Blue. You know, the Super Saiyan transformation akin to the gods.
Wiz: This is impressive as even when Goku was a regular Super Saiyan God, he can throw punches capable of destroying all of Universe 7 as well as creating shockwaves that crossed all of it in mere seconds. A universe we've estimated to be 13 times larger than our own observable universe. And Gohan can hold his own against a form that is much stronger than this.
Boomstick: It was with his training that lets him take on some of the most powerful mofo's in the entire Multiverse. Though he may not be able to always take on his foes alone, but it is nice that he is always accompanied by his friends to help him push through.
Wiz: Quite literally in fact. For thanks to his friends Gohan was able to attain new levels of power, though it may not in the way you might think.
Boomstick: Yeah, F*ck the Power of Friendship. For some of their battles, Gohan's friends have always been pushed to their limits and sometimes even to near death. Which kind of pissed off Gohan for not being strong enough to protect his loved ones.
Wiz: And as it turns out, Rage is another key components that allows a Saiyan to get stronger. And sometimes a Saiyan's rage can reach new levels of power.
Boomstick: Just like how Gohan attained Super Saiyan 2 against Cell. Even years later when the Red Ribbon Army made new androids to kill Gohan, some shorty decided that their biggest weapon would a replicant of Cell. Only this time, his name was Cell Max.
Wiz: In a fight that nearly killed Piccolo, Gohan's rage had increased to a point where he obtained a new transformation. A form called, Beast Gohan. A literal personification of "Unleashing the Beast Within".
Boomstick: Beast Gohan? That's seriously it's name? What happened to Gohan Blanco. Seriously. He just looks like a Super Saiyan 2 with white hair.
Wiz: Well whatever your view on the name might be, one thing that can be certain. Beast Gohan is an absolute "Beast". Get it?
Boomstick: Dude, puns are my thing. But yeah the form is ridiculously powerful. It made complete work of Cell Max in less than 5 minutes all with his mentor's signature move, the Mekanzapalapagah. Uh I mean the Special Beam Cannon. According to Toriyama himself, Cell Max was even capable of surpassing that of even Broly. You know the Green Hair Saiyan that can shatter the dimensional barrier with his attacks?

Wiz: Accomplishing a feat of this magnitude would put Beast Gohan in the higher hierarchy of Dragon Ball's heaviest hitters. Like Jiren, Gogeta and even his father Goku as Ultra Instinct.
Boomstick: You know, despite not being a fighter, he sure came a long way from that wimpy kid he originally was. Taking out beings who can take on gods is 1 way I can see protecting the planet you live on.
Wiz: As noted by Gohan when he does eventually decide to go into the battle, he intends to strive on a path different from Goku's. Instead of fighting like his inner Saiyan, Gohan plans on getting stronger without relying on his Saiyan half, but rather his human side.
Boomstick: That's... honestly pretty sweet. And a whole lot better than the humans we all know. But regardless of what fighting ideology Gohan favors, it will not stop him from fighting every last foe in the world that threatens his homeland. So good luck fighting this guy, and for god sake don't piss him off.
Gohan: Fight you? No... I'm gonna kill you.
Superboy Prime will kill you to death in Death Battle[]
Wiz: At first glance when gazing upon the universe you may think that it is an endless reality that we are living in. And whether or not that is true, there is always the possibility for other worlds to exist along side our own. This is the idea of a Multiverse.
Boomstick: An idea that not only some nerds came up with, but something that will lead to a massive marketing scheme for existing franchises. And in the world of DC, it's no different. With alternate versions of our favorite characters existing, some being more weird than cool.
Wiz: And within the world of DC, it's only natural for there to exist multiple versions of Superman, who is arguable the most iconic superhero in all of fiction.
Boomstick: This guy has multiple incarnations throughout the multiverse. We've got a universe where Superman is a cyborg, a universe where Superman is a Nazi, a universe where Superman is Henry Cavill, and my personal favorite is the one where Superman is called Milkman Man. Despite being a multiverse of endless possibility, it seems that all of them have some of the most bizarre sh*t you can think of.
Wiz: But out of all the endless versions of Superman, one of the more unique ones comes from a universe where comics are just fictional. This is the Kal El from Earth Prime. But also known by his superhero name, Superboy.

Boomstick: Wait, Superboy? Why isn't he called Superman like every other Clark Kent? Is this guy secretly Conner or Jonathan Kent?
Wiz: Well neither but I'll explain later. But a thing to remember in the Multiverse is that everything can be different. While for this Clark Kent's early life is similar to the Superman we all know, there was 1 drastic difference between his world and every other. Our beloved Comic Book stories are all fictional in the Prime Earth Universe.
Boomstick: Except for this Clark apparently. Even growing up and despite the fact that he's a Kryptonian, he didn't even have any sort of powers at all.
Wiz: This alongside the fact that he was a lot younger than his original counterpart, he would often be teased with the name "Superboy". However everything changed when he was able to have a fated encounter with the Superman from Earth One.
Boomstick: Along with the power of a cosmic vortex, it was able to awaken Superboy's dormant Kryptonian physiology. Granting him the power of everything a Superman can want. Super Strength, Super Speed, Near Invulnerability, the works. Just in the nick of time too, as Superman needed his help to save the multiverse. Reliant to show his new gifts in action, Boy joined Superman in the fight against the Anti Monitor.
Wiz: Too bad this act was more costly than he could ever had expected. As the defeat of the Anti Monitor also destroyed the Earth Prime universe, leaving Superboy without a home to go back too. But thanks to Earth 3 Alexander Luthor, Superboy was offered a place where he can be at peace.
Boomstick: All things went well for a while, until Superboy kind of went a little insane. You see the pocket dimension that Superboy was in he was able to view what was currently happening in the new Post Crisis Universe. All while growing even more homesick missing his universe.
Wiz: Letting his rage consume him, he tried desperately to return to the universe he called home. He tried to do this... all by punching the dimensional barrier.
Boomstick: He didn't succeed at first but the aftermath of his punches did have some effect on the universe. As in it was causing events to be retconned. But after some time and more punching he had escaped and begun to wreck havoc on the main DC Universe in hopes to bring back his own world.
Popup: While Superboy Prime needed aid from Alexander Luthor to escape the Paradise Dimension, he is comparable to Earth 2 Superman who can accomplish the same feat without such aid.
Wiz: Too bad for the DCU, because Superboy is easily one of the strongest Supermen around. He's got your usual Kryptonian powers like Heat Vision, Freeze Breath, Flight, and a bioelectric aura that shields him from the most prostegius form of data... Science.
Boomstick: You mean the most confusing and nonsensical form of Data? And much like his counterpart, he has the power to absorb solar energies from the Sun to become even stronger.
Wiz: Though Kryptonians don't just get stronger. Being near solar energies can also completely revitalize a Kryptonian's stamina from a nearly powerless state.
Boomstick: I mean there's a good reason why Kryptonians are as powerful as they are, and Superboy Prime proved that when he made his way into the universe. But he was even more pissed than ever because wouldn't you know, there was another Superboy flying around. So he decided to beat the every living sh*t out of his so called "replacement."
Wiz: This lead to Prime fighting the Teen Titans, Justice Society, and the Doom Patrol all at the same time, with him killing many of their members in the process.

Boomstick: It wasn't until the entire Flash Family decided that the best way to get rid of him was to trap him inside of the Speed Force. All things went well, until the part where Superboy kind of got out of it, being even more pissed than before. And further more he came out even stronger than before, thanks to some new drip he now has.
Wiz: His new armor isn't just for show. It retroactively supplies Superboy with Solar Energies, allowing him to stay in peak physical condition for as long as he needs.
Boomstick: You know I'm starting to wonder. Couldn't they just use some Kryptonite or some Magic? You know the things that Supermen are weak too?
Wiz: Well that's the problem. Remember in the Multiverse, everything can be different. This includes a characters strength and weaknesses. This is important as the universe Prime came from doesn't have any Kryptonite nor Magic.
Boomstick: So he's basically a Superman without any of the drawbacks. Add to the fact that he's a non retconned Pre Crisis character and you've basically have a Superman beyond the definition of busted. Who could stand up to this guy?
Wiz: Not many obviously and many have tried to take Superboy Prime on, only to suffer pain in return. And across the many years of fighting, Prime was able to gain new abilities the main Superman doesn't have. Like how his Solar Absorption grew beyond just absorbing Solar Radiation.
Boomstick: Basically whatever attacks doesn't killed him just made him stronger. Like how he absorbed some of the Magic that allows the Shazam family to turn into... well, Shazams. With it he gained the ability to revert them back to normal with his strikes, basically undoing their transformation.
Wiz: Even after one of the Green Lantern Guardians decided to try to kill Superboy along with himself, it didn't work. Instead it only made things even worse than before.
Boomstick: But time and time again was Superboy soundly defeated. Though the damage he did to the universe was already there. Millions were slaughtered by his hands, and even an entire Justice League in an alternate dimension shared the same fate.
Wiz: It was with this killer resume that lead him into joining forces with teams such as the Sinestro Corps, the Legion of Doom and even the Black Lantern Corps.
Boomstick: He's even had a run in with his future self, who turned out to be the Time Trapper. Instead of Trap Man convincing him to join forces with himself, Prime said "F*ck that" and decided to attack the guy. But since Time Paradoxes exist, it sort of caused an event that kind of wiped them both from existence.
Wiz: Though Superboy survived, somehow, and better yet he was flung back into his home universe. Things were finally looking up for the guy doesn't it?
Boomstick: ...Well was it for the better?
Wiz: God no. Remember the Prime Earth universe views the main DC universe as fictional, being read in the story of a comic book. So with all the killing, murdering and massive anger issues, what do you think people though of Prime when he arrived.
Boomstick: Let me guess, everyone was scared sh*tless because the person they've been reading about was now living in their universe with an easy potential to eradicate them all?
Wiz: Precisely.
Boomstick: Nailed it. This calls for some Beer.
Wiz: Uh you do that. But anyways despite regaining what was lost to him, he was not accepted by his own reality. Eventually he found his way back into the main DC Universe to do what he did best.
Boomstick: Killing people because he was angry. Seriously I'm on a roll today. I mean there is a reason why this dude is do feared across the multiverse. And through his tantrum has performed many feats of insane caliber and blood.
Wiz: He's killed several Green Lanterns at once, punched his foes so hard that the surrounding planets shattered and has even taken on 2 Supermen at once. Post Crisis Superman and Golden Age Superman.
Boomstick: These 2 together are insanely powerful. These 2 once threw hands with each other with enough force that the very universe itself was at Death's Door. A universe mind you that has a radius of over 100 Trillion Light Years.

Wiz: He's not just tough. He's quick enough to combat multiple members of the Flash including Bart Allen, Jay Garrick and Wally West.
Boomstick: The same Wally West who traveled across the universe faster than 2 cosmic gamblers that could instantly teleport. He's even kept pace with Bart Allen who had absorbed a massive amount of Speed Force energy in order to combat Prime.
Popup: Bart Allen absorbing the massive amount of Speed Force energy means he should be superior to Wally West when he ran across the universe. Jay Garrick has even commented that Superboy Prime was faster than Wally West.
Wiz: He's resisted magic from the likes of Mordru, one shotted Power Girl, punched his way out of the Phantom Zone and, get this, is so powerful that he made a Green Lantern Ring feel fear.
Boomstick: Uh... how does a ring that is powered by Willpower feel fear?
Wiz: No idea. But it wouldn't even be the first time he's done something ring related. Such as the time he was in the possession of a Black Lantern Ring and somehow turned into a Red Lantern Ring. And he's even removed said ring from his possession. Which is impressive as removing a Red Lantern Ring could cause a person to die since the Rage it gives off is imbued into the wielders heart.
Boomstick: Holy Batman Ballsacks this guy sounds unkillable. With powers like his, you thinks it's better just to call him Superman right?
Wiz: Well in Prime's eyes maybe, but to the rest of the world that is not the case. As our Superman puts it, being Superman isn't about what planet you came from or what powers you may have or what letter you have on your chest. Being Superman is about what you do with your powers. As in being a massive murderer who killed trillions doesn't make you Superman.
Boomstick: And his time as a murderer would eventually come to an end when he was trapped in the Source Wall by the person he hates the most; Conner Kent. Well also the Titans but it was really Conner he hates the most.
Wiz: And he would remain there ever since... well until a being called Perpetua came along and broke the Wall causing Superboy Prime to escape. It was during that time when he met up with an alternate version of Batman, who made a proposal to Prime. If he helped him, he would forge a new reality that would be ideal to his viewing. A Prime Earth where he is accepted.
Boomstick: Even though he agreed to this plan at first, as time went on he felt for the first time that what he is doing wasn't right. I mean, he made a deal with a Batman who was just as insane as the Joker. That should have been the biggest red flag anyone could have seen.
Wiz: With a little manipulation and a little bit of backstabbing, Prime began to look back on his past actions. Recalling that every time the Multiverse was going to be reseted he had some part in all of it. Only this time, he didn't care what would happen this time around, as those around him have lost faith that he would help them.
Boomstick: But thanks to Krypto The Rock Johnson Super Dog, Superboy Prime for the first time was able to find some comfort in his life. Despite all the terrible things he did, there was one person in multiverse who cared for what he was, even if that said person was a dog.
Wiz: And with this, Superboy decided to join in the cause, taking the battle directly to the Batman Who Laughs or in this case The Darkest Knight.
Boomstick: In a climatic battle that warped reality around them, Superboy Prime went against on of the biggest threats to DC and... actually came out on top.
Wiz: Despite that The Darkest Knight is a being who gained the powers of Doctor Manhattan and had absorbed every Crisis energy that has ever happened, Superboy was still able to withstand attacks from him and return the damage in a painful way.
Boomstick: Yeah Doctor Manhattan. You know the same blue naked man who could literally reshape DC's omniversal cosmology with a mere thought. Even after this guy promised Superboy into making his world a reality, Prime decided that against it and punched the dude with everything he had.
Wiz: Though he did die in the process, his efforts paved the way for our heroes to end the Batman Who Laugh's scheme on ending the multiverse once and for all.
Boomstick: Though he didn't exactly die. Instead he somehow returned to his world, not knowing how it happened. But it turns out, the world was actually pretty accepting of him. Even his girlfriend Laurey didn't seem to mind him.
Wiz: With all he has been through and his sacrifices he made to save the Multiverse, perhaps he has earned the title of Superman after all.
Superboy Prime: Cold? You don't know cold. ...cold is what this universe has made me.
DEATH BATTLE[]
We open up on a distant island. A man in a Purple Gi is sitting on a rock, calming his mind and revitalizing his energy reserves. This was the son of a legendary warrior, Son Gohan. Upon his meditation he could feel a powerful force coming towards the island but he did not hesitate on moving.
In seconds the powerful force that was heading towards the island had arrived and is hovering above said island. Upon inspection the being above the island looked like a Superhero everybody knows and loves, yet at the same time there was something about his design that says that he isn't who he looks to be. This would be the Superman of the Prime Earth Universe, also known as Superboy Prime.
Superboy Prime landed on the island, confused as to where he is.
Superboy Prime: Strange. I don't remember an island like this. Did I miss an issue or something?
As he was pondering where he was, his super hearing was able to pick up that he wasn't alone. He turned around and he sees a man walking towards him. It was Gohan slowly walking towards him.
Gohan: Do you mind? I'm trying to get some good training here.
Superboy Prime didn't like the attitude that Gohan was giving him, so he shifted more of his attention towards him in anger.
Superboy Prime: Where am I? And who are you?
Unlike the increasingly agitated Superboy, Gohan remained talking to him in the same manner as before, only this time he wanted some answers in return.
Gohan: ...You first.
Superboy Prime was clenching his fist in rage. At any time he's ready to beat the information out of Gohan.
Superboy Prime: If you won't tell me, I will have no problem beating it out of you!!!
As Superboy was ready to throw an attack, Gohan got into a fighting position ready to fight if he has to.
Gohan: Well then. Let's see you try.
In a burst of anger Superboy Prime rushed towards Gohan with Gohan keeping pace with his momentum. The two matched fist with the sheer impact causing a shockwave that flung back the water surround the island they were standing on.
Superboy tried to throw another punch but Gohan dodged the attack and landed a powerful kick to his back. Superboy tried to land another punch but Gohan landed an uppercut to his gut sending Superboy flying in the air. As soon as Superboy recovered, he saw Gohan launch a powerful energy blast that nearly annihilated the island, causing a massive smoke cloud.
Gohan could still feel Superboy Prime's presence so he knew he was down for the count. But to his surprise he could hear Superboy Prime laughing.
Superboy Prime: Ha ha. You really think such a pitiful attack could kill me?
Superboy rushed underneath Gohan faster than he could react and grabbed him by his left foot. He then flew downwards towards what remained of the island. He slammed Gohan to the ground and what remained of the island suddenly turned into a non existent island. Superboy Prime then flung Gohan through the ocean with incredible force.
Thinking he had won, he was caught off guard when he could feel a sudden pressure of pure power from where he threw Gohan. He used his enhanced eyesight he noticed that a yellow aura was encompassing Gohan. Gohan transformed into a Super Saiyan and flew at such fast speeds he appeared invisible to the normal human eye.
But Superboy wasn't a human so he was able to keep pace with Gohan's increased speed and power. Gohan flew behind Superboy and tried to land a side chop but Superboy Prime was able to catch the attack with his hands, causing yet another shockwave that created a similar result than earlier.
Gohan used his other hand to fire a powerful Ki blast that released Prime's grip. He then brought his hands together and begun to channel energy while ascending to Super Saiyan 2.
Gohan: Kaaaaaameeeeehaaaaameeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!
He unleashed a powered up Kamehameha that split the ocean. The attack did damage to Superboy Prime but he persisted the attack and fired back with his heat vision. His heat vision match the Kamehameha and soon it was able to overpower the attack. Gohan avoided the attack in the nick of time but the attack vaporized so much water that it was causing global problems.
The mere sight of this destruction was enough to get Gohan to worry.
Gohan: Stop!!! You're causing too much destruction.
Superboy Prime: Not my universe, not my problem.
Superboy flew to Gohan at speeds faster than even his own eyes could keep track of and launched Gohan to the moon with an uppercut. Gohan was feeling massive pain but it didn't stop him from jumping out of the way of Superboy Prime's trajectory. He moved out of the way at just the nick of time before Superboy obliterated the moon. This act was causing even more damage to the earth and it was starting to get Gohan angry.
Superboy Prime: You're dead meat scumbag.
The rage begun to overtake Gohan's body and his power grew to new heights. This anger increase allowed him to stop Superboy's punch in mid air and he threw a kick that knocked the wind out of Superboy.
Gohan: ENOUGH!!!!
He then put both of his hands and prepared to fire another Ki attack.
Gohan: MASENKO!!!!!!!
With those words he had launched Superboy Prime to the moon in under 3 seconds. Even after thinking he was dead, Gohan's rage didn't falter. It was probably for the better as Superboy Prime was still alive and even worse was powered up by the sun. He was able to withstand the blast and was starting to get enraged as well.
After reenergizing, Superboy Prime flew at Gohan at incredible speeds and threw a punch. Gohan responded appropriately and threw his own punch. The two attacks collided causing a shockwave that was breaking down the planets in the solar system. Unfortunately Gohan was overpowered by Superboy and was launched through numerous planets and landed in a nearby solar system. He gushed out blood from his mouth and tried to get up. Despite feeling incredible pain, he forced himself up.
Superboy Prime quickly flew to Gohan's position and began to interrogate him.
Superboy Prime: Had enough? If you had just told me where I was, none of this would have happened.
As he was talking, Gohan pull out a Senzu Bean and ate it. In doing so he was able to completely revitalize his energy.
Gohan: You know for someone of your age, you sure act like a child.
Gohan was of course teasing him into getting closer, and it worked. In a fit of rage, Superboy flew towards Gohan at high speeds which Gohan responded by dropping his Super Saiyan forms and and entered his Potential Unleashed state. Gohan blocked Superboy's punch and sent him flying backwards with a headbutt. Gohan then grabbed Superboy by his waist and suplexed him into the planet they were fighting on, destroying it.
The 2 continued to fight in the vacuum of space with each of them landing devastating blows. Gohan launches a powerful Kamehameha directly at Superboy but he withstands the blast and strikes back with a powerful punch. After that he grabbed Gohan by the neck and proceeded to fly him into nearby planets destroying them as they continue.
If you couldn't tell by now everywhere they fought only brings destruction. Superboy then grabbed Gohan by the face and unleashed a powerful Heat Vision. Gohan set up a Ki Barrier around his body to soften the blow. Gohan then gathered Ki in his body and released an explosion that made Superboy lose his grip.
In the brief moment that Prime was stunned, Gohan rushed in a slammed his elbow in Superboy's stomach. He then flew behind him and kicked his back with enough force to launch Superboy into a nearby planet. As he landed it caused a crater big enough to be seen from space, but all it did was get Superboy even madder than before.
Superboy Prime: That hurt! THAT REALLY FREAKING HURT!!!!
As he said that, the area in the sky suddenly turned into a blinding flash of light. In the middle of that blinding light was Gohan, only this time his hair had gotten longer and the color is now White. Gohan had now assumed the transformation of his most powerful form; Beast Gohan.
Gohan: That didn't hurt.
Superboy Prime then flew towards Gohan and delivered a punch to his chest with enough force that the shockwaves can be felt throughout the universe. Despite that, the attack did little to faze Gohan.
Gohan: You want to know why?
Superboy Prime tried to throw another punch with a fist full of rage but Gohan intercepted the punch with his hand.
Gohan: Because what I'm about to do, will make these last minutes feel like getting hit by the wind.
After that sentence, Gohan kneed Superboy in the stomach with so much that he was sent to the other side of the universe, crashing through numerous planets until it slowed his momentum enough to land without destroying anything. Superboy got up starting to feel the pain of the attack and while he got up he saw Gohan standing in front of him, seemingly looking down upon his weakness.
Superboy got up and tried to deliver a punch at Gohan but his attack did little to affect him. With Gohan still looking down at him, Superboy delivered a volley of powerful punches but each of the blows are only doing minimal effects on Gohan. However as Superboy was punching Gohan, he was starting to get angrier. Gohan isn't aware that he was getting angrier by the minute so he continued to talk down at him.
Gohan: Your outmatched. With what little you have now, what are you going to do?
Superboy Prime: What am I going to do!?!?!?
Those words Gohan said was enough to make Superboy Prime push beyond his limits.
Superboy Prime: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU...
With his last punch actually causing Gohan to feel something, Superboy readied his right arm.
Superboy Prime: TO DEATH!!!!!!!!!!
He delivered the punch to Gohan's face and the force of it caused Gohan to fly to the other side of the universe opposite to where they were just fighting. At this point their rage had risen to unbelievable heights and are ready for the final showdown. They both are now flying towards each other from different corners of the universe to deliver a powerful strike. When their punches collied it caused the reality around them to warp and distort. Next thing these 2 know is that they are now fighting in a different dimension. A dimension that is recognizable to some people.
Gohan and Superboy were now flying over what appears to be a mountain. Alongside those mountains appeared to have 4 titans of different natures with an angry white guy yelling from the green titan. They have been transported to the world of God Of War. Though this didn't seem to matter to them as if they can still punch each other, then they'll do it.
The 2 continue their fight with Superboy throwing Gohan through Mount Olympus with him following through. The 2 met punches again which caused reality to fling them into another dimension with them both now being transported to Hyrule from the Legend of Zelda series. Superboy throws a punch but Gohan intercepts it kicks him in the face. This did little to affect Superboy so he launched a headbutt with Gohan matching him. Gohan was able to get the upper hand and launches a downward elbow shot that sent shattered reality again.
They were now transported to the Boiling Isles from the Owl House with Superboy Prime crashing through the entire island causing massive damage throughout it's entirety. Gohan followed through with Superboy catching him in mid flight. He then grabbed Gohan by the legs and threw him into the ground that shattered reality again. Gohan now woke up in the middle of the Netherealm from Mortal Kombat with Superboy flying towards him. Gohan does a flip kick to change Superboy's trajectory but they still managed to match fists mere moments after.
As the battle went on the 2 grew so strong that a mere attack from either of them would send the other to an alternate dimension. An upwards strike landed them in the Hidden Leaf Village from Naruto, a kick sent them to Overwatch, a headbutt landed them in the Sonic universe, a karate chop landed them to San Andres from Grand Theft Auto, a Kamehameha that sent them to he world of Evangelion, an Infinite Mass Punch that sent them to the Hero Factory universe and this would continue for many, MANY attacks.
Eventually the 2 managed to meet each other in a gap outside of the multiverse and prepared to give it their all. Gohan channeled all of his Ki energy into his 2 index finger that he held up to his head while Superboy Prime was gathering the Solar Energy that his suit was providing him and unleash it out his eyes. The 2 were ready to unleash their attacks and when the time was right, they unleashed their attacks.
Gohan: SPECIAL BEAM CANNOOOOOOOOON!!!!!
Superboy Prime: THIS IS THE END OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 2 attacks collided and the area around them was getting out of hands. Ripples of distortion was radiating throughout the Multiverse with the other trying desperately overpower the other. Gohan then gave a battle cry, feeling everybody who has supported him behind him and suddenly a burst of power was able to give Gohan the need to overpower Superboy Prime's Heat Vision.
The Special Beam Cannon pierced Superboy Prime's suit and made a hole in his stomach. In doing so the cracks in the Multiverse grew only larger and a massive explosion sent them both into another universe. Gohan was nearly powerless with him barely being able to stand up. He looked down at a sight of his winning, but as he did he saw a shadow and blood dripping below him. He looked up and he could see Superboy Prime looking down at him with his eyes bursting with rage and red.
Superboy Prime: Did you forget what I said I would do to you?
Gohan tried desperately to fight back but he was all out of power. This didn't matter to Superboy and he threw a multitude of punches that had some effect on Gohan's history.
Superboy Prime: I...
When Superboy punched Gohan, it caused history to alter. We cut to the past to when Gohan attacked Raditz in a fit of rage. Instead of landing that headbutt, Raditz dodged the attack and launched a Ki Blast that vaporized Kid Gohan.
Superboy Prime: WILL...
Superboy threw another punch at Gohan, this time in relation to when he fought Cell in a Kamehameha clash. Instead of overpowering Cell, this time the other happened and Gohan got overpowered and vaporized by Cell.
Superboy Prime: KILL...
Another punch by Superboy caused another distortion to happen to Gohan. This time is when he fought Majin Buu for the first time. Instead of barely living his attacks, he got turned into candy and eaten by Majin Buu.
Superboy Prime: YOU...
This punch now caused the history of Gohan's fight with Cell Max to change. Instead of overpowering Cell Max, he was the one who got overpowered and the entire Earth got destroyed. Gohan barely able to stay conscious held up his hand in an attempt to quite possibly, maybe live the next attack. But Superboy Prime put everything he had into the last punch.
Superboy Prime: TO DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!
With the last punch caused another effect. This time between Gohan and Superboy Prime's beam struggle. Instead of overpowering the Heat Vision, the Special Beam Cannon gave way and Gohan was hit with the full force of Superboy Prime's heat vision. With his death caused the Gohan of the present to start to fade away from reality while feeling a pain he had never experienced before.
As Gohan faded away from reality, Superboy Prime looked up into the sky with ripples of the Multiverse appearing left and right. Though it didn't matter to him because for all he knew, he had won.

Announcer: KO!!!
Boomstick: Uh Wiz... do we have any insurance on Multiversal colateral damage?
Wiz: No Boomstick. No we do not.
Boomstick: Oh. Well those universes are f*cked.
Wiz: Uhhh... both Gohan and Superboy Prime were astronomically powerful in their own rights but only one of them had what it took to win.
Boomstick: Gohan did have a few advantages over Superboy Prime. He's been fighting for much longer and was trained by a lot more skilled teachers whereas Superboy hasn't really received the same amount of training he has. Plus rage aside, Gohan was a relatively good thinker and can strategize in the middle of combat.
Wiz: And considering the wide attacks Gohan was granted with his Ki it gave him more options for attack and defense.
Boomstick: But that's kind of all Gohan had going for him, because in every other way he got completely screwed over.
Wiz: While the variety of attacks Gohan inherited with his Ki does seem vast and plentiful, however the one thing about it that isn't vast and plentiful was how much he had at his disposal.
Boomstick: And the stronger the attacks is, the more energy is needed to fire it. Which isn't a problem in Superboy Prime's case for if he's ever low on juice he could just simply fly to a nearby star to energize himself. And considering that Superboy's suit constantly supplies him Solar Energy, he could have very easily outlasted Gohan until he gets tired.
Wiz: That's not all. Those very Ki attacks could also be Gohan's downfall. As Superboy Prime had absorbed power from multiple different sources, it is possible for him to benefits from all of Gohan's ranged options.
Boomstick: But all of that didn't matter as much of they didn't have the physical strengths and speed to back it up, and these 2 have performed many feats of power and speed. At best we can compare Gohan to the shockwaves produced by Goku and Beerus, which crossed all of Universe 7 in seconds.
Wiz: Based on the timeframe we can estimate that the speed of the shockwaves must have traveled over 400 Quadrillion times faster than light. However Superboy Prime himself was quick enough to outspend multiple members of the Flash including Wally West, who was fast enough to across the DC universe at speeds impossible to calculate, even quicker than instant teleportation. Even using calculable speeds in this instance, this would mean that Wally West at his slowest would have had to be moving over 3 Vigintillion times faster than light.
Popup: It is possible for Gohan to scale to the explosions created by Toppo, who could change the entirety of the World of Void in a short timeframe. However Superboy Prime is on par with characters like Pre Crisis Superman, Bart Allen and The Darkest Knight, who all can travel through time with just their speeds alone.
Boomstick: That's 63 zeros long and over 7 Quatttuor Decillion times faster than the Universe 7 shockwave. With speeds like that, he can literally fly circles around him and Gohan wouldn't even notice.
Wiz: And now let's compare their power outputs. Both have taken on foes who could destroy their respective universes. Comparing their sizes to each other would mean that Superboy Prime could destroy a universe over 760 Million times greater than Universe 7.
Boomstick: Sure but scaling to others they could have easily be much stronger than that. So what is their potential limit?
Wiz: Let's find out. While the extent of Beast Gohan is very debatable, we do know he could be comparable to Goku in Ultra Instinct along with Gogeta and Jiren. The same Jiren who shook all of the World of Void without putting in any effort. A realm that at most could be infinite in size and volume.
Boomstick: Sure but that's just a mistranslation in English, with the original saying it has only been around eternally. However even if we assumed that the void is infinite in size it wouldn't change the outcome. Because remember when Superboy Prime defeated The Darkest Knight? The same dude with Doctor Manhattan's powers.
Wiz: The same Doctor Manhattan that could rewrite the all of DC's cosmology. And the Darkest Knight has even used those powers to kill Perpetua, who held up all of creation in the palm of her hand.
Popup: While Perpetua exists in the 6th Dimension, it doesn't mean she lives in a 6th Dimensional structure. Her ability to destroy the DC Omniverse would grant her far greater levels of power due to even the Orrery of Worlds containing Dimensional Space beyond the 6th Dimension.
Boomstick: And considering DC's cosmological size, Superboy Prime could have very easily overpowered Gohan, even at his strongest. Even taking that feat out, he is still stronger than foes who could straight up threaten the Multiverse with their power such as the Anti Monitor. A level of power beyond that of Gohan and those he is on par with. Meaning no matter how you look at things, Superboy was just that much stronger.
Popup: It is also worth noting that every time Superboy Prime "dies", he gets transported back to his home Universe, even from events that fazes him out of reality like when he fought the Time Trapper. Making it questionable if Gohan could permanently kill him even if he were to get an opportunity.
Wiz: And really there was nothing Gohan could do to stop Superboy Prime's retcon punches. Something that could alternate reality along with the history of a person. Once Superboy landed that hit, it was basically game over.
Boomstick: DC logic people. Just go with it.
Wiz: Gohan was never gonna go down without a serious fight. But in the end he just couldn't keep up with Superboy Prime's strength, speed, energy absorption and raw retconning punches.
Boomstick: Go "Han" home Superboy, for that "Beastly" battle was surely "Primed. Wiz: The winner is Superboy Prime.
