Intro[]
(Cue Wiz and Boomstick)
Wiz: Earth is known to be a buffet for all sorts of alien invasions.
Boomstick: Luckily, humanity has a solution to combat with these invaders. Use giant, laser shooting robots!
Wiz: Like Gipsy Danger, the Mark-3 American Jaeger.
Boomstick: And Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots.
Wiz: I'm Wiz and he's Boomstick, and we are going to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win.
Boomstick: In a Death Battle!
Gypsy Danger[]
(Cue Pacific Rim Theme)
Wiz: The Jaeger Program was first founded by Dr. Lars Gottlieb after Jasper Schoenfeld proposed the idea for giant mechs at the 2014 conference in Seoul, South Korea followed by the fourth Kaiju attack on Sydney, Australia in September. Before the conference, Schoenfeld tried to find a more efficient way of killing Kaijus rather than over use the destructive power of nuclear weapons. At home, after witnessing his son play with a toy robot and a toy monster, he came up with the idea of giant robotic mechs, called Jaegers, which would be built specifically to kill these Kaiju. Dr. Jasper Schoenfeld's idea was eventually approved by the United Nations and they soon began getting to work.
Boomstick: They constructed many jaegars with each one being unique and different, but the best one was Gipsy Danger.
Wiz: Gipsy Danger was built on Kodiak Island at the Jaeger Academy’s Jaeger testing facility. Launched on July 10, 2017, Gipsy Danger was stationed at the Anchorage Shatterdome to defend the coastline of Alaska. Piloted by brothers, Yancy and Raleigh Beckett, the Mark-3 Jaeger was known for killing four Kaijus in the span of four years.
Boomstick: However, once Gipsy Danger was deployed into the Gulf of Alaska to fight the Kaiju named Knifehead. During the intense fight, the kaiju overpowered Gipsy Danger and tore half of its head off, killing Yancy Beckett in the process. This wasn't the end of Gipsy Danger as Raleigh later returned with a new pilot, Mako Mori for Gipsy Danger.
Wiz: The two had some difficulties at first, but they were able to overcome their problems and became great at teamwork. After a battle in Hong Kong, the Jaegers, Gipsy Danger and Striker Eureka were transported to the Marianas Trench to assault the Breach, which is where the kaiju originate from. The two Jaegers are cut off by the arrival of three Kaiju.
Boomstick: Gipsy survived the encounter and sacrificed itself by descending down the center of the Breach and self destructing, destroying the Kaiju creation facility and collapsing the Breach.
Wiz: Gipsy Danger stands 288 feet (79.2 meters) and weighs 7,080 tons. It carries a I-19 Plasmacaster in both arms, a particle dispersal cannon that fires plasma via a charged carrier rail, which wounds and cauterizes Kaiju anatomy, and can prevent the spread of a kaiju liquid called Kaiju Blue.
Boomstick: It has two retractable steel-obsidian alloy GD6 Chain Swords in its arms. The Chain Swords can either be used as blades or extend into whips.
Wiz: Gipsy's Nuclear Vortex Turbine maintains the jaeger's health checks and returns radio chemical readings in excess of safety parameters. The turbine can also fire a heat blast powerful enough to create a hole right through a kaiju. Equalizing the Jaeger's movement are 10KT/Gyro-Stabilizers, which give it smooth bipedal motion and stabilize aggressor feud. Gipsy Danger also features two rear jets which can increase the speed of its forward movement for a limited amount of time. They can also be used to allow the Jaeger to leap high into the air and then punch a Kaiju as it falls back down.
Boomstick: In addition, Gipsy Danger is able to dump some of its coolant as an improvised weapon and possesses a rocket in its right elbow and left elbow for a super power punch! Oh, and it has a self destruct system just in case.
Wiz: Gipsy Danger has killed 9 kaiju thanks to the teamwork of the pilots, lifted and used a 100,000 ton cargo ship as a sword, and was fine falling from 50,000 feet from the sky. Though it is noted that they were using the mech's boosters to slow down.
Boomstick: The mech was durable enough to survive a nuke and Striker Eureka's reactor destruction in the ocean with no visible damage despite already missing an arm, then surviving the ocean fall on it right after.
Wiz: The mech has its flaws: If the pilots are taken out the mech will malfunction and it can be pierced with enough force as shown by Knifehead. However, the biggest one is that both pilots experience what scientists named the Drift, allowing both pilots to see into each other's memories, and basically becoming one with their jaeger. Like literally becoming the jaeger.
Boomstick: This is a huge weakness because now the pilots can feel the pain and damage of their jaeger.
Wiz: But that won't stop Gipsy Danger from...
Boomstick: Kicking Kaiju ass!
Optimus Prime[]
(cue Arrival to Earth)
Wiz: Long ago on the robotic planet named Cybertron, a mere civilian dock-worker named Orion Pax was destroyed by Megatron during a massive war. Later, Alpha Trion rebuilt him into a more powerful warrior. He was then chosen by the Matrix of Leadership to become a Prime. He is now known as Optimus Prime!
Boomstick: Wait you said the Matrix? Like Neo and Agent Smith?
Wiz: Wrong Matrix Boomstick. Anyway, four million years ago, Optimus Prime ended a Decepticon attack on the Autobot ship called the Ark by directing it towards prehistoric Earth. The crash knocked both factions unconsious until they were both reawakened in 1984. Optimus Prime and the Autobots began fighting the Decepticons on numerous occasions even bringing in humans to aid them.
Boomstick: Optimus never succumbs to despair, he has a strong sense of justice and righteousness and has dedicated himself to the protection of all sentient life, even to the point of sacrifcing himself for others. He was a decisive, charismatic leader, and that is why the Autobots follow him. It was his great leadership that turned the tide of the Great War. Even the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron admits his respect for Optimus Prime.
Wiz: Like all Transformers, Optimus has a vehicle mode. He can transform into a blue and red 1979 Kenworth K100. This vehicle allows him to drive great distances at 80 miles per hour with a horse power of 500.
Boomstick: Or he can just turn his opponents into roadkill. He also has a trailer that can straight up vanish out of thin air!
Wiz: On the battlefield there are few that can even stand a chance against Optimus. Thanks to the Matrix of Leadership, Optimus gains increase speed, durability, and strength. He stands at 9 feet tall, weighs 4.3 tons, and is suprisingly 9 million years old.
Boosmtick: He carries an Ion Blaster that he wields one handed or with both hands, this is strong enough to mow down groups of Decepticons with ease and barely runs out of ammo. He can also fire missles. Optimus' hands can retract to become an Energon axe or Energon swords, which are used whenever Optimus wants to chop is opponents apart into pieces. He could even charge them up to deal greater blows.
Wiz: Energon is the is the preferred fuel of the Cybertronian race. It can take the forms of an ore, gas, liquid, raw energy, or a cube. It can be used for many purposes, but it's mostly used to power weapons like Optimus' Energon Axe.
Boomstick: Optimus can fly using his feet boosters or jetpack, fire lasers out of his hands Iron Man style, and has been shown being able to detach his limbs and move them around. However, he doesn't really use these abilities that often. Speaking of Iron Man, like Tony Stark, Optimus can fire a super powerful uni-beam from his chest that can wipe his enemies out in seconds.
Wiz: This beam comes from Optimus Prime's spark combined with the Matrix. It is usually used as a last resort and is extremely powerful. The Matrix can also heal and repair Optimus Prime's injuries.
Boomstick: Optimus has incredble strength. He is capable of punching the ground so hard that trees fly out of the ground and explode! When he was fighting against the Decepticon named Sixshot, Optimus damaged his armor with a punch. This armor is stated to be composed of materials drawn from freaking Super Novas!
Wiz: He's also strong enough to easily lift a 700,000 ton oil tanker and even lift the 81,000 ton Washington Monument.
Boomstick: He has shot a ship in outer space from ground level, survived a wormhole collapsing on him, fast enough to dodge shots from the Fusion Cannon, and has defeated many powerful Decepticons and beings.
Wiz: Optimus has defeated combiners like Devastator or Monstructor who have been depicted to be building size, Megatron who has way more fighting experience and can tap into the power of a black hole, the freaking Elder God Cthulhu, the planet eating and embodiment of chaos Unicron, and etc.
Boomstick: Optimus Prime really doesn't mess around.
Wiz: Oh, and he killed a reality warper with his bare hands.
Boomstick: It is strange though. Optimus has done all of these impressive feats yet he dies in almost every Transformer media! He's died 26 times! 26 times!
Wiz: Calm down Boomstick, even if he dies he will always get revived sooner or later.
Boomstick: True, but man, Optimus would be one cool robot bro. Robro?
Optimus: "One shall stand, one shall fall."
Intermission[]
Wiz: These two robots are ready to fight!
Boomstick: It's time for a Death Battle!
DEATH BATTLE![]
Two giant airships fly high above the ocean's blue water. Below the airships is Gipsy Danger who is being carried by some strong cable wires. Gipsy Danger's pilots, Raleigh Beckett and Mako Mori were ordered to go and investigate a strange alien energy that is originating from a nearby city. The two pilots strap into the cockpit of the Jaeger and prepare for dropping. The airships detach their cables and Gipsy Danger falls down into the water.
Gipsy Danger's activates, its turbine begins to spin and glows orange and yellow. The Jaegar flexes its fingers and slowly walks towards the city.
Raleigh: You ready?
Mako: Ready!
Raleigh: Alright, lets get to work...
Gipsy Danger punches its fists together. In the city, a strange glowing portal opens up, and Optimus Prime flies out onto a parking lot. Optimus looks around and notices the portal closes.
Optimus Prime: Megatron, what have you done...
Optimus wanders around as civilians panic and run away to the city's bunkers. Optimus Prime is confused until he hears several loud footsteps walking behind him. He turns around and stares at the 288 ft tall Jaeger, Gipsy Danger.
Optimus Prime: A Combiner?
Mako: That thing has strange energy flowing all over it. Similar energy to the Kaiju we face.
Raleigh: Well, we have our orders. Lets take it down!
FIGHT![]
Raleigh activates the particle dispersal cannon in Gipsy Danger's left hand. Optimus sees the hand transform and aim right at him. Optimus, using his feet boosters dodges the blast. The blast connects with the ground creating a small blue explosion.
Optimus Prime: One shall stand, one shall fall!
Optimus retrieves his Ion Blaster and auto fires at Gipsy, tearing off some pieces from it. The pilots inside are in little pain.
Mako: I feel like I'm getting stinged!
Gispy Danger fires several more blasts but keeps missing. Meanwhile, Optimus shoots and flies circles around Gipsy. The pilots are able to lock onto Optimus and rotate, slapping Optimus Prime through a building. They then start blasting the building with their cannons, crumbling it to the ground. Thinking they have won, Gipsy deactivates its particle dispersal cannon until it is hit multiple times in the head by missles.
Optimus Prime: I won't be defeated so easily.
Optimus climbs out of the rubble. However, during the collapse of the building, Optimus had lost his Ion Blaster. Instead, his left hand retracts into an energon axe and his right hand retracts into an energon sword. Optimus jumps onto of a small apartment building before using his jet boosters to fly up on top of another building.
Gipsy Danger's head has some sparks fly out of it, but it is not completely wrecked to the point of malfunctioning. It scans its surroundings and locates Optimus Prime as he leaps onto its head. Gipsy stumbles around slamming into buildings while Optimus hacks and slashes at it. He drops from the head to the back, continuing his attacks.
Raleigh: We have to get it off!
Mako: Hurry, slam Gipsy's back into a building!
Gipsy walks backwards into a building. The crash knocks Optimus off, while Gipsy loses its balance and falls to the ground. Gipsy raises one of its arms and slams the ground using the rockets in its elbow, this creates a shockwave that sends Optimus several feet back. Optimus then stakes his melee weapons into the ground to stop himself. Gipsy gets up onto its feet as rubble falls off from it. Its arms transforms into swords.
Gipsy slashes at Optimus who dodges the attacks by switching from his truck mode to his robot mode. Optimus then jumps forwards and rolls out of a foot stomp from Gipsy.
Mako: Its too fast!
Raleigh: Its fast alright, but bigger is better.
Optimus stabs Gipsy's ankles and tears out a bunch of pieces. Inside the head, the pilots are getting red warning signs. Gipsy falls onto its knees before retracting the swords for its particle dispersal cannons. Gipsy fires a barrage of blasts at Optimus. The explosions badly damage the Autobot so he makes a tactical retreat to heal his wounds. Meanwhile, Gipsy stumbles around due to the damage in its feet.
Optimus fully repairs himself thanks to the Matrix and is in his truck mode as a disguise. Gipsy Danger wanders around until it comes across a group of vehicles.
Raleigh: Wait a second...
Gipsy changes its gaze towards a red and blue truck.
Raleigh: Hey Mako, doesn't that truck look a lot like the robot we face?
Mako: Now that you say it, it does look a lot like it...
In his truck mode, Optimus drives towards Gipsy. The pilots hesitate for several seconds until the truck transforms into Optimus. He upper cuts Gipsy in the head, only to also be upper cutted into the sky by Gipsy's rocket elbow punch. As Optimus falls back down towards the city, he manuvers around some of Gipsy's cannon blasts.
Optimus: I'm taking you down Combiner!
In the air, Optimus' chest opens up and he shoots his uni-beam. To counter it Gipsy fires its heat blast from the turbine. The two blasts collide with each other.
Raleigh: Hold it, Hold it!
Mako: I'm trying!
Optimus: For the freedom of all sentient beings!
Optimus' uni-beam overpowers the turbine blast and hits the chest of Gipsy. It goes right through it, blowing the Jaeger's chest up and malfunctioning it. The pilots cry out in pain as Optimus aims the beam upwards at the head, vaporizing the pilots and causing Gipsy's head to combust and explode.
Gipsy Danger twitches a little before crashing onto its back and causing a little shake in the city. Gipsy Danger was dead. Optimus lands on top of it and does a heroic pose. However, he hears strange animal like sounds erupting beneath him. A couple yards in front of Optimus, some large Kaiju come crawling out of the ground. Optimus takes out his energon axe and sword, and leaps at the Kaiju.

Boomstick: Now I know what you must be thinking, how in the world does a 288ft tall, mech fighting Kaiju lose to a 9ft robot that turns into a truck? Wiz!
Wiz: While Gipsy Danger definitely has the size advantage, in the end the Jaeger would still lose. Optimus Prime is overall a lot more powerful. For his smaller size he has lifted a 700,000 ton oil tanker, damaged Sixshot's armor which were made out of materials drawn from collapse stars also known as Super Novas with his punches, and his gun was capable of damaging a space ship in outer space from ground level! Soooo, he should be able to knock Gipsy around.
Boomstick: Thanks to him for having a smaller size, his truck mode, and feet boosters. Optimus Prime is a lot faster and has more mobility.
Wiz: Gipsy's size is also a weakness since they feel the pain of their Jaeger, Optimus should be able to do lots of damage and cause harm to the pilots without even touching them. Remember, the Jaeger will malfunction if the pilots are taken out. Optimus has also fought against way more deadlier opponents than the kaiju, such as Unicron, Cthulhu, Megatron who is strong enough to tap into the power of a black hole, and Combiners who have been depicted to be building sized.
Boomstick: Those feats combined with his millions of years of experience in combat and war, and you got yourself a winner.
Wiz: The winner is Optimus Prime!
