Introduction[]
Wiz: Evil can take many forms, such as those who wish for nothing but senseless destruction but there are also those who want a better world through blood-soaked means, even killing the very Gods of their worlds.'
Boomstick: But just because they want something good, doesn't mean they'll ever get it, like Gemini Saga, the murderous Gemini Gold Saint...
Wiz: And Sosuke Aizen, the traitorous captain of the Gotei 13.
Boomstick: He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Gemini Saga[]
Wiz: Legends, ancient myths pertaining to the existence of Gods, monsters and even Heaven and Hell itself. All of these exist...
Boomstick: And they're fucking terrifying, where are all the heroes that are supposed to protect me?
Wiz: Thankfully for all of us, the Goddess Athena took pity on humanity and decided to protect them, granting status to those one with the cosmos to serve as her Saints, wearing their armoured cloths as they fight to protect everyone.
Boomstick: Man, what a nice system. I'm sure this won't go wrong.
Wiz: However...
Boomstick: There it is.
Wiz: There was a traitor in the rank of Athena's strongest Saints, someone who thought that they could rule the world and protect it from all Gods better than Athena ever could. The chosen Gemini Saint, Saga.
Background:

Boomstick: Saga's birth is... weird. The second he and his twin brother Kanon were born, they were instantly teleported to Athena's Sanctuary and told they'd be destined for greatness, all before they even saw the hospital room.
Wiz: Questionable births aside and abduction aside, Saga quickly became one of Athena's greatest Saints and the first of his generation to become a mythical Gold Saint.
Boomstick: Things were good, too good. Almost like an evil being was pulling strings behind the scenes.
Wiz: Well, you'd be right for thinking so. See, at his birth, the Goddess of Fate, Ker, implanted an evil spirit known as Lemure in Saga's soul, this spirit would lay dormant for most of Saga's life, until his brother Kanon tried to take over Sanctuary and Saga had to lock him away.
Boomstick: And things went from bad to worse in a snap, Lemure became Saga's evil split personality and started to take over his body.
Wiz: While Lemure was evil, due to being in Saga's body, it inherited a small amount of his good personality. Rather than being a pawn for the Goddess, the evil half of Saga's personality would swear to fight against all Gods that would try and conquer the Earth for the sake of all humanity.
Boomstick: Awesome!
Wiz: But that would require taking over Sanctuary, leading Saga to kill the Pope and kill the newly resurrected baby Athena.
Boomstick: Less awesome. Man, he went from zero to baby stabbing in five minutes, at least wait a decade man, come on.
Wiz: While he failed, Saga was able to successfully trick everyone by disguising himself as the Pope and had his Gold Cloth act in his place on its own.
Gemini Gold Cloth:
- Protective armour
- Boosts Saga's abilities
- Can be controlled separately
- Can be called to his side in an instant
- Bathed in Athena's Ichor for additional protection
Boomstick: His Gemini Gold Cloth is a set of gold coloured armour that only Saga is allowed to wear. Sure, it might look like a weird statue when he's not wearing but it turns into cool armour when he needs it to.
Wiz: Saga doesn't simply put on the Cloth, but instead his own will calls to it when needed, causing it to fly to his location from miles away and wrap itself around him without him needing to even lift a finger.
Boomstick: It protects him from sub-zero temperatures, bolts of lightning, and possession. Oh man, he could have used that when he was born.
Wiz: That's not all, since the Gold Cloth was bathed in Athena's divine blood-
Boomstick: Gross.
Wiz: It grants it a vast amount of protection from intense reality warping from the Hyperdimension which instantly erases lesser beings and is durable enough to tank an attack with the force of the Big Bang without as much as a scratch.
Boomstick: So, it's fairly useful.
Cosmo:
- Cosmic energy that exists in everything in the universe
- Destroys matter on an atomic level
- Can harm intangible spirits
- Nullifies attacks that a user has already been hit with
- Unlocked with the 6th Sense: Intuition
- Has additional the 7th Sense: Miraculosity and 8th Sense: Arayashiki
Wiz: On top of that, Saga is able to freely manipulate and generate Cosmo, cosmic energy that makes up everything in the universe that came into being from the Big Bang. Most people are unable to use Cosmo but those with a Sixth Sense can tap into it.
Boomstick: Cosmo might just seem like your average Shonen stand-in for Ki but Cosmo does a bunch more.
Wiz: Rather than destroying something physically like most forms of attacks in fiction, Cosmo instead breaks down its target on the atomic scale, not even leaving the slightest shred of it being there. In addition, it can harm spiritual entities such as ghosts and also automatically protects its user from any form of technique they've previously been hit with, even if the attack is mental or far stronger than when the technique first hit them.
Boomstick: Oh, but if you thought that was busted already, wait until you see the power creep. You'd think Six Senses were enough for these people, Hell I barely have Three Sense most of the time, but they went on to get two more on top of that. I can barely find where my keys are and he can telepathically search the entire planet for whatever he wants.
Wiz: The Seventh Sense is Miraculosity, it's the bare minimum a Saint needs in order to become a Gold Saint. At this level of strength and cosmic awareness, the user's willpower becomes so powerful that it physically forces their user to become so much stronger than they ever were before, allowing them the power to destroy planets and move faster than light.
Boomstick: And that's the more tame sense. The Eighth Sense: Arayashiki is basically "fuck you, I do what I want" powers. They let you completely ignore all of the laws of the universe, no matter how bad they are.
Wiz: This was crucial for the Bronze Saints to exist in the underworld just fine, ignoring all of the laws of the universe that dictate that living creatures will instantly be killed upon entry. It also gives him a healing factor so good that it lets him recover from being reduced to dust.

Boomstick: And if that wasn't OP enough, Saga's got a ton of powerful Cosmo skills that are all instant death to anyone unlucky enough to fight him. His Another Dimension skill has him tear open space and throw you into an empty universe to rot away for the rest of your life and his Demon Emperor Fist shoots a beam of light that hypnotises anyone he's fighting.
Wiz: Saga also has intense illusionary powers such as his Labyrinth of Twins which traps someone in a loop labyrinth with the only true method of escaping being to hit Saga, even if he's miles away.
Boomstick: Also, he can just turn off all of your senses with a point of his fingers, because Saga needed more fight enders.
Wiz: Many of Saga's skills are less purely destructive and more for manipulation and discarding an opponent without anyone
Boomstick: But sometimes you just decided "screw being sneaky, I want to blow everything up right now" and that's where Saga's strongest attack comes in, the Galaxian Explosion.
Wiz: This pure blast of Cosmo sends out multiple exploding planets at the opponent, each of which rams into everything in front of Saga with enough force to destroy an entire galaxy.
Boomstick: And it might just be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

- Nearly killed Phoenix Ikki and Pegasus Seiya
- Destroyed Virgo Shaka's illusions
- Destroyed the Wailing Wall with Gold Saints
Wiz: As you can imagine from all of this, Gemini Saga is absurdly overpowered and has the accomplishments to match his prowess.
Boomstick: Even ignoring the whole destroying galaxies and moving faster than light, Saga, being one of the best Saints in Athena's army, is far stronger than no name Saints that almost destroyed the Earth but the real deals are the other Gold Saints like Capricorn Shura, Ares Mu and Virgo Shake-a.
Wiz: Virgo Shaka managed to hold his own in an intense battle against a previous Virgo Gold Saint, Virgo Shijima.
Boomstick: Intense is right, the two of them were literally throwing and destroying countless universes. And characters like Ares Mu and Shion are able to casually create an entire universe with Starlight Extinction before blowing it up.
Wiz: With the power of miracles, Capricorn Shura was able to move so fast that he was directly stated to move faster than the initial expansion of the Big Bang. Even without any miracles, Pegasus Seiya was able to traverse the Hyperdimension, which consists of billions of galaxies, in just a few minutes. To do so, Seiya had to be moving at over twenty-seven sextillions times the speed of light.
Weaknesses:

- Gemini Gold Cloth can reject him
Boomstick: So if you couldn't tell, Saga's a little overpowered.
Wiz: But that doesn't mean he's perfect. While Saga does have control over the Gemini Gold Cloth, it can reject him and even work against him, a similar thing happened to Cancer Deathmask whose Cancer Gold Cloth left him because of his evil nature.
Boomstick: Right as the blows came raining down on him. Saga's good personality and evil personality's good-ish intentions keep his Cloth with him but he could always go off the bad end and lose it all.
Wiz: And he almost did, after almost assassinating a teenage Athena, Saga tried to turn all of Sanctuary against her and her loyal Bronze Saints but in the end, their loyalty to Athena allowed them to fight all the way up to Saga, allowing them to use Athena's shield to both save her life and free Saga of his evil personality.
Boomstick: And Saga took responsibility the only way an 80's Shonen villain knows how, by stabbing himself through the chest with his fist.
Wiz: Eh, he came back.
Boomstick: He might have been a manipulative son of a bitch, but good or evil, Saga is one of the deadliest humans of all time.
Sosuke Aizen[]
Wiz: Have you ever felt like the world was, imperfect? That out there, there was a creator deity who was just a failure at their job?
Boomstick: Hey, that's what you said about me when we first met.
Wiz: Uhh, right.
Boomstick: Many people think that, and I don't blame them, makes you want to go up there and fuck them up.
Wiz: And, Sosuke Aizen, captain of the Gotei 13's Fifth Division, is someone who holds such a wish.
Background:
- Name: Sosuke Aizen
- Age: Over 110
- (Former) Captain of the 5th Division
- Has plans upon plans upon plans
Boomstick: Nothing's really known about his past, whether he kept it hidden so no one knew what he was planning or he had a really boring childhood is up to you.
Wiz: Who Aizen was may be a mystery but what he is is known, he's a Shinigami or Soul Reaper, a ghostly being who has died and is tasked with taking other spirits to the world of the dead, better known as Soul Society while killing evil dead spirits known as Hollows.
Boomstick: But Aizen wasn't your average samurai reaper, he was one of their best, one of the captains of the Gotei 13.
Wiz: Not just a mere captain, but besides Captain-Commander Yamamoto, Aizen is the strongest Shinigami alive and can use their natural abilities better than anyone.
Shinigami Abilities:
- Invisibility
- Flight
- Shupo
- Reishi Manipulation
- Kidō
Boomstick: Since he's a spooky ghost, normal people can't see him unless they can normally see ghosts, he can also fly and do that cool thing anime characters do where they teleport behind you.
Wiz: That's Shupo, or Flash Step, a Shinigami technique that allows for short ranged teleportation to get behind an opponent to strike them where their guard is down.
Boomstick: Neat.
Wiz: Beyond that, Aizen is able to manipulate Reishi, the spiritual energy that makes up every spiritual being, from Hollows to Aizen himself. Manipulating this energy allows Aizen to use special spells known as Kidō.
Boomstick: So not only is he a samurai grim reaper, but he's also a wizard?
Wiz: Yes.
Kidō:
- Millón Escudo
- Bakudō
- Bakudō #26: Kyokkō
- Bakudō #81: Dankū
- Hadō
- Hadō #63: Raikōhō
- Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi
- Hadō #99: Goryūtenmetsu
Wiz: Kidō can be broken into three groups and Aizen specialises in Bakudō, Kidō that focuses on protecting its user, and Hadō, which are immensely destructive spells. With his Millón Escudo, Aizen can create dense forcefields of Reishi anywhere on his body, perfect for avoiding sneak attacks whereas Bakudō #81: Dankū protects his entire body by nullifying attacks.
Boomstick: And the sneaky bastard can sneak around Kyokkō by bending light around him which also hides his energy. But enough about sneaking, let's talk about those destructive Hadō.
Wiz: Hadō are special in the fact that they have chants before they are cast, these chants don't need to be said, allowing for a quick fire attack, however, completing the chant makes any Hadō three times stronger than they would be if released instantly.
Boomstick: From Shō which shoots energy from his fingers, to shooting lightning with Byakurai and Raikōhō, Aizen's a literal wizard with Reishi.
Wiz: But those are some of the more tame Hadō, Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi creates a gigantic black coffin which warps time and space inside of it, sort of like a black hole, tearing whatever's inside it to shreds. Even without chanting it, Aizen defeated fellow captain Komamura instantly, and when fully chanted, the Kurohitsugi becomes so powerful that it destroys its target on the atomic level.
Boomstick: And that's not even the strongest Hadō, that's the 99th one, Goryūtenmetsu.
Wiz: Goryūtenmetsu draws Reishi not just from Aizen, but from everything around him in order to shoot out giant dragons made Reishi that obliterates practically anything it comes in contact with.
Boomstick: Okay, I get this guy is smart but how did he trick everyone when he's throwing giant coffins and fucking dragons at people.
Wiz: That would be because of Aizen's sword, Kyōka Suigetsu.
Kyōka Suigetsu:
- Aizen's Zanpakutō
- Can cut souls and Hollows
- Shikai: Complete Hypnosis
- Creates illusions by manipulating senses
Wiz: While Kyōka Suigetsu may look like the average sword it's actually a special type of blade that all Shinigami wield known as a Zanpakutō.
Boomstick: And just like the scythe, it's used to cut souls down and send them to the next world.
Wiz: Each Zanpakutō is unique to its user, while weaker Shinigami can only use it as a typical sword, Aizen is anything but weak and can access Kyōka Suigetsu its second form known as its Shikai. Aside from becoming far stronger, Shikai will grant its Zanpakutō and its wielder a brand new, unique ability.
Boomstick: A new ability that Aizen would abuse the absolute shit out of, Complete Hypnosis.
Wiz: With Kyōka Suigetsu, Aizen can create vast and intricate illusions for his opponent with the activation trigger being when Aizen's victim has witnessed Kyōka Suigetsu in its Shikai form.
Boomstick: Kyōka Suigetsu doesn't just make visual illusions, Aizen has full control over all five senses of everyone under its effects. It's really busted since Aizen can basically make you think you've thought a long battle against him but instead, you've actually been fighting thin air or someone random nobody as Aizen watches like the smug asshole that he is.
Wiz: And once someone has fallen victim to Complete Hypnosis once, Aizen can manually activate it again whenever he wants, even if the last time he's used it against someone was over a hundred years ago like the Visoreds.
Boomstick: And since he could control what everyone at Soul Society sees and feels, he used his sword to fake his death, kill everyone in what is essentially the Bleach Supreme Court and trick everyone into following even more orders so he could kill the Soul Reaper Rukia.
Wiz: Why did Aizen do this, you may ask. It was to get his most prized possession, the one thing hidden away, far from his reach that would grant Aizen everything he ever desired, the Hōgyoku.
Hōgyoku:
- Special stone imbedded in Aizen's chest
- Grants high-speed regeneration and evolution
- Grants Four additional forms
- Ultrafragor
Boomstick: Created by Urahara and hidden inside Rukia's temporary body, the Hōgyoku is a little orb with a lot of potential.
Wiz: Urahara wanted to use the Hōgyoku to remove the boundaries of Hollows and Shinigami to further both and save as many souls of people and Shinigami that threatened to turn into Hollows, however, its powers are far greater than Urahara could have expected.
Boomstick: It was the tool that could make Aizen's wishes come true, literally. The Hōgyoku reads your deepest wishes and makes them real, which, if you're an absurdly strong wizard, samurai grim reaper with a God complex, might be an issue for the rest of us.
Wiz: After embedding the jewel in his chest, Aizen gained the Hōgyoku's favour to the point that even after removing it from Aizen's chest, it still protected and empowered him.
Boomstick: And boy did it make him stronger, anytime Aizen almost dies, the Hōgyoku makes him stronger with a new form.
Wiz: Starting as a chrysalis, Aizen mutated and transformed and kept transforming.
Boomstick: Like the fucked up butterfly he is. He evolved to get new abilities like a healing factor that healed back after his chest melted, also he can just shoot spiritual nukes called Fragor from his weird wing-head-mouths or shoot multiple of them to make an Ultrafragor.
Wiz: Aizen kept evolving until he achieved his true goal, becoming as strong as the almighty Soul King.
Feats:
- Manipulated Soul Societ for over 100 years
- Defeated most members of the Gotei 13 effortlessly
- Nearly killed Ichigo Kurosaki
- Manipulated almost every event in Bleach
- Managed to become as strong as the Soul King
Boomstick: The Soul King might look like an armless and legless corpse, but he's actually an all-powerful God, who is missing his arms and legs.
Wiz: That may sound unimpressive but even in this weakened, the Soul King's mere existence is able to hold all of existence together, including the realms of the human world, Soul Societ and Hueco Mundo.
Boomstick: Even without the Hōgyoku, Aizen was fast enough to fight Yhwach who fired a beam of darkness from the Reiokyu to the Seireitei in a few seconds.
Wiz: Meaning that this beam moved at over sixteen times the speed of light.
Boomstick: With all this power, Aizen was unstoppable, he was free to kill the useless Soul King and take his throne for himself.
Wiz: But it was never meant to last.
Weaknesses:
- Complete Hypnosis can be nullified if grabbed before usage
- Hōgyoku can reject him
Wiz: Aizen met his greatest fall, when he faced down Ichigo Kurosaki. While Aizen thought himself to be the strongest and having manipulated every part of Ichigo's path to power, from his meeting with Rukia all the way to his fight against Aizen's Espada, he was sure that Ichigo could never surpass him, however, he did.
Boomstick: And boy, did that throw a wrench into the "attack and dethrone God" plan.
Wiz: After Aizen was defeated, the Hōgyoku rejected him as its true master, viewing Aizen as imperfect and undesiring of its power. Now without the one thing that could save him or keep him from fighting, Aizen was locked away in the lowest depths of Soul Societ's prison for twenty thousand years, never to be seen again.
Boomstick: Eh, he came back.
Wiz: Despite it all, losing everything and being locked away, Aizen managed to come back as strong as ever, even locked away forever, even deprived of the most basics of freedom, Sosuke Aizen is one of the most dangerous Shinigami to ever exist.
Pre-Fight[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLEEEEE!!!
Fight[]
The scene opens with Aizen walking up the steps of Sanctuary, two temples already behind him, and a group of Athena's guards holding swords standing in front of him.
Athena's Guard: "Cease your assault at once, you won't reach the Pope!"
One of the guards yells out to Aizen.
Aizen casually continues to walk towards the group before disappearing in an instant, appearing behind them.
Aizen: "The weak have no right to command me."
Aizen said as he stared down one of the guards from behind.
Having heard Aizen's voice, the guard turned around and swung his sword at him, only for Aizen to catch it with the tips of his fingers before pinching it.
The guard grunted as he tried to pull his sword free, only to suddenly see large spurts of blood erupt from his fellow soldiers, all of them having been slashed by Aizen when he teleported behind them.
In the blink of an eye, Aizen swung Kyōka Suigetsu down at the remaining guard, cutting him in half before his sword and body hit the floor. Aizen turned away and continued up the steps.
Aizen: "On to the third temple then."
Aizen walked into the large Greek temple, past the large pillars and through the empty hall. The entire temple was silent besides Aizen's footsteps.
Aizen: That's interesting, there's no spiritual pressure coming from this room...
Aizen thought to himself as he continued.
Eventually, Aizen saw a small but wide pedestal that had a suit of golden armour standing on it, the person or thing wearing the armour was completely black. The man in the Gemini Gold Cloth started to walk towards Aizen, clearly ready to battle.
Aizen: "So you're this temple's guardian? You'll fall before the might of Kyōka Suigetsu."
Aizen said as he held up his Zanpakutō for the suit of armour to see.
Fight![]
Aizen flew straight towards the Gemini Gold Cloth before swinging Kyōka Suigetsu at his head, only for it to be blocked by the armour's forearm.
In less than a second, Aizen used Shupo to teleport behind him and slash the back of the armour with his Zanpakutō, however, it didn't even leave a scratch.
Aizen: "My, what annoying armour..."
Aizen said as the Gold Cloth turned to meet his gaze. It blasted him with a ball of Cosmo, launching Aizen back against the wall and leaving a tear in his robes across his chest.
Aizen: "Tch. Hadō #1: Shō!"
Aizen called out as he pointed his index finger at his opponent, a small invisible beam of Reishi fired from the tip of his finger straight towards the Gold Cloth, only to instantly bounce off and shoot back directly at Aizen, bashing him against the wall.
Aizen: "Ahh!"
Aizen groaned out in pain as the suit of golden armour walked towards him. It raised up both of its hands.
???: "Behold the infinite abyss! Another Dimension!"
A voice called out, causing a tear in space to appear behind the Gemini Gold Cloth which spread out across the room, catching Aizen and trying to suck him up.
Aizen tried to fly away, his speed preventing him from being sucked up, however, a blast of Cosmo to his back dropped him to the ground. He stabbed Kyōka Suigetsu into the ground to anchor himself but it wasn't enough as Aizen gets sucked into the tear, his body being hurtled into a separate realm entirely with his Zanpakutō being left embedded in the ground.
Once the tear in space closed and Aizen had completely disappeared, the Gold Cloth broke apart and reformed into a small golden statue. Seconds later, a new set of footsteps echoed out across the temple, a man, wearing a white cloak that covered his entire body and a set of red shoulder armour and helmet that covered his face, walked forward.
Pope: "The intruder has been dealt with."
The Pope said, examining both his spotless Gold Cloth and the limited amount of damage dealt to the temple with their only being a small crater where Aizen's body hit and the place where Aizen's Zanpakutō was stabbed into the ground. The katana caught the Pope's attention, causing him to walk towards it.
Pope: "What a curious sword..."
He continued to walk towards it before reaching out to it with his right hand.
The second one of the fingers of his extended hand touched Kyōka Suigetsu, it shattered like a panel of glass.
Pope: "What?!"
The Pope yelled out in confusion as the effects of Aizen's Complete Hypnosis broke away. Aizen was revealed to be both unharmed and standing directly behind the Pope with his real sword fully drawn and ready to stab the Pope in the back.
In an instant, the Pope felt the blade of Kyōka Suigetsu impale through his torso and out the other side, causing blood to spurt out.
Aizen: "You failed to prepare for Kyōka Suigetsu's Shikai. When I couldn't sense your spiritual pressure in this room, I knew that if I faked this entire fight and my defeat, you'd reveal yourself and come to pick up my sword like the vulture you are."
Aizen said as he thrust Kyōka Suigetsu further into the Pope's back.
The Pope responded by pressing his hand against Aizen's chest and firing a ball of Cosmo at him. Seeing the blast coming and pulled his sword free and dodged out of the way of the energy ball.
Now that the was some distance between the Aizen and the Pope, he called out to his Gemini Gold Cloth.
Pope: "Come to me, my Gold Cloth."
The Gold Cloth broke into pieces from its statue-like state before the pieces all flew to the Pope, the pieces fitting around him and pushing the shoulder armour and helmet were pushed aside, revealing his identity as the Gemini Gold Saint, Saga.
Aizen: "So your true colours have been revealed..."
Aizen said as he flew towards Saga.
Saga: "Come on!"
Saga yelled back as Aizen approached.
Saga went to punch Aizen in the face, however, just before his fist connected, Aizen used Shupo to teleport behind him and swung his sword at his back. Before the sword could connect, Saga caught the blade with his armoured gauntlet.
Saga: "Fool! A Saint would never fall for the same attack twice!"
Saga said before he pulled Aizen closer by the blade and forced a ball of Cosmo against his chest, blasting a hole clean through both his robes and chest.
In the vacant hole in Aizen's chest, there was a glowing purple jewel, the Hōgyoku, just floating in the middle with nothing supporting it or keeping it in the air.
Aizen: "A mere fatal injury could never kill someone as grand as I."
Aizen said as the wound started to close up and a white liquid poured out of the jewel and spread across his body.
Aizen: "Allow me to show you a world beyond your meagre understanding of reason."
Aizen said before his face was fully enveloped, changing him into his chrysalis form.
Saga pointed his hand forward with a thin beam of Cosmo shooting out, aimed at Aizen's head.
Saga: "Demon Emperor Fist!"
Aizen managed to dodge before rushing over and kicking Saga's hand aside before pressing the side of his hand against Saga's chest.
Aizen: "Hadō #63: Raikōhō."
The side of Aizen's hand began to spark with electricity as he chopped into Gemini Gold Cloths' chest plate, the force of the attack pushed Saga back.
Saga managed to keep his balance as energy started to charge around him.
Saga: "Burn my Cosmo! Ha!"
Saga began to power up before punching forward, his fist unleashing a gold stream of pure Cosmo at Aizen who used Millón Escudo to form a barrier of pure Reishi to block the attack, however, the more power Saga pumped into the attack, the bigger the beam got until it blasted the barrier to pieces and shot Aizen.
Aizen was knocked back but managed to land back on his feet, however, his body had clearly been damaged as the outer shell around his body had cracked and the cracks started to spread across his entire body.
Aizen: "It appears you're worthy of seeing what true evolution looks like."
As more and more of Aizen's chrysalis form broke open, a large amount of spiritual pressure burst out, all of it weighing down on Saga who struggled to stand.
Aizen: "Do you still think you are worthy of standing as my opponent?"
Aizen mocked, his body having reached a new stage of evolution. Aizen's head was exposed, however, his hair was much longer and his eyes had a purple sclera, matching the Hōgyoku's colours.
Despite this, Saga hadn't given up.
Saga: "No, I am the one who will be your killer."
Saga and Aizen flew at each other and Saga's golden gauntlet clashed with Kyōka Suigetsu. Saga's fist pushed the sword back. When Aizen moved his left hand to use a Hadō, Saga's other fist caught it, preventing him from doing so.
Aizen: Even without changing his form, his power continues to grow.
Aizen noted as he felt the energy emitting from Saga start to burn his hand.
As the two continued their clash, black energy started to form walls around the two. Saga looked around in confusion before turning to see Aizen, knowing that it was Aizen's ability in motion.
Aizen: "Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi."
The black energy formed a large coffin around them, coating them in complete darkness. Saga instantly began to feel the effects of the Hadō, his body felt the pressure of both time and space warping around him. As he felt his body warp and distort from the pressure, Saga lifted up his hands, raising both Aizen's Zanpakutō and left hand, before forming Cosmo around his hands.
Aizen: "This is...?!"
Aizen realised that Saga was about to unleash a powerful attack, he kicked at Saga, freeing himself and flew backwards, away from whatever he was about to do.
Saga formed a small galaxy-like disc in his hands before crushing it with a clap of both of his hands.
Saga: "Galaxian Explosion!"
Saga thrust his hand forward, shooting large planet-shaped objects, each one bursting with power, at Aizen. They repeatedly crashed into him before exploding, launching him further and further back until they slammed him against a wall.
Aizen laid against the wall, looking down, he saw parts of his body atomising before his very eyes.
Saga: "It's over..."
Saga said as he turned away, only to feel an intense burst of energy and a pillar of light form from behind him. Saga turned to see Aizen floating there, once again having taken on a new form. He had fully healed and now had a hole in his chest where the Hōgyoku was attached by four thin strips of Aizen's body.
Aizen: "My evolution has no end, my ambitions, my very being, are limitless. The Hōgyoku has deemed it so."
Aizen boasted.
Saga: "Are your delusions also limitless?"
Saga said as he faced Aizen. He leapt and started to punch at Aizen's body, landing punch after punch.
Saga: "Every one of your evolved states has failed you, why will this one be different?"
Saga said, continuing his assault.
However, Aizen caught one of his punches with his left hand before pulling up his sword and stabbing Saga in the forehead.
Aizen: "You have no right to question me, your futile efforts to end my life have fallen to shambles."
Saga pushed himself off of the blade, however, the second he did, Aizen started a volley of slashes across Saga's body.
Aizen: "Every step of my journey to Godhood is littered with those unfit to stand beside me, you will not be an exception."
Aizen monologues as he assaults Saga with his sword, the two are flying through the air with Saga losing control as he is flung side to side with Aizen's slashes. As Aizen launched Saga to the ground, he decided to use his strongest Hadō on him.
Aizen: "Hadō #99: Goryūtenmetsu!"
Purple dragons made of pure Reishi formed from Aizen's body and completely demolished the temple around them, the ground crumbled and the walls shattered as the dragon spread all across them, starting its wave of destruction as it flew directly at Saga's body.
The resulting explosion left a large crater, completely demolishing the entire area around them to the point that it was impossible to tell if a temple had ever been built there.
Despite this sheer level of destruction, Aizen knew Saga wasn't dead, he could feel his spiritual pressure even beyond the rubble and smoke cloud.
Aizen: "Rise up. If you continue to live, then the least you could do is serve as a tool for my continuous growth. Let me see a world where only the Gods may exist."
Aizen spoke to himself as he hovered over the area. He looked down and saw a glint of something golden spark before launching itself at him. Saga had flown up, Cosmo burning from every inch of his body as he punched Aizen in the face.
Saga: "Humanity ill needs a God such as you."
Saga said before he shot multiple balls of Cosmo at Aizen, blasting parts of his body to atoms with each shot. Saga successfully wiped out Aizen's left arm.
Saga: "I shall be the one to guide them and I will annihilate every single God, starting with you."
Saga continued his monologue as he blasted Aizen's legs into nothing, leaving him as nothing more than the upper half of a torso, one arm and his head. Aizen fell to the crater he created with a thud, seconds later, Saga fell onto his body with a stomp, pressing his golden boot against the Hōgyoku.
Aizen: "Hehehe... Hahaha!"
Despite it all, Aizen started to laugh, confusing Saga given the advantage he had.
Aizen: "And that's the most tragic part, your potential, your drive, your will to succeed. All of it was the key needed to further me, to push the Hōgyoku into giving me everything I could want."
Aizen said as something resembling a blackened third eye split up in Aizen's forehead. The eye began to leak out over Aizen's body, forming an entirely new body. His body became completely white aside from his completely black face aside from razor-sharp white teeth, there were holes in his torso and six wings, each with skull-like faces on their ends. His Zanpakutō had fused and become a part of his right hand.
The force of the transformation alone pushed Saga back and into the sky with Aizen flying up to fight him.
Aizen: "You'll be put in your place, human, you'll learn to fall in line before a God or be erased."
One of the heads on Aizen's wings opened its jaw and created a small ball of purple energy. It shot it at Saga who backhanded it away, only to see the gigantic explosion it made when it collided with the ground down below.
Aizen flew at Saga with his sword drawn, stabbing it against the chest plate of the Gemini Gold Cloth.
Aizen: "Your armour might save you from Kyōka Suigetsu's edge but it won't save you from this."
Aizen said as he spread all six of his wings around Saga's body, each of the heads faced Saga and created purple Fragor around him. Instead of instantly blasting him, they created a purple ring that shrank in size before wrapping around Saga.
The second they touched Saga's body, they all detonated in an intense pillar of bright light.
Aizen was left all alone as the dust cloud from the explosion engulfed both the area beneath him before blowing over him, creating a smoke screen.
From the smoke cloud, Saga flew up, his hair singed and the skin on his face burnt, however, he was mostly fine as he charged at Aizen with his eyes glowing bright red.
Saga: "Demon Emperor Fist!"
Saga punched forward, shooting a thin beam of Cosmo directly into Aizen's head.
Aizen: "N-No..."
Aizen's cringed as he felt himself being robbed of control of his own body.
The two lowered themselves out of the air and down into the crater where the temple was destroyed. Aizen's body knelt without his say-so as Saga stood over him, his hand pointed down at Aizen.
Saga: "End your own life, use your sword to do it."
Without saying anything, Aizen took the sword merged into his right hand and stabbed it through his chest and through the Hōgyoku, shattering it into pieces before he fell down dead. Saga hovered over Aizen's body.
Saga: "Mhmhmh... HAHAHAHA!"
Saga laughed to himself as Aizen's body lay motionless on the floor.
However, after Saga thought he had won, he saw Aizen stand back up
Saga: "But that jewel was destroyed, how can yo-"
Before Saga could finish his sentence, Aizen swung Kyōka Suigetsu down across Saga's chest. Instead of just uselessly scratching across his Gold Cloth, the torso of the Gemini Gold Cloth broke off from Saga's body, leaving his chest open to be scratched.
Saga: "Argh!"
Saga yelled out in pain. As he did so, the rest of the Gemini Gold Cloth broke apart and flew away from the fight, completely disappearing from sight.
Aizen: "It appears your own armour has abandoned you, how pathetic..."
Aizen said as he walked towards Saga.
Saga threw out a ball of Cosmo at Aizen, only for him to casually bat it aside with his sword.
Saga: This can't be happening! Why is this happening? Why has the Gemini Gold Cloth betrayed me!
Saga was beginning to freak out, Aizen had seemingly grown so much stronger in power and he had lost his own armour. When Aizen got close enough, he swung Kyōka Suigetsu down at Saga's arm, completely severing it from his body and making Saga stumble backwards.
Saga: "This can't be real!"
Saga yelled out loud.
As soon as he did so, he remembered something that happened earlier in the fight. When Saga was puppeteering his Gold Cloth, Aizen had previously used an illusion to draw him closer.
Saga closed his eyes and focused on the area around him, rather than the opponent he could visibly see and feel. He focused enough that he could "sense" something behind, something that he couldn't hear, feel, smell or see.
Saga quickly turned around and reached his hand up to the side of his neck, catching an invisible blade with his bare hands. As soon as he did so, everything around him shattered like glass, his armour was revealed to have always been on his body, his arm had never been cut off and the Aizen that was overpowering him had vanished.
Aizen: "What?! How?! How could you see through Kyōka Suigetsu's Complete Hypnosis?! I controlled all five of your senses! How is this possible?!"
Aizen began to panic, never in his life had Complete Hypnosis failed him, everyone had fallen under its spell, so how did Saga bypass it?
Saga: "Fool, did you think I only had five senses?"
Saga revealed as he punched Aizen with a ball of Cosmo in his fist, launching him up into the air.
To counter, Aizen started to shoot Fragor after Fragor from each of his six wings down at Saga, practically carpet-bombing the environment below him. Aizen knew this wouldn't be enough to kill him alone, but there was something that might work.
Aizen: "Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy. Boil forth and deny. Grow numb and flicker. Disrupt sleep. Crawling queen of iron. Eternally self-destructing doll of mud. Unite. Repulse. Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!!"
Aizen started to speak the full chant of one of his strongest Hadō. Saga, having managed to not be blown up by the Fragor, flew up just as Aizen was about to unleash his most powerful Hadō.
Aizen: "Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi!"
In the blink of an eye, the environment around the two men had completely blackened as Kurohitsugi's effect surrounded them. All of the light had vanished, leaving the two of them in complete darkness as space and time warped around them.
After a few seconds, Aizen remained floating in the darkness completely alone.
Aizen: Finally, he has fallen.
Aizen thought to himself, no longer being able to feel Saga's spiritual pressure.
Aizen: Mhmh, Hahah-
Aizen began to internally laugh before realising something.
Aizen: Why can't I hear myself? Why can't I move?
Aizen thought to himself as the world around him remained pitch black.
Outside of Aizen's perspective, Saga was floating in front of the paralysed Aizen, both of them still encased in Kurohitsugi though neither of them were being hurt by it.
Saga: "Without any of your five senses, you're nothing more than a corpse with a functioning brain. Let me end that."
Saga said with his finger pointed at Aizen. As soon as Kurohitsugi had taken effect, Saga used his own Cosmo to remove all five of Aizen's senses, preventing him from doing anything.
Wanting to finish the fight then and there, Saga powered up to land the killing blow.
Saga: "Burn my Cosmo! Vanish along with the Stars!"
Saga created a small galaxy in front of him before crushing it.
Saga: "Galaxian Explosion!"
Saga yelled out, his strongest attack sending waves and waves of destructive Cosmo everywhere, completely demolishing Kurohitsugi before targeting Aizen. Exploding planets flew at Aizen at high speeds, each one ploughing right through his body and atomising whatever they touched, leaving large holes in his body and breaking apart large chunks of his limbs over and over again until nothing was left of his body.
Saga let the dust settle as the last piece of Aizen faded away.
Saga: "You were never fit to stand near me, let alone the Gods."

Saga, now wearing his Pope disguise, walks out of the crater as Athena's guards run down it to inspect the damage.
Boomstick: Welp, some much for those plans, four eyes.
Wiz: This battle was absurd, especially given the nature of both series and their respective power systems and sheer scale of power. In order to best explain, we'll break this fight down into five core categories to show who wins.
Boomstick: This first one might seem fairly even, both Saga and Aizen are absolutely strong enough to destroy the universe with Aizen being stronger than the Soul King and Saga being stronger than people like Ares Mu.
Wiz: But that's just their baseline power. The Soul King was strong enough that him merely being supported the continuous existence of three separate reals, those being our own universe, the universe of Soul Society and the universe where Hueco Mundo exists. And that's just his existence, his raw power would far exceed that.
Boomstick: But that's nothing compared to what Shaka can do. In his battle against Shijima, the two were creating and destroying "countless universes" in seconds, and Saga is directly said to be stronger than Shaka.
Wiz: There simply isn't enough proof that Aizen, his Hadō, his Zanpakutō or the Hōgyoku are strong enough on their own or together to bridge a gap of Saga being hundreds to thousands of times stronger in raw power.
Boomstick: Saga may take the strength advantage but can he take speed?
Wiz: While Aizen is able to react to faster-than-light attacks and scale massively above lightning timers, that level of speed is the bare minimum for any Saint who has the Seventh Sense as stated multiple times.
Boomstick: And if you go off of direct numbers, it's even worse.
Wiz: Scaling to Pegasus Seiya travelling across the Hyperdimension, crossing billions of galaxies, would require him to be moving at over twenty-seven sextillions times the speed of light, that is over one sextillion times faster than anything Aizen or any other Bleach character has managed.
Boomstick: Saga could kill Aizen and go high-five everyone in the entire world before Aizen could even blink.
Wiz: Next up is comparing their vast array of powers and abilities. Both had absurdly strong abilities such as atomising targets, casting illusions and regeneration that would stop them from ever dying.
Boomstick: But Saga's were just better. Sure, Hadō number 90 could atomise someone if Aizen manages to get the full speech out first, but literally every attack Saga or anyone else in Saint Seiya has ever used does the same thing.
Wiz: Then there's the big one, could Saga get around Kyōka Suigetsu's Complete Hypnosis?
Boomstick: Let's get this out of the way first, Complete Hypnosis was way better than the Labyrinth of Twins, which only does visual illusions instead of all five senses and it's shown that those who can sense spiritual energy can tell that its an illusion pretty much instantly, like Aizen could.
Wiz: But it wouldn't work on Saga forever, not only has he dealt with illusions from much stronger people like Virgo Shaka, but he's also shown the ability to destroy them with a strong enough blast of Cosmo.
Boomstick: And that's without talking about the whole "an attack won't work on a Saint twice" thing.
Wiz: It has been repeatedly shown that once a Saint understands an attack or even sees it in motion, they will forever be immune to the technique which would include Complete Hypnosis.
Boomstick: And that's assuming it would even work in the first place, Complete Hypnosis only targets five senses but Saga has three more senses that Aizen can't control, meaning that Saga would still be able to find Aizen even while he's being hit by the illusion.
Wiz: In the best-case scenario, Aizen would only be able to use Kyōka Suigetsu's Shikai once before Saga becomes completely immune to it for the rest of the fight.
Boomstick: That'd also mean that Aizen is on borrowed time since all of his Kidō would stop working after he uses them once.
Wiz: Meanwhile, Saga could simply banish Aizen with Another Dimension, brainwashing him into impaling himself on his Zanpakutō, remove all of his senses and leave him as a barely living husk, or simply atomise his spirit without any way to protect himself.
Wiz: But abilities aren't the only factor.
Boomstick: It's how you use them.
Wiz: And much like some of the other categories, this is a fairly cut-and-dry case, this time in Aizen's favour.
Boomstick: Saga isn't stupid, he managed to trick everyone at Sanctuary for over ten years that he wasn't secretly the Pope that was ruling everything.
Wiz: But compared to Aizen who managed to successfully fool almost everyone at Soul Society, manipulating those in power to banish those who would be a threat and keep up his charade for well over one hundred years proves that Aizen isn't just smart, he's a genius and that's not even talking about how he managed to recreate the Hōgyoku in just a few days.
Boomstick: Sure, he had an ego problem, but so does Saga, the guy who thinks he's better than the Gods, so it evens out.
Wiz: Aizen was so ungodly smarter that he could easily manipulate Saga during their fight, like how he did with every one of Ichigo's fights until they fought.
Boomstick: Plus, Aizen's been a Soul Reaper for over a hundred years more than Saga's been alive, so he has a lot more combat experience and training than Saga could ever hope to have.
Wiz: But then there's the big thing, which is better, the Gemini Gold Cloth or the Hōgyoku.
Boomstick: The Gold Cloth offers up a lot of serious protection and firepower, but so does the Hōgyoku and as a bonus, it even lets Aizen regenerate.
Wiz: In terms of their pros, they are borderline equals with the Hōgyoku taking the slight edge due to how it could make Aizen evolve up to a certain point.
Boomstick: So let's look at their negatives which they both share, they're both like unloyal spouses, they'll abandon you whenever they want.
Wiz: Both the Hōgyoku and Gold Cloths have minds of their own and if they so wish, they can leave their host, however, only one of these has actually left their host before.
Boomstick: After Dangai Ichigo beat the piss out of Aizen, the Hōgyoku decided that it backed the wrong horse and left Aizen for good.
Wiz: Meanwhile, despite Saga having a literal evil alternate personality bent on world conquest and baby murder, the Gemini Gold Cloth has never abandoned Saga. Whether this is because Saga's Cosmo is so strong that he could still puppet the armour or if the Gold Cloth has a bad sense of character, it is very unlikely that the Gold Cloth would leave him in this fight, even if Aizen tried to manipulate him into losing it.
Boomstick: Even if both lost their special little toys, Saga would only lose some of his protection and some strength but Aizen would lose his ability to get stronger, all of his transformations and their abilities, including his regeneration which is the only thing keeping him from being killed instantly if Saga tried to atomise Aizen.
Wiz: And unlike Aizen, Saga would keep his regeneration since that's reliant on his Eighth Sense rather than his Gemini Gold Cloth.
Wiz: While Aizen is one of the smartest and most manipulative people we've ever seen, Saga's powers on a cosmic and godly scale are more than enough to grant him victory.
Boomstick: Aizen may have wished upon a star but in the end, he'd ended up dead in a coffin.
Wiz: The winner is Gemini Saga.
