- The connection between "GT" Goku and "Super" Goku is that they are both variations of the character Son Goku from different continuations of the Dragon Ball series after Z (Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super, respectively) who unlocked new Super Saiyan transformations with a red colouration (4 and God, respectively) and new states of being (a post-death manifestation and Ultra Instinct, respectively). Both have also searched for new versions of the Dragon Balls (the Black Star Dragon Balls and Super Dragon Balls, respectively).
- OST Idea: "Grand or Godly", based on the former's series, the latter's Super Saiyan God form and the fact the franchise diverged between the two versions.
