Interlude[]
Wiz: Freddy Krueger, Elm Streets Dream Demon.
Boomstick: HABIT, EverymanHybrid's Demonic entity.
Wiz: Demons, they're one thing that most of us humans are better off not interacting with. They're ruthless, cold, and murderous.
Boomstick: And these two are the perfect example of that. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And today we'll look at their armor, stats, and skills to find out who would win...a Death Battle.
Freddy Krueger[]
Boomstick: Nursery rhymes are meant to sound nice and calming, to help people be at ease and often times help children. However there are some that have a much more darker meaning to them.
Wiz: Such as the case with a rhyme that tells about the Dream Demon. Freddy Krueger.
Boomstick: Fredrick Charles Krueger was born from an unfortunate case. His mother Amanda Krueger was sadly assaulted and raped, from there on out she'd become pregnant with Fredrick.
Wiz: Much of Freddy's childhood isn't well known until later in life where he'd become a notorious serial killer, murdering children he lured into a false sense of security.
Boomstick: Despite killing so many children, he was never arrested, sure he was held in a trial but there wasn't enough to arrest him so Krueger was let go. This made the parents justifiably upset, so they got together, trapped him inside a boiler room. The same room he killed the kids in. And killed him by lighting it on fire. Killing him.
Wiz: For a while, Freddy was believed to be dead, gone. The family could rest happily, knowing their children's killer was dead. Sadly all of that was just a beginning. Because while Freddy was stuck inside that burning room he was given a visit by some demons, things called Dream Demons.
Boomstick: Demons who wanted to shatter the reality between Dreams and the real world. And Freddy was the perfect fit for it. Soon Freddy Krueger went from a normal human to a demon that haunts and kills you in your dreams.
Wiz: Freddy would go on to kill anyone who uttered his name. The more you spread his name the more stronger he can become. He'd become some sort of boogeyman that the towns parents would use to scare the kids. It even got to a point where the parents would ignore any plea that their child would make about a man wearing a fedora appearing in their dreams.
Boomstick: All this killing would eventually lead him to one Nancy Thompson, who somehow managed to defeat Freddy, not for good, but managing to fend off Krueger is nothing more than a miracle considering all the stuff he can do.
Wiz: Everyone knows Freddy with his iconic Finger Knife Glove, made in his own shop containing around four knives.
Boomstick: These are easy to use for cutting and slicing people up and they work effectively in both dream and real worlds. But these bad boys are nothing when you look at his Dream powers.
Wiz: Freddy is essentially able to manipulate and control peoples dreams.
Boomstick: And we all know how weird dreams get, so its no surprise that Freddy can do crazy shit.
Wiz: Like appearing as the Wicked Witch, Grow to gigantic size, and control someone like a puppet. He can treat you like a video game character and he's the player.
Boomstick: he can stretch his arms, Peer into some's dreams to gather their darkest fears and turn people into stuff like Cockroaches. Ew.
Wiz: Freddy can manage to heal any injuries he sustains in the dream world.
Boomstick: Freddy is able to turn the world into an underwater oasis, can appear anywhere in the dream world and his powers only get strong with the souls he's eaten, can use and manipulate fire at his will.
Wiz: He can use Telekinesis to throw people around, like what he did with Jason Voorhees. He's manipulated Gravity, summon a tornado, and has shown he has control over a multitude of technology.
Boomstick: Freddy can also possess people with a Dream slug? yeah Freddy vs Jason introduced some weird stuff and there's also how he can still keep moving his Skeleton, which was strong enough to kill people.
Wiz: In the Dream World, he can throw people around with no issue, warp the dream world like its his own universe no problem, and killed a ton of people. Even when he is dragged into the real world, Freddy won't go down easy.
Boomstick: Got lit on fire and kept moving, seems to be a trend with these Slashers. Is fine being sent flying and taking a shit load of hits from Jason Voorhees, can take being stabbed, even when its his own knife glove going through his chest.
Wiz: Freddy's movies, Robert Englund, and his impact got to such a point that an evil entity decided to mold itself after Krueger and what he did.
Boomstick: That's Wes Cravens New Nightmare for ya.
Wiz: Even when he's been Decapitated and seemingly beaten, Freddy Krueger has always managed to find a way back into peoples dreams.
HABIT[]
Wiz: Its always a part of human history to try and explain the Unknown. To give it reason for many things. Why it exists, why it does what it does, and why its happening.
Boomstick: But with this Psychotic monster, there really is no explaining it.
Wiz: All we can say to the best of our understanding is that HABIT has been around for as long as the Universe and had enough time to take on multiple different infamous names like Jack the Ripper, Ed Gein, and Vlad the Impaler.
Boomstick: HABIT's true identity has been unknown for years, he's been theorized as a Demon or a Ghost. Whether he's one of those or not, HABIT would eventually come across EverymanHYBRID and being able to hack technology, he decided to make them his next target.
Wiz: Mysterious videos with Morse coded titles started appearing. He messed around a lot with them and he'd find a new host in the form of Evan Jennings. Evan wasn't the first person HABIT would posses.
Boomstick: He's possessed stuff like kids and has driven people to insanity with it, like how he did with Dr. Corenthal. If he does get tired of the body he's possessing he can claim a different host.
Wiz: Whenever he's dealt damage, HABIT can regenerate any wounds. Such as when he could heal from disembowelment from the monster called The Rake. He can take any sort of object and make it into a handy weapon, has hacked a multitude of electronics.
Boomstick: HABIT can cast Illusions, has Technopathy that allows him control over lights, cars, and videos. But none of those can compare to HABIT's insane reality warping.
Wiz: He can control the entirety of space and time, control peoples minds and memories, and manipulate entire pocket realities.
Boomstick: HABIT can raise the dead with necromancy and he's able to manipulate the Plot in some form.
Wiz: You see Vinnie, believed that the entire EverymanHYBRID crew were just fictional and they were trapped in an endless loop which we're known as Iterations.
Boomstick: To get even more deep, HABIT alongside Slenderman, yes Slenderman directly control the crews lives, resetting it or moving on when they feel like it.
Wiz: HABIT seems to have the ability to cause bleeding even without touching someone, can produce music without any instruments and wields different weapons.
Boomstick: Now they're usually basic stuff guns, knives, bats, axes, swords, a chainsaw named Rex, you know stuff perfect for killing. But he has something called a North Star Weapon.
Wiz: Which is just insane. It's a combination of weapons such as Shotguns and knives made of special properties.
Boomstick: Such as forcing the concept of mortality onto anyone that he manages to injure. Even if they have regeneration or Immortality. He's killed entire Gods with this damn thing and he himself is immune to this weapon so there's no luck of turning it against him.
Wiz: A weapon such as that has put him on the same level as Slenderman himself and has had complete control over history itself. HABIT is such a strong force that he's made Slenderman incapable of entering his home.
Boomstick: HABIT could basically interfere with others Powers. And Slenderman is no push over. His Tendrils are strong enough to smash through dimensions. His presence got to the point that even with an Ego, and choosing to play with his food over killing them instantly, HABIT did it. All the characters, Noah, Jeff, Vinnie, Evan, died, trapping copies into different timelines.
Wiz: Putting the crew into some weird afterlife, to be continuously tormented, there really was a reason why HABIT was called Humanities bad habit.
Intermission[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set and we've ran the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: Its time for....a Death Battle!!!
Pre-Fight[]
A Boiler room was a weird place for a dream to take you too. But there was a much bigger worry for the poor boy instead. That would be the form of a twisted and burned man wearing a fedora.
He runs wherever he can think of but it seems like the place is a constant maze, he runs into different corners but he can't seem to escape.
Soon his running, leads him to a room with multiple different board walks and the sound of rushing water fills his ears. As he looks around the area, an awful screech of metal rings out to the area. His attention is brought to the cause. That same man.
Freddy Krueger narrows his eyes on the man as he gets closer. The dream demon smiles, getting close to his new kill.
But before Freddy can get a new kill in, something else bursts through the boardwalk behind the man, something that jumps up and swings something quickly to slice off the man's head.
Blood spurts out all over Freddy's face. Krueger can't help but wipe the blood off and his face twists into anger.
"No!!!"
Freddy yells from his missed kill.
Standing right there is another man who can't help but laugh.
"Aw what's the matter, someone beat ya to it, Krueger?"
HABIT can't help but smirk as Freddy gets more angry. "I'll teach you a lesson, I'll make you regret messing with me" Freddy drawls out as he prepares his knives. HABIT checks his wrist at a none existent watch.
"Eh I got time"
Fight[]
Freddy attacks HABIT with his glove but he brings up his chainsaw to block the incoming blow. HABIT turns his head and smiles, sticking out his tongue and making fun of Freddy.
He generates a Baseball bat, swinging it and nailing Freddy across the face. The blows throw the man backward and HABIT rushes to him, preparing for another blow. But before he can he's stopped by an invisible force before being slammed into the wooden boardwalk and dragged backwards.
Freddy cackles loudly as he turns the ocean around them into cold hard stone and rapidly slams HABIT against it. Soon HABIT finds himself being slammed across a concrete room.
Flying into the stone walls and floor Freddy laughs, manipulating it all with just his fingers. Then the concrete room closes on HABIT and seems to crush him. An explosion bursts the walls apart and HABIT flies at Freddy. But before he can land another blow his body is cut and sliced into a multitude of different pieces before Freddy appears and sends his knife glove through his chest.
Freddy brings the cut man close so he gets up to his ear.
"This is My world, Bitch"
But before Freddy's capable of doing anything the world around them shatters and HABIT regenerates his lost limbs. Grabs him by the glove before headbutting him and sending a flying baseball to slam against his chest. HABIT jumps down before sending a fist to Freddy's stomach and using his telepathy to send Krueger flying into multiple buildings.
Using the dream world's logic, HABIT creates a large ball of blackened fire that crashes down and explodes the entire city. Steam covers HABIT's vision but the man summons a giant gust of wind to throw away the steam but Freddy is nowhere to be spotted.
"Oh great where did you go now?"
Somehow, HABIT's own hand raises up and nails him across the face.
"What the Hell!!"
Soon his entire body is used against him. His arms are punching everywhere, his face, nailing his nose, cracking and breaking it, punching his stomach, and then being slammed with brute force against the ground before he's sent crashing against a bunch of rubble. A piece of boulder is picked up and smashed across his head.
HABIT watches as his weapons are levitated and used against him. The baseball bat whacks across the back of his head, his chainsaw is torn through his chest, and his North Star Weapon is also used.
"Oh great," he says very annoyingly.
The weapon is slammed against HABIT, which sends him flying all the way across the city and crashing into a mountain.
"Ow, that one hurt"
HABIT isn't given enough time to relax as his body is once again manipulated, his hand smacking his face repeatedly. From above him, laughter fills the entire area.
A gigantic Freddy manipulates HABIT with red strings made from his veins as he controls the other man's body. Eventually, HABIT's face becomes angered before letting out a yell grips a hold of his veins, and uses his chainsaw to cut through them.
He quickly spins around grabs them and yanks Freddy down to him. He lets out a surprised yell as HABIT grabs him by the throat.
"Damn you" Freddy spits out
"Freddy"
A voice calls out to him, a very recognizable voice.
Someone Freddy knows. Amanda Krueger.
There she stands both hands on Freddy's cheeks, on a very young child Freddy Krueger.
"I can't believe what you've done sweetheart" her voice echoes through Freddy's head. The poor kid can't help but shake his head and close his eyes shut.
"Your not real" Freddy whispers but another voice speaks up. "Actually, I give back every ounce of effort I gave you"
Freddy opens his eyes and there standing in front of him is Nancy Thompson with a look of anger and triumph. "Fuck you!!!" Freddy yells and goes to attack. Nailing Nancy across the face sends HABIT into the ground shattering the world around them like glass.
HABIT looks up at the incoming Krueger who has become even redder with rage, his face twisting and distorting in rage as he brings the knives down, before a large group of buildings is sent crashing into him.
"Why do you get angry at me, I'm not at fault for your parental issues" HABIT mutters before the buildings erupt into an explosion as Freddy grows back into his gigantic size. The sudden blast throws HABIT into the ground.
He looks up as Freddy brings his foot down, cashing onto him. The giant Krueger growls as steam escapes his mouth, looking down in rage. Then something escapes from his foot. HABIT flies up to look at Krueger in his eye. He creates two large fists. One was made of fire and the other was made from the street's concrete.
"Ooh, I never got to do something like this before" HABIT explains rather happily.
"Wipe that smirk off your face, you pathetic bastard, and die by the hand of God...This God" He swings his glove across the air. HABIT can only laugh before sending giant fists of fire and concrete towards Freddy.
Freddy swings at the giant fists. One nails him across the face and the other slams against his chest. Krueger's giant knife glove attacks HABIT who ducks from the blow. Using this opportunity he sends a fist upper cutting Freddy and sending the fists crashing down onto Freddy who catches the giant fists in his hands. Holding onto them he disintegrates them.
"Over already"
Another swing, another dodge, and HABIT is flying around Freddy.
"Tell me something Krueger, you call this little weapon of yours a God?"
Freddy then swings his left arm and brings his fist down onto HABIT sending him crashing into the street below. Removing his fist, Freddy looks down at a laughing HABIT.
"HAHAHAHA!!!!, Why...why don't I show you...what a real God looks like" HABIT smiles tilting his head, smiling crookedly. Freddy brings down his glove for one last blow but HABIT blasts through it slams into Freddy's head and rips all the way through it and onto the other side.
Up in the air, HABIT generates the weapon, the North Star Weapon. "Why don't I give you a little demonstration?"
HABIT rushes towards Freddy as the man yells out and throws his right arm for a punch. HABIT dodges the blow and swings the weapon into his arm which quickly tears it off. Freddy yells from the pain. He tries to regenerate his lost arm which doesn't happen.
HABIT comes down again and swings the weapon against his body. "batters up"
HABIT brings the weapon and slams it against the giant Freddy which obliterates it, throwing Freddy far away. As he gathers himself HABIT brings the weapon into Freddy's body, causing him to yell from the pain and cough up blood.
"Now this, this is my world...bitch"
Reaching for HABIT, he lets go and jumps away from Freddy with the weapon still stuck in him.
"Sayonara!!!"
Freddy looks down to see that the North Star Weapon has been infused with a giant drill blade and grenade.
The combination sets off and tears into Freddy's body. Causing the man to yell from the pain as he's taken higher into the sky before it explodes, killing the Dream Demon.
HABIT settles down on his feet.
Sighing, "What a great little show"
HABIT grabs a fallen skull that quickly fills with blood and HABIT takes a drink as giant body parts collapse onto the ground.
Conclusion[]
Boomstick: I didn't think it was ever possible to beat Freddy in his own world.
Wiz: Well it probably helps that HABIT was much better than anything Freddy could do.
Boomstick: Freddy might be a monster and unstoppable force in the Dream World HABIT had just what he needed to win.
Wiz: First off it needed to be established that HABIT could survive the dream world against Freddy and seeing how he could equal other powerful monsters like Slenderman, HABIT could hold his own against Freddy.
Boomstick: HABIT was also physically better. Having better showings of reality warping. Sure Freddy has an unlimited control in the dream world, HABIT has shown he can match beings who can shatter dimensions and control history.
Wiz: Not only that but HABIT's powers weren't limited to one world, Freddy could only use his powers in the dream world, so if HABIT managed to drag Freddy into the real world, he'd be powerless and HABIT would have an easier time finishing him off and HABIT could last long enough to pull Freddy into the real world.
Boomstick: But the biggest advantage HABIT had was his North Star Weapon. Sure you could say that Freddy was equal in reality warping to HABIT, he still had one advantage to put an end to Freddy.
Wiz: Freddy was strong but he wasn't strong enough to hold his own against HABIT.
Boomstick: Freddy could only Dream of being such a Star in this fight.
Wiz: The winner is HABIT.
