History[]
Born Dexter Douglas, a nerdy teenager living with his parents and older brother, he lived a normal life spending most of it on his computer. On Christmas Eve, his parents gave him a Pinnacle Chip, which was supposed to make any computer run twice as fast. However, the Pinnacle Chip contained a major flaw: should the code "@[=g3,8d]\&fbb=-q]/hk%fg" (quotation marks included) be entered followed by the delete key, it would suck the user into the internet and give them superpowers.
While he was installing the Pinnacle Chip, Dexter's cat accidentally walked over the keyboard and typed the code into the computer. Dexter attempted to delete the code only to activate the flaw and get zapped to cyberspace. There he absorbed the knowledge of the Internet, creating an insane alter ego with superhuman abilities known as Freakazoid. With the help of Roddy MacStew, one of the developers of the Pinnacle Chip, Freakazoid learned to control his newfound powers and dedicated himself to saving the world in the most unorthodox ways possible.
