Frankenstein's Monster vs. Nemesis T-Type is a What-If Death Battle by Pygmy Hippo 2.
Description[]
Frankenstein vs. Resident Evil! Will Frankenstein's Monster prove that his foe belongs dead or will Nemesis T-Type pursue his opponent to an early grave?
Interlude[]
Pygmy:It seems that movies and video games are constantly at war with each other and that doesn't change in the genre of horror.
Rose:Freddy Krueger vs. Slender Man, Jason Voorhees vs. The Animatronics, Leatherface vs. Chris Walker, and Pygmy's trying to add Michael Myers vs. Rena Ryugu to that, despite it not making any sense at all.
Zuggsy:But all of those debates are between the modern icons of horror, not the classic lumbering undead brutes with stiched heads who like using their hands to kill and are surprisingly intelligent.
Pygmy:Frankenstein's Monster, Universal's lightning rod made from stolen corpses!
Rose:Nemesis T-Type, Capcom's ultimate Tyrant who's actually got a weapon this time! Only took Umbrella three tries, guys!
Zuggsy:He's Pygmy, she's Rose, and we're going to see what these two have for a Death Battle.
Frankenstein's Monster[]
Background
-Age:Couple Decades?
-Height:8'|243.8 cm
-Weight:368 lbs?|166 kgs
-Nationality:Germany
-Has had various brains
-Lightning is his mother and Frankenstein his father
-Really likes music
Pygmy:Frankenstein's Monster is another one of those classic horror villains who's story is pretty much known by any fan although each version has its own twists like Fate making their version a female-
Rose:And Van Helsing being the worst that Mortal Kombat 11 had to bring back THAT look for their homage.
Pygmy:It wasn't that bad of a look but I can't deny that movie did him absolutely no favors.
Rose:Despite being passed over for Dracula and the Wolfman in the present, Adam if you're a book fan was perhaps the most famous of Universal's classic monsters where he started off being made by the doctor who wanted to play God by stitching a bunch of dead people together.
Zuggsy:Worked out really well as his assistant gave him a criminal brain that ped to his achievement strangling whoever annoyed him at the current moment and accidentally tossing a kid into a lake like a flower.
Pygmy:Kids in the nineteenth century clearly could not swim but no matter what happened to him, he always came back after lightning or elictricity shocked him although he went through numerous personality changes.
Rose:One moment you think you're just a regular undead giant trying to be friends with a blind guy then you decide you want a little girl's brain a couple movies later and wind up getting your best friend's brain instead who used to be Dracula. Oh and then you're blind.
Zuggsy:You regain your sight afterwards but lose all of the intellectual gains you got over the past rampages and then fight a werewolf, Quasimodo, a vampire, and finally meet your end against a comedy duo. Man, he's had a rough time.
Arsenal and Abilities
-Improvised Weapons
-Throwable Objects
-Bare Hands
-Electric Revitalization
-Stealth
-Learns Quick
-Immortality
Pygmy:At least Frankenstein's creation has a lot of things going for him that aren't luck such as his ability to make nooses to hang people, light them on fire with a torch, or try to use your metal chains as a strangling weapon.
Rose:His last outing proved that he's just as fine playing Donkey Kong as he hurled barrels, crates, and a ladder at fleeing comedians along with pushing off some wine barrels to get villagers away from his escape wagon.
Zuggsy:While we'll get into the specific strength feats later, he's perfectly fine strangling or just whacking people with his hand and lethal contact can rupture the human heart for some reason.
Pygmy:Might be related to how he's able to keep himself going after every horrific fate he meets in the end by just getting a single lightning bolt or some other crazy scientist trying to bring him back with electricity.
Rose:The Monster's fairly clever about how he hunts as he's able to stay out of people's sight for a while and sneak up on them in their own home or even play dead for a bit so he can get that perfect opportunity for a throat grab.
Zuggsy:He was able to learn how to speak after being with a blind hermit for a short amount of time and a different brain can greatly increase his intellect but it also helps that he's practically immortal.
Feats
-Pushed over a boulder and busted half an iron gate off its hinges
-Consistently overpowers other monsters and kill humans in a single blow
-Could run and climb in the past
-Survived a laboratory exploding and being dumped in sulfur which hardened around him
-Implied that the only way to destroy him permanently is dissection
-Has taken hostages on two occasions and has used the environment to his advantage multiple times
-Fought the Wolfman, villagers, and police and defeated a hunchback and vampire
Pygmy:Yes, Frankenstein's creation has survived a lot of things that have killed regular humans like massive explosions, houses burning down, a flood and being frozen solid twice, and sinking into hazardous materials like quicksand.
Rose:He's perfectly fine with bullets in his heart and moving through fire for a while, the only thing that actually put a dent in him was surgical tools to replace his brain implying he's like another Universal green guy who's not gotten the best treatment recently.
Zuggsy:But he's quick at times as well where he can run and climb in some movies but wind up having to slowly walk everywhere in others although as he got older, the latter was the norm.
Pygmy:He pushed over a medium-sized boulder, ripped metal chains out of the ground, busted down several doors, lift dead trees and large tables, and even incapacitated a man by closing a door on him.
Rose:That's not even mentioning how he's a Monster by even Monster standards, people who can easily overpower humans wind up being manhandled and the Wolfman who managed to overpower Dracula even was repeatedly pushed away.
Zuggsy:He framed a murder as a wagon accident, drowned one man, takes hostages so his demands are met or for vengeance, and knows the name of who created him along with being able to understand who brought him back from dormancy.
Pygmy:The thing is that while his body is seemingly indestructible except for his specific weakness to sharp tools, he can lose his electrical charge through enough trauma or time and grow weaker before finally being pretty much dead which is how falling into the ocean did him in.
Rose:No saving him from that one and he's prone to outbursts of anger that either get an angry mob angrier or just lead to him continuing to come after the Wolfman as he climbs even though he's gotten pounced on before.
Zuggsy:Lawrence Talbot outsmarted him and Dracula could easily convince him to do his bidding although he was afraid his hypnosis wouldn't work against his will along with Costello tricking him for a moment by impersonating the Count.
Rose:Frankenstein's Monster might not be able to escape getting worse with age but he's still one of the strongest classics around.
"We belong dead."
Nemesis T-Type[]
Background
-Age:Couple Months?
-Height:7'3"|220.9 cm
-Weight:310+ lbs?|140 kgs
-Nationality:Europe
-AKA:The Pursuer
-Technically a Parasite in a Tyrant Body
-Has purple blood
Pygmy:We've talked about Umbrella's Tyrants before but we haven't talked about the sister project by the European branch recently which was another attempt to make monsters military weapons.
Rose:How many times have we heard that plot line? They basically decided to make a bunch of parasites just to make their undead mutants smarter but they all died afterwards which isn't good for business.
Zuggsy:Tyrants could survive the process but it unfortunately worked too well for two models as they got enough of their former minds back to decide to escape from the corporate lunatics wanting to make giant frog monsters a staple of war.
Rose:Ironic considering I thought we said the French made Nemesis T-Type on Google +.
Pygmy:It's just Europe now and it's actually just one out of several more, this one just got dropped off by a helicopter like it's fedora-wearing predecessor and was then shown photos of it's targets.
Rose:Turns out Umbrella really doesn't like people who kill their greatest creations and then try to expose them for being comically evil so they gave Trenchcoat 2 a rocket launcher and told it to get hunting.
Zuggsy:Unfortunately it only killed the pilot of the group before running into Jill Valentine and then several mercenaries who wore down it's considerable endurance until it couldn't heal anymore. At least Jay Leno didn't do it in.
Arsenal and Abilities
-Rocket Launcher
-Tentacles
-Hand-to-Hand Combat
-Trenchcoat
-Regeneration
-Mutation
-T-Virus Infection
Pygmy:Nemesis' rocket launcher is a pretty impressive ranged weapon that can not only fire repeatedly but also shoot down helicopters, decimate zombie bodies, and rven be used as a club although it can be destroyed by gunfire.
Rose:It's also got a single tentacle in it's first form that can be used to stab people through the mouth or extended further like a spear and the second form has several for whipping and grabbing purposes. It's pretty much what would happen if you decided to mix Chris Walker's DNA with Slender Man.
Zuggsy:Like it's predecessor, it knows some decent combat moves including punches while walking or running, throwing people, and yanking their legs out from under them in the second form.
Pygmy:Even it's clothes are decent protection as the coat it wears helps reduce the damage done to it's body by firearms and explosives although it can be destroyed with enough damage.
Rose:T-Type has a healing factor that enables it to get up after every large explosion and barrage of gunshots after a while and it can mutate to get to another form if it can't heal the current damage.
Zuggsy:Probably it's most deadly weapon is the fact that it can infect victims with the T-Virus by stabbing them with a tentacle which can not only turn humans into zombies but animals as well.
Feats
-Busted through a train roof and wall
-Regularly lifts up people and slams them around, potentially lethally
-Can run when it wants to and dodge grenade launcher shots
-Can survive at least four major explosions plus getting shot repeatedly
-Even without final mutation, can keep fighting without an arm and head
-Could track Jill throughout Racoon City
-Fought Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira and killed Brad Vickers, zombies, and Mikhail Viktor
Pygmy:Nemesis is just as strong as other Tyrants, able to smash through the roof of a train or wall with little difficulty along with being able to easily lift human targets with a single hand or multiple tentacles.
Rose:It's fond of throwing people around or just slamming them into the ground which actually has lethal potential if done a couple times along with punches being emough to kill zombies in two hits.
Zuggsy:It's not slow either, running fast if it wants to, dodging grenade launcher shots from close range, and even leaping over the fence for the police station along with using it's tentacles to pull it onto a wooden bridge in it's second form.
Pygmy:Remember those large explosions mentioned earlier? Those include two kitchen gas tanks exploding, one that was powerful enough to knock two people out a window, and a grenade explosion that blew up most of a train but the first two only keep it down for a while.
Rose:T-Type doesn't even need it's head like the previous Tyrants and was perfectly content to try killing Jill without an arm as well before eating a Tyrant body to turn into a giant acid spitting monster with tentacles and back spikes that took two railgun shots to cripple.
Zuggsy:And a revolver magazine if she decided to kill the thing for tracking her throughout most of Racoon City which required it to figure out various ways to reach her including busting through the window of the police station after the front doors held.
Pygmy:It fought Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira who both had experience fighting Umbrella's creations before amd killed the S.T.A.R.S. pilot and forced another mercenary to sacrifice himself to injure it.
Rose:It's most notable weakness is that it can only take so much damage before having to lie down and heal but seems to know when to mutate as it laid down in fire to get to the second form and ate a Tyrant body to get to the third form.
Zuggsy:Like it's foe, it seemingly can't swim either and prefers to walk at targets unless angered or they get too far away along with being able to be shocked by electricity or blinded by spotlights.
Rose:Nemesis T-Type certainly deserves it's spot as one of horror gaming's first and finest antagonists.
"S.T.A.R.S!"
Intermission[]
Pygmy:We've looked through all the info and found a victor.
Rose:It's time for a Death Battle!
Death Battle[]
Racoon City
The Umbrella Corporation had made many questionable decisions in their efforts to create the perfect B.O.W. and buying the remains of what was rumored to be Frankenstein's Monster was one of the more ridiculous ones. However the crate was torn open in the middle of the chaos engulfing the city, whether it was zombies or scavengers didn't matter, what did was that a thunderstorm was going on and a lightning bolt hit the bolts on the doctor's creation's neck. His body was perfectly untouched except for being stuck in a box for the past couple decades and that electric boost was enough to bring him back up to his full might where he decided to see what was going on for himself.
Nemesis T-Type didn't care what it's makers had brought to the city unless it got in the way of it and it's quarry, Jill Valentine, who was running out of ammo and moving towards a place that looked like a tourist trap made to look like a classic German village. Umbrella's B.O.W. didn't care about the resemblance but finishing it's job but as it ran forwards to maul her, something else punched it in the face and it took a step back before looking at what dared to get in it's way. "Mine." The Monster tried to make his claim known but the other undead had spent an entire night chasing that woman and it wasn't about to back down because it's foe towered over it, rather it gave it's own response. "S.T.A.R.S!"
Fight!
Frankenstein's creation started choking Nemesis but the smaller undead clearly wasn't affected by it before it drove it's hand tentacle through one of it's larger foe's arms who merely grunted in pain. The doctor's abomination pushed Umbrella's B.O.W. over but it avoided a stomp from it's foe before punching him in the face as it quickly rose up, the blow only angered him even more as he yelled and reached for his foe again. T-Type dodged the Monster's attempt at a grapple and tried lifting him up afterwards only for it to quickly lose control once more and get a fist smacking it's neck which only made it convinced it needed a different approach.
Nemesis quickly got in several punches against Frankenstein's creation and when it felt that the larger foe was knocked off-balance, it leapt away before finding it's rocket launcher and running back before it caught a barrel to the face. Umbrella's B.O.W. took a ladder, boxes, and even more barrels without doing anything but aiming it's signature weapon which fired twice and engulfed the doctor's abomination in an explosion. The Monster walked out of the smoke to smack a torch against T-Type's body which finally made it growl in anger before smacking it's larger foe across the face with the launcher which made him angrily grab it before breaking it in half with a single hand.
That caused another explosion which caused Nemesis' coat to start tearing before Frankenstein's creation finished the process and only got several tentacles wrapped around him for his efforts. The doctor's abomination was slammed around by Umbrella's B.O.W. before he managed to break free and cause purple blood to flow everywhere as the surviving tentacle wrapped around his neck and started choking him. T-Type's appendage punched through the Monster's and started working upwards to the head which finally gave it's larger foe the incentive that he needed to grab the smaller antagonist"s arm and rip it off.
Frankenstein's creation ignored the relentless punches from Nemesis' good arm to start delivering his own blows to the smaller undead's face which started splitting open from the impacts before it finally fell apart. Umbrella's B.O.W fell over and the doctor's abomination left it to decay before seeing the body start moving and he yelled at it but didn't continue his attack which proved to be a mistake as it reached a Tyrant body. The Monster watched T-Type start chomping into the corpse and start transforming into something bigger than even him and with a much more horrific appearance as acid dripped from it's pincer-like mouth and more tentacles came for him.
Nemesis got a couple chest stabs in before Frankenstein's creation started dragging it around by it's own appendages and slammed it on it's back before tearing them out and putting a boot on it to keep it still. The doctor's abomination didn't get the chance to crush it as it spit acid at his face and Umbrella's B.O.W took the opportunity to throw him off before biting the middle of his body in an attempt to cut him in half. The Monster forcefully opened T-Type's mouth spikes and then tore them off which made it thrash in pain before knocking it over and letting out a victorious roar as he moved his body downwards to slam his fists on it until it died.
"You belong dead!" What he didn't anticipate was Nemesis moving so it's back faced Frankenstein's creation and hurling itself backwards to impale him on it's back spikes which made both topple over onto the ground. Umbrella's B.O.W felt itself getting picked up and flailed some more but the doctor's abomination began crying out in pain aa he attempted to push the giant beast off of him but collapsed again. T-Type waited a couple seconds before yanking itself off the body and noticed when it turned around that there were multiple deeper wounds on the Monster torso and one missing eye that it realized finally killed it's foe.
K.O!
Nemesis T-Type crawls around Racoon City looking for where Jill went as Frankenstein's Monster gets struck by lightning again but doesn't rise this time.
Results[]
Rose:Well, that was dissapointing.
Pygmy:I wish I could habe made this longer but this was a fairly straightforward fight with two undead giants who relied almost completely on overpowering their foes but both seemed even in strength.
Rose:Both can lift people up but Frankenstein's creation has shown more capabilities in moving heavier objects like that boulder while Nemesis can smash it's entire body through tough objects so it was a wash.
Zuggsy:Umbrella's B.O.W was faster however as even if the doctor's abomination hadn't slowed with age, he still hasn't dodged projectiles, but he was clearly tougher as he withstood an explosion bigger than the ones that his foe did.
Pygmy:To be fair, that took him out of commission in between movies while his foe got back up in a couple minutes while the Monster did have the advantage that lightning would bring him back to full power and T-Type's healing factor took a lot more time to kick in.
Rose:But both could potentially take advantage of their weaknesses with Nemesis having sharp tentacles and Frankenstein's creation having that weird electric heart rupture thing although considering how the former doesn’t even need a head, it was doubtful losing it's heart would kill it.
Zuggsy:The doctor's abomination was equally smart at times however with it knowing who created him but as Dracula stated, going without electricity just made him weaker and that was in the same movie that he got tricked by Costello which meant that the downward spiral that his intellect took throughout the series likely wouldn't be fixed.
Pygmy:T-Type was perfectly capable of keeping up with his targets in an entire city and could recognize Jill's voice along with having multiple attack methods so it was at least on par with the Monster's intellect in most films and the higher points were towards the beginning of his life.
Rose:Not to mention that even if the rocket launcher couldn't take out Frankenstein's creation in one shot, it could at least damage him more than thrown objects would do to Nemesis and having it's own weapon at almost all times removes the need for improvisation.
Zuggsy:The final bonus that Umbrella's B.O.W had was that it's transformations kept giving it new ways to fight the doctor's abomination and made it more difficult for him to keep up while he stayed the same throughout the fight.
Pygmy:Nemesis might not have been stronger but it could certainly hit first, take almost as much of a beating as Frankenstein's creation, and eventually destroy him with it's weapons and unpredictable mutations.
Rose:Man, Nemesis is a dick leaving Frankenstein's Monster's mom to tind him like that.
Pygmy:The winner is Nemesis T-Type.
Next Time[]
Trivia[]
-I originally was going to rematch an earlier fight of mine from Google +, Freddy Krueger vs. Nemesis T-Type, but decided this made more sense.
-I will use the original Universal Monsters canon for Frankenstein's Monster and Resident Evil 3 for Nemesis T-Type.
