- Connections between Fox and Buzz are that they're both leaders of space-defending teams, who debuted in 1990's. Both can also fire lasers from their handed weapons (Buzz's laser wrist and Fox's laser blaster). They also can fly around in space with their jet-like spaceships.
- This is the first fight where Tonygameman uses a cartoon/movie character in his Death Battles; in this case, Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies.
