History[]
Fisherman's real name is unknown. All we know is that he battles Aquaman multiple times and enjoys stealing rare objects and scientific inventions, and selling them to the highest bidder. He joins the Secret Society of Super-Villains and there are two other beings that have took on the mantle. During The Infinite Crisis the second Fisherman joins a bunch of other villains and attacks the Gotham City Police Department. He ends up getting shot and killed. The third Fisherman is revealed to be a xenoform parasite that imposters the original Fisherman.

Powers and Abilities []
- A reinforced titanium steel fishing rod with an incredibly strong polymer line which he is able to cast with great accuracy with either razor-sharp hooks or specially weighted lead bobs
- Wears a special pressurized suit with a recyclable air supply that allows him to breath for extended periods at the deepest parts of the ocean
- Fisherman has a number of special trick fishing lures that can either explode or release clouds of noxious gases upon impact
- The xenoform parasite attaches itself from host to host since the first Fisherman's debut. It takes over the target's mind and body once it has attached itself to the target. When possessing someone and turning that person into the newest Fisherman, the parasite takes on the disguise of a hood
- Once the parasite has turned a host into the Fisherman, the person can breathe and speak underwater
